Sometimes putting God first can be challenging. Seeking God will cost us, but what's more important- your pride or your spirit? In the harsh world that we live in, it's so easy to put your mind on other things and lose focus on the Father. We all struggle with something, and the devil likes to attack us spiritually when we begin to lose sight of God's plan for our lives.

1 Chronicles 16:11
Seek the Lord and His strength; seek His face continually.

Jesus wants to get to know you, and He wants to be your best friend. He wants you to seek Him when you feel sad, lonely, scared and even when everything is going just fine. Seeking Him is vital for our spiritual growth. Talking to God during the day can keep you at peace and bring you joy. Talk to Him like you would to a friend, and depend on Him no matter what your circumstances look like.

Romans 3:10-11
"There is no one righteous, not even one; there is no one who understands; there is no one who seeks God."

We won't always feel like seeking God. With the temptation of sin and the tactics of the enemy, it can become very easy to give into fleshly desires. We need to ask God to help us overcome this opposition and we need to earnestly seek Him daily. Simply making time for God in your busy day can make a big impact on your relationship with God.

Sometimes we need to cut back on things or try doing more of something in order to truly get to know God. We need to deny ourselves in order to recognize how powerful He truly is.

Thankfully God is patient and is still working in our hearts. Find out what you're good at, think about what you enjoy doing, you can develop those skills and use those for the glory of God. Whether you're good at drawing, writing, singing, speaking, making videos etc.. you can honor God by using the things He has given to you.
