Sonic's POV
The questions had finally stopped and we were finally able to keep walking without being scared of saying something wrong. We had another stop eating when a butterfly flew to Shadow's ear.

Rouge and I looked at him and quietly laughed. Shadow looked at us and raised a brow. "What now?" He asked annoyingly.

"If only I had my phone to take a picture," I mumbled making Shadow cross his arms.

"It looks as if he's wearing a ribbon." Rouge pointed out and I laughed a bit louder.

"What are you two talking ab-" He moved off as the butterfly moved and his ear twitched a couple of times until the butterfly flew away. He realized what had happened and rolled his eyes. "You two are too childish."

"Oh come on. Are you that grumpy all the time? " I asked.

"He really isn't, he's just putting on a wall," Rouge said she received a glare from Shadow but she ignored it completely. "I'm telling the truth, Shadow is actually soft but he doesn't show it so much." 

"I am going to kill you, Bat," Shadow growled furiously so I threw him a slice of ham at his face. He gasped and moved his head back when it landed on his forehead. Rouge and I laughed loudly. 

"That was perfect!" I kept laughing then gasped and jumped startled when I felt my face sticky, Shadow had thrown it back to my face. 

Rouge laughed at this so I took it off and threw it at her. BIGGEST mistake I have ever done in my entire life. Side note to myself: Never, and I mean NEVER throw something at a girls face, especially when they are wearing makeup. 

Shadow chuckled and looked at me, he was nearly smiling, trying not to laugh. "You are dead, Hedgehog." He said and I heard Rouge growl. She stood up and flew to my direction. 

I yelped and quickly dashed away, I used Shadow as cover and he tensed up. He tried to get away and chaos controlled away since I was holding onto him, I also did as well. I looked around confused to where I was then saw we weren't that far from where Rouge was. 

"Come on, Blue! I am not going to hurt you!" Rouge shouted as she looked for us. 

"Lies!" I yelled and she saw where I was at. "She's coming!" I held onto Shadow and I swear I heard him laugh. I smiled at that and he chaos controlled on top of a tree, just on top of Rouge. Shadow quickly pushed me off landing just at her side. "Hey!" I yelled and Rouge quickly grabbed me. She stuffed the ham in my face and rubbed it all over it. 

"I work alone, Hedgehog." Shadow laughed. He was laughing!

"Thank you, Hun!" Rouge thanked him and I simply tried to clean my face. 

"Damn, I didn't think Shadow would betray me like that." I laughed and he rolled his eyes. 

"We should get going before it gets dark." Rouge pointed out that we only had about 3 hours before it did. 

I stood up, went to get my stuff, grabbed a napkin and cleaned my face properly, so did Rouge and Shadow. We kept walking until Rouge stopped me and made sure Shadow would see or listen to what she was going to say. 

"I had never heard him laugh before. Good job, hes warming up to you, Blue." She whispered then kept walking, for some reason, that made me lightly blush.
