Mahi (shouting): Cheeku..

Jinks (shouting): Vi..

They both went to Virat and started patting his cheeks but no luck. The doctor asked the wardboys to take Virat to the ward so that he can check him

Mahi: Abhi to theek tha pata nahi kya ho gaya

Doctor: Relax Mr Dhoni. Let me check him. This can be because of stress of Mr Sharma's accident. Let us take the charge okay.

Mahi and Jinks both nodded in yes and the doctor went inside the ward.

Rahul was sitting on the bed in his room. Harry too was sitting beside him as no matter what he knew leaving Rahul all alone can worse the situation which was already in worst state.

Harry: See Rah.. I am just summarising whatever happened. You heard..

Rahul looked at him to which Harry quickly rephrased.

Harry: I mean we heard B-Ro saying leaving Chhotu..

Rahul instantly hissed hearing this and closed his eyes and ears tightly making Harry scared. He hold Rahul tightly not knowing whether it will help or not but he felt it was the right thing to help him at that point of time.

Rahul: Don't use that word please.. It.. it..

Rahul was breathing quite heavily as some quite unclear flashes were running in his mind with some unclear whispers. He again started sweating. Harry started calming him by rubbing his back.

Harry: Calm down Rah. You are not alone. I am here with you. Please calm down.

After a while Rahul calmed down. Harry made him have some water.

Rahul: Thanks

Harry: Mention not.

They sat in the silence for a while.

Rahul: I messed up a big time. Ain't I?

Harry (sarcastically): Oh of course not. How can Mr Rahul be wrong?

Rahul sighed being sad.

Harry: You messed up everything Rah. You have hurt your both brothers. And I just can't understand how you blame B-Ro for doing something for property?

Rahul sighed heavily. He took out his phone and show him a message from Kavita. It was clearly stating that Mr and Mrs Lokesh took money from Sharmas to leave their share of their ancestral property. They used that money to shift to London and for Kavita's studies and in return of making Rohit guardian Mr and Mrs Sharma was going to transfer some of their own properties to him.

Harry was shocked reading the message. He checked the time of the message and it was just after the dinner and before Rahul went to bed. Of course this was all running in his mind since he read the message. He took Rahul in a side hug who kept his head on his shoulder and closed his eyes but instantly opened them as he was just getting those unclear flashes. Their chain of thoughts broke by the call from Jinks to Harry who picked it up instantly.

Harry: Yes Jinks bro. B-Ro mile? Vi Bhai aur Mahi Bhai apke sath hai na?

Jinks: We are all together. Umm.. Harry there's something I want to share.

Harry: Haan boliye

Jinks: Umm.. Harry.. Ro is injured and Vi is unconscious. It would be good if you and Rah come here.

Harry (shocked): What??

Jinks: Ro is out of danger. Doctor is checking Vi. We are in XYZ hospital.

Harry: We are coming

Harry disconnected the call. He instantly took his and Rahul's wallet and hold his hand dragging him with himself.

Rahul: Kya hua Harry? Kidhar leke ja rahe ho mujhe?

Harry: Just come with me.

Harry quickly took a Taxi and they both were going to the hospital. During the entire ride, Harry was worried about all three.. Rohit, Virat and Rahul. Rohit and Virat are injured and here he cannot say anything to Rahul just like that as he just saw him getting into state of panick. He just didn't know how he should break the news to Rahul so he just took him to the hospital.

Reaching at the hospital, Harry paid the bill and again hold Rahul's hand and dragged him. Mahi and Jinks saw them coming.

Rahul: Harry why have you brought me here? You know na I hate..

He said this much when his gaze fell on Mahi and Jinks and instantly his heart skipped a beat feeling uneasy.

Rahul: Aap.. aap log yaha? Sab.. sab theek hai na?

Mahi: Why do you want to know now?

Rahul didn't say anything but looked here and there but couldn't find anyone from RohiRat.

Rahul: B-Ro aur Vi Bhai kidhar hai? Kahi dikh nahi rahe

Before anyone could reply the doctor came from Virat's ward. Mahi and Jinks ran to him whereas Harry and Rahul too followed them.

Jinks: Doctor Virat..

Doctor: He has dislocated his shoulder. Plus his entire hand is swollen. His vitals are quite high. He had a head injury too may be because of impact or blow as you have informed that he pulled Mr Sharma and they both fell.

