Q. What motivated you to start writing your story? Do you enjoy writing or is it more of a chore for you?

A. I have been writing for as long as I can remember, but I was never serious about any of my past works. I actually began the writing process of my most recent book as a project for a novel-writing class I took about a year ago. It started out as a book with a weak plot and cliché characters, but throughout this past year, I have worked hard to improve it.

I greatly love and enjoy writing. As an introvert, writing is a way for me to express myself. There are days when I am full of ideas and can’t be dragged away from my laptop, but there are also days when I can’t even bring myself to sit down and write because I have no ideas or inspiration. We all have those days, I guess.

Q. How did you stumble upon Wattpad? Have you always known about it?

A. I heard about Wattpad through a few online friends as a great place to read and write books. I looked into it a little bit more and thought that I’d give it a shot. I joined 9 months ago and I have loved every minute of being apart of the Wattpad community. I have made many wonderful friends who have given me great feedback on my works and have showed wonderful support.

Q. Who is your favourite writer on wattpad so far? And which book drew you to them?

A. I actually have two favorite Wattpad authors so far. @AerisIsMe and @Ellethwen2931.
The book “I’ll Wait For You” by AerisIsMe was one of the first books I’ve read on Wattpad. It tore my heart and made me cry with joy at the same time. The writing style was lovely and the book was a joy to read! The book “Promises” by Ellethwen2931 is a part of a Lord of the Rings fan fiction series and also moved me to tears. I mean, it’s so well written. I can literally feel what the characters are feeling! I love being able to experience what the characters are going through.

Q. What is your aim for your wattpad career? Anything specific you would like to achieve?

A. I want to be a published author with a completed work. Right now, my current book is still a WIP, but since I joined Wattpad, I have been encouraged to stick with my story and not toss it out like so many of my past books.
 I want what I’m passionate about to make an impression on people who read my books. I want to inspire them and show that anything is possible if you have the determination and passion to carry out your dreams.

Q. Tell us something interesting about yourself that your readers may not know!

A. I am the oldest of seven children and I love music from artists like Celtic Woman, Hayley Westenra, Enya, and Eurielle. I also love to read old classics from authors like Jane Austen, and Charlotte Brontë. My favorite books are Pride and Prejudice, Sense and Sensibility, and Emma. I am also an avid Disney fan. Beauty and the Beast, Cinderella, Frozen, Frozen 2, and Sleeping Beauty are among my all time faves!❤️

Q. How did you choose your wattpad username? Was it challenging or did it just come easily?

A. My username is based off my name so it just came easily. I wanted something that would be easy to remember.

Q. Can you name some accounts that have improved your wattpad experience? Eg: friends you may have met here!

A. That’s easy! I’ve made many friends! @WriterNMarie @Liara_Thomas @AnnieCat16 @leelifoster @AuthorJMColes @queen_of_thought @ButterflyWriter13 and @PrincessNichole77714 and many more!

Q. What is your favourite thing about being on wattpad?

A. Hands down, the community. I’ve gotten so many helpful critiques and suggestions on my book. I was also comforted and encouraged by many when I was going through a rough time.

Q. How did you decide on the plot and title of your current book? Tell us!

A. As I said in the first question, I started my book “A Journey To Courage” as a novel class project. Once the class ended, I decided to try NaNoWriMo. (National Novel Writing Month) It’s a challenge to write an entire book in a month every November. I worked hard on my ideas all year until I perfected my plot and got the book to where it is now.

Q. Is there anything else you would like to say to the audience ?

A. No matter how difficult the path to achieving your dream may seem, keep pressing on and charge through the hardships. Yes, you may doubt yourself and your abilities as a writer, but just know that you, and only you, can tell your story. No one else can create your world but you.
