Previous Story Twin Series 4 - Hum Bewafa Hargiz Na The (Posted On 9 – Jun - 2022)

This is just a crazy idea I got. This is a light hearted read. There isn't much story. just my another attempt at (long) drabble.

A quick question.

I have a story idea for Krish from Twin Series 4 - Hum Bewafa Hargiz Na The. If I EVER got around to writing that story, do you guys prefer that I write a story on "Krish" or I rename the characters to Omkara and Gauri like I did in my previous twin stories?

Omkara couldn't take his eyes off of her. this was not the first time he was seeing her. but this was the first time, she had taken his breath away. she was his father's friend's daughter and now, they were going to be related by marriage, his so-called­­ elder brother was marrying her elder sister.

She had been away at college and had just got back only recently but strangely they hadn't run into each other till today, the wedding day.

They grew up pretty much together but he had always considered her the kid because she was the youngest and he and his brother had their set of friends with whom he hung out with. He had pretty much ignored her with the kid status because she was younger to him by all of 4 years and now, he regretted it terribly. God, she is a true beauty.

Hearing his family call him, he goes to the mandap and sees that the marriage was commencing. His brother turns to look at him and he smiles at him and Shivaay smiles back, then his gaze turning back to his almost wife. Omkara could understand that, his own gaze going to her, she was standing with her family near the mandap, as she spoke to her friend.

He was watching her, when she looks at him, and seeing him, her eyes widen in surprise and she waves at him. he waves back. she turns to whisper something to her friend, but he just continued to look at her, dreaming of his life with her.

Omkara was looking for her when, "Hi Omkara!"

Surprised, Omkara turns back and sees her smiling at him. "Hey!!!" Omkara says smiling excitedly.

"Long time!"

"Loooong looong time!" Omkara replies. "How have you been?"

"Good... and you? you know, I was asking jeeju about you the other day."

"Really?" Omkara asks her with a sexy smile.

"So, what's happening at your end?"

"Same old... you tell me?"

"Are you seeing someone?" she asks him with an excited whisper.

"No... why?" Omkara asks her with a flirty smile.

"Awesome!" she says excitedly.

"I know."

"I know someone who is perfect for you!"

"What?" Omkara asks, his smile dropping.

"Yeah, my best friend... there she is." She points at a girl and he doesn't bother to look, his gaze on her.

"I think she is perfect for you. You guys are so alike. I met her in college and ever since then I've been telling her that you guys are perfect for each other."

"Hmmm."

"Do you want to go on a date with her tomorrow?" she asks excitedly.

"No." Omkara says.

"Why?" she asks pouting sadly.

"Can you tell your best friend something for me?"

"Sure." She replies smiling excitedly.

Omkara leans down and whispers to her. "Tell her, that I am crushing on her best friend and I want to go on a date with her best friend."

"What?" she asks in a shocked whisper.

"Ask her to convince her best friend and fix a date and place, and to let me know." Omkara tells her and walks off.

Omkara was standing on the upper level as he watched the guests mingling around.

"Hots for my best friend... huh?"

Curious he turns and sees a girl grinning at him with raised eye brows.

"Erm... I..." Omkara stammers.

"Relax! She is going through her Cher Horowitz phase."

"What?" he asks feeling completely lost.

"Clueless movie. She got one of our friend with another friend of hers. And she thinks she is some matchmaking goddess. Her next project is us. I told her not to ask you. she has been pestering me for ages now, just to get her off my back I said I would go on a date with you. she didn't expect you to spin this on her."

Omkara smiles feeling relieved. "How is she doing?"

"Shocked as heck." Her friend laughs.

Omkara chuckles.

"Were you serious? Or just getting her off your back?"

"I am serious! She is my Swapan Sundari!"

"Should I be offended?" her friend asks frowning.

"You're Param Sundari."

"So smooth." She says with a grin.

He chuckles.

"Oh my! Who is that hottie?" she asks in obvious interest.

Omkara follows her gaze. "That's Rudra. He is my brother's friend. They play cricket together."

"Is he your friend?" she asks still drooling after him.

Seeing her obvious interest, he says with a sexy drawl. "I can be his friend."

"What do you mean?" she asks, finally taking her gaze off Rudra.

"You help me, I'll talk to him about going on a date with you."

"We've a deal." She says extending her hand.

Omkara takes her hand in his. "By the way, I'm Omkara Singh Oberoi."

"Very nice to meet you, Omkara. I'm Gauri Kumari Sharma."

"Nice to meet you, Gauri."

"Gauri!" Omkara pulls her aside.

"What?" Gauri turns to Omkara.

"It's set. Rudra is interested. You are on for tomorrow."

"Tomorrow?" Gauri asks shocked. "I need to get new dress. Have to go to the parlor. Oh my God!"

"You're damn hot! Why bother with all that?" Omkara asks her confused.

"Oh really?" Gauri asks with an over exaggerated shy smile.

