4. Jughead Jones - Average

Imagine feeling out of place with the group.
Short imagine – sorry in advance.

I guess everyone is the girl next door – I mean unless you're a boy. However, the girl next door seems to be the innocent blonde who loves pink wears sweaters and dreams of attending Yale or Harvard. We are not all THAT girl.

The true girl next door doesn't exist, then I met Betty Cooper. Alice Cooper, her mother, was the same, Polly and her father were also. Looking at them – the only thing that wasn't perfect was the fact they had two daughters instead of a son and a daughter.

Then there was the typical bad boy, the one who lived in a trailer park home but had insane talent despite his family and living situation. Jughead Jones.

Basically, everyone in this room – was someone from a movie. Riverdale felt like a horror movie. I used to live in a small town in Canada, close to the border, now I lived here, in another universe.

I watched as Betty and Jughead laughed and smiled. She sat on Jughead's lap and fixed his beanie, Jughead played with a piece of hair that had fallen out of Betty's ponytail.

I watched and wished for something this pure, this unrealistic even. The more I watched them, the more of their friends I met. The more I realized that Riverdale was not for people like me.

I was not a girl from the movies, I was average with very little hobbies, none in which I was good at. I got average grades, has an average amount of money, had an ordinary job, but had more than average friends.

I saw their ex's, their currents, and even their futures. There was nothing for me,

"You okay?" Jughead asked as Betty looked over.

"Yeah. Just a bit down is all."

"About what?" He asked

That the men I love will never be with me, that no one from Riverdale will be with me. I didn't even really have them as friends, it was the 4 of them, and me.

"I rather not get into it," I whispered.

"Okay."

The bell rang, and everyone walked out. I watched as everyone waited for one another. The moment Jughead and Betty reached Archie and Veronica, they were gone.

I watched as they walked out, laughing into the halls. I smiled towards then, but the only one that looked back and noticed was Jughead, how waved and then followed his crew.

Riverdale, the land of perfectionists and beauty, and death. A place not made for me, yet it was the place I lived in.

Should I change this into a Riverdale Imagines book instead of just Cole and Jughead??
