Asagi and I stand together clad in armor as Caliburn  dangles downward in my hand. The pair of us look forward at Issei, in his Incomplete Juggernaut Drive.

"So how are we gonna do this?" Asagi asks.

"We do this by working as one. We need perfect synchronicity."

"That won't be necessary." Vali says appearing next to the pair of us.

Asagi's eyes widen as he turns to him. "Vali?"

"I sensed a change in Issei's power. I wanted to see what it was. Is that him down there? It looks like he had an incomplete transformation."

"Do you know if there's any way to change him back?" Rias asks.

"In an incomplete state, there is a chance it will happen naturally. But if not, he'll use up his life force until he dies." Vali says nonchalantly.

Arthur sighs standing on a glyph. "Either way, you should be worried, his life is most certainly in danger. We found these two in the Dimensional Gap. They're lucky to be alive. They were protected from its radiation by the boy."

I crouch down quickly readying a healing spell. "Chisaki..."

Bikuo hums. "That is one lucky girl. She would've been exposed to the void had it not been for him and then us. A body cannot stand that kind of pressure and will dissipate into the nothingness."

Rias frantically looks between the pair. "If we tell him that Asia is safe, Issei should be able to regain control of himself."

Vali shakes his head. "Merely approaching him will kill you. I won't stop you, though."

"Vali, Asagi and I are the only ones who can approach without dying." I point out.

Rias blasts off as I zoom past her along with Asagi when flying above us suddenly is Vali transforming into a dragon. Vali, Asagi and I battle with Issei. Slashes and blasts. The explosion of the battle rocking the underworld. When Vali divides Issei's power, Asagi and I back off when Rias arrives. However Issei soon after roars.

Vali hums,having reverted. "Strange, his energy signature isn't purely dragon."

I stare at Issei. "There's something..."

"Inside him." Orphis finishes my sentence.

Asagi scoffs. "Well look who showed up." We watch as the dragon shatters followed by Issei falling into the grasp of Rias. We all glance to a small purple magic in Orphis' hand.

"What's that?" Asagi asks.

Orphis stares at it. "Something that was inside of him."

"I've seen that before." Asagi mutters.

"Yeah, it reminds me of..."

Asagi & I both fully recognize it looking to each other. "Raynare."

POV none

Everyone lands and surrounds Issei as Lucy works on healing Chisaki and Asia.

"Asia!" Issei shouts.

He attempts to run for her but stops as a fist slams into his chest. He looks up to spot an unarmored Daniel.

"Vali and his team rescued her." He explains.

Vali shrugs. "It was a chance thing, that's all."

"Asia? Asia!"

She opens her eyes and spots Chisaki laying next to her as she glances over to Issei "Issei? What happened?"

Issei smiles. "Asia! You're o-!" He's then pushed away by Xenovia shoving him aside and hugging Asia while crying for her as Crystia smiles at this.

"Issei Hyodo, Asagi Phoenix, Daniel Star. Take a look." Vali speaks, standing a bit away, he doesn't even look at the pair. The three males walk up to Vali as a large dragon flies on the skies nearby.

Asagi's eyes widen. "No way... that's-!"

"The Dragon Of Dragons. He is often called DD the true Red Dragon God Emperor." Daniel watches Great Red bored.

Vali nods. "Great Red."

Issei's eyes widen. "Great Red..."

"He chooses to live in the dimensional gap and flies around for all eternity in there. Orphis wants that, as well. My goal is to defeat him."

Daniel hums. "Sounds like a lofty goal. Is that why you took Fenrir?"

"No. Fenrir is no match for Great Red, To become the True White Dragon Emperor. The White Dragon God Emperor. Someday, I'll take down the Great Red,"

"Great Red. It's been a while." Orphis glares at the massive dragon.

"Who is that." Issei asks.

Daniel crosses his arms leaning back a bit. "Gah." He says unsure of how to explain it. "Meet Orphis. The Infinite Dragon God." He says, not sure what else to say.

"One day, One day soon I am going to obtain my silence."

