(Aka POV)

To be completely honest, I have no idea where I am. I know I'm in some sort of palace... watching out a window alongside Emerald and Mercury. We were watching Grimm emerge from weird black puddles. Both Emerald and Mercury looked almost disgusted for some reason, but I couldn't understand why.

Metal Rose: You three. Over here.

We turned around as my sister called to us. She was sitting at a long table with other people I didn't recognize. Well... I did sorta recognize my master, Cinder. Just like me, her body was decimated by some brat. 

Thinking about what happened that day, I balled up my fist and got to my sister's side as Emerald and Mercury got to Cinder's side. There were other sitting with us. To my master's right was a man who looked a bit creepy and had a long ponytail. I think his name was Tyrian. My little sister, Metal Rose, was to my left. She was made just recently so she's still new and looks almost like Ruby. On the other end of the table was a man that looked like Sonic, only with green hair. I believe his name was Scourge... I think I saw info of him in the Death Egg and from what I hear, he somehow gained a semblance. To his left was a guy with a dumb-looking mustache and his scroll in his hand. His name was Watts and I hated him the most. To Scourge's left was a more muscular man named Hazel, who looked more reliable than everyone else... except my father and master of course. 

As Mercury and Emerald moved to Cinder's side, Emerald nudged Mercury out of her way so that she can be directly next to Cinder.

Watts: Yes, yes, please keep your posse in check.

Mercury grunted and made a move toward Watts, but Emerald held him back.

Watts: You hear that? Silence.

Hazel gave him an unimpressed glance.

Watts: I've half a mind to thank the little girl that bested you. Maybe she should finish the job and deal with the egg fellow too.

Metal Rose looked at him. You could hardly tell she was mad.

Metal Rose: I would appreciate it if all disrespect among the Doctor would be at a minimum.

Watts: And why should it? Do you really expect me to acknowledge someone who doesn't even bother to show his face?

Metal Rose: The doctor doesn't believe being here is worth his time. Therefore, he sent me to take his place.

Tyrian turned his attention to Cinder.

Tyrian:  If I were you, I'd hunt her down, find her, and, well, she took your eye, didn't she?

Cinder only stared at Tyrian while he cackled at her. She tried to speak but only managed to make quiet exhaling noises. Emerald leaned in to hear her.

Watts: Pathetic. Why did you even-

The sound of the heavy metal door at the end of the room being unlatched was heard. The door opened and everyone stood up as a tall lady dressed In black entered the room. This was Salem, and from my guess, she was in charge of everything. She glided alongside the table with soft footsteps before reaching the head of it, jewels jangling from her hair. Salem stopped, facing away from them and toward a candle and crystal display.

Salem: Watts... do you find such malignance necessary?

She gestured for them all to sit back down and everyone obeyed.

Watts: I apologize, ma'am. I'm not particularly fond of failure.

Watts sat down at the same time as Salem, who sat on her own seat.

Salem: Then I see no reason for your cruelty towards young Cinder. She's become our Fall Maiden, destroyed Beacon Tower, and most importantly, killed dear Ozpin. So I'm curious, to what failures are you referring?

Watts: Well, the girl with the Silver Eyes.

Hazel: Yes. We've dealt with their kind before. How is it a novice was able to best one of us?

Watts: My thoughts exactly.

Scourge: Gotta agree with Luigi over here too. I've been keeping an eye on the same girl and she's not too tough. Even without her maiden powers, it should have been a breeze.

Salem: It is because of the Maiden's power. Make no mistake, Cinder, you hold the key to our victory. But your newfound strength brings with it a crippling weakness. Which is why you will remain by my side as we continue your treatment.

Master looked unhappy about this as she lowered her head. Emerald and I looked at her with sympathy.

Salem: Dr. Watts, you are to take Cinder's place and meet with our informant in Mistral.

Watts: Very good.

Salem: Tyrian, I want you and Metal Rose to hunt for the Spring Maiden.

Tyrian: With pleasure

Metal Rose: I shall inform the professor and make arrangements as soon as possible.

Salem: And Hazel, I'm sending you and Scourge to the leader of the White Fang. Adam Taurus has arranged the meeting. The boy continues to prove loyal. Ensure that Sienna Khan feels the same.

Hazel: As you wish.

Scourge: With the big guy huh?

Master raised a finger. Emerald failed to notice the gesture for a moment.

Emerald: Oh!

She leaned down to hear as Cinder rasped in her ear. Emerald straightened herself.

