This is an experiment story. I've never written on sexual tension, so I wanted to try that. don't know how it is going to be. So, if it is a big flop, then please forgive 😊

Too much Imlie influence, so this is a forced marriage story. got one more idea on forced marriage, so making this a series.

"That's it. you can go." Omkara says as he turned his attention to his laptop.

"Erm... sir?" Gauri hesitantly starts.

Omkara curiously looks up. "Yeah? Is there anything else?"

"Ridhima is rejoining tomorrow." Gauri tells him.

Omkara nods. "Rudra informed me. but it's okay. you can continue as my executive assistant. Ridhima will assist the marketing manager."

"Sir, I was thinking..." Gauri nervously says.

"What?" Omkara asks with a curious frown.

"I was doing online course in BA in marketing. Last month I cleared all my exams. While I was assisting Ajay I used to help out in the marketing department. I'm familiar with the work. So, if you would.... Erm.... If I can work in marketing..."

Omkara frowns in absolute confusion hearing that. "You want to go back to assisting the marketing manager instead of me?"

"No... not as a PA... I want to work in marketing." Gauri quickly clarifies.

Omkara thoughtfully looks at her. "Gauri, I'm very happy with your work. You are very efficient and you keep my work smooth. Better than all other assistants I have had so far. So, if it is a raise that you are looking for..."

"No, sir... it is not the money. I want to work in marketing." Gauri cuts him off. "I was doing this job so that I could finish my course. you can check with Ajay, sir. I've helped out the marketing team before. I want to pursue that as my field."

Omkara thoughtfully sighs. "Okay, let me think about it."

"Thank you, sir." Gauri tells him smiling.

Omkara nods then frowning he asks. "Is there an opening in marketing? I wasn't aware of it."

"No, there isn't."

"Hmmm... so let's see when an opening comes up." Omkara tells her.

"Okay, sir." Gauri says smiling.

"Till then you continue in your current post." Omkara tells her.

"Sure, sir." Gauri says happily.

Gauri was working when she feels someone standing near her, curious she looks up and sees Ridhima standing there.

"Hi Ridhima, how are you?" Gauri asks her with a smile.

"How can I be when you stole my post?" Ridhima asks her angrily.

Gauri's smile drops. Ridhima had been assisting Omkara when she had met with an accident and Gauri who had been assisting the marketing manager was transferred to assist Omkara in the interim.

"I want to see Omkara." Ridhima tells her.

Omkara ran an informal and friendly business environment. Everyone was addressed on first name basis. Somehow Gauri felt uncomfortable calling her boss by his name and had stuck to calling him 'Sir'.

"Should I just walk in?" Ridhima asks her.

Gauri takes her phone and calls Omkara.

"Yes?"

"Sir, Ridhima is here to see you."

"Send her in." Omkara replies.

"You can go in." Gauri tells her as she put the phone down.

Ridhima glaring at her, turns and walks into Omkara's room.

Few minutes later, Gauri sees Ridhima walking off pissed. Gauri sighs. She wondered whether she should tell her that it was temporary and that once marketing department gets an opening then she will hopefully be transferred there, then she decided against it.

Gauri walks into Omkara's room after he called her.

"Yes, sir?"

Omkara looks up at her. "Ridhima wanted to come back to assist me. I told her that you would be assisting me."

Gauri nods.

"Since you said you wanted to shift to marketing, do you want to assist Ajay till we have an opening or you prefer to continue assisting me?" Omkara asks her.

Gauri thoughtfully looks at him. she wasn't very excited about working with Ajay and she has been more comfortable working with Omkara. Ajay was very unreasonable while as long as she did her work properly Omkara didn't create any issues.

"What do you prefer?" Gauri asks him back.

"I told you already." Omkara replies frowning. "I prefer you continue at your current post."

"Even I prefer that." Gauri replies to him, feeling a little relieved.

Omkara nods. "Just wanted to be sure. You can go."

Gauri was about to leave when she turns back and informs him. "Sir, I'll be leaving early today. Is there anything that you want me to do before I leave?"

"No... all okay?"

"Have to go with my mother somewhere before we leave. I'll meet you at the railway station." Gauri tells him.

"Okay."

Carrying her overnight bag, Gauri walks through the platform to board her train. she stops in front of the compartment and looks for their names on the chart. Confirming their names and seats, Gauri gets on the train.

Hearing her walk in, Omkara looks up from his laptop. Gauri politely smiles at him and he nods at her.

Gauri keeps her bag under the berth while Omkara continued to work on his laptop. Gauri sits opposite to Omkara near the window and looks out. They remained silent while he worked and she just looked at the sights.

A while later, bored Gauri looks at Omkara and sees him dozing with his head resting on the window. She really respected him a lot. He was so hardworking. Their company was his brain child, his start up. It's been three years and the company was growing and making a name for itself but they were still not that well established. They had 18 people in total working in their company. And due to constant meetings with finding investors and vendors, she has to travel with him some times.

"Hello..."

Hearing that, Gauri turns to look at her side and sees a man sitting there smiling at her.

"Yes?" Gauri asks him.

"I'm Abhimanyu." The stranger tells her smiling.

Gauri nods and then she opens her bag and takes out the book she had brought with her. she opens it and starts reading.

"What's your name?" he asks her.

Irately, Gauri looks at him. "I'm busy."

"Oh sorry... please carry on." Abhimanyu says contrite.

Gauri turns her attention back to her book.

The train stops at a station and that man gets up and leaves. Gauri sighs in relief, she had got major creep vibes from him.

She was reading when she hears him come back and sit down. Gauri doesn't bother to look at him. the train starts moving again.

"So, are you travelling alone, Gauri?"

Hearing the question, Gauri turns to him in shock, her heart skipping a beat in fear. "How do you know my name?"

He smiles at her. "It was there on the chart."

Gauri sighs in relief though her aversion to the man increasing considerably.

Seeing the creepy smile on him, Gauri gets up. "I'm not travelling alone." Gauri tells him.

Gauri moves forward and softly calls Omkara. "Sir... Sir..."

Frowning, Omkara wakes up. "Yeah?" Omkara asks yawning.

"Can you move a little to the side?" Gauri asks him.

Frowning in confusion, Omkara slides to the middle of the berth. Gauri sits next to him near the window.

Confused Omkara looks around and sees the man looking at Gauri. "Is there a problem?" Omkara asks Gauri.

"No." Gauri replies shaking her as she looked at the man. "The light is better here."

Omkara nods though he turns to the man and suspiciously looks at him. he gets up and leaves immediately.

"Sorry, sir.... He was just trying to talk to me." Gauri tells him.

Omkara nods. "You sit here only."

Gauri nods and gets back to reading her book while Omkara leans his head back and sleep.

Hearing a sound, Omkara wakes up and sees Gauri taking out her food to eat. Sleepily Omkara sits up.

Noticing him waking up, Gauri offers him her food.

"Didn't you order my food?" Omkara asks her confused.

"I did. It will be another hour when they deliver it." Gauri tells him.

"I'll have that." Omkara tells her.

"Take some, sir." Gauri insists.

Omkara looks at her food and looks at her. "On one condition."

"What?" Gauri asks him.

"You'll stop calling me sir."

"But you're my boss." Gauri tells him surprised.

"Everyone else calls me by my name. it feels weird. I am not very into that 'boss-sir' culture." Omkara tells her. "And I am not really a boss. Maybe when I become a rich and powerful businessman, you call me Sir." Omkara tells her grinning.

Gauri smiles hearing him, first time he was talking like that and she asks him back. "What makes you think that I would still be working for you then? Maybe I would be running my own business then."

Omkara looks at her surprised. "Are you planning to start your own business?"

"Not really." Gauri tells him sighing. "I am not that hard working."

Omkara chuckles hearing that. "I feel you are a very dedicated and hard working person."