Mahi and Jinks nodded in yes.

Doctor: He was way too much concerned about Mr Sharma that we had to sedate him. He is out of danger. He will be up in an hour.

Rahul was shocked to even react. Harry too was scared but he was more scared for Rahul. His bestie was going through a lot. He started rubbing his back which helped Rahul a bit.

Rahul (whispering): B-Ro kidhar hai?

Though it was a whisper but all heard it. Doctor pointed towards the left side room. Rahul took baby steps towards the room and saw Rohit was sleeping on the bed with his head wrapped in bandage.

Rahul: When will he be up?

Doctor: Well he should have been up by now. But it looks like something is stopping him from waking up. But you don't worry, let me check him once again.

The doctor went inside the room and started checking Rohit. He saw doctor injecting some medicine in the drip.

Rahul: Harry.. Harry..

Harry: Haa kya hua?

Rahul pointed towards the doctor who was injecting the medicines. Harry took Rahul in a tight hug and started rubbing his back.

Jinks: What happened?

Harry: He always used to get scared of Hospitals and specially injections.Aur abhi..

He trailed off. Jinks nodded in yes sighing. Mahi came there with coffee.

Mahi: Rah.. Come sit here and have some coffee.

Harry and Mahi made him sit on the chair there and almost forcefully made him have few sips of coffee.

Mahi: It will help you to stay calm Rah. Please have it.

Rahul nodded in yes and drank it. Harry was continuously saying him that he was there with him and he was not alone which was quite strange for Jinks and Mahi both but before anyone of them could ask anything, The doctor came out. Rahul ran to him.

Rahul: B-Ro?

Doctor: He is fine but his vitals are still a bit high. So for his betterment we have kept him on sedation for tonight.  He will be up in the morning.

Mahi nodded in yes but found the doctor was keenly looking at Rahul who hid behind Harry. Mahi came forward almost hiding Harry and Rahul and Jinks too did the same as he too noticed it.

Mahi: Thank you doctor

Doctor: It's my duty. But please take care of this kid. He looks horrified.

He said while pointing towards Rahul to which Mahi and Jinks nodded in yes and the doctor left from there. Rahul sat on the chair with a thud.

Rahul: It's.. It's because of me. Maine.. maine..

Mahi: Rah.. It's not because of you but because of your words which came out because of your lack of trust. Rah.. Every relationship gets built upon one main factor and its trust. You didn't trust your brothers enough to not at least hurt them if not accepting them as brothers.

Rahul sat there all numb and rest all really didn't know whether he heard what Mahi said or not but none say anything further. After a while Jinks spoke.

Jinks: Should we inform Ritz and Anu?

Rahul (almost shouting): No..

Harry: Rah.. They are their wives. They must be informed.

Rahul: No Harry.

Harry: What? They are not their wives??

All looked at him as if he has grown horns but he was looking back at them innocently. Rahul whacked him.

Rahul: What I meant was We cannot inform Bhabhis you idiot. At least not now. Ritz bhabhi is weak. Doctor has specially asked her to take rest and don't stress. Aise me we can't.

Jinks: Okay At least let's inform Anu

Rahul looked at Mahi.

Rahul: Anu bhabhi shaadi ke baad pehli baar kam pe gayi hai. Vi bhai is injured so pata chalte hi woh sidhe aa jayegi. But should we inform her without asking Vi bhai?

Mahi understood what he was trying convey. Virat was already in a guilt trip of marrying Anu quite earlier and her leaving her dream role. And now if she even leaves this work for him, he would not be able to forgive himself.

Mahi: Rah is right. Let's ask Vi before calling Anu.

Rest all agreed.

Rahul: I am sorry. Main.. main aise react nahi karna chahta tha lekin..

Mahi: Rah.. you have to control your insecurities. This is not the way you live your life.

Rahul was just sitting there looking down.

Harry: Vi bhai ke paas chale? Kabhi bhi hosh aa sakta hai unhe

Rest all agreed and Rahul almost ran inside the ward and stood at a side looking at the injured Virat. Mahi sat beside Virat on the bed and caressed his hair. Harry stood beside Rahul seeing him quite disturbed as he was in the hospital. Virat was getting consciousness as the sedation's effect was wearing off. He opened his eyes slowly and adjusted to the lights.

