_~^~_ Angel's pov _~^~_

I jerk awake and whimper softly out in pain as last night's beating makes itself painfully apparent. Last night, I dreamt about the final day I had in the timeline before. I sigh, that memory has been haunting me from the start of my now 17 years of life in this timeline. I look around and grin softly when I see my twin sister, Sunnie, the only person who I stay around for. Our mom and her boyfriend can burn in hell, wait no, they probably rule the place. I shake my thoughts out when Sunnie wakes up and smiles at me.

"Morning..." Sunnie mumbles, tiredly beaming at me.

"I think today is the first day at our new school," I say as I slowly sit up, managing not to wince in pain while do so. I quickly take stock of my injuries at the moment: 4 cracked ribs, 1 fractured finger, my wrapped up pinky, and lots of bruises along my body. My nose is bent at an odd angle so I quickly snap it into place and put a bit of bandage on it to keep it from bending again. I sigh softly. "Hopefully they don't notice how messed up I am..."

Sunnie's happy expression seems to falter slightly at this. "I wish they'd stop hurting you..."

I look at her and grin sadly. "But then they'd hurt you....and I don't want that to happen."

"Yeah, yeah I know....but still..." Sunnie glances at a clock "Oh, we need to get ready!"

I nod and groan softly. As if it was programmed into me, I walk over to the mirror, pick up the concealer, and start to hide the bruises and scars on my face with it. I then put on some red contact lenses to hide my bloodshot eyes.

Sunnie sighs as she opens one of the curtains before looking at me. "You nervous about today?"

I nod and turn to her. "Yeah I am...but it gets me out of the house, and maybe I can eat something today..." I said, the last part hopefully. I haven't eaten anything because everything my mom cooks has coconut in it, and I'm deadly allergic to the stuff.

Sunnie smiles at that. "Well, if that makes you happy, then I'm happy," she said before walking over to me, "Need any help with disguising the wounds?"

I nod. "Can you get the ones on my neck?" I move my Snow White hair off of my neck, throwing it into a neat and high ponytail. I've kept my appearance as clean as I can, including finding ways to hide the chunks of missing hair, braids seeming is the best thing to hide it. I quickly braid my hair and sigh softly.

Sunnie sits down behind me before carefully covering my bruises with the concealer. "Ya know, I'm still jealous of your hair braiding skills," she said trying to keep a happy mood.

I laugh softly and smile at her. "I can teach you if you want. I just managed to learn how to make a decent braid."

Sunnie grins at that. "Yea, but even if I did do a braid myself, it still wouldn't be near as well as you do it."

I giggle softly. "I'm sure you'd probably do it better than me with some practice." I smile when she gets done covering my bruises. "Let's get going. Hopefully, I won't have to hide any fresh marks if we leave before they wake up."

"Alright, but I don't think they'd wake up anyway; after how much they drank last night," Sunnie stated, grinning, "Even if they did, they still wouldn't be able to see straight."

I nod and laugh softly. "True, it was somewhat entertaining to watch them. I wish that they wouldn't get more violent when they're drunk though." I stand up, walking to the door. I look down at myself. I am clothed in a surprisingly white tee shirt, black skirt, blue jeans, black pants, and a black trench coat. I look at Sunnie and study her.

Sunnie wears cloths slightly similar: a White T-Shirt, jeggings (jeans X leggings), a purple jacket, plus some red and white converses. It helps her peachy skin, hazel-brown eyes, and short brown hair stand out.

I smile, quickly and quietly run out of the house, grabbing my book bag on the way out.

Sunnie follows behind me before stopping. "Wait, bag." she quickly runs off, coming back with her bag this time.

I grab my skateboard from the garage and put it on the ground, hoping on it, speeding to school at a semi reasonable speed.

Sunnie hops onto her bike behind me. "Wait up!!!" She says before pedaling and giggling.

I slow down enough for her to catch up before I ride my skateboard alongside her. I am surprisingly good at it; even though it is probably a stupid thing, with me already getting beat at home, but I didn't care. I smile as we get to the school building. I slow down enough so I wouldn't crash before I jump off my board, step on the end and catch it.

"Let's do this!" Sunnie yells before literally jumping off her bike as it crashes into a wall, Sunnie giggling. "Yep, still worth it!"

I chuckle, walking over to her before pulling her to her feet gently. I am surprisingly strong for not eating in a long time. "Come on, let's go inside.I have a feeling this school will be better than the others."

Sunnie nods. "I hope so."