"Any doubts, param sundari?" Omkara asks her with a sexy smile.

Gauri laughs.

"So, on for tomorrow?"

"Yes!!" Gauri says smiling excitedly.

"What about Bhavya?" Omkara asks her.

"She is a tough cookie." Gauri tells him as she looked around for Bhavya.

Omkara nods with a frown.

"So, I'll tell her, that I spoke to you and you agreed to go on a date with me, you were just joking about wanting to go on a date with her."

"Why?" Omkara asks confused.

"She still thinks that you are a little lost and doesn't know what you need in life." Gauri says rolling her eyes.

Omkara frowns offended. "Really?"

"Says the same about me." double eye roll. "So, I'll tell her to come with me for the date with you for moral support. We reach club, then I will tell her at the last minute."

"What if she walks off?" Omkara asks her shocked.

"Do your thing. Charm her, man! You're a hottie. I'm sure she just needs a little bit nudging to get her off her Mata Cher bhoot."

"Hmmm. So double date?"

"Yeah."

"We're on. By the way, are we going clubbing?"

"All the best." Bhavya excitedly whispers to Gauri as they walked into the club.

"All the best to you too." Gauri excitedly whispers to her.

"Huh? Why?" Bhavya asks confused.

"Because babes, that's my date." Gauri says excitedly pointing at Rudra.

"What?" Bhavya looks at Rudra in shock.

"Isn't he hot?" Gauri asks dreamily drooling as she waved at Rudra.

"Who is he?" Bhavya asks confused. "And where is Omkara?"

"He is your jeeju's friend. He plays cricket." Gauri excitedly tells her.

"Huh?"

"And your date is here!" Gauri says noticing Omkara walk in.

"My date?" Bhavya asks in a shocked whisper.

"Hey Bhavya!" Omkara says with a sexy smile.

Bhavya turns around in shock, her mouth drops open.

"Omkara?" Bhavya whispers in shock then she turns to gape at Gauri.

"Your date."

"My date?" Bhavya whispers in shock.

"Isn't she cute?" Omkara asks Gauri.

"The cutest!" Gauri replies smiling happily. "Have fun." Gauri winks at Omkara and turning around she walks off to Rudra.

Bhavya watches Gauri walk off. "Gauri... come back here." Bhavya whispers to her angrily.

"She has gone to the guy she likes." Omkara whispers to her. "And I am with the girl I like."

"Omkara... I came with her." Bhavya replies in panic.

"So what? Now, you be with me." Omkara tells her as he took her hand and led her to their table.

"Hey..." Gauri tells Rudra with nervous excitement.

"Hey." Rudra says as he stood up and hugged Gauri.

"Sorry, I was late."

"No problem, actually I was early." Rudra tells her smiling as they sat down. "isn't that Omkara?" Rudra asks curiously.

"Yeah."

"He didn't tell me he would be here." Rudra replies confused.

"That is my best friend, Bhavya with him. Her sister married Omkara's brother." Gauri tells him.

"Oh okay. Anika's sister. So they are dating?" Rudra asks curiously.

"Not yet." Gauri replies laughing. "Actually, Omkara and I tricked her to come today. she is trying to set me up with Omkara but he likes her. so, I told her that I am on a date with Omkara and need her for moral support and brought her with me."

"That is cheating." Rudra replies shocked.

"She is my best friend. Everything is fair in friendship and war." Gauri waves it off with a chuckle.

"So, tricking her in going on a date with Omkara is friendship or war?" Rudra asks with a teasing smile.

Gauri laughs hearing that. "Omkara would say love."

"Psst Gauri... Gauri..."

Curiously Gauri turns to look at Omkara and Bhavya's table. Omkara was grinning at her.

"What?" Gauri mouths to him.

Grinning, Omkara points his finger to his ear and points it up.

Curious, Gauri listens.

"Param Sundari!!!" Gauri laughs.

Omkara winks at her.

Laughing Gauri turns to look at Rudra. "Omkara calls me Param Sundari." Gauri informs him and she notices few people dancing. "Let's dance!" Gauri excitedly tells Rudra.

"I don't dance." Rudra says a little embarrassed.

"Aww." Gauri pouts sadly.

"You can dance, if you want." Rudra tells her.

"Okay." Gauri excitedly turns to Bhavya. "Bhavya... let's dance." Gauri calls out to her in a whisper.

Bhavya glares at her. "I. Am. Leaving." Bhavya mouths to her.

Gauri rolls her eyes. "Omkara!" Gauri calls him in a loud whisper.

"What?" Omkara mouths to her.

"Let's dance!" Gauri calls him.

Excitedly smiling, Omkara quickly stands up. Then he turns to Bhavya. "Bhavay, let's dance."

"No, you two dance."

"Omkara, come before the song finish!" Gauri tells him.

"Coming, Param Sundari!"

Gauri laughs and they both excitedly runs to the dance floor.

