"So you're coming tonight or not?"

"I don't know..."

"You don't?" Jessica whispered, looking a bit glum by her lover's response as they were laying on the bed, into each other's arms, admiring the view from Susan's apartment.

"Well, there would be cameras, taking photos, I mean, you don't want me there with you" Susan replied with a smirk on her face, longing to see Jessica's reaction.

"But I want you there," she said and looked at her lover with a pretentious, sad, look on her face

"I'll think about it"

"Honestly, Sue, please come... I'm asking it as a favor"

"Then I'll be there"

"Thank you" she mouthed and leaned closer to her lover, placing a kiss on Susan's lips. Suddenly she took a sitting position and rose up from the bed with Susan observing her. "Where are you going?"

"I've got to go get ready"

"Come on, stay with me for a little longer"

"I've got to take a shower, honey"

"We'll take a shower together"

"Yeah, that's not gonna happen"

"Why not, come on"

"Because I've got things to do, Susan," she said and started taking off her pajamas to wear back her clothes. "You're so nervous"

"I'm terrified"

"Why?"

"Because I don't know if what I'm good enough, I mean, the photos are okay but..."

"Jess, you're brilliant" she cut her short

"Well, what else would you say"

"No, I'm talking as a viewer, they're brilliant"

"You can't be impartial"

"Why not?"

"Because you're in love with me and don't want to hurt me... but I want the truth, don't think about hurting me, am I good at this?"

Susan chuckled and smiled, she stood on the bed and walked to the edge, grabbing her lover's shoulders, she started massaging her. "You are better than you think, you're much more than a photographer"

Jessica closed her eyes and titled her head to the side, wearing now only her bra, she let herself relax under her lover's touch. "Hmmm..."

"You're a storyteller, every single photo has a story, every single person you photographed and somehow you make us see these stories behind them... Stop being nervous, you're gonna do great"

"What if I don't... you know I don't like people"

With that, both chuckled. Susan leaned closer and started kissing her lover's neck, whispering, "I'll be there, if you anyone makes you feel uncomfortable then all you have to do is look at me and I'll come running to your side"

Jessica smiled, "You promise?"

"I would do anything for you"

"You wanna go instead of me?"

"My acting skills go as far to Betty Davis, Jess, I can't play you" Susan whispered and wrapped her hands around Jessica's body, pulling her closer, "You just need to relax"

Jessica laughed, "Is that so?"

"Come on, you got time..."

"I do" Jessica replied and took hold of Susan's hands, dragging them up to her breasts. "I can take over from here"

"I'm counting on it"

Susan chuckled and buried her face on Jessica's neck, nibbling her earlobe while her hands were stroking softly her breast above the thin fabric, Susan unclasped it and let it crash on the ground, immediately Jessica turned around, pushing her lover on the bed.

Susan parted her legs and fell on top of her lover, she attacked Jessica's exposed flesh, making her moan under her soft kisses.

Jessica wrapped her arms around Susan's neck and locked her eyes on her lover, watching her actions.

Susan felt Jessica's eyes glued on her, she glanced up and chuckled, "What is it?"

"Girlfriend? I like that" Susan replied and took off her glasses, placing them on the table in front of her, "Come on, you got time"

"I do, indeed"

"At least are you feeling more relaxed?"

"Oh, more than I can tell," she said, making Susan chuckle, "I better be going though"

"Yeah, you should," Susan said and stood up to kiss her lover, Jessica gave her a peck on her lips and smiled, "I'm gonna see you there, okay?"

"I promise"

"So, yeah, that's basically the story behind this photo"

"It's great, honestly"

"Really? You like it?"

"You're kidding me, they're great"

"Thank you so much" Jessica replied with a huge smile on her face and took a sip from her drink.

"Also, I've got to tell you how great you were in Ryan's new show"

"Oh, thanks..." she said again and started looking around, she smiled when she spotted Susan entering the gallery.

"I heard you're planning something new with him again"

"Well, we've got something in mind, now if you'll excuse me... it was nice seeing you again"

"Yeah, of course"

Jessica smiled and walked up to Susan, "I didn't believe you would actually come"

"I said I would"

"It's so nice seeing you," she said and kissed her lover's cheek, she stopped and whispered, "You're so beautiful"

"You've been saying it a lot lately, are you telling the truth or is it just your pick up line?"

Jessica smirked and took a step back, looking at her lover, "Come on, I'll show you around"

"Great" Susan replied and followed her lover, "So with whom were you talking?"

"I don't know her"

"You don't?"

"Jesus Christ, you're not making a scene, are you?"

"Look, lately all we do is staying inside so I get to make a scene, it's been so long"

"Alright then, do your thing"

"Wait," Susan said and stopped in front of one photo, looking at it, "We were together that day"

"Shh..." She replied and moved closer to Susan, "Keep it down, honey"

"We were going up to Minnesota, that's what you did while Penny was peeing

"If I could, I would have your photos here as well"

"With Penny peeing, no thanks"

"You know what I'm talking about"

"Of course I do" Susan laughed and they continued walking around the room.

