By then, Jaemin was a crying mess. It hurt him a lot, but he knew he shouldn't hold Jeno back.
He just can't.
Jaemin calmed himself down a bit and with a broken heart, he wrote a small letter for Jeno in return. Few tears fell down onto the paper, blurring out some of the ink, making him curse silently.
At last, he signed the letter, gave Jeno a peck on top of his head and left to the sci-fi section of the large library. He's going to miss the boy so much.
Jeno eventually woke up, sighing, as he stretched his sore body. He noticed the white haired girl by the table with a cup, soon placing it down next to the letter.
"Here, it's a freshly brewed green tea. You look like you need it more that Jaem does." She mumbled.
The boy thanked politely, taking a sip, his eyes soon landing on the other paper. There were some doodles, words that were in brackets and some of them stroked through a line. Probably because they weren't written right.
It caught the boy's attention. He just took it in his hands and started reading, the girl long lost.
"My dear Nono,
I understand and I'm truly not going to hold you h̶e̶r̶e̶ back. Just go and do your best, I'm (c̶h̶e̶e̶r̶i̶n̶g̶) rooting for you.
I wish you all the b̶s̶t̶ best with your family and career.
I love you a whole lot. ♡
Jaemin..."
His fingertips traced over the ink, blurring out some of the words even more than they already were, the tears welling up in his dark eyes.
But as much as Jeno wanted to go and hug the boy, he just couldn't. He knew that it would make him stay and the final goodbye would hurt even more. And he just didn't want that.
He just wrote an additional note to the previous one and with a heavy heart, he packed his stuff and left the library for the last time, saying goodbye to the kind European.
"Every goal will be for you, Jaem."
