A/N: so sorry for not updating in like forever. Had to go through some things and i'm writing an article about Pokemon Sun and Moon so i was busy watching a walk-through for it etc.

anyways i'll be adding two new chapters to this and after that it will be a while for the next ones. i can't really write much because the graphics of season one is kinda slow since I've been watching 4 ahead of time so yeah...

Let us begin....

It's been about two weeks since I had my last nightmare. During that time I had sent a school application sent to Beacon in hopes of joining. I wanted to test my semblance's abilities in battles with the Shadow creatures.

"Are you sure you're gonna be okay now?" Mom asks me. I was about to board a bus as she was saying her goodbyes.

"I'll be fine,plus I have your lullaby in my music box. So if I ever feel distressed, I'll play it to calm me down". We one hug last time before I boarded the bus. I take my seat and wave to her as the bus leave the station. My new life begins now.

A few hours later.

I board an airship headed straight to Beacon. The ship had no seats, so the passengers had to stand here and there. As I waited I notice two other people. A red haired girl in a red riding hood type of get-up and possibly her older yellow-haired sister who came to me as a brawler type of person. I overhear their conversation when the ship takes off. They were both on their way to Beacon as well. This was red's first time and she was going her sister. Her sister couldn't help but, be very bubbly about this. I couldn't help but, chuckle at red's embarrassment. She must have overheard because she began to droop, trying to hide herself from reality.

"Hey, it's nothing to be embarrassed about" I tell her. I give them a three finger salute as my way of saying hello before approaching them. "Sorry I couldn't but, overhear that you two are headed to Beacon as well?"

"Yep, my wittle sister is actually joining me last minute"

"Sis, come on stop it"

"Fine, I'm Yang by the way and this is Ruby" Yang says pointing to the red haired girl.

"Xaito. Spelled with an X though". I crouch down to Ruby and put my hand out. "Nice to meet you Ruby".

"Same to you." She shakes my hand. My DNA begins to copy and store her Semblance's stats and abilities.

"Ya know, you look cute in that red riding hood get-up." Ruby blushes a shade of red like her hair.

"Th-thanks"

I shake hands with Yang and my DNA copies and stores her Semblance as well.

"Hr-bleh". We all look to the sound. A blonde haired boy was having trouble holding in his breakfast.

"Uh, I'll see you when we land. I gonna go help that guy out" I tell Ruby and Yang with a quick wave. "Okay see ya!" Yang say quite loudly. "He's kinda cute. You gonna take him or will I have to make you jealous for him?"

"Shut up!" Ruby says blushing again.

I walk over to the boy and rub his back as he vomits into the trashcan. "Hey, you feeling okay?"

"Yeah, just air sick is all". He vomits some more.

"I might have something that can help. Do you think you can hold it for a minute?"

"Yeah I *hmph* think so." He turns to me and I quick jab at some pressure points meant to help relieve motion sicknesses.

"That should do it". The boy walks around feeling the sickness having left him.

"Wow thanks. You must be some sort of miracle worker" he says in thanks.

"Heh, I'm just a person who helps."

"I'm Juane by the way"

"Xaito. You headed to Beacon as well?"

"Yeah, my family has a blood line of warriors so, I thought I become one as well"

"Sounds nice"

"Well...yeah I guess".

*ding dong* "Next stop Beacon Academy" a man's voice says over the P.A system. He continues on with other stuff but, I ignore him.
"Beacon Academy. The first step. I wonder what you have in store for me". A few minutes later, the airship lands at the station.

"Hrmph, aw crud I think your thing wore off." Jaune runs out of the airship feeling sick once more.

"Sorry" I call out to him. I walk out of the ship and see the large building known as beacon. The large spires seemed to scratch the skies and the large clock told the time for miles around. I look around and see that many of the students had some form of a weapon.

"Shoot I guess I didn't get the memo" I tell myself. I spotted Ruby getting ditched by Yang so I thought of joining her.

"Wait-don't go- I'll be so alone" she says still dizzy from being spun. She falls into someone's large stash of luggage.

"What are you doing?!" A girl with white hair walks over to us. You could say she had a snow queen look.

"Do you know what you could've damaged?" She asks holding a vial to Ruby's face.

