How are you?

I know I said that there won't be a new story this week... but I wanted to give you all an Eidi... this is a small story.

Thanks to all for voting and commenting on the previous story. Sorry, I won't be able to reply to the comments as I am a little busy.

Previous story : Married To A Stranger (posted on 16 – Jul – 2021)

For a while now, I wanted to write a crazy, weird and no logic story (like crazy series). and this is that story.

P.S: some double meaning lines are there, couldn't help it 😉

Age: Shivaay 9, Omkara 8, Rudra 6 and Gauri 5

Tej and Jhanvi walk into their Mansion holding five-year-old Gauri's hand.

"Jhanvi... Tej... thank God you both are home. Your sons are..." Dadi stops seeing Gauri with them. "This...?"

"This is Gauri, Ma." Tej informs her as he pulled Gauri close to him. "She is Harsh's daughter. She is going to stay with us from now on."

"And his family let you bring her?" Dadi asks surprised.

"You know how people are... a girl... the future expenditures..." Jhanvi vaguely tells her.

Dadi nods understanding.

Jhanvi leans down and faces Gauri, "Gauri, remember what I told you?"

Gauri nods her head.

"This is your house now, and we are your family. And this is your Dadi."

Gauri looks at Dadi and smiles at her.

Dadi smiles and lovingly caress her cheek. "Such a cutie, she is. I'm still surprised that Harsh's family let you take a family member like this."

"Well... they were arguing who would look after her... all coming up with excuses about problems in life, so we lied to them." Tej whispers to her.

"What lie?" Dadi asks shocked.

"We lied that..." Tej was cut off when they hear loud arguments.

"Kids, stop shouting." Jhanvi scolds her sons seeing all three walk in.

Shivaay and Rudra had continued to argue while Omkara had curiously stopped to look at his parents.

"Tell me..." Dadi asks shaking her head at the loud kids and their useless fights.

"That one day, Gauri was going to marry one of my sons." Tej tells her with a cheeky grin.

"what?" Dadi asks shocked.

Gauri was busy looking at the arguing brothers, Shivaay and Rudra were too busy arguing.

But Omkara who had heard his father, turns to curiously look at this 'Gauri'. seeing her, Omkara decided then and there that this cute little thing was going to be his wife.

"Will you two stop it?" Jhanvi asks irately at her sons. "Come here and meet Gauri."

Shivaay and Rudra stop and curiously look at Gauri. seeing a stranger, they walk towards Gauri. Omkara quickly follows them with a frown, why was Gauri being introduced to his brothers? Wasn't it already decided by him that it was he who was going to marry Gauri?

Gauri smiles at the boys.

"This is Gauri, she is your sister." Jhanvi tells them. "And Gauri, these are your brothers, Shivaay, Rudra and Omkara." Jhanvi introduces pointing at each one of them.

Omkara frowns hearing the horrible S and B words.

"Hello Bade Bhaiyya." Gauri tells Shivaay with a smile.

"Hello Gauri." Shivaay smiles at her.

"Hello Rudra Bhaiyya."

"Rudy Bhaiyya, Gauri." Rudra corrects her.

Gauri giggles hearing that and was about to turn to Omkara.

Omkara who was already pissed at Gauri having made her introductions to his brothers instead of him, lost it when she was giggling at Rudra. He angrily moves towards her and pulls on her pigtails.

Gauri gasps in shock.

"Om, what are you doing?" Jhanvi asks angrily.

"Is this the way to behave with your sister, Om?" Tej asks him frowning at him.

"She is not my sister!" Omkara angrily argues again that puke worthy S word!

Gauri glares at him. she didn't like him! and she was not going to be his sister. She will not even call him bhaiyya like she was going to call Bade bhaiyya and Rudy bhaiyya! That will teach him! "You are not my brother, Om!" Gauri tells him glaring at him, hands on her hips.

That bloody B word! "I AM NOT!" Omkara replies angrily.

Jhanvi, Tej and Dadi looked at each other in confusion while Shivaay and Rudra grin at each other seeing the way Gauri and Omkara were glaring at each other, this is going to be fun.

Omkara was scowling at Gauri as she checked out Rudra's toys with him.

He didn't like that!

She was going to be his wife, that meant she should be playing with him! that is what wives did.

And she should be playing with his things, not Rudy's and Shivaay's.

Omkara walks to her and grabbing the toy car she was holding; he throws it to the side.

Gauri looks up at him in shock and seeing it was the horrible Om, she glares at him.

Omkara sits next to her and pulls his toy box. He pushes it in front of her. "Take whatever you want."

Gauri glares at him then leaning over, she grabs the car that he threw away.

"Not that!" Omkara grabs it from her.

"Why? I want to play with that." Gauri glares at him.

"that is Rudy's."

"Rudy bhaiyya told me I can play with his things."

"NO! NEVER! you will play with my thing! Not his!"

"I don't want to play with your things!"

"You are only getting my things!" Omkara tells her as he grabbed the car from her and threw it across the room.

Rudra who was watching it all amused quickly gets up and runs to retrieve his car.

While Gauri gaped at Omkara, Rudra comes back running with the car and offers it to Gauri. "Here, Gauri, you can play with it."

Before Gauri could take it, Omkara snatches it and throws it against the wall, breaking it. Rudra looks on in shock at his broken car. Shivaay who had come back after gathering all his toys from around the house, sees the scene, and quickly dumps all his toys in his toy box and pushes it under the bed, hiding and protecting it from Omkara.

Gauri furiously pounces on Omkara and screaming, she pinches him. Omkara screams in pain as he tried to push her hand away from his face.

"What is happening?" Tej and Jhanvi asks as they hurried in.

"Om is troubling Gauri." Shivaay informs him.

"Stop it, Om." Jhanvi tells him as she pulled Gauri off Omkara.

