Chapter 3.
After a few days, William was allowed to go home. Erin helped him around and did everything for him. Eric was still quiet and upset. When they got to the house, Erin immediately got out, opened William's door, helped him out, grabbed his crutches and placed them under his armpits.
"Thanks." William smiled as they started going up the driveway.
"No problem Billy." Erin said smiling.
Erin and William were in the back of the small parade. Eric and Karly were in the front. The youngest member of the family just went straight in while Karly held the door for the currently disabled and his helper. As soon as they got in, Erin placed him on the couch. He sat down and she propped the crutches up on the armrest. William laid down on the couch and Erin kissed his forehead.
"Get some rest Billy." She whispered.
William nodded and drifted off to sleep.

(A/N. I am calling William Billy in this scene because it involves his dad and his name is also William.)
When Billy woke up from his nap, he heard his mom saying with anger in her voice.
"You are not coming in this house. I divorced you for a reason."
Then he heard a male voice saying.
"He is my son and he is injured, let me see him."
'Crap.' Billy thought to himself. That voice was his dad's.
"He is my son also, and I said no." Karly insisted.
A few minutes of voice raising and yelling, he finally heard his mom saying.
"Two minutes. If you do not leave afterwards, I will call the police."
hitche saw his dad walk in the room.
"Hey Billy. Are you ok?" His dad asked.
"I don't know. Was I ok when you spent my money on your stupid girlfriend?" Billy demanded.
"Billy, we don't need to bring up old memories that weren't so pleasant. I just came to check on you." William explained.
"Well, I'm fine. Erin has named herself my servant. Now get out of my mom's house." Billy demanded.
"Are you sure you are alright?" William asked.
"Yes, but if you don't get out, I will make sure you are not." Billy threatened.
"William Brent Unger, do not ever speak to me that way again. Me and your mother may be divorced, but I am still your father and you will show me respect." William explained in a harsh tone.
Suddenly, Karly came in the room with William yelling at Billy and Billy getting ready to get off the couch and start fighting him. Karly had to break this up.
"Two minutes are up William. Get out." Karly explained.
William left the house without another word.
(A/N, he is William again now.)
"Honey, I am so sorry about that. Believe me when I say I didn't want him to come here." Karly explained.
"I know mom. It's fine." William said.
"Honey, you can't fight with your father every time you see him. That is just asking for trouble." Karly explained as she put her arm around her injured son.
"I know. I'm just really mad at him. I'll try not to fight with him anymore." William said.
"Good. I gotta get to work on dinner. I'm making your favorite." Karly said with a smile as she walked into the kitchen.
Then the doorbell rang. Erin opened it to see Angela.
"Hey Angela! Come on in!" Erin invited.
Angela came over and sat down beside William.
"Hey baby. Has Eric talked to you since the hospital?" Angela asked.
"No. He won't even talk to me. It's weird. It's like he's hiding something." William explained.
"Oh um. They didn't tell you, did they?" Angela asked.
"Tell me what?" William asked cautiously.
"That so they don't get behind with Elite Force, your brother is doing your role till you are back on the show." Angela explained.
"Why didn't they tell me? I bet this is what he is hiding from me." William said as he laid back down on the couch.
Angela snuggled up with him on the couch.
"Has anything else happened today?" Angela asked.
"My dad came and he and I got into a fight." William said.
"I'm sorry baby." Angela said as she started stroking his hair.
"It's fine." William said quietly, then gripped the couch pillow in pain.
"You ok?" Angela asked.
"Yeah, just my knee." William admitted as he gripped the pillow again.
"I'll go get your pain meds." Erin said as she got up from her chair.
Then William's cellphone rang. He grabbed it and opened it.
"Hello?" He asked.
"Billy? It's Kelli. I just wanted to check on you. Are you doing alright?" Kelli asked.
"Yeah. I'm ok. Why didn't anyone tell me about Eric taking over my role for awhile?" William asked.
"We thought he was gonna tell you." Kelli admitted.
"Oh ok. Wanna come over for dinner? We're having steak." William told her.
"Sure. See you then." Kelli said.
"Bye Kelli." William said, then hung up.
"What was that about?" Angela asked.
"Kelli is coming over for dinner, I'm gonna tell my mom." William said as he grabbed his crutches.
"Oh no mister. I will tell mom. You take your pain meds and stay right here." Erin said as she handed him his medicine and a glass of water.
"Ok bossy." William teased as he took the pills.
"You behave." Erin teased as she went into the kitchen.
Angela snuggled up to William again and he turned on The Avengers.
