A/N: Long-ass update in hopes of making up for making you guys wait, like, 3 months

I had the choice of either a short update then a long update or just one big long-ass update so I chose long-ass because why the hell not

"Alright," one by one the dragons disappeared and everyone dropped to the ground. Ash landed on his face. Neuro glanced at Ash's back and continued, "Where do we go from here?" 

 All eyes turned towards the city. A dark, gloomy cloud loomed overhead and the buildings looked a little... closer together. Lizz squinted her eyes, "Do I need glasses...? Or are those skyscrapers-"

 "Closer together," Kai took a couple steps forward, ending a good few feet ahead of Lizz, "What the hell...?"

 "The Nindroids are planning something," Ash spit some grass out, his tongue still clicking around for blades of grass and mud stuck in his teeth, "Must be moving the buildings in an attempt to keep us out."

 "Or everybody else in..." Zane added, not questioning how they were moving buildings, "We need to hurry."

 Without warning Lizz took off at a flat sprint towards the city. Griffin watched her, "She's pretty fast."

 "Yeah, I know," Kai muttered dryly, conjuring up his dragon. Under no circumstances was he running after her again, "Get into the city and kill off any and all Nindroids you see--excluding Zane, obviously."

 Cole called up his dragon as well, "And make sure the people are safe."

 "Get them to safety first and foremost," Jay's dragon appeared, too.

 Neuro got on Zane's dragon with him and Ash with Cole, "Griffin?" he asked.

 "I'm takin' the long way, kiddo," Griffin gave a quick salute and disappeared, a dust cloud taking his shape before dissipating in the wind that had begun picking up.

 "I really hate that show off sometimes," Ash sighed heavily as their dragons went up, "Don't you?" 

 Cole laughed a little, steering to stay clear of the buildings in case there were droids on the rooftops, "Most days, yeah, but once in a while Griffin isn't too bad."

 "Cole!" Zane called down to him, "Neuro wants to know what we do with Lar if we find him!"

 "Incapacitate him," Kai answered for Cole.

 "Don't hurt him, though," Ash snapped, "He's my best friend. You find him, you tell me before anyone else," with that being said, Ash slid from the back of Rocky and fell about a half mile before his smokey grey dragon popped into existence. It was there for a few seconds until Ash was close enough to the ground. Then it disappeared again. 

 "Alright, everyone has their orders," Kai called.

 "Find Lizz," Lloyd yelled, "Then we meet at Borg Industries to end this once and for all." 

 "Lloyd!" Kai looked back at Lloyd, perched atop his green dragon, "Are you really sure it's safe for you to be here?!"

 "I don't care anymore," Lloyd frowned, "If you guys are here then so am I." 

 "Everybody stay safe. Especially, you, Lloyd," Zane did a nosedive to let Neuro off on the sidewalk before flying through the streets.

 Kai, Lloyd, Jay and Cole all nodded a once another before parting ways.

"Griffin," Lizz pivoted around to come nose-to-nose with the cocky man, "Why're you following me?"

 "Because I didn't feel like passing you just yet," he smirked at her, leaning on a lamppost, "Where were you planning on going?" 

 "Away," she panted a little, but not too badly, "To hide, fight, murder, I don't know. I just didn't want to be around the Ninja-"

 "Because you still don't feel like one of them, do you?" he raised an eyebrow. It was visible over his Aviators. 

It's dark out, how does he even see anymore?! "No, I don't feel like one of them. They grew up together, trained together, fought together and bled together. They're brothers in life and in battle. I'm just some random girl who popped into their lives, what, like, twelve days ago?! Yeah, I'll never be included with them."

 "Not with that attitude," Griffin looked around, a herd of Nindroids advancing quickly on them, "You have to want to be accepted before you can be accepted."

 "Holy hell you're right," Lizz steadied herself, blinking a little bit as she looked at him, "You're right!"

 Griffin gave her a wild look, "Yeah, alright. Focus now before we get torn apart." 

 Together the two charged into the droids, fighting with nothing but their fists, as the Blade on Lizz's back wouldn't do anything but hack into them and most likely tick them off. It was hard on their knuckles, punching metal, but it was working to some extent.

 Griffin grabbed the back of Lizz's Gi and pulled her back away from the wave of droids, "We can't fight all of 'em and we need to keep that blade away from them. Get to safety," he shoved her behind him.

 "Screw that, Griffin," Lizz went right back to stand at his side, "Either we both leave or we both fight. I'm not leavin' you behind and I'm not letting you leave me behind because I'm scared as all hell as it is. Being alone would freak me out even more."

 "I can outrun 'em, kid!" Griffin pushed her back a little more, "You can't! Now get to safety and get to the others so you five morons can get rid of the damn OverLord!" as he said this a Nindroid jumped at him. From mid air, Griffin grabbed it and threw it at some others, knocking some down and therefore slowing a few, "Now get outta here, sweetcheeks!"

 Someone's dragon flew overhead and Lizz paid no attention to the leathery flapping of wings as she yelled at Griffin--for that creepy nickname--until a sharp wind whipped her hair around and she was snatched up in a pair of claws, "What the actual fu-" Lizz screamed.