"Leave her alone, Om." Tej tells him frowning at him as he pulled him up. "Didn't I tell you all that Gauri just lost her Papa?" Tej asks him in a whisper so that Gauri doesn't hear him. "She is alone, Om. we are all she has now."

Omkara's heart goes out to Gauri. "I'm trying to be nice." Omkara tells him softly. "I told her she can play with my toys but she wants to play with Rudy's stupid toys."

"Let her play with whatever she wants." Tej gently tells him.

"No! she will play with my toy. Not anyone else's." Omkara adamantly tells him.

Hearing that, Tej coughs then shaking his head. he says, "Anyway, it is late. You all go to sleep."

"Come, Gauri, you sleep with us." Jhanvi tells her.

"Why should Gauri sleep in your room?" Omkara asks frowning. Gauri is going to be his wife, so she will sleep in his room!

"Now, don't make an issue about that, Om." Jhanvi says tired.

Gauri looks down sadly hearing that Om didn't want to share his parents with her.

Omkara scowls seeing Gauri looking down. Why did she have to get upset over that? he didn't like that his brothers were trying to be close to Gauri. he didn't want his parents also to be close to Gauri. he didn't like sharing Gauri with anyone!

"Gauri will sleep with us." Shivaay tells his parents.

"Yeah, she will sleep between bhaiyya and me!" Rudra declares as he looked at Omkara trying to irritate him for breaking his toy.

Omkara scowls at his brothers.

"Do you want to sleep with your brothers, Gauri?" Jhanvi asks Gauri.

Gauri nods her head.

"Gauri will sleep with me. Only with me!" Omkara declares.

Tej coughs hearing his son.

"Okay, you all decide where she sleeps." Jhanvi tells them tired and starts to leave the room.

As they were leaving the room, Tej asks his wife in a confused whisper, "Is Omkara saying double meaning dialogues or do I have a dirty mind?"

"My son is not like you. You always have a dirty mind, Tej!" Jhanvi scolds him and walk off.

Changing into his night clothes, Omkara comes out of the bathroom and frowns seeing that Gauri had got settled between both his brothers to sleep.

Omkara walks to the bed, then he climbs on the bed. He stands on the bed while Gauri and Shivaay curiously looked at him and Rudra grinned. He falls flat on the bed, right in between Shivaay and Gauri.

"Ouch, Om!" Shivaay shouts.

"My hand!" Gauri screams.

Omkara quickly slightly lifts up his body and Gauri moves her hand out while she glared at him.

"I want lie next to Bade Bhaiyya." Gauri tells him.

"I told you that you are sleeping with me." Omkara reminds her frowning.

"I'm going to sleep." Shivaay declares, tired and wanting some peace. "Good night."

Hearing that, Gauri hmphs at Omkara and turns to face Rudra, giving her back to him.

Omkara wanted to hold her and turn her to face him, but he doesn't. So, he just lay back and listened to Gauri and Rudra talk to each other about what to do the next day. Very soon, Rudra had slept off.

"Why aren't you sleeping?" Omkara asks her in a whisper seeing her just twisting and turning.

Gauri doesn't look at him.

"Don't you space?" Omkara asks her worriedly. "Do you want me to sleep on the floor?"

Hearing him ask her that, she whispers sadly. "No."

"Then, why are you not sleeping?"

"I'm not sleepy." Gauri whispers sadly.

"Why?"

Gauri shakes her head sadly.

"Tell me, Gauri." Omkara gently insists.

"I hug Papa and sleep." Gauri tells him as she looked at him sadly.

"Everyday?" Omkara asks her.

"Yes. But now, he has gone to heaven to be with Mama as she is alone." Gauri tells him what Tej and Jhanvi had told her.

"It's okay. you have me."

"But I want Papa."

Omkara didn't like the idea of Papa, but he liked the idea of Gauri hugging him and sleeping, so he tells her, "You can hug me and sleep."

"I can?" Gauri asks smiling. "Like how I hug Papa?"

"Yes." Omkara smiles, happy and relieved that she was smiling at him.

Smiling happily, Gauri rolls to him, she puts her hand over his chest and her leg over his waist. "Papa, keeps his hand here." Gauri tells him as she took his hand and kept it under her head.

Omkara puts his hand over her shoulder hugging her close to him.

"I like you, Om." Gauri tells him smiling.

"I like you, Gauri." Omkara tells her smiling.

******

"Gauri was drooling all over O." Rudra giggles at the dining table.

Everyone at the table chuckles while Gauri looks down feeling humiliated.

"His shirt was full of saliva." Rudra says disgusted.

"Stop it, Rudy. It is normal for kids to drool." Tej scolds his son seeing Gauri upset.

"Gauri, it's okay, bacha." Jhanvi gently tells her.

Gauri sadly gets up and goes off.

"See, how hurt is she!" Jhanvi scolds her son. "Go and say sorry to her."

Omkara quickly runs after Gauri.

"Om, I meant Rudra!" Jhanvi calls after him, but he doesn't bother to stop and reply.

"Gauri..." Omkara calls her as he walked to the room.

"I will not talk to you!" Gauri frowns at him sadly.

"What did I do?" Omkara asks confused.

"You told Rudy bhaiyya that I drooled on you."

"I didn't." Omkara replies shocked.

"Then how did he know?" Gauri asks frowning.

Before Omkara could reply that he might have seen, Gauri tells him. "I don't like you. I don't want to be your friend."

Omkara was really hurt to hear that, so he also angrily tells her. "I don't like you, Gauri!"

"Don't like me then." Gauri's eyes fill with tears hearing Omkara say that.

Omkara angry at her tears, he walks out of the room.

"Sorry, Gauri." Rudra tells her sadly as he walked to the room.

