Manny was actually nice enough to drop me off at the school. It's actually been a while that he has. I miss that.

Before I got out of the car I thanked him and he gave me a good bye kiss. He told me he would be back to pick me up after my class was over. He was really trying to be nice.

Heading towards my class I saw a few of my friends so I stopped by to say hi. After a few minutes I heard my phone ringing so I pick it up.

"Hello?" I say once I answered it.

"Hey ma! Are you in class yet?" my best friend Farrah asks.

"Hey hon, actually I'm walking towards it now. Why, what's up." I ask curiously.

"Okay good. Listen, I have really good news for you..."

"Oh yeah? What is it?" I ask.

"Well, I found out that the new boss from my company is looking for a Temporary Assistant to cover the position for three months. He took over as the President since his father stepped down and his Assistant is having back surgery and needs to recover...soooo." she drawled the last part excitedly.

"Back surgery? Wow, that sucks." I tell her.

"I know, so anyways, I thought of you for the position. Aren't I the best?" she joked.

"I don't know Farrah. I don't really have the experience..." I began to say but she cut me off.

"Kalene...stop. You are going to school for Business Administrator and this will be a great opportunity for you! Plus, you've worked in an office before so you do have experience...and think of how great the pay will be!"

I sighed. She was right. I need more experience and the pay will help me with school.

"Anyways, you can't say no..." she says making me wonder what she did.

"What do you mean...Farrah! What did you do?" I ask quizzically.

"Oh, nothing. I had a copy of your resume which I cleaned up a bit and submitted it to Human Resources, sooo...you should be getting a phone call for an interview in the next few days."

"Farrah...WHY would you do that without telling me?" I ask rubbing my temple...this girl I tell you.

"I'm telling you now. Hey, I was only thinking of you. Shouldn't I get a thanks Farrah?" she says sarcastically.

"Thanks Farrah. I appreciate you thinking of me. Listen, I have to get going...I will call you later." I tell her reaching the door to my classroom.

"Alright. Call me later. Love ya ma!" she says and I tell her good bye. I love her, she's always thinking about me and takes care of me when I need it. She has been there for me through thick and thin and I know she'll always have my back. Even when she's begged me to leave Manny a thousand times.

2 Hours later...

My class was finally over so I was gathering my things to leave when my friend Luke came over.

"Hey Kalene...how are you?"

"Hey Luke. I'm good, just tired and glad that class is finally over. How are you?" I ask him as we begin to walk out of the room. Luke is a total sweetheart and very attractive. I see the way females look at him when he walks into the classroom or when he walks down the hallway.

"Well, I'm much better now that I'm talking to you." he smiles shyly. He's so sweet.

"You're sweet Luke. I like talking to you too."

"Good to know! So...do you need a ride home?" he asks looking down at me since he's so tall.

I stopped walking and looked up at him "Thanks for asking...but Manny is picking me up."

He nodded pursing his lips "Oh, okay. Was just wondering if you needed a ride home" he says gazing at me and then furrowing his eyebrows.

"Kalene? What happened to your cheek?" he asks concerned reaching out to touch my cheek which made me flinch.

"Um, I dropped my phone on my face when I was laying down. I don't know how many times I've done that." I laugh nervously hoping he believed what I said. I didn't want him asking any more questions.

Luke stared at me cautiously and then answered "Yeah...I've done that a few times. It hurts..."

"It sure does! I'm very clumsy and uncoordinated at times." I say thinking back at the times Manny hit me and left bruises on my body.

He hummed and sighed. "Alright, if you want I can wait with you until Manny gets here."

"That's okay Luke...I'm sure you have other things you need to do. I'll be fine...Manny should be out front waiting for me." I tell him hoping he doesn't insist on staying with me...I know how Manny gets and if he sees Luke waiting with me he'll think we have something going on. I don't need a repeat of what happened earlier.

"Are you sure Kalene...It's not a problem." he smiled.