Gauri and Omkara happily starts dancing.

"How is it going?" Omkara asks her as they danced.

"Good... for you guys?"

"She is still in shock."

"She will come around." Gauri brushes it off.

Omkara nods. "Haaye Meri Param Param Param Param Param Sundari." Omkara sings as he danced with Gauri.
"Pairon Mein Payal Ki Bedi Se Bandh Ke Main Na Rehne Wali." Gauri sings as she danced with Omkara.
Rudra stared in shock as he watched the two worst dancers in the history, having the time of their lives, dancing so happily and carefree.

"I was so right! those two clowns are so made for each other."

Hearing that Rudra curiously looks up and sees Bhavya standing near his table as she watched them dance.

"Horrible dancers, no?" Bhavya asks as she sat on Gauri's seat.

"Horrible is too kind." Rudra replies.

Bhavya chuckles hearing that.

"Gauri told me what she and Omkara did." Rudra gently tells her.

"Not nice." Bhavya shakes her head.

Rudra nods.

"Are you that into her?" Bhavya asks him curiously.

"She is pretty." Rudra replies.

"Look at her dance and tell me."

Rudra laughs out loud hearing that.

Bhavya chuckles.

"Omkara made the worst move by dancing in front of you." Rudra jokes.

Bhavya laughs hearing that. "Both have no inhibitions."

"I can see why you think they are alike. But too much alike makes it boring, right?" Rudra asks curiously.

"They have enough difference between them to keep it interesting."

"What makes you think that Gauri and I won't work out?" Rudra asks her.

"We both have been watching them dance." Bhavya points out.

"Yeah." Rudra replies confused.

"Did either of them turn to look at us, even once?"

"Hmmm I get your point." Rudra nods.

"Will you help me to bring them close?" Bhavya asks him excitedly.

"Please, I have a life." Rudra replies not interesting.

"Consider this your contribution to the world." Bhavya tells him.

"Why is it a contribution to the world? Keeping them away from other people is favoring the world?"

Bhavya laughs. "Those two are so dumb, imagine, their kids. They are going to be super intelligent. Haven't you heard that smart parents have stupid kids and stupid parents have smart kids?"

"Are you two really best friends?" Rudra asks shocked.

Bhavya laughs. "She is my jaan. And she and Omkara are so perfect for each other."

"So, you think."

"Come on, do your part for the world. You might be stopping the next best scientist from being born."

"I can see why Gauri is your best friend and Omkara is smitten with you."

Bhavya laughs.

"Anyway, I've a knee injury, so the doctor told me not to play for three weeks. For next three weeks I am free in the evening. So, why not?" Rudra shrugs. "What is your plan?"

"Do it with a twist!" Gauri and Omkara sings as they danced to the table.

They had danced for two more songs.

"Ho mera apna character Teri apni adaa Tootenge bikhrenge" Gauri and Omkara sings and comes to a stop seeing Bhavya and Rudra sitting together.

"Hey!" Omkara smiles as he walked to them.

"Did you guys get bored?" Gauri asks.

"No, we were just talking." Rudra replies.

"Did you guys order something? I'm thirsty." Gauri asks.

"Yeah, we got drinks." Bhavya replies.

"I'll get you. what do you want?" Omkara asks Gauri.

"I'll come with you."

"Okay."

The bartender hands them both their drinks. Gauri takes hers and Omkara takes his.

"Nice." Omkara says as he sipped his drink. "I wouldn't have ever tried it."

"This is my favorite." Gauri tells him as she leaned on the counter and drank.

"Do you come here often?" Omkara asks her as he stood next to her.

"Couple of times. You?"

"Yeah me too, couple of times."

"How come we never met before?" Gauri asks shocked.

"If Bhavya was with you, we would have." Omkara laughs.

Gauri chuckles. "Oh yeah, then definitely. She has been behind me since the day we met, to meet you when we come for vacation."

"Why didn't you agree?" Omkara asks her curiously.

"Have you seen you, years back?" Gauri asks him.

"What do you mean?" Omkara asks as he finished his drink then turning to the bartended he says, "One more. Gauri?"

"Yeah, me too."

They waited as the bartender made their drink.

"She showed me your photo, she said it was pretty old one, I think you were in your 12th standard that time."

"Oh God, please no." Omkara whispers as he closed his eyes in dread.

"You weren't that bad then."

"Oh I have seen myself back then."

Gauri laughs. "Then after that, when she tried showing me your latest photos on facebook, I just didn't look only."

Omkara shakes his head.

"Hey, now you're a stud."

"Really?" Omkara asks with a flirty smile as he leaned towards her.

"You're Param Sundara." Gauri laughs.

"Oh my Param Sundari."

Gauri leans towards him and fluttering her eyelashes says, "Oh my Param Sundara."

"Are we supposed to get them a room?" Rudra asks Bhavya in shock as they watched Gauri and Omkara.