I walk in the door. Apparently, it's the gym entrance. I see cheer practice taking place so I start studying their movements. I notice that the cheerleaders aren't doing a very cohesive cheer, so I walk over. "Could I suggest some moves?" I ask nervously, messing with the hym of my sleeves.

(Human version of tooth)

Tooth, the lead cheerleader, looks over at me with a smile. "Uh, sure I guess."

Sunnie grins, watching from the entrance of the gym.

I smile. "Well you could try some flips." I utter, before performing a perfect backflip. "And maybe a cartwheel or two...." I add, doing a triple cartwheel expertly, giggling softly.

Tooth watches me. "You're pretty good for a new kid at the school! Okay guys, come here please!" Tooth orders to the cheer squad, talking about some things to change the cheer. Soon, they all line up and did the cheer the way they were told, which was actually pretty good "Haha! That was fantastic!" Tooth yells, looking at me "You know you'd be a really good cheerleader."

I glance over at Sunnie and sigh softly. "My parents..." I start to speak, pure terror flickering across my expression at the mere mention of them, "...would never allow it unfortunately. They're barely going along with me going to school." I look down.

Sunnie, feeling the need to cheer me up, walked over to them "Besides!" She grins "She doesn't have as good moves as me!" Sunnie states, doing tons of weird dance moves and ending it with jazzhands. "Tada!"

I smile and start giggling softly at my sister's dance moves. I check my pockets, sighing softly in relief when all the bandages and such I packed are in there.

Tooth chuckles at my sister too. "Well, you two should probably find your classes."

I nod and smile. "True." I stretch, my shirt coming up a bit, showing some bruises and scars on my stomach, as if someone had stabbed me there with glass often in the past. I am unhealthily thin because I hadn't eaten in at least a month, only just a small bowl of chicken noodle soup that Sunnie had managed to sneak me.

Tooth gasps when she notices this "oh my....what happened?.."

I tug down my shirt and gulp nervously. "N-nothing...sorry, I gtg bye!!" I said before I bolted out of the gym

Sunnie looked at her than tooth "ey uh, nice ta meet ya?.." she then runs out after me.

Tooth watches then leave both confused and worried "bye?...."

I accidentally run into a dude with yellow hair, who I recognize as Sandy, and wince a little because it jostled my cracked ribs

Sandy wakes up when I run into him and glares slightly at me without saying anything.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to run into you" I said as I scrambled back a bit.

Sunnie, of course, then runs and trips over Angel and falls "well..." she said giggling.

Sandy then raises a brow at that.

Jack, who had saw this happen, sighs.

I saw Angel and I had to smile faintly, though it quickly dries up when I notice something different about her...she almost never wore her hair in a braid, always preferring to either wear it down or just in a ponytail, and it was like she was wearing makeup all over her face...

(Improvised human Bunny)

A hand waves infront of my face "eloooo there Jack, earth to Jack" said no other than Bunny.

I blink and look at Bunny. "Sorry I got distracted....looking at the new girl"

Tooth walks by before noticing us looking at Angel so she walks over to us "I met her earlier, she was covered in bruises and I don't know why"

I blink a bit and try to remember what she was like....before. "She could have accidentally ran into something....or maybe abusive parents?..." I said, thinking out loud.

Tooth looked at me wide eyed "why would you think that?"

I sigh softly. "Her features are dulled like a person wearing makeup, and I've noticed she walks with a slight limp..."

"Stalker much" Bunny muttered grinning and elbows me a bit.

I blush softly and mutters. "She just looked interesting..." I lied, in really I kind of miss her so I couldn't have helped but study her.

Bunny grinned "oh I see Jack's got a crush" he said putting me in a headlock and ruffling his hair causing tooth to giggle.

"Stapit" I said, laughing softly.

Angel looks over at us and smiles, her gaze shifts to me and I swear I could see a blush light up her cheeks a cute pink

Behind Angel her sister was trying to get Sandy to talk, yea good luck with that.

Sandy just stood there slightly amused by Sunnie.

Angel walks over to us, she had a slight but somewhat noticeable limp, I notice that she was almost too big on her unhealthily thin body...I mean you could almost see the bones in her neck. "Hello there, my name is Angel Marie Dare...what's yours?" She asked, tilting her head to the side cutely. She then tripped over her own feet and crashed into me...the next thing I know we were on the floor...

With her on top of me...

Kissing

Tooth and Sunnie started squealing like idiots.

Bunny grinned "knew it"

Angel and I blush heavily and scramble away from each other, our eyes wide.

Sunnie suddenly freezes "wait" she looks at me "you better not hurt her or you will have a bad time"

I look at the girl, who I presume to be Angel's sister, and raise a slight eyebrow. "Thanks for the warning I guess..."