Quiet.

 "What in the name of-" she tried not to look down, but someone's voice was in her head.

It's me, Lizz.

 She looked at the dragon that kidnapped her and it all made sense, "Neuro put me back down!"

I can't do that. You'd get captured or killed and we need you to wield the fifth Techno Blade, he explained calmly, I am taking you to the top of Borg Industries where the others await your arrival.

 "But Griffin-!"

Griffin can hold his own quite well. He will be fine. She was set on a small balcony of Borg Industries and then Neuro dropped down next to her, "Inside. Now."

 "Where're you going?" all the same, Lizz complied and climbed through the window.

 "I am in here to protect you," Neuro was completely calm as he closed and locked the window behind them, "Cyrus, please explain to the young lady."

 Cyrus Borg was a kind man with short black hair and big glasses. He was back to a wheelchair instead of his all-terrain spider legs but all the same still was still very mobile, "I see you have finally accepted your destiny, Lizz Garmadon."

 She sighed heavily, "Sure. Why not? Just tell me what the hell is going on before I jump out the window and hit the sidewalk with a big welcome hug."

 "Well aren't you very impatient," Neuro crossed his arms and stepped between her and the window.

 "I have created an alternate universe as a game where one could play as a Ninja fighting evil," Cyrus shot an apologetic look towards Lizz, "You, however, are not apart of this-"

 "I don't care," she waved a hand, "C'mon. Chop chop. End of the universe is nigh, like, quit rambling, please." 

 "The game is where the OverLord is hiding," Cyrus wheeled closer to the five chairs, "I have just finished installing a fifth chair for you, Lizz. You five are to be transported into the Digiverse an reboot the system from the inside before the droids capture Lloyd and steal his Golden Power to make the OverLord tangible."

 "Cool!" Jay shouted, jumping into one of the chairs to spin around in it, "Does that mean it's exactly like a game?!"

 Cyrus scratched the back of his neck, "Yes, exactly like a game, Jay."

 Jay seemed to catch on and his face fell, "Oh..."

 "No unlimited lives, I'm assuming?" Cole wondered.

 "Yes," Cyrus backed up a little, "If you... get lost in the game you're lost forever." 

 "How wonderful," Lizz mumbled dryly.

 "Nobody is getting lost anywhere," Kai stomped his boot on the floor, "We'll all make sure of it. Right guys?"

 "Right!" the rest of them all joined in.

 Cyrus nodded, "Put your Techno Blades into the holder on the back of your chair and sit. Pixal--as soon as she gets back--myself and..." he glanced towards Neuro, "that man will do the rest."

 "Neuro Gray," Neuro told him, "My name is Neuro." 

 "Nice to meet you, Neuro," Cyrus nodded, "I apologize for having to meet under these circumstances, however."

 "It's alright," Neuro shrugged, "Keep them safe."

 "I will," Cyrus reassured him before turning to go the panels to the left.

 "Wait, is this going to hurt?" Lizz asked, "Like, I don't really feel much pain anymore, but just a warning would be nice. And if it does, is it going to be like a pinprick or an arrow through the knee?" a corner of her lips tugged up in a small smile as Lizz cast a glance towards Neuro. 

 "I have no clue," Cyrus admitted, "You are the control group, first to test this out."

 "Fun," Kai grumbled.

 "Kai, try to have a positive outlook on this," Zane began, closing his eyes, "If we succeed we may have all the time in the world to do whatever we want until another evil comes along."

 "So... about two months?" Cole asked.

 "Precisely," Jay smiled a little. 

 "Wait, so when we get into the Digiverse we just-" Liz opened back up her eyes, "What?! I am so confused."

 "You find a big glowy circle and then put your weapon in it!" Cole waved his arms.

 "Not that hard, Lizz," Jay added, peeking open an eye to look at Borg. In looking at Borg he missed Lizz's big grin that she adopted from Jay calling her by name, "Hey, Borg," Jay piped up, "What seems to be takin' so long?"

 "I was waiting for you all to get done with your conversations," Cyrus smiled warmly at Jay before slamming his fist down on a red button by his elbow.

 Lizz's eyes went wide, "I thought you weren't ever supposed to hit the red button!" her voice went shrill as something in her head began prickling like a thousand little needles. A splintered second later it turned to searing, burning pain and then a sucking feeling. Like being pulled inside out by a vacuum.

A/N: Alright, so I kinda misplaced Lloyd a lot in this chapter. He's in the city, and fighting when he needs to otherwise he's hiding... places. Nya, Sensei Wu, Ash, Griffin and ma n dad are all scattered about fighting, too. Pixal, Cyrus and Neuro are up with the Ninja to make sure that no droids decide, Hey lets stab them all when they're asleep!

So yeah. 

BIG update, I suppose. 

Now where do I go? Do I follow them into the Digiverse next chapter orrrrrrrrrrrr go float around the city and see what everyone else is up to? 

I'm kinda thinkin' go to the Digiverse....