Mahi: Cheeku.. How are you feeling bachcha?

Virat nodded in yes and was about to get up but Mahi didn't allow him.

Mahi: Lete raho.

Virat: Ro?

Jinks: Theek hai woh. Doctor ne bola hai subah tak hosh ayega

Virat was about to move his shoulder when Rahul hold him thus stopping him from moving it. Virat saw him and was surprised to see him there.

Rahul (low breaking voice): Shoulder.. dislocated.. don't move

He said this much while controlling his emotions. Virat could very well understood that he was getting emotional and at the verge of crying but he would not. He knew he wanted his Vi bhai but does he really need him? The only thought was going on in Virat's mind.

Virat (in mind): Jis insaan ko apne bhai pe bharosa nahi.. jo apne bhai ko bhai nahi man saka usne mujhe kaise bhai mana hoga. Shayad.. shayad main hi.. main hi pagal tha jo usko apna bhai man betha

As Virat didn't say anything, Rahul dared to ask him about forgiveness.

Rahul: I am sorry Vi bhai. I understood I behaved like a jerk.

Virat looked at other side while controlling his own tears. Rahul's face fell more. He was looking pale.

Virat: Bhai.. Ro ko dekhna hai please..

He asked with so much vulnerability in his voice that for a second Mahi and Jinks both got scared but they thought to better not say anything and help him in staying calm.

Jinks: Let me ask doctor okay. If he allows, We will take you there

Harry: Aap dono ho aao. I am here with Rah

Harry said it particularly looking towards Virat who just blinked his eyes. He really didn't know about what Rahul thinks of his relationship with him but he had considered him as his younger brother and he will always be the one and he cannot stop looking after him even though he was hurt. Harry's words gave him that assurance that his kiddo.. his younger brother was not alone right now.

Jinks and Mahi asked the doctor and he allowed. They took Virat to Rohit's ward on the wheelchair followed by Harry and Rahul. Tears fell from Virat's eyes seeing Rohit like this. He caressed his hair.

Virat: I am sorry Ro. I am so sorry.

Doctor who has also come with them to check Rohit informed them that Rohit's vitals are very much better than earlier. All sighed in relief.

Virat: Doctor.. Can you please shift me in this ward only? I would not be able to stay there please

Doctor allowed and asked the staff to arrange everything as he could see the bonds they share.

Virat: Harry.. You guys go to hotel or home wherever you guys feel.

Rahul: Hum yahi rukenge

Virat: Jinko dar lagta hai hospital se woh hospital me nahi rukte Harry

Rahul: Itni hi fikar hai to meri taraf dekh ke baat karo na aap Vi bhai

Virat continued caressing Rohit's hair. The arrangements was done and doctor came to have a final look.

Virat: Doctor.. Are kids allowed to stay here at night?

Doctor: Of course not

Rahul: I am not a kid

Virat: Doctor.. I guess minors are not allowed if we consider elder kids

Doctor who was getting that he was being sandwiched between the brothers but was also somewhere getting why Virat wanted Rahul to go as that kid was looking miserable to him too.

Doctor: Well minors are too not allowed

Rahul: I am not minor.

Mahi: You are Rah.

Rahul: I am about to turn 18 in few months. You all cannot do this to me.

Virat: Rules are rules

Virat was still caressing Rohit's hair not at all looking at Rahul. And Rahul was adamant on staying there.

Rahul: Doctor.. Sir can someone from family like with blood relation stay if any other family member who is in blood relation is not present?  I am B-Ro's younger brother. And none from our family is currently available. These guys are friends who are like family. But on the basis or priority and preferences, who will be allowed?

Doctor: Well if you are his real brother and anyways you are about to turn 18, I can't stop you from staying

Virat: But.. Mahi bhai and Jinks are here. Kids can go.

Rahul: Aap hi to kehte ho Vi bhai.. Rules are rules

Virat for the first time looked at Rahul and glared at him to which he received an equally intense glare from his Rahuliya why? because he was trying to send him away when his both brothers were injured and he was somewhere the main reason behind it. Doctor was looking at the glaring match with raised eyebrows. Harry was smiling foolishly whereas Mahi shook his head at their antics. Jinks finally interrupted.

