Andrew where were you ? - asked Peter as I entered home . I was very tired as it had been a hectic day for me so far .

Had some work at office - said I with a tiring look .

Dont lie , I called to your office and they said me that you had left by 4 pm itself . What is it that you are hiding from me Andrew , just tell me . Maybe I can help you - said he placing his hand on my shoulder .

At once I thought to tell Peter everything that had happened today but then I decided not to . I dint have to drag him in all this mess, thought I and remained silent .

So you are not telling me ? - asked he with an annoyed voice .

Peter please , it's my problem and I can solve it . I don't want to involve you in this - said I and left to my room .

I knew that he would be upset with my behaviour but I had no other option but to keep him away from all this . He had already done a lot for me and I could not put his liFe in danger .

I kept thinking about what the word PEET meant . It seemed a short form of some word but I couldn't figure it out. I kept drawing out possible words to arrive to a solution of what it meant but no word was appropriate . I now had only one way to get out of this and that was I had to visit ray's channel and colleagues .

I planned to go there tomorrow as today was already a very tiring day for me .

The next morning, I woke up fast and had a quick bath after which I moved downstairs to have my breakfast .

Andrew what's your plan today ? I was thinking that why not we go out for a week , it would be a change of mind for you - asked Peter .

No Peter I don't want to go anywhere as I am just held up with lots of assignments which I have to complete by this month -said I and left the dining table . I picked up my bag and headed towards my car . Though I had told everyone that I was going to office but it was nothing so as I had to visit ray's workplace today.

I reached her office in a while and stepped in ,

Where is Charles cabin - asked I to the receptionist .

Go straight and turn in the first left sir , you will find him in the last room - said the receptionist .

Ok thank you - said I and walked off in search of charles cabin. I followed the instructions of the receptionist and finally reached his cabin . He was in some call , I knocked the door from outside and he gestured me to come in and sit . I came in and sat and waited for him to end the call . I guess he was speaking to his son .

Listen to me peet .... There is no need for you to go for the squash practice today . Tell them that your not well - said he over the phone .

Peet ? This was the same name that I had seen yesterday . Liza was continuously writing this , is Charles son related to ray's  murder , thought I and decided to ask charles about his son . I had to first gather all the informations about his son . As soon as he kept the phone ,

Peet ? Who is that ?-asked I to him

My son peter, we call him peet its his short name , he wanted to go for his squash practice today but I refused to allow him to go as he was not well since morNing - said he .

But why are you asking about him - continued he

No just like that - said I and continued ,

Has your son visited your office anytime - asked I

Yes he has , a couple of times and ray was very close to him . They shared a good bonding , like soul brother and sister . -said he and started smiling .

I still can't believe that ray is not with us , she was such a sweet and a kind hearted girl- said he .

I nodded my head and asked him if I can come to his home as I had something personal to talk with him , and he agreed to it . I told him that I would be coming tonight to his house and he gave me his address .

I somewhere had a strong feeling that charles son was related to all this , and this was the best opportunity for me to gather evidences against him for which it was important to get into his house and this was the sole reason that I had maDe such stories before charles . I wanted him to invite me to his house and it happened . I walked out of his room and headed to ray's cabin . It was just 2 cabins ahead .I entered the cabin and locked it from inside so that no one could disturb me . I started looking in for something unusual in her room .

I started looking into her drawer and found a  letter  , I read it .

Hey ray , how are you baby this is peter . I want to tell you something through this letter , the day I saw you for the first time in your office my heart skipped a beat . I know that you are already committed to Andrew but please give me a chance so that I can prove myself better than him . I can give you all the happiness in this world . Trust me , leave Andrew and come to me or else I even know other ways to bring you to me . If you want me to stay calm then agree to marry me or else you have no idea of what and all can I do to get you . Especially your Andrew , he will breathe his last if you disagree to my proposal . If you really want him to be safe then start loving me and marry me . You don't have to be mine for a lifetime but just one night is all I want . One night as my wife in my bed . After I fulfill all my dreams with you , you can leave the very next morning to Andrew and I won't stop you I promise .

The name was incomplete but still I knew that it was peter , maybe it was torn and the other part was with the killer himself . Now everything started to become clear . The words of charles kept rolling in my head . He had said that his son peter had visited the office a couple of times and he bonded well with ray . As far as I knew , my friend peter never came knew the office in which ray worked . So the only option fitting in this mystery is Charles son and I could confirm this tonight , thought I . I kept the letter safely in my bag and searched for some other clues in the room when I spotted a pendrive in the same drawer . I took the pendrive and decided to play it peacefully at home as office was not the right place . I took only the pendrive and the letter from her cabin and found everything else usual . These two were the only unusual things .