After almost two hours, Jessica was now talking to some man while Susan was looking at the photos, drinking. She turned to Jessica's side and watched her from the distance, Jessica was surrounded by people, listening to her and as she was talking, Susan caught her attention for a second, she looked at her and smiled, with that Susan rose her drink and chuckled. Even in a crowded place, Jessica was the only person she was paying attention to, she was mesmerized by her.

Susan checked her phone and then placed it back into her bag, slowly she approached her lover, "Jessica, I've got to go now"

"So soon?"

"Yeah, got the kids back home," Susan said and chuckled

"Well, it was so nice seeing you"

"Yeah... it was"

"Wait, Susan, I'll walk you out"

"No, it's okay, stay"

"Oh, stop it, I don't mind"

"Alright then"

Jessica excused herself and followed her lover out, making sure that no one was looking at them she approached her lover and kissed her, "I wanted to do this for so long"

"But yet I did it"

"That's because you're eager"

"Am I gonna see you tonight?"

"Yeah, come after you're done"

"Great, I'll see you tonight," she said and started walking back inside when all of a sudden Susan grabbed her hand, stopping her.

"One last kiss"

"No, they'll see us"

"No one is looking at us, Jess"

"What if someone comes?"

"Then I guess we're gonna have to find out," Susan said and smiled, she leaned closer and kissed her one more time. Jessica opened her eyes and bit her lips, "You got lucky this time, Sarandon"

"Come on, go back inside"

"I'll see you tonight," Jessica said and winked at her lover.

Jessica was done after midnight so scared of waking her lover up she decided to go straight home, she walked into her apartment and threw her bags on the couch, smiling. Jessica walked to fix herself another drink and fell on the couch next to her things, she took out her phone.

*Jack. 12 Missed calls*

Suddenly her expression changed.

"No, I'm better now"

"You want me to bring you another pillow?"

"No, but I want some water"

"I think you have to lift your feet up high"

"No, I don't. But I want some water, Jack"

"Oh, right, yeah!" he shouted and left Susan's room, as he was heading to the kitchen he heard someone rushing to get into the apartment.

"Susan?! Sue!" Jessica shouted when she walked into the house "Jack, where's your mother? What happened?!"

"Jessica? What are you doing here?"

"What do you mean? I saw your calls what happened?"

"You should've called first"

"Jack, where is your mother?"

"Well..."

"Well, what? Please, you're freaking me out, what happened?"

"Mom fell"

"What? How is she? Where is she?"

"She has amnesia"

"What the fuck are you talking about? Where is she? I wanna see her"

"She's not gonna remember you, Jess, she's inside"

"I swear to God if this is a joke, I'm gonna fucking kill you" she shouted and run into her lover's bedroom, "Sue?" she whispered and walked to her side, taking a seat next to her, "Jess? What are you doing here?"

"You remembered me?"

"What?" Susan asked confused

"Who am I?"

"Did you hit your head as well?"

"Answer me, what's my name?"

"Jessica Lange?"

"What's your name?"

"Jackie Kennedy... Jesus, what's gotten into you?"

"How many kids you got?"

"Eleven... Jess, what the hell is going on"

"You don't have amnesia?"

"No, but I think you got"

Jack walked inside, laughing, holding Susan's water, "I'm gonna kill you," Jessica said and looked at Jack

"What happened?"

"I told her that you have amnesia"

With that, Susan started laughing, "No, I don't, I just fell"

"Did you go to the hospital?"

"We did, we just got back, come on, go back home, Jess, you should rest"

"I'm not going anywhere, what happened?"

"Well, I had a shower and fell while I was walking out of the bathtub"

"But your eyes..."

"Yeah, I know..."

Jessica sighed and looked at her, tearing up, "And I wasn't here..."

"I called Jack, I didn't want to upset you"

"Does it hurt?"

"Oh, like hell, they gave some pills to ease it but still"

"Mom, I'll stay here tonight, take care of you"

"No, you'll go home, both of you"

"Jack, I'll stay here, you can go"

"Jess, you don't have to"

"I want to"

"You're sure"

"Of course, go get some rest"

"Alright, goodnight"

"Goodnight baby"

Jack kissed his mother and then left, leaving the two women alone.

"Come on, you should sleep now"

"You can leave, Jess"

"No, I'll sleep here," she said and pointed the chair next to the bed

"On the chair?" Susan asked and chuckled

"On the chair" She replied and stood up, she dragged the chair next to her lover and took a seat, placing her feet on the bed, she took hold of Susan's hand and started stroking the back of it with her thumb.

"You're not gonna tell me how beautiful I am now?"

"You'll always be the most beautiful woman I've ever seen, honey"

Susan chuckled and closed her eyes, a few teardrops fell on her cheeks something that didn't pass unnoticed from Jessica who was now tearing up again, she moved closer and wiped off the tears, carefully not to hurt her, eventually, she placed a kiss on Susan's forehead. "I thought something bad happened, you scared me, honey. Please be careful"

"I'm okay, I just need to rest"

"And you will..."

Silence filled the room for several minutes until Susan cleared her throat and looked at Jessica seating next to her, "I can't sleep knowing that you'll sleep on the chair. Please come lay next to me"

"That's too risky honey, what if I accidentally hit you while we're sleeping, no, I'm alright here"

"But I'm not"

"You should care about getting some sleep, don't think about me, I'll be here, next to you when you wake up"

"I love you"

"I love you too..."