"What are you guys talking?" Gauri asks as she took the seat next to Bhavya.

"We were just talking about Rudra's knee injury." Bhavya explains.

"Oh what happened? Are you okay?" Gauri asks in concern.

"Yeah, I am good. It's a small injury. Few weeks' rest and I will be able to play." Rudra tells her.

"Are you a batsman?" Gauri asks curiously.

"All-rounder."

"Wow." Gauri says smiling then curiously she turns to Omkara. "Do you play, Omkara?"

Omkara shakes his head. "I used to play basketball. Now, stopped that also."

"Why?" Gauri asks curiously.

"Busy with work. and I don't love the sport like Shivaay and him. they have to play daily."

"Daily?" Gauri asks surprised.

Rudra shrugs with a grin.

"What about you? You into any sports?" Omkara asks Gauri.

"I like watching cricket. I can understand football a little bit. Nothing else."

"You know; these guys have tournaments. We should go the next time they are playing." Omkara says excitedly.

"Awesome! Let's do that." Gauri says excitedly. "When is your next tournament?"

"In two months, one is coming."

"Great!"

"Will you be here?" Omkara asks her curiously.

"Yeah, I finished college. I'm home now. and I joined my father's business."

"That is nice. What field are you in?"

"Actually, I starting at low level. Papa said that I should work my way up."

"Same was the case with Shivaay and me also." Omkara replies smiling. "What business is it?" Omkara asks curiously.

Bhavya and Rudra watched as Omkara and Gauri spoke and made tons of plans.

"Bhavya was telling me where she lives, it is on the way to my house, I'll drop her." Rudra tells Omkara.

"Okay. What about Gauri?" Omkara asks.

"Can you drop her?" Rudra asks him.

"Yeah, sure. No problem." Omkara says as he gestured Gauri to follow him.

"My chauffer, Omkara." Gauri as she walked to Omkara and held his hand.

"Madam Memsaab." Omkara calls her.

"Bye guys." Bhavya says.

"Wait, what's plan for tomorrow?" Gauri asks curiously.

"Let's meet here tomorrow?" Omkara asks.

"Yeah, I am in." Bhavya replies.

Gauri turns to Omkara and tells him, "Told you, do your thing and she will be convinced."

"Yeah." Omkara replies as he winked at Bhavya.

"Are you two drunk?" Rudra asks them gently.

"No." Both reply.

"You can drive, right?" Rudra asks Omkara.

"All good, man. Just two drinks."

"Okay."

"Bye, Rudra." Gauri tells him smiling.

"See you tomorrow, Gauri." Rudra tells her smiling.

Rudra and Bhavya walked to Rudra's car while Omkara and Gauri walked to Omkara's car.

"Do you want to get ice cream on the way?" Gauri asks him curiously.

"Oh yeah.... Nothing like midnight ice cream." Omkara replies smiling widely.

"I know!"

Gauri waits near the door as she licked on her ice cream cone.

"Do you think your parents slept?" Omkara asks as he waited with her.

"Mama is a nocturnal animal." Gauri replies.

"So, can never sneak into your house, huh?" Omkara asks laughing.

"I always tell them what I am up to, so there is no need to sneak in. you sneak in?"

"All the time and my parents are very early to bed and early to rise."

Hearing the door open, they turn to look at the door.

Vasundhara smiles at them.

"Am I late?" Gauri asks her mother.

"Just about." Vasundhara replies as she looked at Omkara.

"This is Omkara, Mama. And Omkara, this is my mother." Gauri makes the introductions.

"Hello aunty."

"Hello beta."

"it's late, I'll leave." Omkara says.

"Aren't you coming in?" Gauri asks him.

"Another time. Shivaay has gone for honeymoon, so I have extra work at office. If I come in, then I will be late for work tomorrow."

"Okay then." Gauri smiles at him.

"See you tomorrow. Bye aunty."

After Omkara left, Vasundhara locks the door.

"How was your date?" Vasundhara asks Gauri.

"I had the best time ever!" Gauri declares.

Two weeks later

They had been meeting for the "double" date for almost every evening.

"Tomorrow, I can't come." Bhavya informs them.

"Yeah, me too." Omkara says.

"What happened?" Gauri asks curiously.

"Tomorrow, my so-called elder brother and bhabhi are coming back from their honeymoon. So, they all are coming over for dinner."

"Oh okay... let's meet up, day after then." Gauri says as she turned to Rudra to confirm.

"Yeah, sure." Rudra replies.

Turning to Omkara curiously, Gauri asks him, "Why "so-callled" elder brother?"

"Ermm." Omkara gulps as he sat up.

"You don't know that?" Rudra asks laughing.

"No." Gauri replies.

"It's nothing, Gauri." Omkara replies as he shook his head at Rudra.

"Jeeju is elder to Omkara by just hardly 10 months. That is why." Bhavya laughs.

"What?" Gauri asks in shock, her eyes widening in amazement.