"Thank you." Gauri says as she extended her dinner to him.

Omkara raises one eye brow at her.

Realizing, Gauri says with a smile. "Please eat, Omkara."

Omkara grins and takes one of the katti rolls. "Thank you, was really hungry."

Gauri smiles and takes the other roll.

"Wow, this is amazing. You made it?" Omkara asks her as he bit into it.

"My mother. I don't cook." Gauri tells him smiling.

"I'm a good cook." Omkara tells her.

"Really?" Gauri asks him smiling.

"Yeah, I like my cooking. Even Rudra. You can ask him."

"I believe you." Gauri tells him chuckling.

"Can you get the recipe from your mother? I want to try it at home. The filling is yum, if I make bulk and keep then it is easy to put together for dinner."

"Yeah sure. I'm sure it is very easy. She keeps making it that I am fed up of it." Gauri tells him tiredly.

"Really?" Omkara asks her shocked.

"Yeah, you can have that one." Gauri tells him showing him the third and final roll.

"That's okay." Omkara tells her.

"I'll take some of your sandwich. You have this."

"Okay." Omkara says smiling happily as he took that.

"How did you learn cooking?" Gauri asks him conversationally.

"Have been living on my own since I turned 18." Omkara tells her.

Gauri nods. "How long have you and Rudra been friends?"

Rudra was working in their company. He was handling the account section and was also the de facto HR manager.

"College." Omkara tells her. "I was like you."

"Like me?" Gauri asks confused.

"Working and doing my college. But I worked in the evenings while I studied." Omkara explains.

"Oh." Gauri nods, she had heard someone mention in the office that Omkara was an orphan and he grew up in an orphanage.

"Thanks for this, Gauri." Omkara tells her as he finished the food.

"Welcome, sir."

Omkara turns to Gauri in shock and Gauri chuckles seeing his shock.

Seeing that he was behaving friendly with her, she gently tells him. "Ridhima was a little upset that she is not getting her old position back."

Omkara nods. "She is not bad, it is just that, she is not as organized and meticulous as you. I struggled with her, because Rudy said that we can't afford an experienced executive assistant just yet. And then when she had that accident, Rudy assigned you to me, and with you, it was such a relief and I actually could do my job because you would do your work properly and in time."

Gauri couldn't help smiling smugly. "You're going to miss me when I go."

"I'm dreading already."

Gauri chuckles and then worriedly asks him. "You'll let me move to marketing when something comes up, right?"

"I'll not make a position for you. if a spot opens up then, yes. Because I know, in any position, you'll be an asset to us."

Gauri smiles hearing that.

"Your sandwich was nice." Gauri tells Omkara as she finished it off.

"I liked your food better." Omkara tells her as he finished his off.

They smile at each other.

"We want to sleep." the passenger sitting beside Omkara tells them.

Gauri bends down and pulls her bag from under the berth. She opens it and takes out her blanket. She keeps the blanket on her lap and closes her bag and pushes it back under the berth. She starts to stand up and keeps her hand on the berth. She felt an electric shock pass through her the moment her brain processed that she had kept her hand over Omkara's hand instead of the berth.

She quickly takes off her hand and turns to look at him and sees him also looking at her in shock.

"Static electricity." Omkara says as he stood up, feeling nervous and conscious.

"Yes." Gauri agrees as she stood up. "I'm going to sleep." Gauri tells him.

"Yeah, me too." Omkara mumbles.

Gauri climbs the ladder to get on the upper berth and Omkara climbs the ladder to his upper berth. Heart slamming against his chest, Omkara lies on the berth from the corner of his eyes, he could see Gauri putting the blanket over her and lying back. he couldn't understand what had happened. He has shook hands with other women and never had he experienced anything like this. He even felt a slight stirring in his loin when their hands had accidently touched.

Gauri nervously tried to calm her raising heart. she didn't understand, how an innocent touch could cause such an effect to her body. Maybe it was the static electricity that he mentioned, there was no other explanation to the sensation that she had felt between her legs.

The passenger from the lower berth switches off the light, and as the surrounding filled with a light blueish light, both of them sighed in relief.

Hearing the alarm beeping, Gauri opens her eyes and sees Omkara turning off his phone alarm. Gauri sits up realizing that they were about to reach. Omkara also sits up as he stretched. Gauri ties her hair as she looked at him. Omkara also looks at her at that second. Seeing that, he gently smiles at her and she smiles back politely. Deciding that the other didn't remember the previous night incident, they relax.

They get down the ladder and get about to freshen up before they reach their station.

They get down at their station and taking a taxi, they head to their lodge.

They were walking to their rooms when Gauri turns to Omkara.

"Sir... our meeting with Kaali Takur is fixed at 11. We need to leave here by 9:30."

"Okay." Omkara replies, after the weird incident at night, he felt it even more weird to ask her to call him by his name, so he doesn't correct her. "I'll meet you at the reception."

"My son is the one who is handling the selling and distribution. You talk to him. if he is convinced then we've a deal." Kaali Takur tells them.

"Sure. When can we meet him?" Omkara asks him.

"He is here only. He got back today. I'll send for him." Kaali Takur tells them and leaves the room.

Gauri looks at Omkara, and sees him take a deep breath as he looked at the laptop screen and mentally prepared for the presentation.

"All the best, Sir." Gauri whispers to him.

"We really need it, Gauri." Omkara tells her. "If we get an opening with him then we would hit gold. They have clothes, furniture, stones, all those things that are in demand in the international market. If we can source from them and export, we won't need to look for investors."

"You can do it, sir." Gauri tells him encouragingly as she extended her hand to him.

"Thanks." Omkara replies with a smile as he took her hand in his.

Both leave their hands instantly feeling a jolt of lightening hit them.

"Static." Gauri quickly says as she rubbed her hands and pulled her legs together tight.

"Yeah." Omkara whispers as he looked away as he kept his laptop on his lap properly.

Hearing someone walk in, they both look up and stop in shock seeing the man from train.

"It's a pleasant surprise." Abhimanyu says smiling wickedly as he looked at Gauri and then at Omkara.

Gauri worriedly looks at Omkara and he also looks at her.

Abhimanyu sits down. "So, let's hear your proposal."

Gauri gulps as she listened to Omkara explain their business model and all the benefits that Abhimanyu's business would have if they collaborated with him. Gauri looks at Abhimanyu and sees him watching her. she quickly averts her eyes, and looked at Omkara.

"All sounds interesting." Abhimanyu says thoughtfully.

Gauri felt a very bad premonition and she looks at Omkara and sees him also slightly frowning.

"But what do I get?" Abhimanyu asks.

"As I explained, 5 % more than what you are..."

"That the company is getting." Abhimanyu cuts Omkara off. "I'm asking about me."

Omkara frowns hearing that and asks. "You want commission for your own business?"

Abhimanyu looks at Omkara. "I'm not talking about money." then he turns his gaze to Gauri.

Gauri sits up in shock understanding his meaning.

Furiously slamming his laptop shut, Omkara says. "We're done here."

Hearing him, the very second, Gauri gathers all the papers and shoves it inside the laptop bag.

Omkara gets up and furiously puts his laptop inside his laptop bag.

"We haven't finished discussing this." Abhimanyu says.

Omkara furiously turns to him and sees his gaze still on Gauri. Omkara turns to Gauri and asks her, "Gauri, do you want to sleep with him?"

"WHAT? NO!" Gauri furiously shouts.

Abhimanyu furiously glares at her.

Omkara turns to Abhimanyu and tells him. "Heard her? If you didn't understand it yesterday, then understand it now. She has no interest in you. Be man enough to take a girl's no as no. STAY AWAY FROM HER. Let's g0, Gauri."

They were walking out, when Gauri furiously turns to Omkara and tells him. "I am a virgin!"

"What?" Omkara asks as he turned to her in shock.

"How dare you ask me that?" Gauri angrily asks him.

