Here among this Planet of Words,

With landscapes, gardens, and hovering birds,

And cattle moving in massive herds.

Here on the shores of Manila Bay,

On the eighth of a fair, evening May,

Drifts a Lily of the sea that sways!

Here on this exotic Planet of Words,

Where souls roam free and perverse,

Wishing that time will never go reverse,

This precious Lily kept in the Temple of Adoration,

Your radiance will swoon those who seek self-restoration,

And I hereby forge this proclamation.

Here upon this lovely Planet of Words,

Where ignorance is dead and love is immortal,

The Decree of Manila has come,

Entering this world through the blue, flower portal,

The Lily's Blossom has now begun,

In the late spring, under the morning sun,

The Lily in the Planet of Words is merely one.

Here within this miraculous Planet of Words,

Where Literature is dominant and Poetry lives forever,

This beautiful Lily binds us all together,

Here in this Planet of Words,

Where magic and books live for generations,

The wars are over for these ancient nations;

Therefore, love and peace will come with patience,

Here on this Planet of Words.

Here on this transcending Planet of Words,

The Manila Lily was once a flower,

Now a lovely woman standing before me,

Here on this late hour,

The Lily of Words, which I look upon with glee,

The Lily I have once preserved before,

Who has now blossomed amongst the magical shore,

Spreading her magic forevermore,

Here on this Planet of Words.
