??? P. O. V

I was just walking home from work when I heard the painful grunts of a man being beaten. I looked into the alleyways and saw two men one on the ground and the other stood tall. He continued to beat him. I just couldn't have it that way......*Sigh*. One of these days I'm gonna get myself killed if I keep butting into things that don't concern me. Well here I go.

Alucard P.O.V

I was gonna beat Rhose once more, but was interrupted by....a female?

Girl: "Leave him alone."

I smiled. She had guts, but I could still tell she was afraid.

Alucard: "This does not concern you."

Girl: "That I know. But I will not allow you to beat on this man for any reason."

Alucard: "Do you know him?"

Girl: "What does it matter, if I know him or not. Its wrong to fight."

I chuckled.

Alucard: "You're quite brave."

Then I heard Rhose beginning to regain full consciousness. I had to act quickly.

Alucard: "Girl, you have quite a future ahead of you. A dangerous one indeed."

Girl: "What!?"

I placed my fingers on the girl's left shoulder as I activated a power seal. I then placed my free hand upon Rhose's head as his power transferred into the human female's body. They both yelled in pain as the transfer was complete. My brother lost consciousness as the girl fell to the ground.

Alucard: "I apologize, my lady."

Girl: "What....d-did you d-do t-to me?"

Alucard: "This man is my brother. You are now his keeper. You bear his mark. I warn you go anywhere without him and you will be harmed greatly."

General Narration

With that said Alucard dissapeared in the blink of an eye. The girl looked back at the unconscious form of Rhose and sighed.

Girl: "Well looks like you're coming home with me."

The girl dug through jacket pocket and pulled bout her phone. She dialed a number and called it.

Girl: "Daddy can you come get me?............... I uh got hurt, but don't worry nothing serious. Umm and tell mom to prepare a guest room...........I'm not the only one who got hurt,............uh a friend of mine did too. Alright I'm in the alley next to my job. OK thanks dad. Bye."

She ended the call and waited as she sat next to the unconscious form of Rhose.

Alucard made his way back to the demon world and called for Rhonin.

Rhonin: "Welcome back, My Leige."

Alucard: "Rhonin, report."

Rhonin: "Certainly. Everyone is ready to go through with our way."

Alucard: "Excellent. We will commence once I am ready."

Rhonin: "One more thing, My Leige."

Alucard turned to face Rhonin with a raised eyebrow.

Rhonin: "We found a somewhat of a spy in the palace as we hid. He saw and heard everything we did and said earlier. But do not worry he awaits you in the dungeon."

Alucard put thought into it and smiled.

Alucard: "Claude."

Rhonin: "Precisely."

Alucard: "Then I shall see to him."

Alucard went off to the dungeon cells where Claude was held with chains as blood dripped from his wrists, from many attempts to break free.

A man in a plain white shirt, blue jeans, and combat boots stepped out of a Chevy Camaro and made his way through the alley where he found his daughter sitting watching over an unconscious man.

Man: "Sage?"

The girl, named Sage looked up at him and sighed. She stood up and hugged him. He hugged back and looked over at the man.

Man: "What happened?"

Sage: "I tell you later all I want to do now is go home, help this man, and go to bed."

Man: "You got yourself a deal. Get in the car I'll get the guy."

Sage nodded and sat in the passenger seat as her father fetched the man and placed him in the back seat.

Sage P.O.V

I thought back to what that man had said. "You are now his keeper. You bear his mark. I warn you, go anywhere without him and you'll be harmed, greatly." So many questions ran through my head at once. What does he mean by keeper? Who was this man? Why me? I sighed as my father drove me home. Keeper, Mark, Harm. What did it all mean?