"When the hell did I ask you whether you were a virgin?" Omkara asks her offended.

"Not that! you asked me whether I wanted to sleep with that pervert." Gauri tells him angrily, still reeling from the shock at his question.

"I didn't see you slap that pervert when he was saying all that." Omkara tells her as he opened the back seat door and put the laptop bag inside the car.

"Because you said that this deal was important for our company." Gauri furiously reminds him as she got inside the car.

Omkara furiously gets in and tells her. "If I wanted to get business by making you sleep with him then I would have gone into pimping and made money."

"I didn't mean that." Gauri says softly.

"Then?"

"His father seemed better and maybe we had a chance with him." Gauri whispers.

Omkara shrugs then noticing the cab driver looking at them waiting, he says. "Let's go!"

"Erm... lodge?" the driver asks confused.

"Yes, please."

Gauri and Omkara had finished their dinner and was walking back to their lodge.

"Tomorrow I'm thinking about going around the market. Kaali Takur might not be the only one who is manufacturing here. There might be other small scale business too."

"Even I was planning to go to the market tomorrow. When you're going, I'll also come, sir." Gauri tells him.

"That's okay, I'll go. And it is a Sunday tomorrow, so technically it is your day off too."

"Erm... I wasn't coming to find you supplier." Gauri hesitantly says.

Omkara turns to her and asks her, "Shopping?"

Cheekily grinning, Gauri nods.

Shrugging, Omkara says. "Fine."

Suddenly, they were surrounded by a bunch of men.

Omkara and Gauri were tied to a tree with a crowd gathered around them.

Omkara turns to look at Gauri and sees her crying. Even he was scared and worried for their lives. He sees Abhimanyu walk towards them.

"You..." Omkara furiously starts.

"I would be careful of what I say if I were you." Abhimanyu tells him with a smirk.

Omkara furiously looks at him as he tried to think of a way to escape.

"There is only one way to escape." Abhimanyu says as if hearing his thoughts. "My father will come in a few minutes. And his word is the law here."

"He is with you on this?" Omkara asks him frowning in disgust.

"Oh no!" Abhimanyu shakes his head. "And that is worse for you." Abhimanyu tells him with a snigger.

Omkara and Gauri frown in confusion.

"You see, he is told that you two were being immoral here and the punishment for immorality is death by stoning." Abhimanyu informs them.

Gauri and Omkara hearing that, starts struggling against their binding in panic.

"You know, how to save yourself." Abhimanyu tells them. "I can tell my father it was a misunderstanding and have you both leave safely."

"Why are you doing this?" Gauri asks him scared and crying.

"If I want, I can rape you but I don't want you like that." Abhimanyu tells her. "I want you all meek, crying, scared and you..." Abhimanyu turns to Omkara. "I want you to live knowing that you're alive because you had to get her to please me for you to stay alive. How much of a man are you going to be then?"

"I will die than sleep with you." Gauri furiously tells him.

Abhimanyu moves towards them, and wanting Omkara to also hear him, he leans towards them with his face in between them and whispers to Gauri. "If you quietly come with me now, you both will live. Otherwise you both will die. Choice is yours. Are you coming?"

Gauri furiously looks at him.

"Let him stay here till I'm done with you." Abhimanyu says as he started to untie Gauri's rope.

Omkara with all his might, hits him with his head and Abhimanyu falls back down.

The crowd furiously screams and raise their spears at Omkara.

"What is happening here?" Kaali Takur asks furiously.

"These two were being immoral." One of them loudly informs him.

"You two came to my house today." Kaali says recognizing them.

"He is lying." Gauri furiously says. "They all are lying. He wants me to sleep with him, so he is threatening us with this. He said if I didn't sleep with him then you would stone us to death for immorality."

"My son is not like that." Kaali says furiously.

"HE IS! He was in the train with us yesterday. Even in the train he was being creepy with me." Gauri tells him.

"To escape you both are making up stories and accusing my son."

"We don't have to make up stories to escape because we were not being immoral." Omkara informs him furiously.

"Do you have any proof that you two were not being immoral?" Abhimanyu asks them.

"You can check at the lodge; we were staying in two different rooms. If we wanted to be immoral then why would we take two different rooms in the lodge? Who knows us here? We can easily lie that we are married and stay together. When you asked us earlier, we could have lied that we are married and you would have believed us." Omkara tries to reason with Kaali.

"That's true." Kaali says thoughtfully. "This might be a misunderstanding. Bring the witness."

"I saw them together." Abhimanyu accuses them.

"You saw them?" Kaali asks him.

"Where? Inside our lodge room? did you come in there?" Omkara asks him challengingly. "How would you even know what happens inside a closed room?"

"Yes, I saw them hugging and kissing outside the lodge." Abhimanyu informs them.

"You saw?" Kaali asks angrily as he turned to Omkara and Gauri furiously and accuses them. "You lie."

Realizing Kaali would never believe them over his son, Omkara says the first thing that came to him. "Gauri is my fiancé. We are getting married soon. So, I was just wishing her good night."

"They are lying." Abhimanyu accuses furiously.

"About hugging?" Omkara asks him back.

"Is this true?" Kaali asks Gauri.

Gauri turns to Omkara and he looks at her. seeing his blank face and the way he was staring at her, Gauri turns to Kaali and says, "Yes. We are getting married."

"If they are getting married then is it immoral?" someone asks Kaali.

"But they are still not married." Someone argues.

"Yes, but they were just saying good night with a hug. Like they said, if they wanted to be immoral then they would have stayed together."

"That is true, we don't know them. so, they could have said that they were married and stayed together."

"You don't know them and they are lying that they are getting married." Abhimanyu says furiously.

"And what proof do you have that we are not getting married?" Gauri asks him angrily.

"Enough!" Kaali says loudly.

"What should we do?" someone asks Kaali.

"I need to think." Kaali says. "Till I decide what should be done with them, hold them here. Don't let them out of your sight." Kaali orders the men.

They nod in agreement.

"Come on, Abhimanyu." Kaali says and walks off.

Having no other option, Abhimanyu follows his father as he glared at Omkara and Gauri.

"Gauri..." Omkara softly calls her seeing her head bend down.

Gauri turns to look at him and guiltily says. "I won't sleep with him. even if they kill us, I won't. I am sorry."

"If I wanted to live off selling women then I would have got into pimping business." Omkara tells her.

Gauri couldn't help but smile through her tears.

"I'm sorry that I brought you here. If I hadn't then you wouldn't be in this situation."

"It is not your fault. It is his fault." Gauri tells him.

"Remember that. whatever happens remember it is his fault, not yours." Omkara tells her.

Gauri nods and scared, she asks him. "Can I hold your hand?"

Omkara sighs hearing that and he stretches palm, his finger brushing against hers. Gauri stretches her palm, and unable to hold hands, they hook their pinkies.

"We don't tolerate immorality here." Kaali says loudly.

Gauri and Omkara turn to look at each other. They tighten their grip on each other's pinky.

"But we can't ignore their arguments and that they are going to get married."

Hearing that, Omkara and Gauri look at each other hopefully.

"What Abhimanyu said is also true. They could be lying about getting married."

"We are getting married." Omkara and Gauri quickly says.

"You both will be married today." Kaali says.

"What?" Gauri and Omkara shout in shock.

"Yes. And you will leave this village in the next train. and you both will never step foot in this land ever again."

The moment the train started moving, Omkara turns to Gauri. "Gauri..."

Gauri hugs her legs and hiding her face on her lap starts crying.

Omkara kneels next to her. "Gauri..."

"What right they had to do this?" Gauri asks him as she broke down.

Omkara helplessly looks at her, not knowing how to console her. "We had no option, Gauri."

"What crime did we commit for them to do this to us?" Gauri asks him. "How am I going to explain this to my mother?"

"I'll explain it to her." Omkara promises her.

