It's been a week now since the death of Ray . All the fingers were pointed towards me and all the evidences were also against me . I was finding it difficult to prove myself innocent . My friend Peter was always there by my side as my shadow and was trying to gather as many clues so that I get proved innocent . I remained mum and refused to speak to any of my family members and also to move out of my house because wherever I go these days I find ray . She is everywhere , it's like she wants to tell me something or maybe she's following me .

Elsa can I come to your agency today afternoon - asked I to Elsa over the phone . She was the one who agreed to help me the previous day while I was enquired by the police .

Yes of course Andrew come to my agency by 2pm in the afternoon - said she .

Ok thank you , I will be there on time - said I and cut the phone .

Where are you going Andrew ? - asked Peter who was standing near the door .

Aah .... Actually yesterday I met a woman from a detective agency . Her name is Elsa and she after hearing my case assured me that she would help me out , so I am off to meet her by 2pm in the afternoon in her agency - said I .

Ok then even I will accompany you , where is the agency and what is the agency name ?- asked Peter .

Tangent Detective agency .- said I and continued ,

But I don't want you to accompany me Peter please . I know you care for me but trust me I am ok and I have to fight this all alone and unless I find out what actually happened that night I am not going to sit peacefully . You keep yourself out of all this , whenever I need your help I will let you know - said I and started in my car to the agency .

The agency was 30 minutes away from my house , I had to reach there as soon as possible and hence I drove fast so that I could  reach on time .

There it is Tangent Detective agency said I as I spotted the building . It was a 32 storey building and was huge . I parked my car and immediately called Elsa to know the floor number .

Hello Elsa I am here in your agency . Which floor do i have to come.- asked I

Superb , come to the 18th floor and you can ask anyone there , they will guide you to my cabin . - said she and cut the phone .

I quickly got into the lift and in 5 minutes I landed in the 18th floor .

Excuse me , where can I meet Elsa ?,-asked I to a woman passing by .

Go straight and you will find her in the last room - said the woman .

Thank you - said I as the woman kept moving .

It was quiet a busy agency , every other person there were  with their clients or phones or computers . All the people there were busy solving different  mysteries .

I reached the end ,  and found Elsa sitting in the last room . I knocked the door of cabin .

May I come in -, asked I

Of course come in Andrew - said she after looking at me .

Please take your Seat - said she and continued ,

Would you like to have something -,asked she .

No nothing , I am just here to get some  help from you - said I

Ya definitely. I am also here to help you ,so tell me about your relationship with ray from the beginning ?- asked she .

Ray and I were childhood friends , our families were related to each other as our father's were good friends and also business partners . Everything was good till 3 years back but then some issues between our fathers arose because of which we split . Ray's family shifted to New York city and also our business got shut down. We were facing a lot of financial crisis and so were Ray's family as it was a partnership business . At that time I received a call from the los Angeles army saying that they need a person who can shoot well . I had actually applied for this job 2 years back when I started pursuing my shooting career and I was very excited that I had got selected for the next round . Everything was going fine and I was also selected as a gun shooter as well as a weapons instructor as I was an expert in that . Whereas Ray on the other hand established herself as a successful journalist in AVC channel . Though our families got seperated but still we never lost contact with each other . We kept talking through social medias and also over the phone at times . Over the time period of 3 years both me and ray had developed a soft corner for each other in our hearts . I started liking her and soon this like got converted to love . I feared to tell it to her as I dint know what was running in her head . She had gotten into my head very badly , I couldn't stay without talking to her and one day I decided to propose her for marriage . I left to New York to speak to her face on face . I gathered the address of her channel and went to meet her as soon as I landed in New York  . It was already 6 months of me meeting her and I was excited to meet her . I walked into her channel office and asked a few people about her whereabouts and they showed me the way to her cabin . I quickly went to her cabin , held her hand giving her no time to speak and brought her out of her office . She kept asking me of what was the matter but I refused to reply any of her questions. I forced her to get into the taxi and we headed to the Brooklyn bridge . This place was said to be the best place to propose and hence I decided to take her there . As soon as we reached the place ,

Two and a half years back:

Why have you brought me here Andrew ? And when did your come here . It's so good to see you , you have no idea of how much I had been missing you - said Ray and hugged me tight .

Ray I want to tell you something - said I by taking out the proposal ring From my pocket .

Yes tell me - said she as I went down on my knees in the middle of the bridge and everyone's eyes were stuck on me .

What are you doing Andrew ?- asked she quiet surprised .

Ray , I can't tell you of how much I missed you these 6 months . I never knew that I loved you until you left me . As they say that distance bring hearts closer , the same has happened to me . I love you ray and I want to marry you . Will you marry me - asked I lifting the ring to her . I could see a kind of happiness in her face as if she wanted to hear this from me long back .

How much have you made me wait to hear these magical words . Yes Andrew I had been loving you for long but I always feared to lose you . I did not have the courage to tell you how much I loved you . I never knew of how would you react if I proposed you . I just dint want to spoil our beautiful relationship and so I remained silent . And yes I will marry you and I love you - said she raising her hand for the ring and I immediately pierced the ring in her finger . I stood up and our lips met . I held her tight and kissed her hard .

Present day ,

After the proposal we decided to stay with each other as a live in . We wanted to spend as much time as possible with each other and thus we shifted to los Angeles as I had already bought a house there as a future saving . We started our new life in Los Angeles , ray also got transferred to the los Angeles branch of her channel . On the whole, everything was set until that night which came and  shattered everything . - said I and started crying .

Ok so from this I can say that you both loved each other a lot , but did she have any other affair ?- asked Elsa .

No Elsa , as far as I know I don't think she has any . - said I with a confused look . I took a tissue to wipe off my tears .

Which means that you are not sure and there can be chances of she having an affair with someone else - concluded she when a loud sound suddenly came disturbing our conversation . It sounded like some glass breaking down .

I think there's someone who's  listening to us - said I and moved towards the door to find out who it was . I stepped slowly and opened the door  .

There is no one here - said I and continued ,

But look at this , the vase is broken . I think that we were being watched by someone and as soon as that person pushed the vase and listened to our sound , he/she should have ran away from this place . - said I to Elsa .

But why should someone keep an eye on us - asked she .

Maybe it is the person who killed ray or someone who was related to that murder . - said I

You mean to say that someone is having a watch over you and does not want you to get over the murderer - asked she .

Aahmm yes I think so - said I and continued ,

We must meet in different places after this - said I .

Ok and one more thing , do not tell to anyone , even your friends of where we are meeting and what are we planning - said Elsa . The murderer is very clever and is behind you every time to learn your plan . So you got to be careful with your action . Watch your step every time - said she and continued .

And for today this is enough , you can tell me of what happened that night in our next time , until then I will enquire with ray's friends if she had any personal rivalry with anyone or if she had any affair with anyone . I will call you someday to confirm our next meet but for now you should leave this place . - said she .

Ok Elsa , I will leave - said I and left her cabin .

I was so curious to know about the person who had  killed ray . Who had so much of rivalry with me ?. Why was I targeted for this murder ? Who was the one behind all this mess ? . All these questions remained unanswered and I wanted an answer for them.

Where have you been the entire evening ? Is this the time to come home Andrew ? I know you are stressed of ray's death but there's a limit . You have to talk to us , stop staying alone and punishing yourself for the  crime which your haven't done . - said my mom as I entered the house .

Let's eat come on- said she by holding my hands and taking me till the dining table .

We all ate our food together but I was in such a state that I had no time to eat, sleep and relax . I had to find the culprit behind ray's murder and also I had to prove myself innocent .