"I didn't do it on purpose." Gauri sadly tells him as she looked down.

"I know, Gauri. I'm sorry." Rudra tells her as he knelt down. "Won't you forgive your favorite brother?"

"Will you make fun of me again?" Gauri asks him sadly.

"No, I won't make fun of you drooling."

Gauri nods.

"I felt bad." Gauri confesses to him. "Om told me I could hug him and sleep." Gauri tells him sadly for having Omkara betray her like that.

"I didn't know, Gauri." Rudra tells her. "When I woke up and saw you drooling on his shirt, I thought it was funny."

"Om didn't tell you?" Gauri asks him shocked.

"Tell me what?" Rudra asks confused.

"That I drooled on him."

Rudra giggles and tells her, "I didn't think he knew till I told everyone downstairs. I wanted to see him go crazy realizing that he had drool on his shirt."

Realizing that she had screamed at Omkara for not a mistake of his, Gauri quickly gets up and runs off to look for him.

"Om..." Gauri calls him seeing him sitting alone pissed.

"Get lost, Gauri."

"I am sorry, Om. I thought you told Rudy bhaiyyya."

"I told you I didn't. you didn't believe me." Omkara tells her hurt.

"I am sorry."

"You are a bad girl."

"I am not!" Gauri replies offended.

"You are!"

"I am not!" Gauri pinches him on his cheek.

"See. You are one!"

"If I become a bad girl then it is because you are making me one!"

"Yes, you are a naughty, bad girl!"

"Oh my God! Oh my God!" Tej says in shock. "Why are the children talking such double meaning dialogues?"

"My children are innocent." Jhanvi tells him pissed. "It is your dirty mind that is corrupting everything!"

They had gone to bed at night. Gauri sadly looks at Omkara. Omkara also looks at her. They hadn't spoken the whole day after their fight.

Seeing her sad face, Omkara decided to forgive her, like his father keeps saying, wives are always eating their husband's head off. since he was bigger and 3 years older to her, he should forgive her.

"You can hug me."

"What if I drool again?" Gauri asks sadly.

"It is okay. you can drool on my shirt."

Gauri smiles hearing that. she happily hugs him. "You can also drool on me."

"Only me." Omkara insists, even though he knew he didn't drool.

"Only you." Gauri smiles.

Omkara smiles and hugs her.

******

It was Gauri's first day of school. During break, Omkara decided to check on Gauri and he goes to her class. He finds her crying outside her class.

"Gauri!" Omkara runs to her in worry. "What happened?"

"Om." Gauri turns to him crying.

"What happened, Gauri? did any teacher scold you?"

"No." Gauri replies as she fidgeted with her hair.

"Then what happened?"

"That Ajay..." Gauri cries.

"What did he do?" Omkara asks angrily as he looked inside her class to figure out who Ajay was.

"He sits behind me in class."

"And?"

"he was taking lice from his head and putting on my head." Gauri wails sadly. "I didn't know he was doing that. when I found out and asked him, he said he put 100 lice. My head is full of lice. Nobody will be my friend. I will lose my hair."

"I am your friend, Gauri." Omkara tells her.

"He is a bad boy." Gauri complains to him as she wiped her tears in relief hearing him.

"Who is he?" Omkara asks her as he looked to the kids in the class.

"That one." Gauri points out to him.

Omkara runs into the class and without a word, jumps on him and starts hitting him.

"Will you tell them that there are lice on my head?" Gauri worriedly asks him in a whisper so that Rudra and Shivaay doesn't hear her. "Nobody will be my friend if they find out."

"I won't tell." Omkara tells her.

Gauri smiles and hugs him. "You are the best, Om."

"Om... Gauri..." Tej and Jhanvi hurries to them.

"Why did the principal call us?" Jhanvi asks them worriedly.

"What did you do, Om?" Tej asks seeing his messed up look.

"He hit Ajay." Shivaay informs them.

"Who is Ajay?" Tej asks confused while Jhanvi gasps in shock.

"He is in Gauri's class." Rudra informs them.

"Why did you hit him, Om? You know hurting others is bad." Jhanvi asks him angry.

Omkara looks at Gauri and sees her worriedly looking at him. he turns to his parents and informs them, "Ajay was bullying Gauri."

"Oh okay." Tej nods understanding.

"What okay? he should be complaining not hitting that boy." Jhanvi scolds her husband.

"Don't fight again." Tej quickly tells Omkara then he tells him, "Don't worry, I'll handle this."

Omkara nods in relief.

Gauri quickly hugs Tej happily.

"You are okay now, right?" Tej asks her with a smile.

Gauri nods. "Om hit him nice."

Tej and Jhanvi couldn't help chuckle hearing that.

Gauri happily smiles and hugs Omkara at night.

Feeling her head close to his head, Omkara quickly moves his head away from hers. He didn't mind her drooling on his shirt but he didn't want lice on his head and become dirty and lose his beautiful hair.

Gauri frowns feeling him move his head away. she looks at him. "Why are you moving away?"

"I am not." Omkara lies.

"Then keep your head close to my head like you do."

"I am." Omkara replies as he moved his head further away.

Gauri pouts seeing that. "You lied. You don't want to be my friend."

"I want to be your friend, Gauri. I don't want lice." Omkara clarifies.

Gauri pouts even more and pushes him angrily. Then rolling around, she hugs a sleeping Rudra.

Omkara didn't like that. "Lie with me, Gauri." Omkara tells her as he pulled her close to him.

"No, you go away!" Gauri tells him as she hugged Rudra tight.

Realizing Gauri was going to be stubborn, he hugs her from behind, keeping his head on her head.

"Let all your lice come on my head!" Omkara tells her irately.

"Take all of them. I don't even want one!" Gauri stubbornly replies, still upset with his earlier behavior.