"No." Gauri tells him as she quickly removed her mangal sutra and put it on the berth. Then she wipes off her sindoor. "I won't tell her. she won't be able to bear it."

"What?" Omkara asks her in shock as he looked at the mangal sutra abandoned on the berth.

"This marriage is not legal. They forced us to get married. We don't have to tell anyone. We'll forget this happened." Gauri tells him.

Hearing her, Omkara nods. "We'll forget it happened."

Gauri nods and rubbing off her sindoor, she walks off to the bathroom to clean it off.

Few minutes later, she comes back with her maang wiped clean.

"You take rest." Omkara gently tells her.

Nodding, Gauri climbs on her berth and lies down.

When they reached their station they wordlessly got down the train and started walking out of the station.

"Erm... I'll drop you home." Omkara tells her

Gauri turns to him shocked, he never offered to drop her home before. "Company reimburses the cab charges and other expenses. I'll take a cab." Gauri reminds him.

Omkara nods.

"I'm going, sir." Gauri tells him and starts to walk off then stopping, she turns to him and tells him. "Please don't tell anyone."

"I won't." Omkara promises her.

"Not even Rudra."

"Yeah." Omkara confirms.

"Don't worry, even I won't tell anyone." Gauri tells him.

Omkara nods.

With that, Gauri walks off to the taxi area and Omkara follows behind to get a taxi for himself.

Next day, Gauri reaches office and walks to the elevator when she sees few people getting into the elevator. She starts to run when she notices Omkara get into the elevator. She stops not sure whether to get in or not. Omkara turns around and notices her. he quickly holds the elevator for her. seeing his gaze on her and him waiting for her, Gauri nervously gets into the elevator.

The elevator door closes Omkara and Gauri nervously looks at each other. Then they look away and stare at the lift display as the number kept changing. The lift stops and few gets out. The lift starts again and a floor before theirs' the lift stops again and the rest of the people get out. The lift door closes and they nervously look at each other. Suddenly, the lift felt very small and they felt as if they could hear each other's breathing and could feel the heat from each other's body.

Gauri nervously takes a deep breath while Omkara scratches his hair as he looked everywhere else. The lift stops and the door opens. Gauri quickly hurries out while Omkara leaves the breath he was holding and calmly walks out behind her.

Omkara walks into his room while Gauri got settled in her desk. They had a small office space with just Omkara and Rudra having private rooms while the rest of the team had their desk in the hall space.

Knowing she couldn't procrastinate facing Omkara, Gauri goes to his room.

"Sir?"

"Come in, Gauri." Omkara says sitting up nervously on his chair.

Gauri quickly tells him his schedule for the day and asks him about the response to the mails she had received on his behalf.

After they were done, Gauri starts to leave. Gauri stops and turns to him, "If anyone asks about the deal with Kaali Takur, what are you going to say?"

"That their demands were too much." Omkara replies.

"Okay." Gauri nods and starts to leave.

"Gauri..."

"Yes, sir?" Gauri turns to him.

"You decided to forget what happened. So, just be normal. Don't give others any reason to be suspicious." Omkara tells her.

Gauri nods.

"You're okay, right?" Omkara asks her softly.

"I don't know." Gauri helplessly tells him. "Are you okay?"

Omkara shrugs in confusion.

Gauri was watching Ozark on her laptop, when someone comes near her ears and asks her, "What are you watching?"

Gauri jumps up in her seat and turns to look who it was and sees Rudra leaning next to her as he looked at the screen.

"Oh hi Rudra."

"Ozark! You're watching it now only?" Rudra asks her.

"Unlike you, I don't sit in office and watch full season back to back." Gauri teases him as she removed her headphones.

As long as you did your work on time, no one really cared about what you did during your free time. that was one of the reason, how she was able to study for her course comfortably. And their office didn't have set work timings too. Omkara believed that productivity increases when people worked in their own comfortable time.

Rudra frowns at her. "Show me respect, Gauri. someone dies in this episode."

Realizing he was threatening her with spoilers, Gauri quickly says. "Please don't tell me. you're the best, Rudra."

Rudra smugly grins. "That's like it."

Gauri rolls her eyes. "You had some work with me?" Gauri asks.

"No..." Rudra shrugs as he stood up. "Erm...it didn't work out with Kaali Takur... huh?" Rudra asks a little disappointed.

Gauri nods uncomfortably.

"Omkara seems to be a little upset about it. he has been silent since he got back." Rudra tells her.

"Oh." Gauri nervously says.

"He is always positive about everything. I guess he was really hoping for this deal."

"Hmmm."

"Anyway, something else will come up." Rudra says waving it off.

"Yes." Gauri automatically replies.

"Did Ridhima say anything?" Rudra asks her gently.

Realizing that he had actually come to talk to her about that, Gauri relaxes. "She spoke to sir." Gauri tells him.

"Yeah I know. She is not happy about this change. And Omkara prefers that you assist him than her. he told her it is either assisting Ajay or she can resign. She was rather pissed."

Gauri nods. When she was transferred from Ajay to Omkara, her salary had increased because her work load had increased tremendously. So, she wondered whether Ridhima's salary was cut down when she was kind of demoted.

"So, if she says anything to you, let me know." Rudra tells her.

"Okay." Gauri nods.

The next couple of days went uneventful and Omkara and Gauri were getting adjusted to their new reality though neither spoke to each other about it.

"Anything else?" Omkara asks after they had finished their daily meeting.

"It is Mukesh's birthday today." Gauri informs him.

"Okay." Omkara takes his wallet and gives her money.

After starting the company, when the first person they had hired, his birthday had come, Omkara and Rudra had pitched in money and got him a small gift voucher as a birthday gift, and ever since then the tradition had stuck on with every staff pitching in to give a birthday gift and a small cake.

Gauri takes the money from him.

"When is your birthday?" Omkara asks her.

"April 8th. Why?" Gauri asks him curious.

Not knowing why, he had asked her that, Omkara shrugs. "Just... simply... asked."

"Oh okay." Gauri turns to go then stopping curiously, she asks him. "When is yours, sir?"

"August 14th... why?"

"Just... simply... asked." Gauri also replies and she quickly turns around and leaves.

Cursing herself, Gauri sat in her chair. What was the need to ask him for his birthday? It would be there somewhere in her calendar. She could have found from that. and why does it matter when it is his birthday?

Omkara sits up exasperated. What was the need to ask her for her birthday? I could have just looked at her file and found her birthday. And why do I need to know her birthday?

"Sir, it's time to cut the cake." Gauri informs him.

"Yeah, coming. give me two minutes." Omkara says.

"Okay." Gauri replies and leaves to join the rest of the staff.

Gauri opens the pantry door and walk in.

"Where is Omkara?" Mukesh asks her.

"He is coming in two minutes." Gauri tells him.

"Rudra is also coming." Richa informs them. "He is on a call."

They hung around as they chatted, as they waited for Rudra and Omkara to come. Gauri was talking to one of the staff when she notices Ridhima glaring at her. Gauri looks away. the door opens and Omkara steps in.

"Happy birthday, Mukesh." Omkara wishes him as he stood next to Gauri near the door.

"Thank you, Omkara." Mukesh replies with a smile.

"Rudra isn't here?" Omkara asks Gauri.

"He is coming." Gauri replies as she turned to him and stops in shock realizing that he had leaned towards her to ask. Seeing him so close, her heart started beating fast, but she couldn't move back. all she could do was stare into his eyes.

Having her look at him like that, Omkara couldn't help but be lost in her eyes. He forgot to breath.

They were lost in each other's eyes when Omkara was pushed forward towards Gauri.

"Sorry... I'm here." Rudra says as he opened the door and walked in.

Gauri quickly holds Omkara to steady him. on reflex, Omkara holds Gauri. nervous they stare at each other, unable to let go. Heart slamming against their chest.

