Unknown Date: A multi- part, anti- war song inspired by Green Day's Jesus Of Suburbia and Holiday. I wrote this after a trip to the Imperial War Museum in London; this is the final version.

Pt. 1: There's Still A War

Soldiers fighting out in the desert

For now they have to stay where they are

'Cause there's still a war to be won

And it won't stop til everything's gone

It don't matter who, but it has to be won

And world wars are happening as we speak

I can feel the ground tremblin' under my feet

It's just a world that's ravaged by war

Nobody's safe in a war of the worlds

There's nothing left worth fighting for

So what the HELL are people dying for?

Poverty here and terrorism there

DISADVANTAGED FAMILIES everywhere

Homeless and widows just because of war

So what the hell do we fight for?

Oh go on, act like you don't see it

But I know that you can feel it 

Everyone's differences still remain 

It seems we'll never be the same

And you know there's a war

Still happening somewhere

And no- one speaks the truth 

So it looks like no- one cares

There's nothing left worth fighting for

So what the HELL are people dying for?

Homeless and widows just because of war

War is a good- for- nothing

Son of a bitch that made it

Gave birth to a monster

Started killing the human race

Begging for something to eat

It's what you find when ignorance and hate meet

Was trouble, hurt and strife

Stay away from Stalin now

Keep away from them all