"Okay!"

A week later

Jhanvi frowns as she watched her son, scratching his head quiet continuously.

"Why are you scratching your head like that, Shivaay?"

"It's itching." Shivaay replies to her as he scratched his head.

"Do you have lice on your head?" Rudra asks curiously as he scratched his head. "I got a BIIIIIG one from my head."

"Both of you have lice?" Jhanvi asks shocked. "Don't sleep with Om and Gauri tonight."

Omkara couldn't help smile hearing that, finally, he can sleep with Gauri without any disturbance. Then he panics seeing Gauri slyly scratching her head. Omkara quickly pulls her hand down from her head lest his mother sees it.

"Gauri, even you have lice?" Jhanvi asks curiously having seen Gauri scratch her head.

Gauri looks down and nods in yes.

"Oh no." Jhanvi whispers. "Om, you sleep with Dadi tonight. actually, till we take care of these three."

Omkara couldn't sleep away from Gauri! "Even I have." Omkara replies as he scratched his head.

"I am going to complain to your school. How can they be so irresponsible?" Jhanvi says pissed.

"It is that Ajay. He has lice!" Gauri tells her.

"But how did you get it from him?" Jhanvi asks her curiously.

Worriedly Gauri looks at Omkara.

"I think O got it from his fight with him." Rudra guesses.

"See what you did, Om!" Jhanvi scolds him.

"Don't scold him. I got it from Ajay." Gauri confesses looking down.

"How?" Jhanvi asks confused.

Gauri tells her what had happened.

"You should have told us, Gauri. why did you feel guilty for something that you didn't do?" Jhanvi asks her. "If you had told us then these three wouldn't have got it from you."

"Sorry." Gauri whispers sadly.

"Stop scolding her." Omkara frowns at his mother.

"I am not scolding her. I am telling her that she shouldn't be worried about telling us anything." Jhanvi replies to her son.

"What is happening here?" Tej asks curiously as he walked in.

"We have a lice infestation here." Jhanvi informs him.

"Oh!" Tej whispers worriedly as he quickly moved back putting as much as distance he could from the kids. "Jhanvi, get me one of those lice shampoos."

"Idiot, first, we need to take care of the kids before you." Dadi scolds him.

"I don't want to get rid of my lice. It is fun to kill them." Rudra pouts sadly.

"First your head, I am washing." Jhanvi declares.

8 years later

"Looks nice." Rudra says as he stood next to Gauri.

Gauri scoffs in disgust as she glared at the stage, where Omkara was practicing for the school drama with Ishana.

"I wonder why Om is not telling us about Ishana yet." Shivaay asks curiously as he joined them.

"Tell us what?" Gauri asks him with a frown.

"You don't know?" Shivaay asks her surprised.

"Know what?" Gauri asks him angrily.

"About Ishana and him."

"What about Ishana and him?" Gauri asks furiously.

"They love each other. Look at their chemistry. They look so amazing together." Shivaay points at them.

"Yeah, Gauri. they are so perfect. Kisi ki nazar na lage." Rudra says.

"Perfect! Like mother and son!" Gauri says in disgust and walks off.

Gauri was walking off when Omkara comes down the stage having finished his practice.

"How was it?" Omkara asks her.

"Horrible!" Gauri replies and walks off.

"What?" Omkara stops in shock hearing her.

"Pay up, brother! All these years and you still think Gauri would realize she loves Om!" Shivaay laughs.

Rudra grumpily puts money on Shivaay's hand. "Come, O is going." Rudra hurriedly say and runs towards Omkara.

"Hey O!" Rudra stops next to him.

"What happened? Why are you frowning? Your practice went nice, right?" Shivaay asks as he joined them.

"Yeah..." Omkara frowns as he still watched Gauri who was walking off. "What happened to Gauri? she looks pissed."

"She is still upset." Rudra says waving his hand in a dismissing gesture.

"About what?" Omkara asks frowning ready to go after her.

"That you got selected instead of Arjun." Rudra says in a dismissing tone.

"What?" Omkara asks frowning angrily.

"Just because Arjun is her darling doesn't mean that you are less than him in any way." Shivaay tells him.

"Yeah, even you are good, O. Don't know why she thinks you are nothing in front of that Arjun." Rudra tells him.

"Bloody hell!" Omkara says furiously as he went behind Gauri.

Rudra turns to Shivaay smugly, "All these years and you think O will hesitate to create a scene in a public. one minute before reacting? Tsk... tsk... My money?"

Glowering at Omkara, Shivaay keeps the money on Rudra's hand.

"Thank you, brother." Rudra replies as he started to follow Omkara and Gauri.

"Where are you going?" Shivaay asks.

"To watch them fight."

"Why you never get bored watching them fight? Have been watching them fight for ages!" Shivaay mutters.

"You coming or not?" Rudra asks him.

"Of course." Shivaay replies and follows him.

******

"What is your problem?" Omkara asks Gauri as he pulled her hand to face him.

"What is your problem?" Gauri asks him back glaring at him.

"My problem? You are the one who has a problem!"

"I don't have any problem!"

"Oh is that so?" Omkara asks her in a mocking tone. "You are happy I got the role in the drama?"

Gauri looks away in disgust.

"Why don't you say that I am bad?"

"You are! You look horrible with her! you suck at it!"

"Arjun would have been better?"

"A bench would have been better with that Ishana!"

"Now, I am wooden too? Everybody was saying we have good chemistry!"

"Yeah, like parent and child!"

Omkara stops in shock hearing her say that he looked like a father. "Then you also look like a mother!"

Gauri gasps in outrage and hurt that Om now couldn't even take a word against Ishana that he was insulting her for Ishana. "I don't like you! Go and be with Ishana." Gauri says furiously as she pushed him away.