"Let's cut the cake." Rudra says excitedly as he hit Omkara on his shoulder.

Breaking them out of their trance, Gauri and Omkara quickly look away. though conscious and nervous, they don't move away from each other. Unable to move away, they stood side by side.

Everyone start singing the happy birthday song. As everyone were busy singing and watching Mukesh cut the cake, Omkara couldn't help but look at Gauri and Gauri at the same instant looks at him. they both quickly look away.

What the hell is wrong with me? what is happening? They both wondered.

Mukesh cuts a big piece and he starts feeding everyone. after feeding Rudra the cake, Mukesh offers the cake to Omkara. Gauri sees Omkara biting into the cake. Gauri gulps nervously as Mukesh offered her the cake next. Very aware that Omkara had just bit that cake, Gauri nervously bites the cake. Unable to control herself, she turns to look at Omkara and sees him watching her.

Omkara takes his hand forward and then realizing what he was about to do, he stops and gestures to Gauri's lips. Realizing there was cake on her lips, Gauri wipes it off.

Confused about what is happening with him, Omkara leaves.

Fed up and confused at the way she was behaving around him, Gauri hits her palm on her head.

"What happened?" the person next to her asks her curiously.

"Erm... I forgot to send a mail." Gauri mumbles and hurries off to escape.

Hearing laughter, Gauri curiously looks up and sees Omkara with Rudra and Mukesh as they talked. Rudra was sitting on the desk, while Mukesh sat on the chair and Omkara was leaning against the wall.

Gauri couldn't help look at Omkara. no one would say that he was the owner of the company. He was friendly with every staff and was a very approachable boss. So far, she has never seen him lose his temper at anyone but he was stern when he needed to be and kind when needed to be. He was the exact opposite of all those Mills & Boons alpha bosses. Maybe it is because he is not a super rich successful businessman yet. But somewhere in her, she knew, even when he becomes a successful businessman, he would remain the same.

Realizing he was looking at her, Gauri consciously sits up, though she couldn't avert her eyes from him, and even he didn't take his eyes off her. lately, she kept staring at him and most of the time, he would be looking back at her. she didn't know whether it was because of that forceful marriage or because it was something else.

"Hey, Omkara... where are you lost?" Rudra asks him.

"What?" Omkara turns to Rudra breaking out of his stupor.

Rudra curiously follows his gaze and it falls on Gauri. Gauri immediately looks at her monitor. "What? You got some work?" Rudra asks Omkara curiously.

"No... no..." Omkara says shaking his head. "I was just looking whether it was time for marketing meeting. What were you saying?"

Gauri listened to Omkara, Rudra and the marketing team discussing various marketing plans for the coming quarter as she was taking down the minutes.

"Gauri..." Omkara calls her.

"Yes?" Gauri looks up at him.

"Do you have anything to add?" Omkara asks her.

"What?" Gauri asks him confused.

"You said you wanted to work in marketing."

"Yes." Gauri replies as she looked at Ajay and his team.

Ridhima's face picks up hearing that.

"So, do you've any suggestions and thoughts on what we discussed." Omkara asks her.

"Erm..." Gauri sits up smiling excitedly as she looked through her notes. "Yes." Gauri says with an excited smile.

Omkara nods as he waited for her to continue. Gauri quickly starts giving her suggestions and what changes she thought they should make from the ones everyone had said while Omkara intently listened to her.

Finishing Gauri nervously looks at Omkara, waiting to hear his thoughts on her thoughts.

Omkara watches her for a few seconds and then with a hint of smile, he tells her, "I'll miss you when you go to marketing, Gauri."

Gauri's face breaks out into a big smile hearing that. he looked so proud of her just then.

"What Gauri suggested is better, Ajay. We'll incorporate that in our coming quarter." Omkara tells Ajay.

"Gauri to marketing?" Ajay asks frowning in confusion. "Is she going to assist me?"

"No... she'll be joining the marketing team." Omkara informs him.

"I don't need more people in marketing." Ajay informs Omkara, slightly offended for having a decision regarding his team taken without consulting him.

Omkara frowns in displeasure hearing that.

"Not now, Ajay. When an opening comes up." Gauri clarifies to him.

"If and when an opening comes up. Let's see then." Ajay says getting up. "For now, go and mail me the minutes of the meeting."

Omkara turns to Ajay furiously and asks, "What right do you have to order Gauri like that?"

Ajay turns to Omkara in shock, seeing him angry for the first time. "I was just telling her that I want a copy of the minutes."

"You were ordering her. Everyone is equal here, Ajay. That is the company policy." Rudra reminds him. "And Gauri is not your assistant. Your assistant is Ridhima and mailing you the minutes of the meeting is her job."

"It is just that Ridhima would have missed many points..." Ajay quickly tries to explain.

"Then you should be requesting Gauri. or making your own notes." Omkara tells him angrily. "Next time I hear you talk to Gauri or anyone like that, you'll be out of here."

Ajay nervously nods.

"If you don't like the work I do for you then let Gauri assist you. I'll assist Omkara." Ridhima says pissed. "Anyway, Gauri wants to work in marketing."

And somehow that pissed Omkara off more than anything else. And he says pissed. "The only reason I didn't fire you before was because Rudra told me we couldn't afford a better executive assistant. After working with Gauri, I know for this salary also I can get a good assistant. So, you better buck up and do your work Ridhima otherwise, the company will let you go."

Gulping in shock Ridhima nods in yes.

"You all can leave." Omkara says in a dismissing tone.

Ajay and Ridhima walk out as they glared at Gauri. Gauri waits for the rest of the team members to leave.

"Rudra, I need to talk to you." Omkara tells him seeing him walking to the door.

Gauri leaves the room and closes the door. she sees Ajay and Ridhima furiously glaring at her from their desk, she ignores them and walks to her desk and does her work.

Hearing a furious voice, Gauri curiously looks up. She looks around and sees everything normal. Realizing that it was coming from Omkara's room, she moves her chair a little more closer to the door, and strains to hear.

"Are you out of your freaking mind, Omkara?" Rudra furiously asks him.

"It's my decision, Rudra." Omkara replies in a calmer but stern voice.

"I'm struggling with so much work here. If we could afford one more staff then I would have hired someone in the accounts team. And you want to make a post for Gauri in marketing? That would not only increase her salary..."

"Gauri told me that money is not an issue. I will talk to her. I'm sure we can come to an understanding."

"What about the salary for your new assistant?" Rudra asks him.

"We can let go of Ridhima. I am starting to wonder whether Ajay really needs an assistant."

"He has too many meetings and events. He needs that assistance." Rudra confirms. "While Ridhima was on leave, he had been pestering me, asking for a new assistant."

"But when Gauri joins the team, Ajay's work load will obviously lessen that time, would he need an assistant?" Omkara asks him and he says. "If it was Gauri in his place, she would have handled it all without an assistant."

"Omkara, just because Gauri is an excellent assistant to you, doesn't mean she will excel in marketing or other fields. And Gauri might also ask for an assistant."

"You heard her, earlier. She belongs in marketing." Omkara says in an offended tone.

"Yes, she seems to have a grasp on it." Rudra agrees.

"Then don't argue, just do what I am saying."

"Omkara... right now, we can't." Rudra argues.

"Rudra..."

"And Omkara, I am getting this feeling that there is something about Gauri that is affecting you." Rudra says in a suspicious tone.

Gauri panics hearing that and she waits with bated breath to hear what Omkara says.

"Nothing like that. Rudra, this is my company and this is my decision."

"What is with this Mata Shivagami attitude? Mera vachan hi mera shaasan hai." Rudra asks him.

There was a silence for a few seconds then Omkara and Rudra were howling with laughter.

"Man, just do what I am saying." Omkara says as their laughter dies down.

