"No keep it just incase." we leaned forheads and stayed in eachothers arms until we had to go.

a few months later

"LAURENS IM OUT OF AMO!" I shouted over the cannons firing (They haven't resieved note of there victory just wait.) He ran over to me and I noticed that he was limping,"Sit!" I ordered and inspectide his leg.

I noticed Laurens in the way of straight gun fire so I shoved him and was shot,"NO!" He wrapped his arms around me as I bled,"Im here shh." he strocked my head as he carried me to the medics tent.

laurens POV

,"PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ITS (Y/N)!" A docter grabbed her and worked on her,"She'll be fine we might have to send her back." She sat up,"Nien im fine!" she looked at me,"If you say so we have faith in you but if your in pain you will come back or you might die of-" She ran out and I followed. It's been three weeks.....

I pointed my gun and fired I noticed laurens smiling at me and then he was hit that is if i didn't run infront of him gaurding him,"She risked her life?" I heard a commander,"when her life means so much more or royalty?" everything went quiet as all you could hear was the wind against our clothing I just stood infornt of him my arms our blood dripping from the corner of my mouth and blood rushing out of my side,"No...We need you. Lafayette needs you don't die!" He was crying so much,"I may not live to see our glory." I sung,"No!" I smiled my eys closed my arms fell down to my sides and I stuttered tears falling down my face blood fallng from my mouth,"WHO SHOT HER!" It was a british soldier, I heard whispering,"Laurens.." I wrapped my arms around him and let my legs fall,"RETREAT!" and so we did laurens carying me.

time skip to find out they won

"WE WON!" I whimpered in pain still on the edge of death,"A carrige is here for you ma'am." I nodded and followed him out to the carriage.

I stared out the window every once and a while wincing in pain,"Ma'am are you ok?"

"No sir I was shot a few weeks ago..." He just stared at me the rest of the ride. As soon as we made it I was so happy to be back in the camp,"So empty.." I walked around and held my side and lost my balance,"here." He supported me,"SUPRISE!" I laughed,"you scared me!" We all laughed until they noticed I was holding my side,"What happened?"
