Chapter Three

Mario wasn't surprised the front door of the club was unlocked, nor was he surprised that security was scarce as he followed the voices down the short hall.

"Come on, Clari. It's only one drink. I insist." Stacy slide a half filled glass towards her.

Clarissa looked down at the glass as Stacy picked up his "I'm good, Stacy."

"I didn't ask how you were; I want you to have a drink."

"Everything's all packed up, I think I should go."

"You should stay, a drink first. Just one."

Clarissa looked up at Stacy.

"I always have a drink with the one who stays back, Come on. You want this job, right?"

Clarissa's heart raced with fear as she kept her gaze on Stacy.

"Clari."

"It's Clarissa." She hated when people shortened her name, she hated when Stacy shortened her name.

"Clari." There was a tone in his voice that was edging on the brink of adamant.

"I'm just going to call Katy, see if she made it home safely."

"Don't worry, she did."

Mario stepped around the curtain, he could see something in his daughter that he had rarely seen, she was scared. His gaze dropped on Stacy; the two males hated each other with a burning passion.

"Clarissa, are you ready to go?"

Stacy turned his attention to the police officer standing in the way of his decorative curtains "Mario."

"Dad" Clarissa breathed out a sign of relief.

"Lovely to see you again." Stacy threw back his drink before returning his gaze firmly back onto Mario.

"Have you got everything, Clarissa?" Mario kept his gaze on Stacy.

"I just need my bag."

Mario nodded slightly "I'll wait."

Clarissa rushed out to the dressing room.

"Your daughter is a real pro on the pole." Stacy smirked.

Mario clenched his jaw; he knew Stacy was trying to rile him up.

"You should see the things she can do with her tongue." Stacy grabbed the bottle by his hand, he tore his gaze away from Mario and poured himself another glass. He threw back the glass before returning his gaze back to Mario.

Mario could feel an ache in his teeth from the way he was clenching his jaw, he needed to hold back his reactions.

Stacy smirked as he heard the keychains jingle from Clarissa's backpack "Goodnight, Clarissa."

"Stacy." Clarissa didn't look at her boss as she rushed towards her dad.

"Mario." Stacy spoke with a hint of frustration.

"Goodnight, Mr Moonzee." With that sentence Mario ushered his daughter out of the strip club.

Stacy breathed out heavily through his nose as he picked up Clarissa's untouched glass, he gripped the glass tight in his hand as he stared at the clear liquid.