"Okay, I'll but let's just wait." Rudra says giving in. "We're going to US in a few days to finalize the deal. So, once this investor comes through then we can do it. that time we can afford a new assistant for you, an accountant for my team and Gauri can do whatever it is in marketing department."

"Fine." Omkara gives in.

Hearing Rudra walking out, Gauri quickly sits properly as she stared into her laptop screen. Though her heart was slamming against her chest. She wanted to talk to Omkara about what she overheard and knowing she would have to confess that she was snooping, she couldn't. she felt touched and ecstatic that he thought she deserved to be in marketing but she didn't want him to go out of his way to do all that for her.

Gauri was disinterestedly working. Her mind elsewhere. It's been three days since Omkara and Rudra had gone to the USA to meet someone in regards to him investing in the company. Every so often, her eyes would go to his room and she had no idea why she was missing him like this.

Tired and drained, after a long day, Omkara falls on his bed. He sighs as he closed his eyes. He was hungry but too tired to even get up.

"Oh my baby is so tired." Gauri whispers as she leaned on him and pressed his shoulders gently.

"Gauri..." Omkara whispers her name as he smiled.

Gauri leans further down and whispers into his ears. "Omkara."

Omkara feels the blood flowing south having her so close to him. having her lying on him like that. "Gauri..."

"What do you want, Omkara?" Gauri asks him.

"I want you." Omkara whispers.

"And what is stopping you?" Gauri asks him back. "Claim your wife, Omkara."

Hearing her, Omkara holds her and turns around, trapping her beneath him. And the next second, they were naked and writhing in pleasure and Omkara kept thrusting into her.

Hearing a loud sound, Omkara wakes up in shock. He looks around as he tried to steady his breath realizing that he was having a very vivid dream of Gauri. hearing the sound, he sees that his phone was ringing.

"Hello?"

"Where are you? I'm at the restaurant." Rudra asks him.

"Coming. I dozed off." Omkara tells him and hangs up the call. Then sighing he lies back.

"WOW! That's amazing, Omkara. I knew, you could do it." Gauri says excitedly.

Hearing Rudra calling him, Omkara tells Gauri. "I've to go. Rudra is calling me."

"Okay." Gauri says smiling then she asks him. "Sir, you're flying back tomorrow, right?"

"Yes. All okay there?"

"Yes."

"Okay, I'll see you when I get back." Omkara says and hangs up.

Smiling Gauri hangs up the phone. She lies back as she thought of this big achievement for Omkara and their company. As she was dozing off, her last thought was, why did Omkara call her of all the people in the world to share his happiness with?

Next day, seeing no one mentioning about the investment, Gauri realized that they were not aware of it. maybe Omkara and Rudra were planning to inform after they got back. so she also doesn't mention it to anyone.

Seeing that the day after Omkara and she has to go on a three day trip to attend an conference. Gauri felt a little worried realizing that Omkara was travelling back to back. he wouldn't be getting a proper day's rest. And she knew, he was going to get busier with the new investment. Gauri sighs.

"How is he?" Vasundhara asks her excitedly.

"Who is this?" Gauri asks her frowning looking at the photo on mobile screen.

"Sheila got this proposal for you. I'll forward you all the details. You see."

"Ma, I want to work." Gauri quickly tells her, her heart skipping several beats and her thoughts going to Omkara.

"You can work after marriage too. You see his details. He is just perfect for you."

"I'll check. You go. Now, I am going to sleep." Gauri tells her mother irately.

"Fine... but check... okay?" Vasundhara tells her and leaves the room.

Gauri lies on her bed and looks at the photo of the man. He was a good looking man. But she didn't feel anything seeing him.

Feeling sleepy, she yawns as she lay on her side and read the details about the man whom her mother thought was perfect for her.

"Perfect? Him? for you?" Omkara asks her.

Gauri looks up and sees him leaning on her cupboard.

"Omkara?" Gauri sits up in shock.

"Is he perfect, Gauri?" Omkara asks her.

Gauri gulps hearing the question.

"Or is your husband the perfect one for you?" Omkara asks her as he sauntered to her.

Hearing him, Gauri worriedly looks at him.

Omkara bends down, and holds her leg and pulls her towards him.

"Omkara..." Gauri gasps in shock.

Omkara leans down and his lips brushes against her lips. "You're my wife. You belong to me."

Gauri leans up to take his lips in hers and Omkara moves back. Omkara leans back down and teases her by brushing his lips against hers. When she tries to kiss him again, he moves back.

"Omkara..." Gauri says pleadingly.

"First you say it." Omkara tells her.

"I'm yours." Gauri whispers to him.

Omkara leans down and takes her lips in his possessively. Gauri pulls him towards her as she hungrily kissed him.

Omkara gets on the bed with her. Gauri lies back and Omkara lies on top her as he kissed her down her naked body. Feeling the pressure on her core, realizing her body's need for him. "Omkara..."

Understanding her need, Omkara enters her and Gauri opens her eyes in shock. Her heart beating fast, Gauri looks around the room, and realizes that she was alone. Everyone excitedly cheers hearing Omkara's announcement. Gauri watches as everyone congratulated Omkara and they all congratulated each other. Omkara turns to look at her, she smiles at him, silently congratulating him. he smiles back at her, understanding her.

"When is the party?" Mukesh asks loudly.

"Party?" Omkara asks laughing.

"Oh we are definitely celebrating." Rudra declares happily.

"YES!" Everyone shouts excitedly.

"Okay." Omkara agrees happily.

Gauri was dancing with the girls while the men were having their drinks. As she danced, Gauri curiously turns to look at Omkara and sees him watching her, as he sat with the guys while they talked. She continued to look at him while she danced with him watching her.

"Let's dance." One of the guys says.

The guys start walking towards the dance floor, and Omkara gets up and follows them, his eyes on Gauri. he joins them, and stopping next to Gauri.

Gauri continues to dance as she looked at him. Omkara starts swaying with her. without saying anything, they just swayed to each other's rhythm.

Someone pushes Gauri, and she crashes to Omkara's chest. Omkara keeps his hand on her waist to steady her. once she was steady, he doesn't take off his hand. Remembering her dream from the night before, Gauri couldn't control, and she moves closer to him, her chest brushing against his. Omkara pulls her closer to him, pressing up against each other. Seeing the raw passion in each other's eyes, and their raging breath and feeling their heart beat against their chest, they both realized that it wasn't just in their hearts, the other equally desired them.

"5 star hotel?" Gauri asks shocked. "I thought we were booked in a 3 star hotel."

"I asked Rudra to change it. now we have funds, we are raising our bar. The contacts and respect that we get by keeping this appearance that this is our company's normal standard is important." Omkara tells her.

Gauri nods and follows him. all the way here, they hadn't said a word to each other. They had been silent, nervous and ogling at each other.

"The event is here only. So convenient for us and easier to get meetings with people." Omkara tells her.

"Okay." Gauri nods smiling. "We are going to the next level."

"Yes." Omkara smiles hearing that. "Let's check in. it should start in an hour. I'll see you back here in 55 mins."

"Okay."

The first day of event was nice with them getting an opening with many people.

Gauri was making note of all the people that they met and what they spoke with, and who all had given an appointment for one more meeting.

Feeling a tingling sensation on her neck, Gauri curiously turns to look and sees Omkara watching her as he spoke to an elderly gentleman. She sits back as she watched him. omkara continued to talk to the man though his gaze kept coming back to her.

Omkara ends his conversation with the man and he walks to Gauri. seeing him walk to her, Gauri stands up and waits for him to reach her.

"Let's go." Omkara tells her.

Gauri nods and follows him. "How did it go with him?"

"He is interested. He was looking for someone like us. I'm meeting him for breakfast tomorrow to discuss further."

"That's nice." Gauri says smiling.

Omkara smiles at her.

"Long day." Gauri says as they waited for the lift.

"Very." Omkara agrees.