Omkara awkwardly looks away.

"Uncle was a naughty." Rudra jokes.

"So was aunty." Bhavya says laughing.

Rudra and Bhavya laughs while Gauri also giggles.

"Erm... I need to make a call." Omkara says and quickly gets up and walks off.

"Is he okay?" Gauri asks in concern.

"I think he got embarrassed." Bhavya replies as they looked at Omkara walk off.

"But we always joke about that." Rudra replies confused.

"But he didn't want to share it now." Gauri tells them as she got up and followed Omkara.

Omkara was leaning on his car, when Gauri walks to him.

"Are you okay?" Gauri asks him.

"Yeah, I am fine." Omkara replies. "I've to make a call."

Gauri leans on his car next to him.

Omkara sighs and says, "It was fine in the beginning."

Gauri nods.

"It was fun actually. Shivaay and I was in the same class, and when people find out that we are not fraternal twins, they think Shivaay failed a year. It was fun to see Shivaay get annoyed about that." Omkara chuckles.

Gauri smiles hearing that.

"Then we grew up and we realized how kids are born, and everyone started joking about how Dad wouldn't even leave Mom alone after her delivery. It was embarrassing but it didn't affect us that much." Omkara explains.

"That was cruel." Gauri whispers.

Omkara shrugs. "We were kids. Then we grew up and still this got stuck with us. Shivaay after a point just ignored it all."

"Even you should." Gauri tells him.

"I try but it so awkward when your friends and everyone you meet, their first thought when they realize the age difference between Shivaay and me is that Dad is a horny man. And, to an extent, everyone's thought is that I shouldn't have been born and that I am an accident."

"Omkara..."

"I know, Gauri, that half the world population is an accident but at times I feel my birth makes everyone see my parents wrong."

"None of them know the depth of your parents' feelings for each other. And your parents and Shivaay loves you. Omkara only that matter, nothing else matters."

Omkara nods.

"I don't want you to think wrong about my parents."

"I don't." Gauri tells him smiling.

Omkara smiles hearing that.

Smiling, Omkara and Gauri hug.

"Now, please be happy." Gauri tells him.

"I am happy." Omkara replies chuckling.

Omkara was with Bhavya, Shivaay and Anika as they talked. Omkara was feeling restless and bored.

"Om, you with us?" Shivaay asks him curiously.

"Yeah... I was just..." Omkara shakes his head.

He notices Bhavya looking at him curiously and he chuckles and asks. "It feels so weird without Gauri, right?"

Bhavya smiles and asks, "Are you missing her?"

"It would have been fun, if she was here." Omkara says then excitedly he says, "I'll ask her to come."

"She should be free." Bhavya says.

"I'll ask her to get ready then." Omkara says as he took his mobile and started messaging Gauri as he headed out.

"Om, are you going somewhere?" Jhanvi asks him shocked.

"Yeah, I'll be back now." Omkara replies as he continued to message Gauri.

"We were about to serve dinner." Jhanvi tells him.

"I'll just pick Gauri and come. we'll come soon."

"Gauri? Om, this is just family dinner." Jhanvi tells him frowning.

"Gauri is family, Mom." Omkara casually brushes it off and leaves.

"Who is Gauri?" Tej asks loudly confused.

"Bhavya's best friend." Anika replies.

"Why is Om calling her here?" Tej asks confused.

"They are good friends now. they all meet up every day." Shivaay replies.

"But still..." Tej frowns.

"She is a sweet girl." Bhavya's and Anika's father, Shakti says.

"It's not that. I was hoping, we could talk about Om and Bhavya." Tej explains.

Bhavya's heart skips a beat hearing that.

"What about Bhavya and Om?" Shakti asks confused.

Tej looks at him confused and says, "Bhavya and Om are dating."

"Bhavya, you didn't tell them?" Jhanvi asks shocked.

"Is this true, Bhavya?" Pinky asks excitedly.

"No... no... it's not." Bhavya quickly says.

"Om told me you guys were going on dates." Shivaay says confused.

"Omkara and I am not dating." Bhavya explains.

"What?" Shivaay asks offended. "Om would never lie to me."

"Bhavya, Om told me that you guys were going on double dates with Rudra and Gauri." Anika tells her.

"Di... Om doesn't realize it yet." Bhavya hesitantly explains.

"Realize what?" Shivaay asks frowning.

"He is kinda dating Gauri." Bhavya explains embarrassed.

"What?"

"When Gauri gets here, you will see, jeeju." Bhavya explains

Gauri was bored out of her wits. She was dejectedly sitting in front of the TV as she kept changing channels.

"How come you didn't go out today?" Vasundhara asks curiously.

"Dinner at Omkara's place for Bhavya's family." Gauri tells her.

"Okay."

Hearing her mobile buzzing, Gauri curiously checks her phone.

Gauri, what are you doing?

Nothing much. Just chilling at home.