"Wha?"

"Dust! These vials contain the finest Dust around." The girl shakes the vial causing puffs of Dust to spray at Ruby.

"Ah-ah-AH-CHOO!" An explosion of the tri-colored dust. The girl in white was covered in black soot.

"Argh. Look what do did. You-You dolt!"

"Aye, aye she didn't mean it. No need to get angry at her" I walk over to them defending Ruby.

"Well, well another newbie defending his girlfriend?" The girl in white taunts.

"Says the member of the Schnee family." A girl in black says approaching us. She wore a ribbon and was reading a book. "Oh, did I forget to mention that you were illegally mining and selling Dust?"

"Wha!- why you!"

"I'll keep silent if this passes"

"Fine!" She walks away with someone pushing her luggage.

"Thanks for the save" I tell the girl in black. I put my hand out and she shakes it.

"People have to put them in their place. I must be going now."

"Wait we never got your name!"

"Maybe next time. When we meet again" She walks off, headed to her own destination.

"Wow, we lucked out" Ruby says aloud.

"You can say that again. This is kinda random but, what is your weapon of choice?"

"That would be my Crescent Rose" she tells me spinning out her scythe. "It's a scythe and sniper in one"

"Wow, did you make it yourself?" I ask touching the sharp edge of the blade.

"Yep! With some help from my dad though"

"It's well crafted. Shoot, that reminds me. I have get a weapon as well"

"What!!! You don't have a weapon yet?you should have one already. What were you thinking? Beacon..." Ruby rambles on for a little before realizing I had stepped away.

"Don't worry. I'll be back in time for the introduction" I yell back to her. Jaune was wandering around so I thought of letting them talk for a bit. Using Ruby's speed, I sped to the nearest weapon shop.

"Welcome! What can I do for ya?" The weapons keeper greets me when I walk in.

"Gonna need a weapon to fight Grimms and Shadows. Got anything that would suit me?"

"Well you look like the special customer, I'll show something you might be worthy of." The weapon's keeper walks into the back of his store to get this 'special' weapon. I look around the shop. Throwing knives, a large mace, swords all in varying shapes and sizes and gun-like weapons.

"Here we are" I hear a large thud before walking to the weapon's keeper. "This is one of my finest beauties. A separating shield used like boxing gloves. Even the finest boxer can not wield this." The shield was a large gold circle, about ten feet in diameter and one and a half feet in thickness.

"It's magnetic to anyone using these steel bands. Two for the forearms and two for the legs. This chest piece also allows you to attach it to your back for easy mobility. Care to try?" The design was simple and could be very versatile.

"Sure, I'll give it a try." I slip on the steel bands and split the shield in two. They attached to my arms and with a slam it was back into a full shield.

"Well, melt me down and forge me into Excalibur. Your a natural"

"I wouldn't say that. I kinda like a second nature"

"Well whatever it may be I have to put you to the test"

"How so?" The weapons keeper pulls out a baseball bat. "O...kay" what happened next a normal human wouldn't have been able to process as quickly by normal sight. The weapons keeper switched it into a bazooka and fired at me. I split the shield into fours and used two on my arms to block the missile. It exploded and launched me back. I charged at him and crushed the barrel with the two on my legs. "The hell were you trying to pull off!?" The smoke from the explosion was still around smothering my view of him.

"Hahaha, I had never seen anyone actually pull it off. You can keep the weapon. You earned it-on the house." I hear police cars outside. Someone probably called the police when the missile exploded. I stick the shield back together and place on my back. (Italics)"Now a little acting." I cough as I walk out of the store. I made my legs tremble as if I was hit by the shock wave.

"Sir, are you alright?" an officer asks.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Just surprised is all. I think someone else is in there"

"Oh my. Officers move out!" Using this moment I slip away and speed my way back to beacon in time for the introduction. I slip into a seat next to Ruby and act as if I was already there.

"Oh! You made it" she says in a whisper.

"Yep and I got this shield as my weapon. I'm gonna call it Aegis"

"Pretty awesome but, not as awesome as Rose"

"And now we will begin the field testing in the morning. I hope you are all ready for it"

"Field test? I wonder what that might be?"