"You also get lost." Omkara says and noticing Arjun coming towards them, he says, "Run... your Arjun is waiting for you."

"I am going. I don't want to talk to you." Gauri says furiously and walks off.

"Even I don't want to talk to you!" Omkara declares and walks off in anger.

******

"What happened?" Tej asks tiredly hearing the loud arguments. "Why are they fighting?"

"Don't know, Dad." Shivaay shakes his head.

"You don't know?" Jhanvi asks them frowning then she closes her eyes hearing something break.

"How would we know? You know, we all are in different classes." Rudra tells her.

"I don't trust him, but Shivaay, I have told you to keep an eye on those two." Jhanvi tells Shivaay.

"Mom, I can't watch them 24x7. I too have a life." Shivaay replies.

Shaking her head, Jhanvi walks off.

"Dandi, just go clean up whatever it is that they broke." Tej tells him and walks off fed up.

******

Few days later, Rudra was surfing through the channels trying to find something interesting.

"I'm bored. Nothing interesting on TV." Rudra mutters.

"Me too." Shivaay replies bored. "Where is Om and Gauri?" Shivaay asks.

"They were playing scrabble downstairs."

"They are friends now?" Shivaay asks surprised.

"Yeah."

"No wonder, we are bored." Shivaay declares.

"Our only entertainment!" Rudra replies.

"Come, let's take care of it." Shivaay says standing up.

"I get Gauri. You take O"

7 years later

Gauri was watching TV when Omkara snatches the TV remote from her.

"I was watching it!" Gauri says furiously.

"I'm going to watch now!" Omkara declares.

"You..." Gauri furiously starts to snatch the remote from him.

"Gauri!" Shivaay quickly calls her.

"What?" Gauri looks at him momentarily distracted.

"Come, let's go for a drive." Shivaay tells her.

"Yeah let's go." Rudra also excitedly says.

"Okay." Gauri says and walks off with them ignoring Omkara.

Later that night, Gauri was eating when Omkara takes the roti from her plate.

"THAT'S MINE!" Gauri growls at him.

"Now, it is mine." Omkara arrogantly relies.

"Give it back!" Gauri angrily orders him.

Omkara smirks at her in reply.

"Here, Gauri, take mine." Rudra quickly tells her offering her his roti.

"I want mine." Gauri argues.

"Yeah right!" Omkara scoffs.

Before Gauri could say anything, Rudra quickly tells her, "Take mine, Gauri. please don't fight."

"Only for you, Rudy bhaiyya." Gauri tells him as she took the roti from Rudra making Omkara scowl in irritation.

Much later, Rudra was starting to dose off. he turns to Gauri and sees her watching TV.

"Let's watch it tomorrow, Gauri. I am sleepy."

"You watch it tomorrow, Rudy bhaiyya. I want to finish it today."

Irately Rudra turns to Shivaay and sees him already sleeping.

"BHAIYYA!"

"What?" Shivaay sits up in shock.

"I am sleepy." Rudra informs him.

"You can't sleep." Shivaay says as he looked at Gauri and Omkara.

"I want to sleep!" Rudra insists.

"Gauri, let's go sleep then." Shivaay tells her.

"I am not sleepy, you guys go."

"Rudy won't go."

"Why?"

"He has FOMO." Shivaay tells her.

"But we aren't even talking." Gauri points out.

"What the hell is that?" Omkara asks.

"Fear Of Missing Out." Gauri replies.

"I know." Omkara replies with attitude.

"Then why did you ask?" Gauri asks frowning at him.

"I just asked."

"You didn't know. So, why act now?" Gauri asks him.

"Don't fight!" Go to your room, Gauri." Shivaay tells her sternly.

"But bade bhaiyya..."

"It is late, go!" Shivaay tells her.

"She will go when she wants to sleep." Omkara argues.

"I am going. I'll listen to bade bhaiyya." Gauri replies and walks off.

Rudra sighs in relief. "Good night!" and he runs off to his room to sleep.

Next morning, Shivaay and Rudra excitedly got ready. Then getting Omkara they excitedly went looking for Gauri.

"Bade Bhaiyya! Rudy Bhaiyya!" Gauri calls out to them.

"Coming!"

"Come fast. Ridhima is here. I've plans for today." Gauri calls out to them.

"Yeah... we are here." Shivaay tells her as he and Rudra happily held Omkara and walked down.

Gauri happily smiles at them. "Come fast, you both."

"Both?" Rudra stops in confusion.

"Yeah, you both!" Gauri declares as she glared Omkara and then turning her face in attitude she walks off.

"What?" Shivaay stops in shock. "You guys fought?"

Scoffing mockingly at them, Omkara replies, "Yeah!" Then smugly he walks off.

"How the hell did he managed to fight with her?" Rudra asks Shivaay.

"I don't know."

"I was on Gauri duty, so I went to sleep only after she went to sleep. What about you?" Rudra asks him frowning.

"Erm... Gauri went to sleep, so I thought..." Shivaay whispers worriedly.

"You went to sleep before O?" Rudra asks him pissed.

"She already slept... so..." Shivaay shrugs.

"Bade Bhaiyya... Rudy Bhaiyya..."

"Coming." Shivaay replies as he walked to her.

"I'm going to kill you bhaiyya. I've been dying to see what O would do when she tells him she wants to tie Rakhi to him and you ruined it."

"There is rakhi next year also." Shivaay tells him feeling disappointed at himself.

"And what if Gauri realize that she likes O before that?" Rudra asks him pissed.

Shivaay stops and turns to Rudra in exasperation. "It is Gauri, Rudy."

"But I don't trust O."

"He lives in constant fear of being bhai zoned." Shivaay tells him chuckling.

Gauri happily does the rituals and ties rakhi for both Rudra and Shivaay while Omkara sat back and watched it all.