Salem: Speak, child.

Emerald: She wants to know... about the child...

I heard Emerald hesitate. Though even I want revenge over Sonic. Thanks to him... my face...

Before I could think about it, Watts scoffed.

Watts: What about her?  Seems to me that this is Cinder's problem, not ours.

Cinder slammed her fist onto the table and glared at Watts, who grinned at her.

Salem: That's enough. Tyrian?

Tyrian: Yes, my lady?

Salem: Spring can wait. Find the girl that did this to Cinder.

Tyrian giggles elatedly and claps.

Salem: And bring her to me.

Tyrian freezes, groans disappointedly, pouts for a second, then looks back up at Salem with an acquiescent shrug.

Metal Rose: In that case... Aka, I will leave the talk with Dr.Eggman to you.

Aka: Of course.

Salem: Because of your efforts, Beacon has fallen. And Haven will be next.

Everyone stood up as Tyrian looked at Cinder, pointing at his eye.

Tyrian: Eye for an eye.

As Tyrian laughed maniacally, I grit my teeth. If father didn't order me to behave, I would have slaughtered everyone here. But of course, I calmed down. All I need to do is be quiet... and obedient.

(Sonic POV)

In a green and peaceful forest, I was walking as Jaune, Ren and Nora talked behind me.

Nora: There are more members of JNPR in this team than RWBY and SEGA. It just makes sense to go with that one.

Ren: But JNRRAS (Juniores) isn't a color.

Nora: Neither is SEGA! 

Ren: Still, we are helping Ruby, Sonic, and Amy on their journey. So should it not be SARRJN?

Jaune: Guys!

We turned our attention to Jaune.

Jaune: We need to focus... also, JNRRAS is way cooler.

Nora: Exactly!

Amy: Guys!

Amy suddenly popped up out of nowhere. I forgot to mention this, but somewhere during the time of the attack on Beacon, Amy somehow gained her own semblance. The ability to disappear and reappear wherever she wants. She can do the same to anyone and anything. How she gained it, however... that's a mystery. It also somehow gives her an infinite supply of hammers.

Sonic: Something wrong?

Amy: It's here.

We all heard a sudden rumbling as Ruby was flying in the air from the trees. She was shooting back at where she came from. She was being chased by a body of boulders with a Grimm's face. Ruby fell and crashed into a tree.

Ruby: Bad... landing... strategy...

Ruby landed on a branch as the Grimm tried to swing at her. She quickly jumped away as it swatted a bunch of trees. The rest of us looked up at the Grimm.

Amy: Let's get that thing off her! Jaune, you're with me! Sonic, go help Ruby!

Sonic: Right!

Ren and Nora went to jump on the trees as Amy and Jaune ran towards the Grimm. Ruby dashed towards it in the form of roses before shooting at it and I did a quick spindash at the side of its body. It swung its arm and knocked me back as I landed on my feet.

Sonic: Heh, it's a tough one.

Ren looked at Nora.

Ren: We need to draw its attention from Sonic and Ruby!

Nora nodded and started shooting at the back of the Grimm while Ren jumped from tree to tree. It tried to hit Ren, but he managed to jump and run up his arm. He then jumped high into the air and struck down at the Grimm with his blades but with no effect. He landed on his feet as the Grimm tried to strike at him again. Amy quickly got in front of it, swinging her hammer and knocking the Grimm's arm back. The two of them quickly jumped to Jaune's side.

Jaune: We gotta get in closer!

Ren: My blades don't hurt him!

The blade turned and stood upright.

Nora: Crap!

Ruby: How about this?!

Ruby loaded a magazine with an image of a lightning bolt on its side into Crescent Rose and fired. Electric bolts encased one of the Grimm's arms. The red lines on the arm glow brighter, and the Grimm slams it into the ground, sending everyone flying back. Jaune tumbled along the ground painfully until he hit a boulder between his legs and fell forward.

Jaune: *mimicking in pain*  "You'll be fine without a weapon. You're the strategist."

Everyone else landed on their feet but I was still flying towards Amy. I quickly curl into a spinning ball.

Sonic: Amy!

Amy: Right!

She swung her hammer, launching me straight into the Grimm. It quickly blocked my strike but was still sent back.

Nora: That's it!

Nora dashed forward and tossed Magnhild into the air as it turned into a hammer. The Grimm went to strike at her as Nora swung her hammer and knock its arm away, tearing it apart. The Grimm's body spun as a boulder from its arm was sent flying at her, but Ruby got between them and cut the boulder in two with her scythe. The Grimm then tried to use its other arm to strike at the girls as they jumped away.