They get into the lift, the lift door closes. It was just them in the lift and realizing that, all tiredness left them and new life and energy filled them.

Nervous, from the corner of her eyes, Gauri looks at Omkara. Omkara also nervously looks at her. Omkara starts to move closer to her when the lift door opens and a man gets in.

They remained silent as the lift went up the floors. The tension filling the air around them, their heart beats raising. Hearing the ding for their floor, Omkara and Gauri step out and start walking towards their rooms.

Their rooms were opposite to each other and they stop in front of their rooms. Gauri takes out her key card and starts to unlock her room, then unable to fight her urge, she nervously looks at Omkara.

Omkara also had turned to look at her, seeing her looking at him, Omkara unlocks the door, and without taking his eyes off Gauri, he steps aside as he holds the door wide open.

Gauri gulps seeing that. her heart slamming against her chest, nervous and excited, Gauri looks down and walks into his bedroom.

Her heart raising against her chest, Gauri stood by the window, looking out. Hearing the door bell, Omkara walks to the door and opens the door. he takes the packet from the waiter and locking the door, he walks back in.

Gauri turns to look at him and Omkara puts the condom packet, on the bedside table. He walks to her, seeing that Gauri steps forward towards him. Omkara stops in front of her. Gauri looks up at him and steps closer to him. Omkara cups her face and kisses her on her forehead. Gauri nervously grips his shirt. Omkara wraps his hand around her waist as he kissed down her face. unable to wait anymore, Gauri lifts her head up, and Omkara takes her lips in his. They hug each other as they hungrily kissed each other.

Gauri reaches the lobby and sees Omkara talking to someone. He immediately looks at her, remembering all that, that had happened between them the previous night, Gauri quickly looks down, her cheeks heating up.

Gauri stood there till Omkara finished his conversation with the person. Then omkara walked towards her.

"Good morning." Omkara whispers against her ears.

Gauri blushes as she looked at him.

"Had breakfast?" Omkara asks her with a smile.

Gauri shakes her head in negative.

"Come." Omkara says as he kept his hand on her midriff and guided her to the restaurant.

Omkara walked with Gauri as she walked through the buffet area, taking her food.

"Why didn't you wake me up?" Gauri asks him as she blushed looking at her plate.

"I kept you awake the whole night, I thought I'll let you sleep late."

Gauri turns a darker shade of pink and she looks up at him. "Even I kept you awake the whole night."

Omkara breaks out into a bigger smile hearing that and says hotly. "And I intend to keep you awake tonight also."

Gauri turns red with blush and she looks down, feeling herself getting hot.

Seeing that Omkara leans down and quickly pecks her cheek. Gauri looks at him in shock and he winks at her. then he felt her hold his hand and squeezes it tight.

"Don't you have to go for the event?"

"We'll... you finish your breakfast first." Omkara tells her smiling.

"How did your breakfast meeting go?" Gauri asks as she sat down at one table.

"Good." Omkara replies as he sat opposite to her.

They sat together and spoke as she had her breakfast.

Gauri stood next to Omkara as he talked to someone. She knew, she should be following their conversations and make necessary actions based on their conversation but she couldn't listen to a word, her full concentration on Omkara as he nodded to whatever the man was saying. she was so happy to be with him. She was so crazy about him and she just couldn't wait to be alone with him. be in his arms, make love. Feeling herself turning pink, she quickly looks down wanting to calm her raising heart.

The moment the man left, Omkara turns to Gauri and tells her in a whisper. "Please mail me what all he said. I didn't hear a word."

"Even I didn't!" Gauri tells him in shock.

"What?" Omkara asks her in shock. "What were you doing then?"

"I guess, the same thing you were doing." Gauri replies to him.

Omkara grins hearing that. "Really?" he asks her with a sexy smile.

Gauri blushes hearing that then pushing him, she tells him. "Now, go try talking to him and see when he asked us to meet him again."

"Okay. don't know how I am going to manage that." Omkara mutters as he hurried after the man.

Omkara and Gauri excitedly smiled at each other as they stood inside the lift. Omkara slides towards her, and Gauri pushes him off shyly as she worriedly looked at other people in the lift.

Omkara kisses her in the air and Gauri glares at him. Omkara silently chuckles as he looked away.

They get down in their floor and excitedly they hurry to the room.

"I'll come now." Gauri tells Omkara as they reached his room.

"You vacate your room. bring your stuff." Omkara tells her.

Gauri smiles hearing that then she tells him. "You vacate your room. my room has better view."

Cheekily grinning, Omkara asks her, "Wow Gauri, you've view from your bed?"

Gauri turns pink hearing that and she hits him.

Smiling, Omkara cups her face and lovingly requests her. "You do as I say."

"Okay." Gauri smiles. "I'll call Ma, get my stuff and take a shower and come."

"You do all that, but shower, we'll have it together." Omkara tells her with a wink.

Twenty minutes later, Gauri stood outside Omkara's room and rang the bell. When he didn't open, she rings the bell again.

Gauri puts her bag on the floor as she pulled out her mobile to call him.

"Gauri..."

Gauri turns around and finds Omkara walking towards her.

Gauri chuckles seeing him. "I have been ringing the bell like a stupid person. Where did you go?"

"I just went to check something." Omkara tells her as he picked her bag. "Come."

"Where to?" Gauri asks confused as she followed him.

"I'll tell you." Omkara tells her as he took her to the lift and went up.

They walk through the corridor and Omkara stops in front of a room.

"Who is here?" Gauri asks him confused.

Omkara hands her the key card.

"We are moving to this room?" Gauri asks him excitedly as she took the key card.

"Yes." Omkara tells her smiling happily seeing her excitement.

Gauri opens the door and seeing the room she excitedly shrieks. Omkara smiles seeing her excitement and leaving her bags on the floor, he hugs her from behind.

"Honeymoon suite... I never thought we would stay in one." Gauri tells Omkara as she lay in bed with him.

"I'm glad you liked it." Omkara tells her.

Worried Gauri asks him, "We can afford this, right?"

"We can't afford it regularly but we can indulge once in a while." Omkara tells her.

Gauri turns to him and takes his lips in hers. "I like indulging in you more."

Hearing the phone ring, Omkara answers it.

"Hello.... Yeah.... Oh why is that?.... hmmm... hmmm... so what can we do?... you can't make a new booking?... okay, I understand... fine, charge it to that card... no... don't use points, I will pay for the room." Omkara says and hangs up the phone.

"All okay?" Gauri asks him.

"Yeah... yeah.... Billing confusion." Omkara tells her as he took his mobile and called Rudra.

"Hey Man... what's up? How is it going?" Rudra asks as he answered the call.

"All good... how is everything there?"

"Good."

"Listen... the hotel said that you used some points for the payment."

"Yeah... since you said that now you would be staying at five star hotels, I got this credit card, the benefit of it was 200 thousand loyalty points for this hotel chain. So, I used those points to book the rooms. What happened?"

"No, I changed the room. upgraded the room and told them to charge it to my card. Since you used points and it is the same booking they will be charging it to the company card only."

"Okay... but why change the room?" Rudra asks confused.

"I'll explain when I get back."

"Okay."

"So, the hotel will be charging the card, I'll reimburse the amount."

"You don't have to; you're staying there for the company only."

"No... no... this is not on company. I'll explain when I get back."

"Okay."

After Omkara kept the phone, Gauri asks him softly. "What are you going to tell him?"

"About us." Omkara tells her then smiling, he reassures her. "First we'll tell your mother then only we'll tell him."

Gauri turns around and lies on her stomach as she leaned up balancing herself on her hands and looked at him. "Can we take it slow, Omkara?"

"Slow?" Omkara asks her confused then chuckling he says, "Gauri, I really don't know what your idea of slow is when you're lying naked with me on bed. If those condoms didn't do their job, we could be pregnant too."

