Many Christians are often unaware of how powerful they really are. God's Spirit resides in you, therefore He has given you the power to do the things Jesus did. Nothing is impossible for us. We have power to make the enemy flee from us. God tells us so many things that we have the power to do in the Bible, but many find it hard to believe because they are thinking with a worldly mindset instead of a renewed mind.

Mark 3:11
And whenever the unclean spirits saw Him, they fell down before Him and cried out, "You are the Son of God."

Even demons acknowledge and fear the power that the Messiah holds. They fell down at His feet and confessed that He is, indeed, the powerful Son of God. Jesus has the power to cast out demons. At Jesus' name, evil flees and surrenders. Since Jesus can cast out evil, so can we because we are filled with His Holy Spirit. We can cast out demons and pray for others so that God can set them free from their bondage and cancel the plan that the enemy has for their lives.

James 4:7
Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

If we call upon the name of the Lord and completely surrender ourselves to Him, the devil will be powerless against us. Greater is He that lives in us than he that is in the world. Through Jesus, we are conquerors and can overcome any obstacle laid in front of us. The devil can't stop you anymore. At times you will have problems, but if we look up to God and give Him glory, we will surely reap a harvest.

Matthew 19:26
But Jesus looked at them and said, "With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."

With God, what man thinks is impossible becomes possible. We have the power to heal the sick, restore the sight of the blind, allow the deaf to hear, and Jesus can make hard hearts become new again through us. He can bless you abundantly with success if you work hard in the path He has set before you. You will live life in abundance and be a great example for others, giving them hope, if you just trust in God and seek Him continually.

Acts 2:21
And it shall come to pass that everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Jesus' name has the power to save. He can deliver you of any addiction or stronghold that is hindering you in your walk with Him. He died on the cross so that we can obtain salvation. Through His sacrifice, we are saved, healed, and delivered.

It can be difficult to realize the capability that we hold when we begin to grow weary. Sometimes we don't know how to apply that kind of power. The power that He uses in us can be revealed in many things. From giving someone a smile, a compliment, or a word of encouragement, we can really make an impact on someone's day by doing a variety of different things. One simple thing can change someone's mood in a split second, let us use the power that God has given us to build each other up.
