"I thought a phone call to Mom was going to make me feel better, but now I just feel worse," Peder said, leaning back into his seat.
" This is the only way we will get our parents off our backs, we agreed," Flynn said keeping his grip tight on the steering wheel

"What if they just send us home anyway?" Rose asked.

"They won't have time to, we're already here," Flynn said, pulling up to the four corners monument. The four corners represented the four corners of Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico, and Utah. This monument is where they all meet.

"What's going to happen is we will get out, take a picture, send it then be on our merry way before our parents even get here," Flynn stated as he put the van in park.

"I can't do it Flynn," Peder replied, "We already lied about how close we were to this place , I can't just leave them again,"

Peder stormed out of the van, he felt the guilt weighing on him like an anchor. He had never done anything like this and now he knew why. The guilt of disappointing his parents was screaming at him and it wouldn't go away until he saw them face to face.

"Peder get a grip man what is going on with you?" Flynn shouted following after him.
"Don't you understand!?" Peder yelled, "I'm the one who planned this out this is my fault, I don't even know how the hell I'm going to be able to even look at my dad right now let alone think of driving off,"

Silence filled the empty space, Flynn had never seen his friend this upset before, he had not realized how much  he was carrying on his shoulders.

"Hey, we're in this together Peder," Flynn said calmly, "All of us, okay?"

"Peder we all agreed to it, heck I begged to come along," Rose smiled, "It's okay we can wait here if you want too though,"

"Yeah I mean even if the trip stops here I think we can all say we've had a pretty good time," Hallie said, "And that is thanks to you,"

"I'm so sorry guys I'm I'm so sorry," Peder stammered

"Hey you didn't disappoint us," Hallie said, "You're my younger brother by two minutes and thirty one seconds, don't you forget, I'm still the boss of you, so I'm telling you not to be so hard on yourself okay?"

Peder chuckled, "Okay,"

"Rose do you still have your phone?" Hallie asked,

"Yeah but it's off,"
"Well turn it on and let's see how far our parents are maybe we can go get some food before they get here, I think we all need a break,"

Meanwhile....

"Rosie's phone is back on," Rapunzel said looking at her iphone.

"How close are they?" Jack asked,

Rapunzel's eyes squinted to make sure she had read the right thing, " it says they are already there,"

"What?! How is that possible!" Merida shouted,

"They didn't tell us how close they were to the monument," Hiccup reminded them,
Jack rolled his eyes and slammed his hand on the steering wheel, "God I feel like such an-"

"Wait their leaving," Rapunzel said quickly, their headed to a diner it looks like, Shari's? I don't get it are they leaving without us?"

Rapunzel's words were still in the air when her phone chimed again this time signifying a text from her daughter,

"Change of plans, Getting food meet us at Shari's...704 Atticus Way"

"Do you think they've given up or is it a trick?"Merida asked,

"I don't know but I'm kind of bummed I wouldn't mind seeing that monument," Hiccup said.
