Chapter 31
Theo's POV
What... was going on right now?
"I can't believe your friends with Maddox Zane, Theo!" Emily said, in disbelief as Ben and Marcus agree.
"Why didn't you say anything when we watched him fight?" Marcus asked, as I shifted uncomfortably in my seat.
Ugh, Maddox had just left for the toilet, and the moment he was behind the men's bathroom doors, everyone has started asking questions about Maddox, just like now.
Not to mention people had noticed Maddox the moment he came inside the bar, when he bought drinks for everyone, the woman behind the bar asked for a photo with him, and because Maddox was nice, he took a photo with her, and some others.
"It's not that big of a deal... he's my trainer and... uh we kind of became f-friends..." I mumble out, as they look at me like I grew two heads.
"I heard he worked as a trainer, holy shit." Ben sat back, eyes wide and still in shock that I knew Maddox.
"He's so hot, I can't believe I shouted that I was his biggest fan." Emily sank in her seat, her face red as she hid behind her hands.
I laughed nervously as I sipped my drink, a mango cocktail Maddox picked for me, it wasn't that bad, but I was starting to get a little tipsy with how much alcohol was inside it.
It's no secret Maddox had a lot of people interested in him, not only fans, but women in particular, he had a sexy body, and he was incredibly handsome, he had money and he had tattoos that added to his mystery bad boy vibe he gave off.
I'll admit, it made me uncomfortable when girls looked at him, like they had a chance, I knew he was dating me, but it was times like this where I wondered the most... if I was enough for him.
I saw Maddox come out of the men's toilets and almost instantly he gets cornered by a couple of girls that looked like they went to the same university as me, it looked like they were asking him for something as they took their phones out, I saw Maddox shake his head and then smile as he walked past them.
His eyes meet mine and he smiles as he walks back over to our table, where people are now shamefully looking over at, almost like we didn't have ears and couldn't hear what they were saying.
"Sorry, I didn't expect it to be this bad." Maddox said, as he sat back down next to me at our table.
My friends wave him off and look at him dreamily as I felt Maddox's leg touch mine under the table, making my neck feel hot as my heartrate spiked.
"It must get pretty annoying, all these people sneaking photos of you." Ben whispers, as Maddox looked around and shrugged.
"Unfortunately, it comes with the territory."
"It's not like I can go over and smash their phones anymore." He joked casually, as I saw from the corner of my eye as people start to lower their phones.
Woah... he looked so intimidating right now, despite smiling, I felt chills go down my spine as the strangers who were looking over at us now looked around awkwardly, as they stopped looking over to our table.
"How's your drink?" Maddox asks me, nudging me with his shoulder as he looks at my drink.
"O-Oh." I swallow hard. "It's nice, but I don't think I should drink anymore..." I say, despite putting the glass to my lips to drink the rest of it, not wanting to waste a drink he bought me.
"So, Maddox, do you have a girlfriend? Emily asked, as I almost choked on my drink.
"Emily... you can't just ask him that." Marcus cringes out as Ben shakes his head, laughing.
I felt Maddox's hand brush against my leg as he hummed out, making me freeze as his hand rests on my leg under the table, whilst everyone is totally unaware at what he was doing.
"Not exactly." He said, as his hand squeezed my thighs, making me blush.
Emily looked at me funny before she smiled. "Theo has a girlfriend but he's being so shy about her, he hasn't even introduced her to us yet."
"Have you met her, Maddox?" She asks Maddox, whose hand was rising slowly up my leg, until he rested his hand above my growing erection, that was starting to swell in my pants as I tried to keep a straight face.
"No." He took a drink of his cocktail and smirked, "I haven't."
This was so embarrassing, they were talking about me like I wasn't here, and Maddox was messing with me while he played along with Emily, who I was sure was teasing me.
Suddenly, I heard Maddox's phone ring silently in his pocket, he moved his hand from my leg and checked to see who it was, I caught a glimpse and saw that it was his cousin ringing him, Aiden I think he was called.
I thought Maddox would answer it, but instead he hung up on him, and put his phone back in his pocket.
That was strange, I thought him, and his cousin were really good friends?
Did they get into a fight? Maddox didn't say anything to me about it, so probably not.
Then, out of the blue, one of the women from behind the bar comes over to our table, or should I say she comes directly over to Maddox and gives him a drink, with an umbrella in that looked like it had numbers on it.
With that, she bent down and whispered something in his ear I didn't catch, and then walks away, making everyone at the table turn and watch her go with amazement on their faces, but me.
I expected this... but it still hurt.
"Wow, I want her confidence." Emily said, as I swallowed the lump in my throat as everything starting to feel as if it was getting louder inside the bar, from the voices to the clanking of chairs.
I felt sick, and I hated that I was acting like this.
"One second, I'll be right back." Maddox said, before he stood up and took the drink the girl brought over with him, as me and the rest of my friends watched in confusion as he walked over to the bar the girl was at.
"W-What is he doing?" Ben asked, as I watched him go over to her and say something, placing the drink down on the bar.