Meanwhile, Jaune managed to get up and stretch before noticing and dodging a bunch of boulders.

Jaune: Hey! Be care-

Suddenly, a rock the size of his head hit him and sent him flying into a tree. He shook his head and recovered as he watched the Grimm fail to hit Nora and Ruby. The Grimms' armless shoulder suddenly gained a glowing red circle with a symbol of an eye in the middle. The circle spun around before a black, elongated arm with clawed fingers emerges from it. 

Jaune: Uh oh...

It shoved its new arm into the tree Jaune was leaning against and lifted it from the ground. Jaune quickly ran as it was swinging at him.

Jaune: Its arm is a tree! Its arm is a tree!

Ruby: Big mistake!

Ruby spun Crescent Rose and loaded another magazine into it, this one with imagery of fire on its side. She fired and the flaming projectile swung around to the tree arm. Jaune fist pumped with a smile before the Grimm revealed all that did was make his arm a flaming one. 

Jaune: Big mistake!

The Grimm swung its flaming arm as Jaune was running from it. I pulled out my glove and put it on, summoning Excalibur.

Sonic: Heh, ready?

Excalibur: Of course Master Sonic.

I dashed at the Grimm and did a quick homing attack with my blade spinning around me. We hit the Grimm right in the mask and caused it to stumble to the ground. I landed with Jaune as everyone else gathered around us.

Jaune: Okay, how do we do this?

Excalibur: Its body is too thick to break through.

 Jaune: It doesn't care about its body...

Nora: Plus it can keep making new limbs!

Jaune: But it keeps protecting its face...

Amy: Jaune? Any idea?

Jaune: Ugh, If we knocked all its limbs off at once and went for the...

Jaune had an idea as he went to face the team. The Grimm started to get up.

Jaune: Guys, I got it! We gotta hit it harder!

Ren: ... Is that it?

Jaune: No, seriously. It's trying to keep us from its face. If we kill the limbs, we'll have a shot to kill the whole thing!

Ruby: Alright! Come on, team, let's do this.

Sonic: Right!

Amy: Ren, left! Ruby, right! Sonic, get ready! And Nora!

Nora turned to Amy.

Amy: Smash!

Nora smile and nodded before everyone ran off. The Grimm tried to strike at Jaune and Amy but they both dodged the attack. Ren jumped up and hit it from the left as Ruby hit it from the right. Nora then activated a mechanism that generated a current of electricity across the hammerhead of Magnhild as I stood right behind her, charging my speed. Amy and Jaune waved at the Grimm, running around to make themselves targets. Grimm went after them but quickly changed targets as Ren and Ruby attacked it.

Sonic: Ready?!

Nora charged Magnhild even more and braced her feet.

Nora: Ready!

Sonic: Here we...

Ruby landed right next to Jaune.

Jaune: Give it everything you got!

Ruby nodded and used her semblance to come straight towards us.

Sonic: GO!!!

I dashed at Nora at high speed and Ruby caught me mid-run as we turned into a spiraling red and blue swirl. She quickly released me, increasing her own speed thanks to mine as she caught Nora and the red and pink swirls go right for the tree arm. Ruby sliced the tree in half, opening the way for Nora to hit the mask with Magnhild. The rock body shattered and the ephemeral Grimm rose out of it and flew off. Ruby aimed a shot at it and it turned its face right into the flaming projectile. 

We all got together with a sigh of relief.

Amy: Well, that was easier than it could have been.

Jaune: Another win for team JNRRAS! ... ... ...  Yeah, okay. Ren, I think you're onto something. I-It's just not sounding great anymore.

We all walked back to the small town we found. Before we got inside, Amy took my shoulder and turned me invisible.

Sonic: Aw, do I have to?

Amy: Everyone knows who we are and what we look like. Not a lot of people are accepting of otherworldly beings and the last village proved just that. They think we're the ones who brought Eggman here and are the reason robots are all over the planet. It doesn't help that Metal Sonic attacked some villages and people think you're him.

Sonic: Alright alright fine.

Yeah, the last village we were in was attacked by Metal Sonic. Because of that, they wouldn't let us help them and even threw stones at me and Amy. But I normally just shrug it off. Meanwhile, Amy's become a lot more serious ever since the incident. No... serious isn't the word I'm looking for. But you guys get what I mean. 