"Positive! Now go, I'll see you next time." smiling at him I push him lightly joking around which made him chuckle.

"Okay beautiful...I'll go since you don't want to be seen with me." he winks and steps back.

"Bye Luke." shaking my head laughing I wave bye to him.

"Bye Kalene. Have a good night." he says turning around walking towards the parking lot.

I watch him leave and walk over to the bench to wait for Manny...where is he?

Ten minutes pass and I hear a car horn in front of me. Looking up I notice that is Manny. Thank goodness he arrived.

Standing up I pick up my bag and walk towards the car. I open the door and sit down.

"Hey beautiful, how was class?" he asked with a smile leaning over to me to give me a peck on the lips which made me happy. I liked this side of him.

"Good...long. Glad is over...I'm so ready to go home, take a shower and then bed." I was really tired and I have work tomorrow.

"Hmm, sounds like a plan." he says and takes off towards home.

We made it home in twenty five minutes. Getting out of the car Manny rushes over to my side and takes my hand. Looking at our intertwined fingers I smile.

We reach the door to our townhouse and he stands in front of me and smiles. I tilt my head to the side and purse my lips. What is he up too? I thought to myself.

"Manny?"

"I want you to close your eyes." he grinned lifting my hand kissing it.

"Okaaayyy." I respond.

Nodding his head he unlocks the door opening it and then goes to stand behind me covering my eyes in the process. We step inside and he begins to guide me inside until he stops me.

I feel his warm breath on my ear sending shivers down my spine. "Open your eyes baby." he whispers taking his hand away from my eyes.

I wait a few seconds and open my eyes only to gasp in surprise. "Manny?" I say turning around to look at him.

"Surprise baby!" he says kissing my lips sweetly.

Pulling away I turn around and look around our bedroom. There before me are candles lit around the room with rose petals spread on our bed with a big stuffed bear holding a heart that said "I'm Sorry". It was beautiful.

"Do you like it?" he asked as he pulled me closer to his body, my back against him.

"I love it...but, what's this for?" I whispered wondering why he did all this for me.

"Because ma...I want to show you how much I love you and to tell you how sorry I am for hitting you earlier. I lost my temper and you didn't deserve it. Please forgive me baby. I will try to control it next time. I love you too much to hurt you. Please believe me." his voice quivered and as I turned around I saw his eyes tearing up. It broke my heart to see him cry and upset. He didn't mean to hit me, I know he was sorry.

"Manny, I forgive you. I know you didn't mean to hit me...okay? I love you." I tell him and kiss him. "Thank you for this babe."

"Anything for my baby." he smiled pulling me closer to him by my waist and crashing his lips on mine kissing me tenderly.

"I'm going to show you how sorry I am and show you how much I love you Kalene. You are my everything...I don't know what I would do if you left me." he said kissing my jawline and down to my neck making me moan.

While kissing me he slowly backed me against the bed. He broke the kiss and stared into my eyes "How did I get so lucky?" and smashed his lips on mine once again but this time more hungrily...desperately.

Pulling his shirt over his head he began to undress me throwing the pieces of clothing on the floor. Lifting me up so my legs wrapped around his waist he laid me on the mattress gently trailing wet kisses down my body. Moans escaped my lips and warmth filled my body. It felt so good.

"You are mine Kalene...only mine. I love you so damn much baby. Tell me you want me...tell me you love me." his raspy voice begged for confirmation.

"I want you Manny...only you. I love you...always." my voice was shaky from the pleasure his lips were giving me.

"Good...that's the way it will always be. You and me baby...forever." he said as he stood up to take off his jeans and briefs then stalking over me he bent down to kiss my body.

Staring at me lustfully he spread my legs apart and smirked "Your pu**y is only mine Kalene...don't you forget it. I'm going to pleasure you all night baby just so I can show you how much I want you..." and with those words he thrusted himself in me and like he said...pleasured me all night long.