From the look on the girl's face, whatever Maddox said to her must've been rough, as once he turns around, she disappears in the back room, looking embarrassed as her face goes bright red.
What did he say to her?
Maddox walked back over to our table like nothing happened as his eyes land on mine, and just like that, everything felt normal again, and despite feeling a little bit sorry for the girl, I was actually starting to feel better.
"Is everything a-alright?" I ask him as he smiles handsomely at me as he sits back down next to me, everyone in the bar now whispering amongst themselves as they saw what he just did.
"Yeah, why wouldn't it be?"
"I can't believe you just did that, does that happen often?" Marcus asked Maddox as I turned to look at Maddox, who looked unaffected by everyone in the room now talking about him.
Maddox just shrugged and then drank the rest of his drink, then he turned and looked at me, his eyes swirling with mischief before he turns back to my friends.
"It happens a lot but since I'm driving, I couldn't accept it, I just made sure she understood."
We were all left speechless as he came out with it so casually, I didn't expect this from Maddox, who looked like he was used to the attention, but it seems like I'm seeing another side of him then he usually showed me.
I felt proud and respected, he didn't accept her number and he shut her down before I felt even more crappy about myself.
Me, and my friends enjoyed drinks for another hour, we had eventually got carried away once Emily suggested we try each and every drink, which we did and to our complete surprise, we got really drunk.
Cocktails were no joke, they tasted so nice that we had completely forgot all about the alcohol that was inside them, but Maddox didn't, as he watched on with an amused look on his face.
"I'll call you later Theo." Emily drunkenly slurred, as Marcus held her up while Ben called a cab for them to head back home.
I felt wobbly on my feet and Maddox had left to go pay the bill, I started to feel guilty the moment he offered, after all, this wasn't why he wanted to come, to just watch me and my friends get drunk.
Dammit, did I screw this up?
I'm so drunk I can't even see straight... but the moment I see Maddox come through the doors of the bar, I can't help but check him out, even if I am seeing two of him.
Two of Maddox's... I'd surely die in the best way possible.
"You really are such a lightweight, Theo." He said, laughing huskily as he helps me stand.
"No... I'm not, I just underestimated things." I said, frowning as Emily giggled.
"Oh, our rides here." Ben said, as I waited with them until the car pulled over and Ben helped Emily inside.
"Theo, are you coming?" Marcus asks, as Ben got into the front seat with the driver, and Marcus kept the back door open as he got inside to sit down.
I looked at Maddox and then back to Marcus and shook my head. "N-No, I'll be back tomorrow, M-Maddox and I have plans later."
Marcus looks at me weirdly but then nods his head and smiles. "Okay, text me tomorrow."
"Nice to meet you, and thank you for the drinks, sorry you had to pay..." Marcus blushed, as he thanked Maddox.
Maddox smiled back and shook his head as he stepped forward and closed the taxi door for Marcus. "No problem, nice to meet you all too, get back safe, yeah?" He said before my friends all said bye to Maddox, and me.
With a tap on the taxi car hood, Maddox stepped back as the taxi drove off, Maddox came over to me and looked at my face, which felt hot in the cool air outside, already knowing it's because of the alcohol making me warm.
"Stop laughing at me." I grumble out, as he helps me walk over to where he parked, with his hand around my waist.
I accidently brushed my face against his jacket as we began walking, and there was just something I couldn't help but notice and hold back a groan as I try to not think about it.
He smelled so good... Did he always smell this good?
It was making me feel weird...
"Come on, you're completely wasted."
Maddox helped me in his car once he unlocked it, and then he buckled me in, he went around the front of the car and got into the driver's seat, and once he started the car, everything started to feel fuzzy.
I don't remember closing my eyes, but once I opened them again, we weren't in the car anymore, but I was laid on a comfortable big bed, and something felt weird between my legs.
When I opened my eyes and looked down, I saw what that weird feeling was as I saw Maddox between my legs, with his mouth around my erection.
....What the?
"You're finally awake." He said against my member, as his thick, rough tongue licked the tip of my erection.
I didn't know how this happened, but his tongue felt so good, the last thing I remembered was sitting in his car, but... how long ago was that? I don't even remember getting back to his place.
Maddox moved from between my legs and then looked down at me, making it feel like all the air left the room as soon as he slowly started to lift his t-shirt from over his head, displaying his sexy and wide muscled chest, covered in tattoos.
"Don't even think about falling asleep on me again." He said, sending chills down my stomach, as his dark eyes looked over my hungrily, before he grabbed hold of my legs, his eyes on mine.
"You asked for this, I hope you're ready Theo, because I won't stop, even if you beg me."
The room fell silent as I ponded just what he meant by his words, his voice so deep and promising, his eyes filled with hunger.
I was dumbfounded, I didn't remember anything but from the look on Maddox's face, I knew I was doomed because once I saw the outline of his large erection pressing hard against his jeans, I paled.
Just what the hell did I say to him to make him like this?