"Om, why are you not joining them?" Jhanvi asks him softly.

"Oh please, I don't want her as my sister." Omkara replies.

Gauri scowls at him, hearing him.

"Don't fight, you two. At least today, sort out your problems. Come, Om. let Gauri tie rakhi for you." Shivaay tells him.

"I won't!" Gauri angrily replies. "He is a dog."

Shivaay and Rudra looks at Omkara in shock wondering how he had managed to piss her off so much and Omkara smugly smiles at them in reply.

Rudra and Shivaay, dejectedly sits back as Gauri finished off the rakhi rituals. Once done, Shivaay and Rudra happily hugs and gifts her.

"Okay... let's go." Gauri turns to Ridhima.

"You didn't do it with him." Ridhima points at Omkara.

Omkara looks up hearing that. he looks at Gauri and sees her looking at him. ignoring her, he turns to Ridhima and sweetly smiles at her.

"I don't think we have met. Ridhima, right?" Omkara asks her as he stood up.

"We are getting late." Gauri declares and grabbing Ridhima's hand, she walks out.

Omkara chuckles as he turned to his brothers. "Tsk... tsk... what all you two did yesterday?"

"You knew?" Rudra asks shocked.

"You think only you notice things? that only you notice that I purposefully pick a fight with her before the night of rakhi?" Omkara asks them. "Last two years, I've been noticing how you to jump in to stop us from fighting when I am trying my best to fight with her. otherwise you two are cheering us on to fight."

Shivaay and Rudra scowls at him.

Omkara starts to walk off then stopping he turns to his brothers, "Thanks to you, Rudy. Now, I know that Gauri has a very hot professor called Svetlana. And how I wish I got her number."

"You asked her for another girl's number?" Shivaay asks him shocked out of his wits.

"Not just another girl. A very elegant, lady like sexy siren unlike the clumsy ordinary Gauri whom I so desperately wanted to have midnight conversations with that I had to wake Gauri up from her sleep and ask." Omkara informs him with a smug smile.

"You've a death wish or what?" Rudra asks him shocked.

Omkara chuckles and walks off.

Meanwhile outside.

"Your brother is damn hot." Ridhima tells Gauri.

Gauri very sympathetically smiles at her "Bade bhaiyya is dating Anika Bhabhi. He is very serious about her. they would be getting married in a couple of years."

"Rudy bhaiyya? He has so many girlfriends." Gauri tells her shaking her head.

"No, yaar. I was talking about Omkara. I think even he likes me. did you notice the way he was smiling at me?" Ridhima asks her smiling excitedly.

Gauri scowls at her hearing that. "You have some nerve coming into my house and eyeing my family. What kind of a friend are you? we are no longer friends!" Gauri declares.

"What?" Ridhima stops in shock.

"We are no longer friends. Get lost."

"What did I do, Gauri?" Ridhima asks her shocked and hurt.

"You broke the friendship code. You don't eye friend's family." Gauri angrily tells her. "Leave!" Gauri quickly turns around and walks back into her house.

"Bloody pervert!" Gauri mutters as she walked in to her house.

"What happened? You didn't go?" Rudra asks her confused.

"The world is full of perverts!" Gauri furiously tells him and walks off.

"Gauri, you know one Arjun?" Jhanvi asks Gauri one day.

"I had a classmate called Arjun... what happened?" Gauri replies.

Omkara frowns hearing that and looks at his mother.

"His family has sent a proposal for you." Jhanvi tells her.

"What?" Gauri asks shocked.

"You know him, Om?" Jhanvi asks Omkara. "Is he good for our Gauri?"

"He is a sweet boy." Gauri replies still in shock.

Omkara frowns hearing that. what the hell does that mean? That she is interested in him?

"Really?" Jhanvi asks her then turning to Omkara she asks, "You also think the same, Om?"

"If she says he is good then who am I to say anything else?" Omkara asks her angrily as he stood up and walked off. "Get her married to him, after all Arjun is the best!"

Gauri curiously looks at Omkara wondering what pissed him off. Did he want her to marry Arjun?

"Om is right, Gauri. I say you marry Arjun. He will be the best life partner to you." Shivaay tells her

"But bade bhaiyya, I've never thought of him like that." Gauri replies confused. "He is sweet and all but..."

"But what, Gauri?" Jhanvi eagerly asks her.

"I don't know, Mom." Gauri replies confused.

"Simple, meet him and talk to him." Rudra tells her.

"But Om doesn't like him." Gauri tells them softly.

"Who does Om like?" Tej asks her in shock.

"Yeah." Gauri sadly looks down. "He doesn't like anyone. He is always fighting with me."

"Awww Gauri." Anika hugs her lovingly. "Ignore him."

"You should talk to Om, Gauri." Jhanvi quickly tells her. "Let's see what he has to say."

"He already said what he thinks of it." Tej tells her. "Let's ask Arjun's family to come."

"Why are you not doing anything, Om?" Anika asks him in whisper as they watched Gauri talk to Arjun alone in the garden.

"What can he do? Gauri already made her decision." Shivaay replies. "If she didn't want to marry Arjun then she wouldn't have agreed for this. Right?"

Omkara looks at Gauri and sees her happily smiling at Arjun. "She has made her decision."

"Don't be so stupid, Om. You can't give up now." Anika tells him sternly.

"Stop it, Anika. Can't you see what is happening?" Shivaay asks her. "If this is her happiness, don't stand in the way, Om."

"What about his happiness?" Anika asks him.

"Nothing is more important than Gauri's happiness." Omkara replies and walks off.

Seeing Omkara walking down with his bag, everyone stops in shock.

"You are going somewhere?" Gauri asks him shocked.

