Shehnaaz open her eyes slowly everything was blurred at first than she opened it and she found herself in their room, she woke up with a jerk.

"Shehnaaz theek ho tum?" Sidharth asked getting concerned for her.

"Main..yaha kese aai?." She asked holding her head, Sidharth make her sit on the bed.

"Theek ho?" He asked while cupping her face.

She nodded and look here and there than she remembered about the libery incident.

"Si...Sidharth wo wo libery me..". She said in panicked tone holding his hand tightly.

"Shehnaaz relax baba aur aaram se batao mujhe tum behosh kese hui?"

"Are bhabhi hosh aa gaya aapko" Naina said while coming inside the room.

Shehnaaz nodded and about to told something when Naina interrupted them.

"Bahar bula rahe hai aap dono sab" she said looking down.

"Abhi iski tabiyat theek nahi hai sabse bolo hum baad me aayenge" Sidharth said sternly and hold her close to him like he was scared of something. She look at him in confusion.

"Kya hua hai bahar?"

Naina brows frown "aapko kuch yaad nahi?"

"Nahi kuch hua hai kya?"

"Shehnaaz tum rest karo kuch nahi hua hai." Sidharth make her laid on the bed when his kaki enter inside.

"Sidharth bahar aao Shehnaaz ko lekar."

"Kaki abhi wo theek nahi hai-"

"Sidharth kya hua hai?" Shehnaaz asked him.

"Bahar aao pata chal jayega" kaki said and left from there.

Sidharth rub his forehead and sighed. They both went outside and saw everyone from the village was present their and glaring them specially her.
Sidharth hold her hand and entangled their fingers.

"Kya hua hai?" Shehnaaz asked Kaki.

"Tum shaam me kaha gai thi bahu?" His kaka asked her.

She gulped down remembering about the libery incident.

"Mai...main libery gai thi"

"Jhut" Rajveer shout on her. She jump on her place hearing his voice.

"Kaka sa please aap dara rahe hai use" Sidharth said standing infront of her like a shield.

"Hum dara rahe hai arey dara to is ladki ne diya pure gaao ko"

"Ma...maine kya kiya?"

"Tumne kya kiya Haan kiu gai thi us kamre me bolo"

"Konse kamre me?" Shehnaaz asked him.

"Bahu tum kiu gai thi us kamre me tum jaanti thi na us kamre me aatma ked hai aur tumne use aazad kr diya" Kaki sa said to her.

"Maine...Sidharth maine kuch nahi kiya" She turn to Sidharth and said.

"To phir tum waha karne kya gai thi?" Kaka sa said angrily.

"Main nahi gai waha main libery gai thi" She shout getting irritate with their accusations.

"To bhabhi sa aap us kamre ke bahar kiu behosh padi thi aur aapke haath me trishul bhi tha" Naina said to her.

Shehnaaz eyes got widened. "Kya mai...main waha thi lekin main waha nahi gai"

"To Shehnaaz ye sab hua kese?" Sidharth asked her politely.

"Sidharth main sab batati hu main libery gai thi aur waha mere saath ajeeb cheeze hui" she told him about everything happened with her. "Uske baad main behosh ho gai aur mere saath kya hua mujhe pata nahi."

"I think kisi ne tumhari behoshi ka fyda uthaya hai" he turn to kaka sa and said "Kaka sa mujhe lagta hai ye gate kisi aur ne khola hai aur ilzaam Shehnaaz par lag raha hai"

"Sidharth aur kon ye sab karega sabko pata hai wo kamra kitna shrapit hai koi aas paas bhi nahi bhatakta waha".

"To phir hume pata karna chahiye na ki ye kisne kara hai" Aarav said.

"Aarav sahi keh raha hai ye kaam jisne bhi kara hai wo baat alag hai lekin wo aatma ab aazad ho chuki hai ye anarth ho gaya hai." An old man said from the villagers.

All the family members look at eachother in fear.

The haveli felt more unsettling with each passing day. The air seemed heavier, and Shehnaaz could not help but notice that everyone behavior had shifted. The people who once laughed and chatted now spoke in hushed tones, their eyes filled with something she could not name.

But Naina was the one who worried her the most. She was acting strange distant, distracted, and often mumbling to herself when she thought no one was watching.

One evening, Shehnaaz stepped into the courtyard. The moonlight cast long shadows over the ancient trees, and the air was eerily still. She spotted Naina standing near the old banyan tree, her back turned.

Shehnaaz paused. Naina seemed to be talking to someone, but from where she stood, Shehnaaz could not see anyone else. Her heart started to race.

"Ye Naina kisse baat kar rahi hai?" Shehnaaz muttered to herself, taking slow steps toward the tree.

As she got closer, she could hear Naina's voice.

"Tum samjh kiu nahi rahe ho main ye sab nahi kar sakti, meri family hai ye" Naina tone was sharp, "main apni family ko dhoka nahi de sakti."

Shehnaaz's breath hitched. Who was she talking to?

She called out hesitantly, "Naina? Tum kisse baat kar rahi ho?"

