Rose's POV

"How do you turn a fraction into a decimal?" Ms. Nelson asked. 

Alana's hand shot into the air while I was sketching a new dress I wanted to make. 

It was so cute it looked like this: 

"Rose" I heard, I looked up to see Ms. Nelson facing me.

   "Yes" I said 

"Can you turn 5/15 into a decimal" she asked. I

 tried to remember what she said earlier then I just guessed, "0.33333333333" I casually said. 

"Correct" she said.

 I was so surprised.

Alana's POV:

I was very surprised that Rose got it correct. 

She wasn't the typical smart student.

 I guess helping her study was a good idea, so I decided to congratulate her later today. 

I was focusing so much on the lesson that I didn't realize the bell just rang and everyone was packing up their things.

 I rushed out of the class trying to talk to Rose before she left for her drawing club.

Noah's POV:

Ugh, I hate math.

 I wonder what Rose is doing.

 I peek over Ofc.

 She's sketching dresses.

 Then I hear Ms.Branes call on Rose. 

By the way, if you didn't know I have a crush on Rose, like a huge one.

Her blond hair, green eyes, so pretty. 

I try to catch her eye, but she's staring at, ugh, Ethan Gomie. 

With dreamy eyes and all. 

He does look like he likes her. 

I am going to talk to her.

"Hey Rose," I said a little to sus. 

"Uh, hey?"

 "Um, Alana asked, um, if you like um, Ethan Gomie." I say 

"Omg, does she like him? I have to go say sorry to her!" and she rushes off.

Mateo's POV:

I hate that I have a different homeroom than all of my friends.

 Maybe I could ask Rose if I could switch classes. 

She probably will say yes if I get Ethan (Gomie) to talk to her. 

After the bell rang I rushed over to Ethan to ask him, "Hey Ethan can you talk to Rose and ask her to switch my class to be with you guys. 

"Ok sure maybe later" he replied coolly.

 I can't believe I'm friends with Ethan Gomie. He is very famous, almost more famous than Rose.

*Flashback*

I was the new kid in school, I was so nervous. I had just moved to Snowspell from Waterlight, I was excited to come here but there was one thing I dreaded. School!! I didn't want to go but I had to. I walked into school with my favorite lucky clothes. Oh no, I dropped my books. "I'll help,'' said a boy my age. We both knelt down bumping into each other's forehead making him drop his books. "Sorry" I said. "No it's alright I was the one who helped." "Well then I should thank you for that" I said. We both giggled. After that we became friends. No one really knew since he usually hung out with the popular kids, but we both had each other whenever we needed.

*Flashback Ends*

Rose's POV:

I ran to Alana. "I'm so sorry, I didn't know you liked Ethan Gomie"

"I don't-" what? "Oh, ohmygosh! Got to go!"

"Noaaahhh! You big fat liar, Alana doesn't like Ethan, and guess what? I like him!"

Noah's POV:

"Noaaahhh! You big fat liar, Alana doesn't like Ethan, and guess what? I like him!" Rose says, matter of factly.

 I felt like my heart had been pulled out and stomped on a thousand times.

Ethan Gomie's POV:

I hear Rose talking to Noah, I like Rose, I'm sure he does too. 

Then Rose says something about Ethan, wait, I'm Ethan?

 What? Does she like me back? Poor Noah.

 Then Rose starts walking towards me.

"Hey Rose," I says. 

"Um hey, can I tell you something?"

 "Anything," She looks hopeful. 

"You belong to Noah-" and she ran away...

Noah's POV:

Rose's heart is broken, she won't talk unless rude Gomie is around.

 I just need her to talk to me, so I am trying all my options.

I am at the Mall, buying Rose a gift, or in other words a threat.

My heart is now broken, and Rose's parents are being savages. I am dark and cold now...

That Gomies gotta go.