Sunnie suddenly goes back to a happy smiling version of herself "Welcome!"

Angel looks at Marionette, who was still laughing softly from when Angel and I had kissed. She smirks and mutters something.

_~^~_ 3rd person's pov _~^~_

Angel sighs softly as she rides her skateboard to the park since a group of people was meeting there, and they invited her. She turns on the main road and spots Jamie walking across the street, so absorbed in reading a book he doesn't see the car heading towards him. ".Seriously?" She mutters before she speeds up, the park mostly forgotten. She pushes Jamie out of the way...screaming out in pain when she got hit instead

Toby heard a scream and looked to see where it came from "o-oh my..."

Jack, hearing Angel's scream, runs to where it came from. Her starts to panic when he sees Angel on the ground, whimpering on the ground. It looked like at least her Ankle and wrist were broken, though there was probably more damage done...

The person who had hit her just drives off

Jamie was on the ground, unharmed, looking at Angel shocked. He honestly hadn't known that the car was coming...

Tooth and bunny were just walking out of the school to see what happened and they were currently running over to them.

Toby aswell started heading towards them.

Jack runs over to Angel and kneels down beside her before he picks her up gently, gathering her in his arms. "Angel..."

Angel smiles softly up at jack, 2 of he cracked ribs had broken, she starts coughing up some blood because it had pierced her lungs.

Sunnie saw the crowd forming and walked over confusion covering her face "hey what going on-" she froze when she saw it was her sister and she gasped "Angel!!! What happened?!"

"I-i was about to get hit by a car and she had pushed me out of the way...she got hit instead" Jamie said, still shocked at what just happened.

Manny was standing in the back, a faint smile finds its way onto his face before he makes it fade. 'She'd do well as a spirit...and as a miraculous holder' he thought, tilting her head to the side.

Allocco, the health teacher, quickly walks through the crowd. She starts commanding the crowd, telling people what to do...to be honest she was somewhat used to taking control of situations like this.

Jack nods and supports Angel's head, holding her neck and head still.

Angel groans softly and whimpers a bit, her body hurt and she wasn't looking forward to her parents finding out....

Sunnie just stared at her hands still clasped over her mouth worried for her sister.

Toby ran a hand through his hair to keep it out of his eyes before muttering "I've seen worse..."

Sunnie of course heard him and sent a spine chilling glare at him.

Adrian, who was one of the people in the crowd, looked at her worriedly before looking at Allocco "anything I could help with?"

Marionette sighed deeply at Adrian, he's so nice too, she thought dreamingly.

Allocco look at Adrian. "You're father is business partners with the girl's parents, correct?" She asked, knowing the answer was yes

"Uh yes I believe so" Adrian answered.

"You might have their numbers in your phone then" Allocco said, knowing that he does.

Angel starts falling unconscious, her eyes fluttering shut.

Adrian pulls out his phone and searched for the number "yea right here-"

"Wait!" Sunnie yelled interrupting him and trying but failing to grab his phone "please don't call them! Please!..." she begged.

Jack notices that Angel was falling unconscious and panics, he starts trying to get her to focus on him...focus on something because he didn't want to lose her again

Marionette, finally snapping out of Layla land, looked at Sunnie confused "why wouldn't you call Your parents?"

Sunnie looked at her with panicked eyes not wanting to say anything but knowing she had to at this point "t-they don't care about her! Alright?! They hurt her all the time! She could die for all they cared! But I do care so please...please don't call them..." she told them sobbing at this point.

Tooth stared at her surprised before remembering the bruises "they....beat her?.." she croaked wide eyed.

Sunnie nods slightly looking down "and I can't do anything about it..."

Toby, who didn't seem to care before, stared curiously at Angel, even though he was slightly scared for her on the inside.

Angel smiles softly at Jack, she could feel the life fading from her body. She reaches up weakly and wipes some of Jack's tears. "D-don't...cry over me...I-I'm not worth it..." she said softly, her eyes starting to glaze over

Jack starts crying harder. "D-don't say that! You are worth it!" He said, practically sobbing.

A boy named Ben took off his hat and bowed his head slightly, some others did the same.

Sunnie sobbed hoping her sister was okay and muttering things like "she'll be fine" and "it's gonna be perfectly fine" as Tooth and Toby comforted her.

Allocco takes off her crown and bows her head in respect, closing her eyes

Angel goes limp as the life fades from her body, her hand falling to her side.

"No....NOO!" Jack shouts the last part, shaking her now lifeless body.