"Tell me something you three. Do you want to defeat me?" Vali asks.

Issei shrugs. "I mean yeah. I still don't want you dividing Rias's or Akeno's boobs in half."

Asagi scoffs. "Idiot."

Daniel shrugs, crouching down he grabs a rock before standing, he stands up and readies to throw the rock at Great Red. "I don't care about your fight. I want to defeat Black Jackal and Style."

Asagi watches Daniel. "I want to kill Style Kael."

Daniel throws the rock, and it flies far, he turns walking away, not watching what happens to the rock, Asagi and Vali both note how the rock does hit Great Red, but not on the head where he was aiming. "Let's go home." Daniel says.

The group then begins walking back as Vali stops Daniel for a moment. "Kuroka is still offering."

"She knows I'm in a committed relationship, it'll take defeating Great Red levels of things she'll need to do before I even entertain the idea."

Daniel raises his arms behind his head and walks away his fingers interlocked as he closes his eyes teleporting with the others. After they returned Daniel sighs and looks back just as Issei collapses.

"Issei!" Rias cries out.

Later...

Azazel stands at the foot of the bed Issei is asleep on. "Mind if I asked you a couple of questions? I don't mean Issei. I'm talking to you, Welsh Dragon."

Sir Zechs sighs sitting in front of Rias. "Still nothing? That's unfortunate."

Azazel hums, joining them. "Yeah, we haven't been able to bring him out of his coma. The kids devil power is replenishing and his bodies healing up alright. It would seem that the extent of his injuries go deeper inside though."

"Deeper inside?" Zechs ponders.

Kiba looks down. "He's never had such an intense transformation. Seems for now, our only option is to wait it out."

Asia bows. "Issei's suffering because of me. I'm so sorry!"

Chisaki shakes his head. "No, it's because I couldn't protect you."

"Any of the blame goes to those Chaos Brigade cunts." Daniel says bluntly.

"Huh. Hey, Asia, Chisaki, I got a question." Azazel steps forward.

Asia backs away behind Chisaki. "Uh Huh?"

"You still haven't done it yet, right? I'm talking about what you worked on in training. Because of his incomplete transformation it seems apparent that the dragon inside of Issei is malfunctioning. The fact that his arm is still in dragon form only serves to prove the point."

"If that's the problem then how do we start fixing it?" Rias asks.

"Asia's Sacred Gear might."

"Might is the operative word." Daniel adds.

"Will Asia be in any danger?" Chisaki asks.

"I honestly couldn't tell you. It is a possibility, but it's not inevitable."

Asia steps forward. "I'll do it. I at least have to try."

Daniel grins. "I believe in you Asia. I'm sure Issei would too if he could speak to you."

Everyone leaves the pair to it as Daniel turns to Chisaki. "We'll need to figure out your Sacred Gear." He says leading his friend outside the hall.

"Sacred Gear?"

"When Vali found you and her in the Dimensional Gap he said you protected her and yourself. Azazel and I will be doing research to find out what it is."

Everyone walks ahead and Chisaki and the elder Star walk away from the group. Instead heading outside the pair stare at each other, Daniel having drawn one of his regular swords. He charges for Chisaki who dodges and avoids every attack almost instinctively. The two go for several hours as he's trying to push Chisaki further than ever before until Chisaki finally gets angry after a taunt about Issei sleeping with Asia.

"Don't fuck with me!"

Chisaki suddenly gains a dark aura as Daniel jumps back and summons Caliburn duel wielding his swords as a dark green aura forms around Chisaki and he burst through shattering one the swords he had on contact. This moment forces Daniel to jump back avoiding Chisaki and not engaging with Caliburn as he forms a magic barrier and entrap Chisaki inside it.

"I get it now. Azazel will get a kick out of this. Chisaki Nomu... a fake name." Returning into the group he keeps the barrier up as he shows his findings to Azazel.

Azazel sighs. "If that's what Chisaki is, then it'd be better for him not to know."

"But the point was to help him discover this."