I left the office and travelled back home . I went to my room and closed the door from inside , I took my laptop ,switched it on and installed the pendrive . There were a few files in it and in one folder there was a video . I connected my headphones , It was ray in it . I played the video but it showed as ERROR IN PLAYING .

Just as the error occurred my phone beeped , it was charles message.

I am sorry , will not be able to meet you today at home as I am held with an overtime duty in office. We will definetly meet tomorrow evening at my residence- messaged he .

Shit I had to wait for one more day to get to the culprit ,thought i . I was very upset already as the video was not playing and now the plan of meeting charles also got cancelled .

  I strongly felt that this video could help me reach till the killer but it was not playing . I tried several times and got completely  fed up at the end . I took the pendrive out and closed my laptop and decided to have a small nap. I cleaned my bed and lay on it closing my eyes .

RAT- A- TAT- TAT -TAT -TAT- TAT  , someone knocked the door powerfully . I immediately woke up in the intensity of that sound , but I could not hear it anymore . Was it a dream ?, Thought I .

The sound had alarmed me completely and my sleep was completely gone now . It was midnight 12 and I was sitting on my bed like an owl . By 12:30 i felt a bit sleepy , I lay slowly on my bed looking around me for the one last time.

Baby what are you doing this late night - asked I putting my hands around her neck .

Andrew I have to submit this presentation tomorrow . I am sorry but not today, please sleep . You don't have to stay awake with me - said she removing my hands off .

Ray this is not fair , just once please - said I letting my hands into her tops and sliding it all over her belly .

Andrew no , not now -said she turning angrily towards me . I kissed her immediately on her lips giving her no time to react .

You are not going to listen to me ? - asked she placing her hands on my chest trying to stop me from coming even more closer .

No I won't - said I running my hands in her bare legs . They were so smooth that I couldn't resist from letting my hands go throughout her legs . I pulled her legs thus forcing her to come closer to me .

Baby please - said she as I brought my face more closer to hers and bent down to kiss on the mole in her belly . She groaned for a second . I slowly came up to kiss on her neck and then moved up to meet her lips . I kissed her harder than the previous one and switched off the lights with one hand . And then the rest of night went off with us making love .

RAT -A- TAT- TAT-TAT-TAT-TAT- TAT , the door was being knocked even more loudly now . I woke up in a sudden shock , my beautiful dream got interrupted by this sound . After a long time, I had such a beautiful dream which had my ray in it and this sound spoiled it all .

RAT- A - TAT-TAT -TAT- TAT- TAT, once again the door knocked but this time it was continuously being knocked . Fear swept all over me . I slowly walked towards the door as it was still being knocked and that too very hardly.

Who is it ? - asked I in a fear filled voice as I stepped near to the door . I placed my hand on the knob of the door and opened it slowly .

Sir - stood my maid outside the door .

Is this the time to knock someone's room ? What is it ? - asked I fuming in anger .

I am sorry sir but your mom has high fever - said she

What ? - said I in a shock and immediately went to moms room .

Are you alright mom ? What happened suddenly - said I while entering the room . The room was completely dark I switched on the light and was shocked to see my mom sleeping well. Then why did that maid say like that , thought i and walked to my room to confess her .

? Why did you lie ? Mom is fine and sleeping well then why did you say that she was unwell - asked I while she remained silent and was doing something with my clothes .

What are you with my clothes - said I and came forward in anger to see what she was doing . I stood stunned to see that she was scribbling the name Peet in my shirt . I immediately stepped a few steps back .

Ray ? - called I . She started scribbling more faster now .

Ray ? - called I again as I placed my hands on her shoulder .

She turned towards me immediately with all her hair flying off her face .

Liza - screamed I ,

Hahah not Liza , it's ray - said her spirit and suddenly brought her face closer to me . Her face was full of bruises and filled with blood that I could not see it for more than 5 seconds , I immediately closed my eyes . She let her hand through my chest with her big nails scratching my chest .

Aaaaaaahhhhhh....mm - screamed I in pain as it was very painful . She slowly came to my neck and grabbed it hard thus not letting me scream . She lifted me by holding my neck and threw me on the mirror . The mirror crashed into peices and so did my back . I could not feel my back as the throw had so much force in it .

I will kill him - said she

Who will you kill - asked I

Peet .....- said she and before I could ask her if he was related to charles she was nowhere .

Ray where are you , my questions are not yet over - shouted I in pain and broke down crying .