I'm coming to get you. get ready. Dinner at my place.

Gauri excitedly smiles. Okay. your ETA?

Gauri quickly stands up. "Mama, I'm going to Omkara's house for dinner."

Everyone watches curiously as Omkara walked in with Gauri.

"Mom... Dad this is Gauri. Gauri, they are my parents." Omkara quickly makes the introductions.

"Hello Unlce... Hello Aunty."

"Hello Gauri." they smile at her.

"And you know Shivaay." Omkara says.

"I know your so-called elder brother." Gauri replies chuckling.

Omkara chuckles.

"Let's have dinner." Jhanvi tells them. "Come, Gauri." Jhanvi invites her with a smile.

Noticing Bhavya take the seat next to Anika, Gauri sits next to Omkara.

"How was work?" Omkara asks her as they sat down.

"I was about to tell you then got distracted." Gauri says excitedly. "I told you right, my manager was very strict with me and I thought Papa had asked him to be tough with me."

"Yeah."

"He was so strict with me and made me do all the work while he was very lenient with Ridhima."

"Hmmm." Omkara frowns hearing that.

"Today, Papa called us for a meeting and he kept praising Ridhima. Papa was so impressed that he started asking Ridhima about the work and she couldn't answer even one question properly."

"I bet."

"Papa got so pissed, he fired Ridhima on the spot and blasted the manager and gave him a warning. I am assigned another manager."

"So, your father didn't ask your manager to be tough on you." Omkara states confused.

Gauri laughs. "turns out there was some confusion and my manager thought that Ridhima was me."

Omkara laughs hearing that. "Did you tell your father what all you did there?"

"Yeah... and he was so proud of me." Gauri says smugly.

Noticing that the table was silent, Omkara curiously turns and sees everyone watching them. "What?" Omkara asks confused.

They all awkwardly look away.

"We were waiting for you to finish your appetizer so we could have main course." Bhavya lies.

Anika and Tej who were already eating their main course, keeps their hands around their plate to hide their food.

"Oh we didn't realize." Gauri replies as she quickly finished he appetizer.

"So, how is your brother doing? You guys would have lots to catch upon."

"Yeah... didn't get much chance to talk." Omkara replies.

"You guys tell each other everything?"

"Yeah. But he is busy since he got back."

Gauri nods.

Cheekily, Omkara informs her, "He is so smitten."

Gauri chuckles hearing that. "Just like how you're smitten with Bhavya?"

Omkara laughs. "Worse than that."

"That would be horrible then." Gauri laughs then excitedly she tells him, "You know, in one of her Mata Cher moments, Bhavya said that once we meet we would be inseparable."

Omkara chuckles and says, "And every night I drop you home and leave."

"Yeah." Gauri laughing rolling her eyes. "If I had evil streak then I would have made her eat her words."

Omkara laughs hearing that.

Noticing everyone looking at them, Omkara tells them. "You guys don't have to wait for us. we are slow eaters."

"Since when?" Shivaay asks shocked.

Before Omkara could say anything, Tej interjects. "Who all are there in your family, beta?"

"Papa, Mama and me." Gauri replies.

"You should bring them home one day." Jhanvi tells her smiling.

"Sure, aunty." Gauri tells her smiling.

"You're having dessert?" Omkara asks shocked as he walked to the living room where Gauri was sitting with everyone.

"Why? This is yum." Gauri replies shocked.

"I thought we would have ice cream as usual when I dropped you home." Omkara says. Noticing there was no place to sit with Gauri as Bhavya was sitting with her, Omkara casually sits on Gauri's side arm rest.

Gauri keeps her hand on his lap and tells him, "My stomach always has space for ice cream."

Omkara rolls his eyes hearing that.

"You guys have ice cream every night?" Bhavya asks shocked.

"Yeah, there is this ice cream van near my place, we always stop there for ice cream." Gauri tells her.

"Yuckiest ice cream it is." Omkara declares.

"But it is fun to have midnight ice cream." Gauri says.

Gauri turns to Anika and asks her with a teasing smile, "How was your trip Anika di?"

Anika blushes slightly and says, "It was nice."

Soon they were talking about Anika's and Shivaay's trip and what all places each one wanted to go.

Omkara gently keeps his hand on Gauri's shoulder. Gauri turns to look at him curiously.

"You okay? you seem a little dull." Omkara gently asks her.

"Yeah, just tired and back pain." Gauri replies softly.

"What happened?" Omkara asks her in concern.

"It's normal." Gauri whispers. When he looked at her in concern, she leans towards him and whispers. "Got my periods, that's all."

"Oh... you want to go home?" Omkara asks her in concern.

"No, it's okay."

"Should I get you pillow or something?"

"Relax, I am fine. It is normal." Gauri tells him smiling.

Omkara smiles and keeps his hand on top of hers and holds it gently. Gauri smiles at him.

Seeing them like that, Shivaay asks Gauri curiously. "How is Rudra's knee, Gauri?"