Azazel shrugs. "You'll have to tell him."

"Of course." Daniel groans, before seeing the cheerier demeanor of the others. "I'm assuming Issei's awake?"

Azazel nods. "Yeah."

Daniel hums. "Cool, I'm off." He sighs realizing what he'll have to do returning she finds Chisaki asleep in the grass with Irina watching over him.

"Is there a reason he was passed out on the grass?" Irina asks.

Daniel doesn't pay her any mind. "Sacred Gear training."

"What do you mean?! He could've been kidnapped!"

"Even if he was, it'd be more dangerous for them to keep him." Daniel grabs a bottle of water and drinks some of it.

"Why's that?" Irina asks.

"Chisaki is a rare breed indeed. He's one of very few who could survive in the Dimensional Gap." Daniel kneels down next to Chisaki, looking down on his blonde friend. "There were clans that could control the blood inside their enemies, The Mankoi's are the combination of the Koi clan and the Mansia clan. Both clans were built from geniuses. Descendants of special individuals that banded together. Chisaki however, is named Chisaki Nomu... however, he may very well be the last of the descendant of Cassiel.

Irina's eyes widen. "The Angel?"

"Cassiel was once an Angel. Shortly before their death Cassiel began having many children, letting themself fall in an attempt to bolster the numbers of Heaven in the aftermath of the Great War. When this was discovered a method for redeeming Fallen Angel's was invented and Cassiel was the first this method was used on, many of their descendants are found by Heaven the standing order is to take them to Heaven to purify them. Chisaki hasn't been purified yet... so, will you try to take him away?"

"He's the descendant of an angel and my orders are to take him..." Irina mutters looking at Chisaki sadly.

"Taking him means you'll have to fight for him. Not to mention explaining to Asia why you took her boyfriend."

Irina glances to Chisaki then to Daniel before thinking. Daniel sighs, himself having lost count of how many times he's done that today, making a small glyph, one not meant for teleportation. Irina looks to him opening her mouth but goes quiet when Daniel speaks to the circle.

"Lord Micheal."

Micheal hums, but is pleasantly surprised to hear from Daniel. "Oh, Hello Daniel."

"Would you mind leaving one of Cassiel's descendants alone."

Micheal's voice takes on a much more serious tone. "Who?"

"Chisaki Nomu."

"Ah, yes, Chisaki. If Chisaki is made aware of his lineage and chooses to then it shall be permitted, why don't we ask him now?"

Daniel takes a quick breath and walks past Irina as she expresses her confusion through the fact that she is partially protecting herself and her eyebrows are furrowed doesn't go unnoticed by Daniel. He grabs Chisaki by the ear and lifts him slowly causing him to wake up screaming in pain.

Daniel smiles lightly. "Welcome back, bud."

Chisaki glares at the red eyed teen. "What was that for?!"

"I have news. And a question."

Chisaki sighs. "Start with the news."

"Well, For one your gay."

Chisaki deadpans. "Very funny."

"No, I mean happy."

Chisaki signals for Daniel to move along with his hands."Anyways...?"

"Oh, and apparently you're half-angel. And my question for you was this, would you go to heaven and have ya wings purified or, would you rather stay here even if it means you won't be purified?"

Chisaki shrugs. "Which ever means I can protect Asia."

"I mean you could either way. I'd ask Sir Micheal about how long the process would take." I nod towards the magic circle where Micheal awaits his answer.

Chisaki stands, a bit wobbly, but he stands. "Lord Micheal?" He calls out, not receiving a reply. "As much as I'd want to, for now at least I'd rather stay here and help protect my friends. Especially after this last scare."

"I see... that is completely understandable, the offer shall remain open if you ever wish to have yourself made into a half-Angel."

Chisaki bows. "Thank you."

The magic circle closes. Daniel smirks walking away leaving Chisaki and Irina in the yard to do what they wish. It's the end to a damned week and he's happy it's over.

'Hopefully now I can return to focusing on school and being a normal human again.'

We all know that's not possible for long.
