People stared at the limousine as we passed the town. This is why I didn't want to ride it. The attention.

When we reached the post office, the attention got worse. The driver opened the door and helped me out. There were girls pointing and whispering. Boys turned their attention to me. Children smile and try to take my attention.

"Lady Haidee!" A little girl exclaimed.

I smiled at her and crouched down to her level, "Hello, what's your name?"

She beamed, "Melissa!"

"Well, Melissa. You look charming," I complimented to which she blushed at.

"Thank you," She said shyly, "You look more beautiful, Lady Haidee."

I smiled, "Please, call me Haidee."

"I can?"

I nodded, "Of course you can. Now I have to send these letters, would you like to come with me?"

She smiled, "Can I?"

I nodded.

"But I'm waiting for my mom. Thank you for talking to me, Haidee." She said.

I smiled and waved a goodbye before walking to the post office. I gave the letters and I ignored the phones that were filming my every move.

"Can I get an autograph?" A girl, my age came up to me and asked.

I smiled, "Sure. And please don't treat me like a celebrity."

She smiled, "Thank you!"

I nodded and she ran off. Some took pictures with me and some asked for my autograph. It was tiring. I don't know how celebrities handle this. I salute all the celebrities in the world.

When I got back to the limosuine, I sighed in relief. I rubbed my cheeks from smiling to ease the ache.

"That was tiring," I mumbled.

The driver drove me back home and I closed the door once I entered.

"I'm finally home," I said.

"What took you so long?" Lairence asked when I waltxed inside the living room and collapsed on the couch.

"People, and I had to wait for the limo." I answered.

"Limo?" Scuzette asked

I nodded, "That guard called the limo for me. I wanted to use the bus or something but no, apparently, I needed a limousine to get to the stupid post office."

"Well that's fancy," Laurence commented.

I rolled my eyes, "Too fancy if you ask me."

Laurence checked his watch, "Look at the time! We have to go now, Haidee. I need to take Scuzette home."

I nodded, "Take care."

I hugged Laurence and Scuzette before they left. There's an hour before lunchtime. Maybe I should start cooking?

I got up and went to the kitchen and looked at the contents of my fridge. When I finally saw something to eat, I cooked it. Whule waiting, I put the placemats on the table and thr plates, utensils, and cups. I also made some juice.

The door opened and in cane my second oldest brother. Vince got up from his seat and ran to him. I turned the stove off and went to my brother.

"Atlas!" I exclaimed.

He opened his arms and welcomed me in his arms, "Hey. How's my ugly sister?"

I punched his shoulder lightly, "That sister is fine but how about me?"

He rolled his eyes, "Whatever."

I smiled, "Come on, I just made lunch."

We went to the dining room and sat at our places. It was only the three of us eating because mom and the others were eating at the shop.

"So," I started, "How's med school?"

Atlas brought the food to his mouth, "Medical."

I groaned and rolled my eyes, "Can't you show a little emotion?"

"Haidee! Your cooking tastes great!" Vince exclaimed.

I grinned at him but turned my attention back to Atlas who had no emotion whatsoever. He'd be a nice royal.

"I am showing a little emotion," He responded.

"Like what?" I asked.

"Indifference."

"You do know that indifference means lack of feelings, right?" I asked with a glare.

He shrugged, "I study med, not language."

I rolled my eyes, "Right. At least tell me about something exciting."

"I performed my first operation," He stated.

"You did? That's great!" I exclaimed, "How was it?"

"Alright," He replied.

I sighed, "You're impossible."

He scoffed, "Believe me, you're much more impossible."

"Enlighten me," I ordered.

"First of all, you're stubborn and hard-headed. Second, you're always letting yourself get hurt by other people,"

I turned my gaze to my food at this.

"Third, you defend people not worth defending. Fourth, you're a coward and someone who doesn't take risks. Fifth, you were totally oblivious to your best friend's crush on you before you left for the palace."

I gasped, "What? What doㅡ"

"Sixth, you never told us you were leaving our old house and were not coming back any time soon. Seventh, you didn't dance with any of your brothers when it was your birthday ball. Eighth, youㅡ"

"Alright! Alright, you win. So please stop talking," I pleaded.