"I think it is fine." Gauri replies confused. "He said he had to rest for three weeks. How long has it been?" Gauri asks Omkara.

"I think 2 weeks maybe."

"It is better but he is still having one final visit with the doctor before he can resume game again." Bhavya tells them.

Shivaay and Anika look at her in shock.

Bhavya shrugs and whispers, "For how long are we to just watch them talk? So we talk."

Omkara was walking to his room coming back after dropping Gauri.

"Om..." Shivaay calls him.

"Didn't sleep?" Omkara asks him as he turned to look at him.

"Wanted to talk to you." Shivaay tells him as he walked towards him.

"Yeah?" Omkara asks with a smile as he waited for Shivaay to reach. "Where is Bhabhi?"

"Slept." Shivaay says as he stood next to him.

"Okay, come." Omkara says as he opened his bedroom door.

Shivaay follows him to the bedroom.

"What's up?" Omkara asks. "You seem serious."

"You are my so-called younger brother and my best friend, and I don't like you being a fool in front of others." Shivaay tells him.

"What do you mean?" Omkara asks frowning.

"Bhavya told everyone today that you guys are not dating."

"What?" Omkara asks shocked. "We've been going on dates..."

Shivaay cuts him off and tells him. "She said you haven't realized it yet but you're dating Gauri."

"What?" Omkara asks shocked out of his wits.

"I don't know what is happening between you and Gauri, Om. but from the moment Gauri reached, you haven't left her side."

"We are friends, Shivaay. We get along well and we like talking to each other." Omkara whispers in confusion.

"I know you, Om. I've seen you with others. Gauri is different for you." Shivaay tells him gently.

Gauri was having breakfast with her parents when her father broached the topic.

"Gauri, isn't it time that you brought your boyfriend home?" Harsh asks her.

"Boyfriend?" Gauri asks slightly shocked.

"Yes."

"But Papa we just started going on dates..."

"You are going out every evening with him. we should meet him." Harsh tells her.

Gauri nods. "Okay."

"What is his name?" Harsh asks her curiously.

Before Gauri could answer, Vasundhara answers. "Omkara. very nice boy he is."

"Omkara?" Gauri shouts in shock.

"What? That isn't his name?" Vasundhara asks confused.

"Omkara is my friend. He is dating Bhavya. I am dating... actually going on dates with Rudra." Gauri replies shocked.

"Who is this Rudra? You're always coming with Omkara and you never mentioned any Rudra." Vasundhara asks shocked out of her wits.

"Because Rudra drops Bhavya because her house is on his way to his house."

"Isn't Bhavya's house like five minutes from here?" Harsh asks confused.

"Yes." Vasundhara replies.

Gauri's eyes widen in shock. Omkara's house was close to 20 minutes away from her place.

"And Gauri, yesterday you said you weren't going out because Omkara had guests at home. If Omkara was busy why didn't you go with Rudra if he is your boyfriend?" Vasundhara asks confused.

Gauri's mouth drops open realizing that was true. Why didn't Rudra and she make plans to meet? She didn't think of it and Rudra also didn't think of it? and realization was immediate, Bhavya was still playing matchmaker and Rudra was helping her.

Gauri and Omkara met later that evening.

"Mata Cher is at it again!" Gauri informs him reeling from her shock.

"How did you realize it?" Omkara asks her shocked.

"My parents think that you're my boyfriend." Gauri tells him and tells him what had happened.

"Same thing happened at my place yesterday." Omkara tells her and explains to her his conversation with Shivaay.

"I can't believe that they made such a big pappu out of us!" Gauri says outraged.

"Do you think we should..." Omkara nervously starts to ask.

"We should definitely." Gauri declares.

"We should?" Omkara asks her nervously.

"Yes! Tonight, you don't leave Bhavya's side and I'll stick to Rudra. We will sit in different tables too."

"Oh!" Omkara sighs disappointed.

"Okay?"

"Yeah... okay! let's try that then." Omkara says sighing.

"Why are we sitting separately?" Rudra asks confused as he looked at the table where Omkara was with Bhavya.

"For how long are we going to be on double dates? We should spend time with each other." Gauri says nervously as she fought the urge to turn and look at Omkara's table.

"Oh." Rudra nervously says as he worriedly looked at Bhavya.

Gauri just wanted to look at Omkara and see how he was doing. She just wanted to see him, and she didn't like that he was with Bhavya, and that was very strange.

"So... erm.... What's up?" Gauri asks Rudra as she tried to think of something to talk to him about.

"Let's leave?" Omkara asks as they walked to Gauri's table half an hour later.

"YES!" Gauri and Rudra quickly says relieved.

"Come, Bhavya, let's go." Rudra says hurriedly.

Omkara turns to Gauri and asks her, "I'll drop you home?"

"Yeah, Bhavya's house is on the way to Rudra's. you drop me." Gauri uneasily says.

