Today was the announcement. Adrien was curious what it was. If anything, he noticed that Nathalie has been smiling. That's rather strange. She doesn't smile a lot. So Adrien figured it better be good. He got ready, took a shower, fed plagg who was annoying as ever, and dressed semi formally. He walked down the stairs and asked Nathalie a question.

"Hey Nathalie, can I ask you a question?" Adrien implored.
"Yes Adrien?" She replied.
"When is the uh... Announcement?" He asked kinda nervous.

"O-oh that..." She stuttered. Why?

"Um around 6 pm, at dinner time." She said.

"OK thanks." He replied.

He was meeting up with Mari today as he was modeling something for her.

He drove to the park, and saw her standing wearing a light blue Jean jacket, a black shirt, and matching light blue jeans. She put her hair is a bun, and had a notepad in her hands. She looked cute, but there was no way he was telling her that.

"Hi Mari!" Adrien said.

"Oh hi Adrien." "Are you ready?" She asked.

"Yeah." He replied.

"Ok, please go wait over there, makeup artists and stuff will help you get dressed." She said, not looking up.

"Alright." Adrien said.

He walked over to the artists, and he got dressed. After he was done, he was actually impressed. he wore a three piece suit that was brown, gold, and brass. Brown primarily. Gold and brass rimmed. He wore a top hat, with a cane and proper shoes. Adrien had cogs on the hat and a pocket watch in his hand. It was his guess she wanted a steampunk design. He did the shoots, and requested that a few of them were sent to his father.

Mari wanted to talk, but it was half a hour till dinner, and she was busy. Adrien just said goodbye and planned to hang out with her tomorrow. He drove down to the house, got out, and went to his room. He got dressed in a more formal outfit, as he was told to do so, and walked downstairs. Adrien sat, and waited patiently for his father. He walked over, formally dressed himself, yet looked serious. But then, he did something so out of character Adrien wondered if it was a illusion.

He smiled. Yes, he smiled. Like seriously, he actually smiled.

"Adrien, it has come to my attention that you've suffered a lot these past 4 years due to your mother's disappearance. I realize, that now, I am partially to blame." He said, still smiling.

"But, you no longer will feel that pain." He said.

"W-what do you mean father?" Adrien stammered.

"You have a new mother." He said.

Adrien's eyes widened, who?

"Who father?" Adrien asked.

"Nathalie, please rise." He said.

She did and spoke. "I am your father's fiancée."

"My father's what???!" Adrien yelled.
"I apologize, I should have known I wouldn't be ac-"
"No I mean I was just shocked." "I'm glad actually." Adrien replied, returning a smile.
"Really?" Nathalie said.
"Ahem." My father cleared his throat. Oops. We practically forgot he existed. Adrien cringed.
"If I may dear." My father said.
"Of course." She walked out.

Awkward silence.

"So...Uh you and Nathalie?" I said shyly.

"Yes." He said kinda sternly.

"Wow." "It isn't just because of me right?" I asked, needing to be sure.

"No. As much as your new mother will never take your biological mothers place, she will have a seat in this family." He said.
"Oh wow."Adrien said.

"Who's Nathalie's maid of honor?" He asked.

"Audrey Bourgeois is the maid of honor. She was both Nathalie's and your mothers best friend and my first partner in the fashion industry. I hope of course, that you will be my best man?"

"I would be honored." Adrien replied.

He hugged him, and then spoke. "I must go, as I have business to attend too." And he left. Adrien was happy he was changing. Wow, who knew?

Gabriel walked over to the painting and went into his secret lair. He cared for Emile with all his heart but, he somehow, got used to her death and loved Nathalie. It wasn't just that either. The cost...could've potentially been Adrien or someones life. He hoped she didn't mind. Nathalie came in.

"Sir, I have a question." She said.
He spoke "Yes?"
"If you decided you can't bring Emile back, why are you staying as hawkmoth?" She asked.
"Simple." He replied. "I learned who ladybug is. I've known about Chat for a while. Ladybug, is Marinette Dupain Cheng. I don't want her to separate from Chat, also known as Adrien, as Ladybug. I will send perhaps another challenge. Maybe tell them I surrender and reveal myself privately." I said.

"Who knew." Sighed Nathalie wistfully.
"Knew what?" He asked.
"That'd we fall in love and get married." She answered.
"I suppose." He replied.
"I suppose you will never completely change." she whispered.

Well, what a fabulous twist! How unexpected, no? So do you ship it? I don't really know quite yet. I mean, technically, I must ship it for this story line right? But at the same time, idk which to ship more. Tell me your thoughts! Further, that's two weddings to add! His father's and Chloe's. I think I messed up Gabriel and Nathalie's character, but whatever. We all know they secretly ship Adrienette too.