Jinks: Thanks Doctor. We will take care of both

The doctor nodded and left. Mahi came to Virat and took his wheelchair to his bed. Virat made a pout but he and Jinks made him lie down on the bed. Virat was about to say something but Jinks spoke.

Jinks: Vi.. Should we inform Anu?

Virat shook his head in no after a while. He had tears in his eyes which were falling without any warning. He wanted to stop them and be strong but his own strength was vanished somewhere. Mahi started caressing his hair.

Mahi: Take rest Cheeks. Everything will be fine. We will sort everything okay. Don't take stress. Take rest.

Soon Virat slept. Rahul went to Rohit and sat on the stool beside the bed. He hold his hand in his and kept his head on the bed.

Rahul (in low voice): I am sorry B-Ro. Aap please jaldi se theek ho jao. (in mind) Phir main khud aap sab se door chala jaunga.

Tears fell from his eyes. Rahul freed Rohit's hand, put it on his chest and wiped his own tears but they were not stopping. None of the others dared to go to him as they knew if they go to him, he would stop expressing himself. This one is the most complicated amongst all kiddos.

Rahul snuggled more to Rohit hugging him by his waist.. hiding his face completely.. He was silently weeping badly. Mahi, Jinks and Harry could not understand what they should do to calm him. None of them was good in handling an emotional Rahul. It was always Virat who has handled his emotional side.

Rahul again snuggled more though there was no room for him but still he snuggled more as he was just wishing to hide somewhere. The things he came to know.. the way he behaved and disrespected his brothers have broken him to the core. He slept while shedding tears only. Seeing him sleeping, rest all too thought to have a small nap and they too slept on the sofa kept there in sitting position.

Rahul's movements made Rohit's hand kept on his chest got disbalanced and it fell on Rahul's head calming the visibly disturbed sleeping Rahul.

On the next day, Mahi woke up first and greeted with the scene of Rohit's hand on Rahul's head. A smile crept on his face. He was having a positive feeling that things will get better even though he was still worried for all 2 of his kiddos and their kiddo.

The doctor came which woke Jinks too. He made Harry slept comfortably on sofa while the doctor was checking Virat. Once done he turned to check Rohit and found his hand on Rahul's head.

Mahi: Rah ko utha deta hoon just give me a minute.

Doctor: No let him be. The kid was really scared yesterday. Let him have some peaceful sleep.

Saying so doctor started checking Rohit. He checked his vitals but he was having a frown after checking him.

Jinks: Is everything fine doc?

Doctor: Virat is doing good. Mr Sharma's vitals are stable now but my only concern is he is still unconscious.

Mahi: Lekin apne to kaha tha na ki woh khatre se bahar hai

Doctor: He is out of danger. Human brain is a very interesting and weird thing. His brain is definitely trying to protect him from something. See I cannot explain you guys much but let him get consciousness which he will be getting soon I believe.

The doctor left from there making Mahi and Jinks quite tensed. After a while Harry and Rahul both woke up. They all got freshen up. Mahi woke Virat up.

Virat: Bhai Ro..

Mahi: Behosh hai abhi bhi

Virat: Abhi tak kyu bhai? Kuchh.. kuchh hua hai kya Ro ko?

He asked being panicked. Seeing him panicked Rahul panicked more. He almost shouted.

Rahul: Kuchh nahi hua. Kuchh nahi hua B-Ro ko.

Rahul went to Rohit and hold his hand.

Rahul: B-Ro.. B-Ro please utho na. Dekho na Vi Bhai injured hai phir bhi panick kar rahe hai. You know na unko move nahi hona phir bhi ho rahe hai. Please utho na.

Harry: Rah..

Rahul: Harry tell him to wake up. Tell him he is scaring us. Aise to Sara din.. Sara din..

Rahul closed his eyes tightly and took some deep breaths.

Rahul: Chhotu.. Chhotu

As soon as he spoke those words, he again started having those flashes. He was having this kind of issues like some unclear whispers since he came to his original family but everything was manageable but from the time Rohit started calling him Chhotu, he started having unclear flashes which used to scare him a lot. And why not at the end of the day he was still a kid. Rahul was sweating and his hold on Rohit's hand started shaking as his hand started shivering out of fear. He was breathing heavily.

Rest all were shocked to see his state.

Rahul: Chho..

Harry (shouted): Rah stop.