"Yeah, my friends are going for a trip to Goa, I am going with them." Omkara replies without looking at her. it hurt to look at her now. he still couldn't believe that she had said yes to the proposal.

"When will you come back?" Gauri asks him frowning at the thought of him going away.

"I don't know."

"But in a week we have finalized Gauri's engagement." Tej tells him.

"I don't know if I'll be able to come for it." Omkara replies looking away.

"You've to come. nothing is more important than this!" Tej angrily tells him.

"If he is not in the mood... he can attend the wedding." Shivaay says.

"It is a family function! He will be here for it!" Tej tells him sternly.

With the constant calls from Tej and all his emotional blackmailing on duties to the family, staying together as a family, happiness of everyone, including Gauri's parents and Dadi who all had passed away, Omkara couldn't avoid Gauri's engagement.

On the day of the engagement, Gauri gets dressed and walks to the hall with Jhanvi and Anika and the first person she sees is Omkara.

"Om is back?" Gauri asks smiling happily as she ran to him.

"You are back?" Gauri asks him smiling.

"Yeah." Omkara replies without looking at her, he couldn't see her as someone else's bride.

Noticing the grand decoration, Gauri tells Omkara amazed, "This looks so beautiful and grand."

Seeing him looking so disinterested, she asks him softly, "You would rather be with your friends than be here for my function."

"Yes."

"Then you go." Gauri replies hurt and heartbroken at his callous reply.

"You go, your Arjun is waiting for you."

"Oh, Gauri... my baby." Tej comes to her as he happily hugged her. "She looks so beautiful, right Om?"

Gauri fakes a smile for him, still upset about what Omkara said.

"If Arjun's family wasn't in a hurry for the marriage then I would have got you and Om get engaged on the same day." Tej tells her.

Gauri frowns hearing about Omkara's engagement. She didn't like that.

"I've to attend to the guests." Omkara mutters and walks off.

Omkara avoided Gauri after that. he didn't even look at her. he knew the engagement was done when he heard the guests clap. Hurt and broken, he had walked out after the function.

At night, Omkara couldn't help himself and he walks into Gauri's room. he finds her sitting on the foot of the bed, looking at her ring.

"I want to talk to you." Omkara tells her gently.

"I don't want to talk." Gauri replies sadly, not looking at him.

"I want to know, Gauri... are you happy with Arjun? Are you sure you will be happy with him?" Omkara insists.

"Why do you care? you don't care!"

Hearing her say that, he walks to her and holding her arms he pulls her up. "You think I don't care?"

"You don't." Gauri argues as she looked at him.

Seeing her eyes filled with tears, Omkara stops in shock. "Why are you crying? Did that Arjun say or do something? I'm going to kill him."

"He didn't do anything." Gauri replies.

"Then why are you crying?" Omkara asks her worriedly.

Gauri looks down sadly.

Omkara cups her face and asks her gently. "Tell me, Gauri. why are you crying?"

"Because I don't want things to change." Gauri tells him sadly.

"Change? You mean about going to Arjun's house?" Omkara asks her, the thought of her going to Arjun's house killing him.

Gauri shakes her head in negative.

"Then?"

"When Dad was taking me to Arjun..." Gauri stops sadly.

"What happened then?" Omkara asks her frowning.

"He was saying how things are going to change. How I was going to go away. how after a while I will be so busy with my new life that I won't have time for you all. That I won't be able to meet you all as often as I want. That I won't be able to see you whenever I want. Then he was saying that maybe after I go away, they will get you married and when your wife comes then they won't miss me much."

"Gauri, you'll always be the daughter of this house. Shivaay's and Rudra's sister. No matter what." Omkara consoles her.

"But I want to see you whenever I want!" Gauri tells him stubbornly.

"What?" Omkara stops in confusion.

"Dad said that now I have responsibility of Arjun that I can't see you whenever I want and maybe Arjun also won't like if I come to see you often."

Omkara looks at Gauri in shock hearing what she had said.

"I will see you always. No one can say I can't see you. I don't like it when you are not home then how can someone say I shouldn't see you?"

"Do you love me, Gauri?" Omkara asks her softly, his heart beating fast at the possibility.

Gauri doesn't reply as she sadly looked at him.

"Tell me, Gauri."

"It is killing me that I can't see you. I feel I would die if I don't see you."

Omkara couldn't control his smile and joy. He tells her "Gauri, since the moment I met you, I have wanted you to be my wife."

"What?" Gauri looks at him in shock. "But you don't like me. you are always fighting with me."

"I'm fighting with you? it is you who is always fighting with me!"

"You also fight with me." Gauri points out couldn't help the smile realizing they were itching towards another fight.

"Because I don't like sharing you with anyone else."

"Why didn't you tell me?"

"Because I have been living with this constant fear of when you would start calling me bhai."

"I was getting drunk in Goa because my wife was getting married to someone else!"

"I love you, Gauri." Omkara replies happily as he leaned down and took her lips in his.

"You broke my heart when you decided to get married." Omkara tells her.

"Everyone said that I should get married." Gauri tells him. "So, I thought..."

"All of them are crazy. And Shivaay and Rudy too?"

"Yes."

"They know that I love you. what the hell were they doing convincing you?" Omkara asks confused.

"They might have also felt that I didn't love you."

"Hmmm..." Omkara nods as he leans down to take her lips.

"We shouldn't, Om." Gauri tells him as she turned her face.

"Why?" Omkara asks her confused.

"I am still engaged. We shouldn't before I tell him that I love you." Gauri tells him guilty.

Omkara takes her mobile. "Call him."

Gauri dials Arjun's number. Omkara puts the call on speaker.

"Hello Gauri?" Arjun answers the call.

"Arjun, it's Omkara and Gauri here." Omkara tells him.

"Yeah?"

"We wanted to tell you something."