Naina froze, her head turning slowly toward Shehnaaz. Her expression was blank, her eyes wide and unfocused. "Baat?" she repeated, her voice oddly calm. "Kisi se bhi nahi."

Shehnaaz frowned, glancing around. "Lekin maine suna tum baat kar rahi thi. Yahan koi aur hai?"

Naina lips curled into a faint, unsettling smile. "Yahan toh koi nahi hai, Bhabhi. Aapko shayad galat laga."

Before Shehnaaz could question her further, Naina brushed past her and walked back toward the haveli, leaving her standing alone by the tree.

Shehnaaz glanced around the tree, her heart pounding. There was no one there, just empty space.

Later that night, Shehnaaz sat with Sidharth in their room. She could not keep her thoughts to herself any longer.

"Sidharth, mujhe lagta hai ki yeh haveli me kuch toh gadbad hai, please mujhe yaha se jaana hai" she said, her voice trembling.

Sidharth looked up from the book he was reading. "Gadbad? Kya matlab hai tumhara?"

"Naina," she began. "Woh ajeeb behave kar rahi hai. Aaj maine usse ped ke paas kisse baat karte hue dekha. Jab main paas gayi, toh wahan koi nahi tha. Aur uska tareeka…" Shehnaaz hesitated, choosing her words carefully. "Woh jaise apne aap me nahi lag rahi thi."

Sidharth frowned. "Bass isliye main nahi chahata tha ki tumhe us darwaze ke baare me pata chala karne lagi na tum bhi baaki logo jese overthink, Shehnaaz ye bhoot vhoot kuch nahi hota hum sab ka dar hi hume darata hai aur tum na bass zyda stress le hui ho."

"Nahin, Sidharth," Shehnaaz insisted. "Yeh stress nahi hai. Sab log ajeeb behave kar rahe hain. Tumhare uncle, cousins… sabke chehre pe ek alag sa tension hai. Aur tum…" She paused, her voice dropping. "Tum bhi badle badle lagte ho."

Sidharth's expression darkened, but he forced a small smile. "Shehnaaz, tum bas overthink kar rahi ho. Sab normal hai."

Shehnaaz shook her head. "Mujhe lagta hai hume yahan se chale jaana chahiye."

"Chale jaana chahiye?" Sidharth's tone turned firm. "Yeh mera ghar hai, Shehnaaz. Bachpan bita hai mera yaha darne wali koi baat nahi hai."

"Lekin agar yahan rehna khatarnaak ho gaya toh?" she asked softly.

"Yahan koi khatra nahi hai," he replied, his eyes steady but unreadable. "Main hoon na tumhare saath. But still you wanted to go than main tickets ka intezaam karta hu okay now don't be stressed."

Shehnaaz smile and nodded, although her smile didn't reached her eyes.

That night, as Shehnaaz lay awake in bed, staring at the dark ceiling, the strange events of the day replayed in her mind. Naina's eerie behavior, her cryptic words, the growing tension in the haveli, none of it made sense.

And as the wind howled outside, rattling the windows, Shehnaaz could not shake the feeling that the haveli was hiding something. Something dark. Something dangerous.

Next morning she saw Naina entry in the old room, she followed her. When she reached the room again, the door creaked open with an unsettling noise, almost as if it were welcoming her inside. She hesitated for a moment, but then, gathering all her courage, she stepped inside.

The room was dark, filled with dust and cobwebs. She could feel the weight of history pressing down on her as she walked further in. There was something ancient about this place something that didn't belong in the present.

As she moved across the room, Shehnaaz noticed something on the floor, a faded rug. Her curiosity got the better of her, and she gently lifted it. Beneath it, there was a trapdoor.

Shehnaaz's pulse quickened as she opened the door, revealing a narrow staircase leading downward into complete darkness.

Without thinking, she took a deep breath and descended.

As she reached the bottom, the air grew colder, and the silence became almost unbearable. She felt like she was entering a place where time didn't exist where the past and present collided in a way she could not comprehend.

Suddenly, a cold gust of wind blew through the chamber, making Shehnaaz shiver. She looked around, her eyes searching for anything that could explain the strange atmosphere.

That's when she saw it.

A faint light flickered at the far end of the room. She approached slowly, and as she did, she heard a soft whisper, barely audible.

"Shehnaaz… tumhe yeh nahi jaanna chahiye tha, tumhe yaha nahi aana chahiye tha."

The voice sent a chill down her spine, but she couldn't turn back now. She had to know the truth.

Just as she stepped closer to the light, she felt a cold hand grab her wrist. Her breath caught in her throat as she turned to face the figure emerging from the shadows.

It was Naina. But her eyes were different, empty, hollow. A chilling smile twisted her lips.

"Shehnaaz… tumne yeh galat kiya," she whispered, her voice filled with malice.

Before Shehnaaz could respond, the light flickered out, and the room was plunged into darkness. A cold laugh echoed through the walls, and Shehnaaz felt a hand tighten around her neck.