"Let's go then." Omkara says.

Gauri and Omkara gets in his car and they turn to look at each other.

"How did your date with Bhavya go?" Gauri asks him nervously.

"How did your date with Rudra go?" Omkara asks her instead worriedly.

"I was trying my best not to look at you." Gauri guiltily confesses. "I couldn't be with Rudra. What about you?"

"I was hoping you would look at me at least once." Omkara confesses.

Gauri gasps in shock.

"I couldn't even look at Bhavya." Omkara tells her.

Gauri and Omkara nervously looks at each other then hesitantly they move closer to each other till their lips touched each other's. they gently and tenderly kiss each other.

"You're sure that you want me, right?" Omkara asks her softly.

"Yes. You?"

"I wanted to talk to you about that when we met earlier. I realized how dumb and stupid we were being. But you were being still dumb."

"You were drooling after Bhavya before."

"You were drooling after Rudra and he is still hot."

"You are the hottest." Gauri tells him.

"And you're the hottest."

"No, I am your Param Sundari." Gauri tells him chuckling.

Chuckling, Omkara hungrily takes her lips in his.

Next morning, Gauri reaches Bhavya's house and sees Omkara and Bhavya hugging.

"Damn!" Gauri mutters.

Omkara turns to her and smiles. "Hey!"

"You bloody told her that she had been right all this time!" Gauri says seeing Bhavya gloating.

"Come on, she had been right, let her gloat." Omkara tells Gauri chuckling as he walked to her.

"He also said you two were bloody fools." Bhavya smugly says.

"We were!" Gauri sighs loudly as she side hugged Omkara.

Omkara hugs her as he kissed her temple.

Bhavya laughs. "I was right. you two owe me."

"Mata Cher!"

Omkara chuckles and asks Gauri. "Did you meet Rudra?"

Gauri laughs. "He got so scared seeing me so early in the morning. I thought he would faint."

Omkara chuckles.

"He was so relieved when I told him that he doesn't have to play matchmaker with Bhavya anymore." Gauri tells them.

Omkara grins and he turns to Gauri. "Let's go? We should clear up the confusions at our homes too."

"Yeah." Gauri says as she lovingly smiled at him.

"Bye darling!" Gauri tells Bhavya as they turned to leave.

Hearing her mobile buzz, Bhavya curiously takes her phone and sees it is a message from Rudra. She starts to check the message as she called out to Omkara and Gauri. "As a way to thank me, you can name your daughter after me."

"Let's see." Omkara winks at her.

"You wish!" Gauri scoffs at her.

Chuckling, Bhavya checks the message from Rudra.

Gauri came. She said that those two have come to their senses and I don't have to act being on a date with her anymore. Thank God for that.

So, just wanted to check whether you would like to go on a date with me?

3 years later

Gauri sneaks Omkara into her bedroom and closes the door.

"You're mad." Gauri tells him as she hugged him.

"I'm the only sane one here. Rest of the world is mad!" Omkara mutters as he hugged her and then gave her ice cream.

Gauri giggles as she took the ice cream from him. Omkara grins and leans down to kiss her when he hears a knock at the door. he closes his eyes in exasperation. Gauri chuckles.

"Gauri!"

"I will kill that old hag!" Omkara mutters irately.

Gauri chuckles and opens the door.

"I told you that he is here!" Roop says glaring at Omkara.

Vasundhara and Harsh awkwardly looks at Omkara.

"What are you doing here, Omkara?" Vasundhara asks him embarrassed.

"I came to see her!" Omkara replies offended.

"Saw her? come, you're sleeping with me tonight." Harsh tells him. "Vasundhara, you stay with Gauri tonight."

"I'm going home!" Omkara declares outraged.

"Then go!" Roop tells him glaring at him.

"You better watch what you eat, because I'm going to poison you!" Omkara warns her as he started to leave.

"Om!" Gauri calls him.

Realizing he stops and turns to go back inside when Roop moves in front of him.

Omkara glares at her. "I am going to kiss her!" Omkara tells her walking around her and he walked back into the bedroom.

Omkara walks to the bed and sees his daughter sleeping. He bends down and kisses her lovingly and whispers "Papa, will see you tomorrow, Cher baby."

Omkara hugs Gauri and starts to leave as he glared at the midwife. "I didn't get my wife pregnant for two years after marriage and she thinks I will get her pregnant one month after she gave birth."

"Your brother was more innocent than you!" Roop scoffs at him.

And the fight went out of Omkara as he left muttering under his breath. All his life, his parents had made him awkward and now his so-called elder brother has become a thorn in his side.

His bloody so-called elder brother hasn't heard of something called condoms in his life.

His so-called elder brother had his son by the time he celebrated his first wedding anniversary and on his son's first birthday celebration the chief guest was his daughter!

Now, everyone is keeping him away from his wife in order to stop history from repeating.

His so-called elder brother is so close to being so-bloody dead!!!
