Tokyo and her team are runaway freelancers. During the early times of the MOI, Tokyo had walked in on The Director with a AI. She noticed The Director was abusing it and by using force rescued the non-fragmented AI and soon began a riot but there was no proof of his intentions. Tokyo managed to attract a few other freelancers to rebel but the group were quickly chased and nearly killed when fleeing the MOI.
