The alarm in Julian's room went off as she strolls off the bed in distress.

Julian was rather uneasy than excited about continuing her senior year at school mainly because she was going to be faced with her rapist.

I mean who wouldn't be terrified of a person who took advantage of their body?

It was barely 6:00 AM but Julian's parents always say

"the early bird is always the most perfect".

Julian was already in her school uniform putting on some make-up.

Tho Julian wasn't the one to wear makeup her father insist she wears it than to look like a tired elderly woman.

Packing her bag she took the elevator to the first floor of her house entering the kitchen.

Julian's parents were filthy rich, Her mother and father were both lawyers "the best in the state" to be honest.

" Have you brushed your teeth darling" Julian's mother Rebecca asked still facing the stove.

Rebecca was scrambling some eggs whilst her father Jonathan sat on a stool reading the daily newspaper and drinking some coffee.

" Yes mother" Julian answered being the innocent child her parents raised.

Some part of Julian was annoyed by her parents rules... All she wanted to do was smoke and drink her pain away.

" Remember you have your SAT classes after school along with your violin and piano lessons" Jonathan lectured still keeping his gaze on the newspaper he was reading.

Julian just nodes her head as she ate her breakfast waiting for Joe to start the car.

Joe was Julian's driver. Even tho she was old enough to drive, her father never allowed her to, he claims that it was a "distraction" to the human mind, but yet he got her a phone.

Seeing the big sign saying "welcome to Huston high school" brought back painful memories to Julian. her heart was racing and her mind was uneasy.

"What if I become the school's laughingstock?", "what if Jamel told the school lies about what happened that night?", "what if I don't fit in?" the thoughts rising through Julian's mind as she was only interrupted by her drivers voice.

" and welcome to hell" Joe sighed Turing to Julian

" Mind if I take a smoke before I go"? Julian asked popping out a pack of cigarettes out of her bag.

Joe knew about Julian's drinking and smoking habits, in-fact he was the one who covered for her most days,or pick her up from frat parties when she was too drunk to walk home. He was what you call a guardian angel for Julian.

" Knock yourself out kiddo" Joe replied leaning back Julian's car seat, so she wouldn't be seen smoking.

During the five minutes of relaxation, Julian finally felt high enough to not give a shit about what people would say.

Spraying some perfume on her uniform to drown out the cigar smell she pulled back up her car seat giving Joe the pack of cigarettes.

Julian then got out of the car allowing her hair to fall to her face whilst she made her way into the school.

Tho Julian gain more confidence over the three years she's been gone, she still felt the need to act like the innocent saint that left this school.

Paying no attention to what was happening in front of her Julian bumped into something or rather someone dropping her lip-gloss and notebooks to the floor.

" My bad" Julian shaly apologized bending down to take up her belongs.

Looking up to the person she saw no other than professor Monroe. Of- course, Julian didn't know who he was at the time, but she still gave her respect towards the handsome man.

" Be careful next time young lady" professor Monroe replied walking away before Julian could reply.
