The Eating Habits
Breakfast Buddy
Kai'sa had gotten used to you having to leave early for work. It was just a part of the job.
She would sometimes wake up when you were leaving to say goodbye, or she would wake up alone in bed. Not that it ever bothered her.
She had grown used to it after the first month or so you got your job. So from Monday to Friday, she ate breakfast alone.
That did not change after you got married.
And today was no exception.
She ate her bowl of cereal on the couch as she watched the morning news. She had poured the last of what you had so she would need to either text you to get more or pick some up herself after work.
Kai'sa suddenly found herself looking at the empty space beside her.
Little did she know, you had actually left to buy some pastries. Your boss did actually need you until the afternoon, so you planned on having breakfast with your beautiful wife.
However, when you walked back into your home, you found your spot taken by a pillow that had one of your hoodies in it along with a pair of your glasses.
Y/N: Uh....
Kai'sa: Oh, Y/N. Meet Pillow Y/N. My breakfast buddy.

Lunch Meetups
Kai'sa was always busy when she worked. So it was rare for the two of you to be able to have lunch together.
You had your lunch break from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM. Kai'sa had hers whenever the job allowed.
And they did allow one. You made sure of that after they didn't let her eat one day and you had a...."chat" with them.
But here you were, eating lunch as you enjoyed your hour and a half break alone. You sometimes went with your co workers, but today you felt like trying something new.
Kai'sa: Y/N?
You looked up from your food to find your wife standing there with her manager.
Y/N: Oh. Hey.
Kai'sa: What are you doing here?
You pointed to the food. Kai'sa suddenly got an idea and turned to her manager. They spoke quietly before Kai'sa sat down across from you with her own food.
Kai'sa: I'll be your lunch pal for today, if that's alright.
You just smiled.
Y/N: Of course.
You found that lunch tasted much better when you ate it with your wife.

After Work Greetings
You were always home first. Until today, that is.
Kai'sa was surpised when she was told that it would be an early day. So she did everything with an ever present smile. And once she was freed, she said goodbye to her friends and hurried back to the house as quickly as possible.
There, she devised a plan. She quickly cooked something simple yet filling, she drew a bath, and she decided to do something that she always wanted to do with you.
You ended up coming home not long after. You spoke to your neighbors briefly before you pulled out your keys and opened the front door. Once it was closed, however, you were greeted with an surprising sight.
Kai'sa: Welcome home~
You blinked as you looked at your wife, who wore only an apron.
You could smell the fresh food in the kitchen and you could hear the water running upstairs. Kai'sa slowly approached you, making sure to swing her hips, smirking the entire way.
Kai'sa: You must've had a long day at work today. So, what will you have first? Dinner, a bath, or...
She leaned up towards you as she wrapped her arms around your neck.
Kai'sa: Me~
Her answer came when you picked her up and threw her over your shoulder. You then began to head upstairs.
Kai'sa: W-Wait....
Kai'sa's cheeks grew red as you headed for the bedroom.
She has been trying to get home before you more often lately.

Lost In The City
Kai'sa was still confused in regards to where everything was. She had a map, but it was all but useless.
And so, here she was, 15 years old and lost in the middle of a city. It didn't help that there were some guys walking around staring at her either.
She pulled out her phone, but it was dead. She tried to ask for directions, but no one offered any help. And she was also broke at the moment so she couldn't even get some food.
She suddenly found herself hating this place.
And school wasn't all that much better. Sure, she made some new friends and she was doing well, but her teachers were very strict and took the fun out of most things.
But then there was you. The boy that her teacher said to avoid since you were nothing but trouble. She could see it.
You were always covered in bruises, you were always late, you were constantly sleeping in class, and she was pretty sure she saw a tattoo at some point.
It didn't surpise her when she would find a teacher yelling at you in the halls.
She sighed before she decided to try and get herself out of this mess.
Kai'sa: Who needs a map? I don't.
And so, Kai'sa headed to find her own way. That quickly escalated to her getting even more lost. She soon found herself starting to worry a bit more.
Plus, she was pretty sure someone was following her now.
So she kept walling even though she had no idea where she was going. She just needed to get away from the person that's been following her for the last three streets.
But, she hit a dead-end. She began to really panic now.
Then, she felt a hand grab her shoulder.
Y/N: Excuse me...
She didn't even think twice before she turned around and grabbed your wrist. She pulled it away and delivered a powerful punch right to your nose.
You cried out as blood immediately poured out of your nostrils, which you held. By this point, everyone had taken notice of the situation.
Y/N: Fuck! I think you broke my nose.
Kai'sa: Why are you following me?!
You looked at her like she was crazy.
Y/N: Following....I was going to help you!
She didn't believe you.
Kai'sa: If that's true, then why did you follow me for three streets?
Y/N: I would've called out for you but I don't know your name. I kept saying New Girl but you didn't respond. Fuck, that hurts.
Kai'sa looked at you and realized you weren't wearing your uniform anymore.
Kai'sa: How do I know you're telling the truth? Word around school is that you're nothing but trouble.
You looked at her with narrow eyes. Kai'sa could tell she had hurt you with her question.
Y/N: I was just going to see if you needed help. But you know what? Fuck you. Jinx was right. You're trouble.
You turned away from her and left to go find a bathroom to clean up the blood that was now staining your shirt. Kai'sa watched you for a moment before she noticed something on the ground.
She bent down and picked it up. It was your phone. On it was your navigation app.
She immediately felt awful.
You really were just trying to help.
The next day at school, she had asked around about you. Though everyone said more or less the same thing, she did learn where you and your friends ate lunch. So, she headed up to the roof.
There she found you and three others eating snacks from some convenience store.
Though her welcome was icy cold and filled with sharp looks, she did ask to speak to you alone.
You crossed your arms as you waited for her to talk. She had pulled you aside from the others so that you would speak in private.
Kai'sa: Look, about yesterday....
Y/N: You mean when you nearly broke my nose?
Kai'sa: Y-Yeah.
She was quiet before she reached into her bag. She pulled out the phone she picked up and handed it to you.
Kai'sa: You really were trying to help. I'm sorry for jumping to conclusions like that.
She then bowed.
Kai'sa: Please forgive me.
She waited for some mind of response. Instead, she was met with silence. She slowly looked up to see you looking at your phone.
Y/N: Thanks for bringing this back to me.
You put your phone away and started to walk off. Kai'sa watched for a moment before you stopped and turned around.
Y/N: And for the record, apologies are pretty fucking worthless. If you're really sorry, then don't do it again. Actions speak louder than words.
You then turned away and headed back your friends. Kai'sa just stood there.
