Far away in a land transversed by very few was a kingdom known as Clardonia. This ancient kingdom was split into two quite different races: the humans and the fairies. From ancient times, the fairy portion of Clardonia (Clardonia-Clarseus) had been hidden from humans. Every century, the fairies tried to create an impossible union: a bond between man and the fairy world.

Most of these bonds not only failed, but led to inter relations between the races which created hybrids of man and fairy. Many of these strange creatures never lived to see their first year. Two centuries before this legendary tale took place, the first hybrid to live a full life term was born into a minor royal fairy line. Shunned by many, she was an epic failure of the bonding. In her generation, a fairy princess sought to create such a bond and came to Clardonia's human side.

She met the crown prince disguised as a pauper and for five years, they lived as man and wife. Their short union led to the strongest hybrids ever created: our journey begins here.