"That you two love each other and the engagement is off?" Arjun asks them.

"Yes." Omkara replies as he looked at Gauri in shock.

"Okay cool... I'll inform my family. Bye." Arjun says and hangs up.

"Didn't he want to marry me?" Gauri asks him in shock.

"You've a problem with that, now?" Omkara asks her as he slipped off the ring that Arjun had put on her finger.

"No!" Gauri replies rolling her eyes. "It all feels strange."

Omkara carelessly throws the ring on the table. "Forget all that. we'll worry about that tomorrow."

"And tonight?" Gauri asks him blushing happily.

Seeing her blushing, Omkara grins and he walks to the door. he closes it and locks the door.

Gauri gasps in shock seeing that, though she had turned completely red.

"It's been ages since we slept together." Omkara tells her as he walked to her and pulled her towards him.

"Oh, we are going to sleep?" Gauri asks him with a teasing smile.

Grinning Omkara tells her, "You have no idea, how many years I have been waiting for our wedding night."

"But we are not married." Gauri reminds him blushing happily.

"When have we done anything proper?" Omkara asks her as he nibbled on her lips.

Omkara and Gauri finds their family seated together.

"We want to tell you all something." Omkara tells them.

"Get lost!" Tej mutters as he looked away.

"Gauri and I love each other. We want to get married. We told Arjun also about it." Omkara informs them.

"He really freaked out after you two got engaged." Anika laughs telling them.

"But I already told him that this could go to the wedding mandap." Shivaay tells her.

"Oh that reminds me, even you lost." Anika tells him grinning.

"You all betted on us?" Omkara asks shocked.

"Of course." Rudra replies.

"Mom, you too?"

"She was sure that you would confess the moment any marriage talk happened." Rudra tells him.

"Oh." Omkara looks at Gauri and sees her gaping at everyone in shock.

"Anika Bhabhi you too?" Gauri asks her.

"I was sure when Arjun comes to see you that time Om would burst." Anika says sadly.

"And Dad you thought engagement?" Omkara asks him in shock.

"I thought, either of you will realize right before the engagement and declare your love." Tej confesses.

Shivaay starts laughing. "He was so sure that his son and his daughter would get engaged that he went all out for yesterday's function."

"You both are getting a court marriage. I am not spending one more penny on you two." Tej declares.

"Anyway, all the bets are over. Now, we all can actually plan the wedding without trying to fight for an edge to win the bet." Anika tells everyone.

"Om and Gauri knows about it." Shivaay points out.

"You better not get her pregnant, Om." Shivaay warns him. "If he wins then we all have to fulfill one-one wish of his."

"You know, last night bhaiyya and I were feeling so guilty and worried that our meddling and bet might have ruined things for you two. We thought we will tell O everything and help him convince you. so, we went looking for him in his room." Rudra tells her pointedly looking at her.

Gauri gulps and looks at Omkara.

"I went out for a walk." Omkara quickly replies.

"Oh." Rudra thoughtfully nods. "You know, what? After that we thought we will talk to Gauri."

Gauri and Omkara worriedly gulps hearing that.

"Gauri, your room is not sound proof." Rudra informs her.

Omkara walks to the door to check.

As Gauri waited with bated breath, she hears Omkara open the door but she doesn't hear him talk to anyone. Few seconds later, he opens the door.

"Who was it?" Gauri asks him.

"No one was there." Omkara replies.

"No one was there?" Gauri asks confused.

"You were worried you would have been embarrassed if someone finds you here." Omkara cheekily tells her.

"Yeah." Gauri sighs in relief.

"Look what was left for us at the door." Omkara cheekily tells her as he showed her a condom packet.

'That was there?" Gauri asks shocked out of her wits.

"I guess, Shivaay really doesn't want to take any chance with Rudy winning the bet." Omkara tells her with laughter in voice.

Gauri chuckles with a blush.

"Come, let's put the condoms to good use." Omkara tells her as he offered her his hand.

Omkara walks to the door, taking the condom packet, he sticks the paper on the door and closes the door. he doesn't even bother to show Gauri the condom packet. He puts it on the table and walk to her.

They hear the knock again.

"We got it wrong. This is Rudy." Omkara informs her.

"He gave birth control pills? How are you sure?" Gauri asks confused.

"Because it is not birth control pills. It is Viagra."

"What?" Gauri asks offended as she walked to him. "When I am there why do you need Viagra?"

"I don't."

"You won't." Gauri tells him pushing him on the bed.

"I'm not opening the door no matter what now." Omkara tells her as she straddled him.

"I'll kill you if you even think of leaving the bed."

Tej was walking back into the house, stealthily hiding the small brown packet. He starts to climb the stairs to go to Omkara's room.

"Sir, where are you going?" Dandi asks him curiously as Tej's bedroom was on the ground floor.

In his own house, Tej felt like a thief who was caught red handed. He quickly hides the packet.

"Oh." Dandi whispers noticing him hiding the packet.

Tej gulps in panic.

"Don't worry, sir. I left a packet for them in front of Omkara Sir's room." Dandi whispers to him.

Any father would ask a servant how dare he forgot his place and was interfering in his children's life, but Tej wasn't a father like that, so he asks instead, "Even you made the bet with Rudy?"

"No, Sir."

"Then?"

"Do you have any idea how much work I do in this house?" Dandi asks him. "The amount of cleaning up I have to do after their fight?"

Tej nods. His wife's biggest fear was Dandi deciding to quit.

"I can't handle a pregnant, temperamental, cranky, moody and angry Gauri madam and a stressed out, panicking and tensed Omkara sir."

Tej climbs up the stairs and heads to Omkara's room. he will leave the packet outside the room and knock on the door and quickly make his escape before Om opens the door.

Tej was about to knock on the door when he finds a paper stuck on the door.
