Vader's Pov.

"Remember, grab the Jedi. Eliminate the rest." I commanded the stormtroopers as we landed in the rebels base. I lowered the shuttle ramp and all blasters started firing at the rebels before us.

Hera's Pov.

"Ezra, where's Kanan?!" I yelled in a panic as we hid behind crates.

"Um, I think he's over there." Ezra said without looking at me, but looking at the Empires' shuttle.

I looked where he looked to see Vader carrying a blind man over his shoulder. "Kanan!" I shouted.

"No!" Ezra yelled.

We couldn't save Kanan. The Empire left with him, leaving the base in ruins.