I saw him smirk as he ate. I glared at him.

"Laurence had a crush on me?" I asked.

He nodded, "I was so sure the two of you would end up with each other if he mans up and confesses before but now, I guess you're going to be the princess."

I sighed, "Does everyone really think I'll win?"

"If only you knew. As you know, a lot of co-doctors and nurses flirt with me before because of my good looks, but now, the number drastically increased. They wanted to be married to the brother of the future queen."

I scoffed, "You better get away from them. They don't deserve you."

My brothers were really good looking and it was unquestionable. Vince was still young but he'd grow up to be a heartthrob.

He smirked, "Like they even have a chance."

I smiled, "That's better."

When it comes to my brothers and I's relationship, we'd be named differently for each pair. For example, if I'm with Austin, they call us the 'off-limits' pair because we'd steer off every guy or girl who comes for us. When I'm with Xavier, we're the 'angels'. If I'm with Vince, we're called the 'cutie-pies' since they said we were the cutest among siblings. However, when I'm with Atlas, we're called the 'devils' because we'd plan a lot of evil things together.

After lunch, we just did what we wanted to. Vince was watching a cartoon, Atlas was studying in his room. I was in my room and looking for what I can do.

I regret not bringing my violin. I plopped down on my bed. I really missed the palace. Whenever I'm bored, I could always go explore or hang out with my friends.

What if I did win the selection? I'd be alone in the palace without  anyone to talk to and I'd be responsible for the duties of a queen. On the bright side, I'd get to live comfortably and maybe do some good to this world. And I'd be with him.

But when I think of it, I was somehow prepared for the duties of a queen. I almost got married to him and I needed to be taught about what a queen does.

Would I be willing to lead the people?

If only he wasn't royalty, maybe I would have met him in the neighborhood and fall in love. I'm sure Diana would take the job and so would Julianne and Claire. They'd be fit to be queen.

Claire was a crowd favorite and a favorite of Tony considering she was second. Diana is responsible and smart, she'd be a wise choice for the country. Julianne is elegant and posses qualities of a queen, she'd be a great queen.

And me?

I was merely the girl who looked like the princess of Italy and was forced to marry William. But no, William and Celestiana are a thing so they made us switch. Tony and I were engaged and yupee! The people of Illèa disagrees and makes him have a selection!

Should I thank my parents because they gave me genes that looked like Celestiana's?

If that engagement party for Celestiana and Tony didn't happen then the palace wouldn't have ordered flowers from us. If they didn't order them, I wouldn't have stepped into the palace and give my fingerprint.

I don't know if everything was worth it or I was better off not coming inside the palace walls.

Now that I'm replaying the events that started everything, I remembered that he said that they knew I looked like Celestiana. When exactly did they know? Did they somehow walked out of the palace and saw me outside of my house with Laurence?

I don't recall any royal spying on me. If I did somehow meet them before, I don't remember.

I got up from my bed and walked around my room, trying to look for something to do.

What if I decorate the house?

That would be nice, but we didn't have any Christmas decorations. What if we buy some?

I dashed out of my room and knocked on Atlas's door.

"Atlas!" I called.

He opened the door wearing his reading glasses, "What?"

"Let's buy some Christmas decorations!" I said.

"What about Vince?" He asked.

Right. I forgot about him, "Maybe we can bring him with us?"

"What about the house?" He asked.

"There are guards here, they can take care of it."

"No, they won't. They'll just come with us." He replied.

I sighed, "Then how can we buy decorations?"

He shrugged, "I don't know. Maybe order some from the internet?"

"We don't have internet here. We didn't buy one." I answered.

"Then go order one of the guards to buy some." He said.

"I don't think I can order them around."

"Then don't buy decorations." He said and closed the door.

I huffed and went back to my room. What should I do now?

I laid down on my bed like what I did before. I sighed, I might as well just sleep.

---------------

Well this was really short and boring but that's what she felt haha.