His shout made Rahul come out of his daze. Tears started falling from his eyes without him being aware of it. Rahul turned to Rohit.

Rahul (crying): Please wake up.. wake up Bhaiya.. please..

Harry came to Rahul and hold him by his shoulder.

Harry: Rah calm down please

Harry tried to calm him but there is no change in his state. Virat slowly got up from the bed and he with help of Mahi and Jinks slowly went to Rahul. He was still shocked seeing the state of Rahul.

Rohit was feeling uneasy as someone's cries was shaking him from his loving deep slumber. He wanted to hold that person and comforted him. A frown came on his face. He felt someone has hold his hand but that hand was shivering. Rohit's fingers slowly hold that shivering hand.

Rahul saw the hold and looked at Rohit with quite shocked expression. 

Rahul (shouting): Doctor.. doctor.. call the doctor

Jinks quickly pressed the emergency button. The doctor rushed inside.

Rahul: B-Ro ne hath.. hath pakda

Doctor was checking Rohit when Rohit started getting consciousness making everyone sighed in relief.

Rohit opened his eyes and looked here and there. First his gaze fell on Rahul whose heart skipped a beat. Rohit frowned seeing him there.

Rohit then saw Jinks and Mahi and he smiled slightly. Then he saw Virat and his smile vanished and anger took over.

Rohit: You idiot Virat Kohli. Were you out of your mind? Who told you to pull me like that?

Virat: To kisne bola tha andho ki tarah chalne ko?

As usual Virat retorted back. The doctor was looking at them with quite surprised expression whereas rest all too were surprised as Rohit was upset with Virat before the accident.

Rohit saw Virat's hand in sling.

Rohit: You Mr Idiot Kohli. Abhi thode time me tumhari shadi hai aur hath tudwa liya na

Rest all frowned hearing this whereas the doctor sighed. He was having a hunch that something is not right internally and he came out right.

Doctor: Mr Sharma.. please calm down and answer few of my questions. It's a normal procedure we follow when a patient has got a blow on his head.

Rohit nodded in yes.

Doctor: Your name please

Rohit: Rohit Sharma

Doctor: Try to move your head left and right and see if you are feeling any pain or dizziness.

Rohit did the same and informed that he feels okay.

Doctor: What's the date today?

Rohit: I am very bad with dates doctor

Rohit said in embarrassment.

Doctor: Okay. You said Mr Virat's marriage is on the cards. Tell the current month

Rohit: November

Doctor: Have you felt any uneasiness?

Rohit: Not now.

Doctor nodded in yes and asked him to take some rest. Then he looked at others.

Doctor: Mr Dhoni please come outside. I need to discuss about the medicines

Mahi asked Rohit to take care and went with doctor followed by Jinks, Harry and Rahul leaving Rohit and Virat alone. Virat sat on the stool.

Virat: Ro.. I am sorry. I didn't want to hurt you.

Tears fell from his eyes.

Rohit: Hey Vi.. pagal hai kya? Look at yourself. You are more injured than me.

Virat just kept his head on Rohit's bed shedding tears whereas Rohit started caressing his hair to calm him.

On the other side Mahi, Jinks, Harry and Rahul were looking at Doctor with tensed face.

Doctor: Mr Sharma has got partial Amnesia. He has forgotten some part of his memory because of the blow. His mind was protecting him from remembering something which had a very high impact on him.

Rahul looked down.

Rahul: It's all because of me.

Harry hold him.

Doctor: Calm down kid. And you all please don't panick. It happens sometimes when your mind tries to protect yourself from something. It's a temporary situation and his memories will come back soon. But he needs proper rest and most importantly stress free environment. And if possible, I feel you guys should not disclose anything which makes him shocked. His situation can worsen

Mahi: We understand Doctor. Thanks.

Doctor: You guys can take him tomorrow if everything went well today.

Doctor went from there. Mahi and Jinks composed themselves and went inside the ward.

Rahul's mind was still stuck at the doctor's words that Rohit has got The Partial Amnesia and the reason for it was he himself. But The Partial Amnesia means Rohit has forgotten him. His real family.. his real brother has forgotten him and the reason for the same was he and his words.. his actions.. He was the one who let his brother go away from him. Mahi's words rang in his mind when he said that he was not worthy of the love Rohit and Virat were showering.

Rahul (in mind): Am I Really Not Worthy of a Family?
