Emma Farmount

    Oh that sleep felt so good.  No nightmares, and no too-good-to-be-true dreams.  Just a good night sleep.  My parents and I had pancakes for breakfast.   I'm just glad they brought my normal clothes with them.  I changed into dark blue skinny jeans, and a softball t-shirt.  I put a sweatshirt over since it was still raining. 
    " I shouldn't be too long.  We are just going to talk about training."
    "All right sweetie. Have fun!  Love you."  My mom said.
    "Love you too."  With that I went out the door over to Christopher's house.  I only know where it is because we went on a walk in the rain last night. I knocked on the door to see if Christopher was awake.
    "Well hello Emma.  How are you this morning?"
    "I'm good.  I was just coming to make sure Christopher was coming."
    "Okay sure he should be coming any minute.  Come on in we don't want you to catch a cold after everything you have been through."
    "Thank you."  I walked inside and put down my hood I was wearing.  Christopher was down 2 minutes later.
    "And I thought girls took a long time to get ready."
    "Hey.  It looks like you threw your hair into two braids and that's it."  He joked with me, "I actually took a shower."
    "Hey I took one last night."  I said trying to get a comeback.
    "All right mom, dad.  We shouldn't be too long."
    "Okay see you later honey. Bye!"
    "Bye." Then we started walking to Moonbucks.  Moonbucks was only about a 3 minute walk from Christopher's house.  Alice and Thomas were already there talking.  They both seemed happy, but Alice seemed tired.
    "Hey!"  Christopher said as we walked over to their table.
    "Wow Moonbucks is empty."
    "Yea Alice said that most people are working now. So nobody has time to get Moonbucks."Thomas said flirting with Alice.  Something must have happened last night.
    "Hmm interesting."
    "Well anyways time to tell you about your training.  So you will be training at a secret facility.  It is in the colony, but very few people know about it.  Your training will be physical, mental, and survival.  Those 3 parts will be split up into 2 weeks for each.  You will be training Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday.  Any questions so far?"
    "Yea umm what about your training?  Will you be training with us?" Christopher asked.
    "I wish I could say yes, but no.  This is the hard part.  You guys won't be able to see me for 2 months."
    "WHAT!?"  We all screamed.
    "Why?  Did I love you mean nothing to you?" Thomas asked.  I really wish I knew what happened last night.  Alice grabbed Thomas' hand, and,
    "Of course it meant something.  I didn't choose to not be able to see you all.  I have a special mission.  It is my training.  I am not leaving the colony either though.  I'll just be training for 2 months."
    "Why didn't you tell us sooner?"  I asked in frustration.
    "Because I didn't know how to tell you.  I was worried that if I told you earlier you well might not even trust me anymore."  I grabbed Alice's hand after she said that.
    "Hey we will always trust you.  Right guys."  The guys nodded in agreement.  "So no matter what happens...We will always be by your side."  I smiled at Alice, and I finally got the smile I have been waiting to see ever since I met her