I nodded at Amy as she turned invisible too. Looks like the only people that can see her are the ones put under her technique. We followed Ruby and the others into the village as Ruby shook the hand of the Mayor.

Mayor: We truly can't thank you enough.

Ruby: Just doing our job, sir.

Mayor: That Geist had been plaguing our village for weeks. We were beginning to wonder if we'd have to relocate.

Ruby: Well, we are on our way to Mistral. You could always come along with us if you don't feel safe.

Mayor: Ha. I take it you're not from these parts. Anima is a large continent. I'm afraid our people would never survive the long trek to Mistral. It may be safer in the Kingdoms, but we prefer our way of life. I just wish we could pay you more.

Ren: Our previous arrangement is more than enough.

The four of them bowed to the Mayor. Amy did too, though he couldn't see her. We went to a shop next as a burly blacksmith with horns set down some armor.

Blacksmith: There you go, son. It's going to be heavier than what you're used to, but you'll thank me the next time you go up against a set of claws.

Jaune: Wow. That-eh. I don't know what to say.

Blacksmith: Don't gotta say anything! Just put it on! I'll go get the rest.

The Faunus blacksmith turned and went out back.

Sonic: So, what are you waiting for?

Jaune: Oh, uh, right!

Jaune took off his old chestplate.

Jaune: ... Guess I was going to grow out of it eventually.

Ren: A sign of progress.

Jaune: Progress.

Jaune turned around as we saw what was on his jacket. Ruby gasped and tried not to laugh.

Jaune: What is it?

Ruby pointed at the bunny logo on his outfit and laughed out loud.

Ruby: What is that?!

Jaune: What, my hoodie? I've always had this.

Ruby: *snorting* It's got a cute little bunny rabbit!

Ruby laughed even more.

Jaune: It's Pumpkin Pete! You know, from the cereal?

Ruby:  What did you do?! Send in a box top for a prize?

Jaune: Yeah! Fifty!

Ruby laughed hysterically before dropping to the floor. Even I had a hard time trying not to giggle a little.

Ren: Well, I suppose we don't have to grow out of everything.

Ruby chortled from the floor, feet in the air. The blacksmith returned from out back and put Jaunes sword and sheath on the counter.

Blacksmith:  Can't have a Huntsman without his weapon. Made all the modifications you asked for. 

The sheath expanded into a shield.

Blacksmith: That was some fine metal you brought me. Accents the white nicely. Where'd you get it from?

We all looked at gold accents on the shield, the design on the bottom reminiscent of Pyrrha Nikos' circlet.

Jaune: ... From a friend...

We waited outside the shop as Jaune came out wearing the armor. 

Blacksmith: He cleans up alright, don't you think?

Ren: He certainly does.

Nora: I still think a grenade launcher would've really brought the look together.

Ruby: Nothing's gonna stop Team SARRJN now!

Nora: Team JNRRAS!

Ren: Still not a color.

Jaune: It doesn't matter what we're called. As long as we're together.

Blacksmith: You kids sure you won't stick around? You've been real good to this town.

Ruby: Sorry, but we've got another mission.

Nora: Make it to Haven Academy, no matter what.

Ren: We've heard the next village over has a working Airship.

Blacksmith: Mmm, no way to know for sure. Scroll signals were weak enough out here back when Beacon Tower was still up. Haven't heard from Shion Village in a while.

Ruby: Well, there's only one way to find out.

With a wave, we turned and left. The blacksmith waved back and grunted as me and Amy were visible again.

Jaune: Food?

Nora: Check!

Amy: Water?

Nora: Check!

Jaune: How about ammo?

Nora: Locked and loaded! Thank you, Schnee Dust Company!

Amy: Have the map?

Ruby looked down sadly and I put my hand on her shoulder. She looked at me with a smile.

Nora: Ren's got the map!

Ren: No, I don't. You have it.

Nora: Wait, what?

Jaune: Guys, please tell me you're joking.

Nora: Uh.. heh-heh-heh.

Jaune: Guys! Guys? Guys...

Nora: Nope.

(Weiss POV)

I was sitting in my room, looking up at the blue sky through my window. A few airships flew past as there was a knock at my door.

Weiss: Yes?

I turned to my door as it opened. My butler, Klein, came in and walked towards me.

Klein: Pardon the interruption, Miss Schnee, but your father wishes to speak to you.

Weiss: *sigh* Thank you, Klein.

I looked out the window once more before getting up and walking out of my room, closing the door behind me.
