"That hurts so bad," Hedith said as she lay down on Audrey's window bed or whatever that part of her room is called. Evie is tending to her scrape on her elbow, hissing like a cat whenever the cotton ball touches her fresh wound.

The spell almost hit her if it wasn't for the protective spell that Hedith already casted moments before so it only got her a nasty scrape on the elbow.

"I never liked having wounds. Never actually thought that my jacket would be ripped open."

"Well, at least you did it for bravery," Evie smiled and Hedith gave a shy smile. A very rare one.

"What's gonna happened to her?" Hedith asked, instantly changing the topic. The topic is the elephant in the room.

On her bed, lay asleep is Audrey. She has been like that since her defeat and nothing seems to wake her up. The scepter's back to where it belongs, she was stripped from all its magic and the ember was revived, also Auradon was saved which was the main goal of the trip, but big bad Audrey is acting like her mother. Being the sleeping beauty.

"The scepter is what brought her in this condition. What we need is a magic stronger than that," Mal said as she stares at Audrey.

"It was estblished that the ember is stronger than the scepter," Ben pointed out and Hedith huffed at his statement, earning all the eyes in the room. Except Audrey's obviously.

"Only dad can use the ember's full power. That's what we need."

"But can't you use that ember too?" Jay asked, skeptical of her intentions.

"Of course I can, but you realized that I'm not fully Hades. My other half is...different. I can only use its full power if Dad officialy gives me the ember," she testified, her eyes gliding towards Mal.

"Hold on. When you said your other half was different, does that explains why your hair is flaming purple and your eyes were green earlier?" Uma asked, pointing at the direction of the tower.

"Sounds familiar?" Harry pried which puahed Hedith further into the hotseat.

"That's not important right now. What's important is how we will wake that big bad she-dog," Hedith tried diverting their attention and it gave effect even for just a lottle.

"We could get Hades to come here and wake her up," Mal said, quietly. Ben snapped his head to her and shook his head.

"No no no no. We can't. He's too dangerous," Ben protested.

"Says the guy who can turn into a beast," Hedith defended.

"And besides, he won't listen to me," Ben continued, ignoring Hedith's response.

"He will listen to me," Silence filled the room. Mal stared at Ben in the eyes for a long time before clutching his hands and turning to Hedith and Evie by the window, "I'm done running. It's time for you guys to know the truth."

"Mal—"

"Hedith and I are sisters," Mal cuts her off, avoiding alk eye contacts, "We share the same parents. Her mother was Maleficent and my dad is Hades so that makes us...long separated sisters hiding the secret of our blood relationship."

Everyone was dumbfounded by this revelation. Uma and Harry stared back andd fort Hedith and Mal while Carlos and Jay gawk at open space. Hedith was staring straight at Mal as she avoid all eyes except Ben who have his mouth wide open in shock.

"So that means all that fights are some kind of sibling... quarrel of some sorts?" Carlos asked as both girls sighed and nodded, "Wow, I always thought your beef was rooted by something deep. Never thought it was that deep."

"Surprise surprise," Hedith muttered, standing up from her place, "But that's all over now."

She gave a sly smile towards her older sister and frowned when she saw Audrey's condition again, "Dad will have to save her if both of his daughters beg her. He can't say no to us."

"Well, okay, you're sisters. But opening the barrier is still dangerous," Ben protested.

"You want to save your friend or not?" Hedith shots back, rolling her eyes, "Dad's not gonna like it, but the least I can do is stay with him and give him back the ember so he could—"

"Wait you're going back in there?" Mal asked as Uma and Harry stood behind Hedith.

"Well, yeah," Hedith said, "I want to be out but what good will it be without dad?"

"Hedith..."

"Don't worry, princess," Uma said, slinging her arm around Hedith'a shoulders, "I'd take care of our sister."

"And she has all the big brother she can get," Harry smirked, ruffling Hedith's hair. She snapped at him but punched him across the chest, laughing.

"I'll come, too," Celia exclaimed, jumping from her seat. Mal, Evie, Carlos and Jay stared at her in shock and Celie shuffled, "Hedith already had them but I think she'd want a friend in the Isle, too."

She smiled at Hedith which she caught and she smiled back. The nicest, most real smile that the daughter of Hades had given the daughter of Dr Facilier.

"See?" Hedith said with a sheepish smile and gesturing at the two behind her. Mal stared at them and towards Ben before landing on Evie. She gave her a sad smile before nodding.

"Ben?" Mal finally said after her long silence. Ben flinched at the sound of his name.

"Oh...uh well," Ben cleared his throat, "Thank you for all your helping saving Auradon. I'm sorry for doubting you at first but you all have proven to be a formidable ally. I wish I could do you even more to show my greatest gratitude to you."

Hedith smiled and ran towards Mal. She grabbed her hand which made her stand up. She surprised her with a tight hug and the widest grin she have ever given her sister. Mal was dumbfounded at first before smiling back Hedith. The younger girl grabbed Ben's hand and placed it on top of Mal's.

"The greatest thing you can do for me is to love my sister with everything and make sure she is well taken care of," she said, "I love her so much so exceed that, brother-in-law."

---

The Isle was same as always but Hedith is finally seeing it in a new perspective. The perspective of those who found a new hope. Hades is now in Auradon to heal Audrey while she stays on guard in the lair. Evie had given her a hefty stock of fabrics, stuffings and buttons. Lots and lots of buttons. She never finished her Mal and Evie doll in time before the barrier closes forever but she was determined to finish them and have it as a reminder of her other sisters in the other side.

"Hi, girl," Celia said as she sat beside her as she sew the buttons on the Evie doll, "Wow. You're almost done already?"

"Yep," Hedith replied, popping the 'p' at the end, "Just the eyes and I'm done. They're ready for display."

"How about you make more and give them to the younger ones?" Celia suggested, grabbing the Mal doll. She gestured for the buttions, thread and needle before helping on the sewing.

"Well, you gotta help me on my scavenger hunt for more materials to use. I only have enough for three of each of the four," Hedith smirked, finishing with the Evie doll's last eye.

"Call!"

Both girls laughed and Hedith caught glimpse of the incoming person to the lair. She grinned widely and jumped on the pole at the side of her platform. She slid doqn and ran towards Hades who crouched and met her with arms wide. They met and hugged, Hades twirling his youngest daughter as he stood up.

"So how's the trip?" Hedith asked, dangling from her father's neck.

"Ah, we're still talking about your little quest, you know."

"Yeah, I haven't forgotten," she giggled, jumping down. Smiling, she puts her hand on her hip and used her other hand to gesture while she speaks, "The ember was taken, it is my duty as your successor to make sure it is safe from harms way so I have to go. But look at the bright side, Mal and I made up."

Hades stared at her with a stern face but Hedith never wavered under his intense gaze. One thing she learned from her dad, never ever give a damn about those stares. If not, beat them at their own game. It was only a matter of time before Hades smiled and ruffled Hedith's hair.

"You are one hell of a troublemaker," Hades said and Hedith giggled, going to his side and hugged his arm.

"Oh please. You're happy your girls had finally got along."

"In fact, I do."
