Pearl's Perspective-

I sighed as I wiped the sweat off of my face.

Today was...eventful, to say the least.

I had built this huge tower, big enough to see the entire arena, and my dog had died.

I folded my arms on one of the windowsills and rested my head.

This is a lot more fun when you're watching people in the arena.

"Anyone up there?!"

I jumped and looked down.

I smiled as I saw Scar waving up at me.

"Gimme a sec, Scar!" I called, opening up my trapdoor and climbing down.

"Why hello there!" Scar smiled.

"Hey Scar! What do you need?"

"Just coming to collect some wood. Grian seems really angry."

I hummed and nodded, "You two not compatible tougher?"

"I'm not sure. I hope we are though, because he seems really nice! But I get the feeling he hates me."

"Well, there's always room for another tower." I smiled and Scar smiled back.

"Thanks! Oh, I just remembered, I fell into some powdered snow earlier," Scar said, rummaging around in his pockets, "And I got a bucket of it for you!"

He handed it to me, and I looked at it.

"Er- thanks, Scar! But what would I need this for exactly?"

"For getting back at Scott!"

"Oh! Thanks!"

I place the powdered snow next to me and walked in it, shivering from the cold.

"C-come on in S-Scar!" I said, my teeth chattering together as I moved a bit to the side.

Scar smiled and stepped in next to me.

We both shivered as we started to take damage.

I started to laugh hysterically, soon getting down to three hearts.

"Aw, Scott's eating." I said bitterly before stepping out.

Scar smiled and got out.

"Here," He said, bucketing the powdered snow and giving it to me.

"Thanks Scar! Imma use this to get back at Scott."

Scar chuckled and then said awkwardly, "Er- what did Scott do exactly?"

"Oh, you know...he threatened me for cheating on him and went off to live with Cleo instead and then Martyn ditched me and blamed me for everything so now I live alone, and I had a dog and then she died and," I paused and took a deep breath before smiling up at Scar, who looked concerned.

"Is- is that why you're all red?"

I nodded, "Yep! To symbolize my broken heart."

Scar smiled softly and hugged me.

"Aw, Scar, I'll be alright."

"I might take on that offer about having space for another tower. Depends on whether or not Grian allows me to bring in Jellie pandas."

I smiled back, "I'll always welcome some pandas."

Scar's smile widened and we then noticed the sun start to set.

"I better get this wood. I got a lot to collect. I need it for Grian, and for the panda sanctuary!"

"You're building a sanctuary?"

Scar nodded, "Yep! A home for all of the Jellies."

I giggled and waved goodbye as Scar left.

I went to bed, satisfied with how I spent the day, and little did I know, I would have a surprise waiting for me the next day.

I jumped as my communicator went off.

I checked it and saw that Ren was wanting me to meet him at The Box.

Weird. I thought, making sure I had all my weapons with me before leaving.

I passed by Scott and Cleo's bases, waving at them.

"Hi Scott! Long time no see." I said, smiling almost too brightly.

"Hi Pearl. How're you doing?" Scott asked, smiling the same way I did.

"Oh, you know, Martyn ditched me and my dog died."

"Oh no. I do actually feel sympathetic for that."

"Aw, thank you." I smiled before looking up at Scott's house.

"That's a nice house you got there."

"Yeah, I've been working on our- I mean, my- "

"Our? Oh, so it's my base to?" I asked, walking towards it, smiling mischievously.

"No, Pearl, I misspoke. It's my- "

"I heard 'our'! It's my base now, Scott!" I laughed, running in and looking around.

"Ooo, this is nice! A lot bigger than my tower."

"Pearl, get out."

"No! I live here!"

Cleo poked her head in and sighed bitterly as she saw me.

"Oh, hi Cleo!" I smiled, waving towards her.

Cleo put on a smile.

"Hi, Pearl! What are you doing?"

"We got a weirdo in our house, and she won't leave." Scott said and I laughed.

Eventually, after lots of arguing, I left.

I looked up at The Box and walked up.

"Ah, there you are Pearl!" Ren smiled.

"Hi Ren! Hi BigB! Sorry for the wait, I was bothering my soulmate."

"Er- no it's fine." BigB said.

"So it's true? You and Scott aren't living together?" Ren asked and I nodded.

"Yep! My soulmate ditched me, so I ditched him!"

Ren and BigB exchanged looks before I clapped my hands.

"So what did you want me for?"

"Oh! Yes! You see, me and BigB heard that you lost a dog recently." Ren started, walking down the hill towards a cobblestone box.

I nodded, "Yep. She fell off of some vines."

"Well," Ren said, breaking the top of the box, "Me and BigB got this for you."

I gasped as I saw the dog inside of it.

"We'll let you tame and own this dog if you form an alliance with us."

I squealed, "Yes! Yes, yes, yes, I want the dog!"

"Er- you're going to alli- "

"Yes, I will, just give me the dog!"

Ren and BigB both laughed and gave me some bones to tame the dog.

I took her home and up the tower.

"Welcome home, Tilly!" I smiled, naming her.

She barked and ran into me, wagging her tail.

I laughed as I pet her.

"Welcome home."