Gauri worriedly looks at him and gently tells him. "I just don't want anyone to know about us now."

"Why?" Omkara asks her shocked and hurt as he leaned up in bed and rested against the headrest.

"Please Omkara, let's just keep this between us for now."

"Why?"

Gauri doesn't reply as she helplessly looked at him.

Omkara watches her for some time and he says. "Rudra is my brother, Gauri. but when it comes down to it, in this whole world, you're the only one I can call my family, and you're asking me to hide that from the world."

"Why am I your family, Omkara?" Gauri asks him sadly.

"Because you're my wife, Gauri." Omkara reminds her with a frown.

"If we hadn't got married, would you've still been with me like this?" Gauri asks him.

"I don't understand what you're saying. Gauri."

"I would have never got intimate with anyone without marriage, Omkara."

"We are married, Gauri."

"I desired you, Om. I had these dreams and emotional pull towards you. and knowing that we were married, I just let all this happen between us. but I can't help wonder whether all these emotions and feelings are they there because someone had decided that we have to get married or we would have felt all these even if we weren't married."

"What difference does it make?" Omkara asks her.

"Not now, but after a few days what if we realize all this is just because of the marriage."

"Is that so bad?" Omkara asks her. "How many people get married and the feelings happen after that? how many people have arranged marriage with someone their parents picked and are happy together?"

"What if we regret it later?"

"What if you regret it later?" Omkara asks her in hurt.

Gauri shakes her head. "You've never had a family and suddenly I became your wife. And you just accepted me. if someone else was in my place, would you've accepted her too?"

"I don't know, Gauri. but it took me a long time to realize that even before we got married, I had desired you."

"Even I realized that I desired you, Omkara."

"Then what is the problem?" Omkara asks her.

"But would we have acted on these if we weren't forcefully married?" Gauri worriedly asks him.

"Gauri, it was a forced marriage but the moment we walked into my room last night it became a marriage of choice." Omkara tells her.

"Please Omkara... let's just take it slow for now. so, there is no doubt or fear."

"You're feeling insecure." Omkara says softly.

Gauri nods in yes. "If instead of me, it was Ridhima then would you be with her here now?"

Omkara felt puke-ish and shrugs in disgust.

"I just can't help wonder about all that, Om." Gauri helplessly tells him.

Hearing that, Omkara couldn't help wonder whether if in his place, it was someone else, would Gauri have been with him like this. Once that thought, got into his head, he couldn't shake it off.

"What do you want us to do, Gauri?" Omkara asks her gently.

"I don't want to tell anyone about us for now, Omkara. what if this doesn't work out? I can't hurt my mother like that."

Omkara nods hearing that.

"Let's just forget about the marriage for now. we'll date each other and see for some time."

Gauri anxiously looks at him and Omkara reassuringly smiles at her. "Okay."

Gauri smiles in relief and hugs him happily.

"But I've a condition."

"What is it?"

"If we decide that we don't want to be together, then we'll get a divorce." Omkara tells her.

Gauri looks at him nervously.

"After all this, if we are going our separate way then we'll end it all properly."

Gauri knew that was the right thing to do. Even though no one knew of their marriage, in their hearts they knew they were married and if Omkara was to move on if they end everything, then he should be a free man to do so.

Gauri nods in yes.

"Don't worry. We'll do it as secretly as possible if we have to." Omkara promises her though he prayed that it won't come to that.

Omkara turns off the shower and turns to grab a towel.

"You go." Gauri tells him as she turned back the shower on.

"What?" Omkara asks surprised seeing her standing under the shower.

"I need to shower." Gauri tells him.

"We took a shower."

"I need a proper shower."

"really?" Omkara asks with a sexy smile as he moved towards her.

Gauri laughs seeing that. "Alone... you go... else we will be late. Go."

"Even I want a proper shower."

"No, you don't. go." Gauri laughs as she pushed him out of the shower cubicle.

"Gauri..." Omkara excitedly turns to her. "Proper shower in the tub."

"No way... I kept slipping off." Gauri tells him exasperated.

Omkara chuckles as he left the cubicle.

Gauri comes out after her shower and she sees Omkara sitting in the balcony. She steps out and hearing her, he looks at her.

Gauri sits on his lap. "What are you thinking?"

"That we've to go back today." Omkara tells her as he wrapped his hands around her.

"Are you angry with me?"

"I can never be angry with you." Omkara tells her as he kissed her cheek lovingly.

"But you're not happy."

"I thought you would be with me from now on." Omkara tells her.

Gauri nods as she guiltily looks down.

"But it is important that we both are sure this is what we want."

Gauri smiles in relief. "Till then we will see each other in office. We're most of the time together only."

"Yeah but not for long though."

"Why?"

"Rudra is already interviewing some candidates to replace you. once he finds someone good, you'll move to marketing."

Gauri nods and hugs him tight. "We'll find time for each other, Om. I promise."

"I'm going to hold you to that." Omkara tells her as he hugged her tight.

"I've to go." Gauri whispers against Omkara's lips.

"No... I missed you so much last night." Omkara says as he pulled her close to him.

"Liar... we were on the phone whole night." Gauri teases him.

"So I can't miss you?" Omkara asks her as he stepped back.

Gauri chuckles and says. "I'm going." She opens the door and stopping, she turns to look at him, and tells him, "Even I missed you."

Omkara smiles hearing that.

Gauri was working when she hears someone walk towards that side. She curiously looks up and sees Rudra walking towards her then he stops and he looks at her for a few seconds. Seeing him so agitated, Gauri was about to ask him what happened when he opens the door and walks into Omkara's room.

"Do you want to tell me what is happening?" she hears Rudra asking Omkara.

With the way he had looked at her and the question, Gauri couldn't help think that he had somehow found out about Omkara and her, she couldn't sit still and she gets up and runs into Omkara's room.

"What do..." Omkara stops seeing Gauri run in. "Gauri?"

Gauri worriedly looks at Rudra then she worriedly looks at Omkara.

"So it is her!" Rudra declares in shock.

"Her? What are you talking about?" Omkara asks him in confusion as he stood up.

"Honeymoon suite? Condoms?" Rudra asks him in shock.

Omkara stops in shock and looks at Gauri and sees her worriedly looking at him.

"What is happening? Are you two dating?" Rudra asks them.

Omkara looks at Gauri and sees her watching him.

"So? You guys are together?" Rudra asks.

"We're married." Omkara informs him. then looking at Gauri he tells her. "I can't lie to him, Gauri."

Gauri nods understanding.

"WHAAAT?" Rudra shouts in shock. "You guys got married?"

"Remember, we went to meet Kaali Takur." Omkara starts to tell him and explains to him what all had happened and why they want to take their time before they told everyone.

"Damn!" Rudra mutters in shock as he sat down.

"Rudra, we have decided not to tell anyone for the time being." Gauri gently tells him.

Rudra looks at Gauri then he turns to Omkara and tells him angrily. "You should have told me, Omkara."

"Man, I told you..." Omkara starts.

"At least when you called to inform me about this bill thing." Rudra tells him.

"what happened?" Omkara asks him.

"I told Richa to handle the bill." Rudra tells him.

"What?" Gauri whispers in shock, her heart slamming against her chest.

"And she did?" Omkara asks as he looked at Gauri worriedly.

"Yeah... she is the one who found the honeymoon suite and condoms in the bill. She also noticed that you both had vacated the rooms you were in and only one room was taken after that."

"Oh my God." Gauri gulps in worry. "She is going to tell everyone."

"I told her that it might be a mistake and they might have sent the wrong bill. I told her that I'll clarify with Omkara and contact the hotel."

"Did she buy it?" Omkara asks him.

"I guess so... maybe... I'll tell her that you both had shifted to cheaper rooms and that it might be an error from the hotel's end and I'll handle it." Rudra says.

Omkara and Gauri nods.

"I'll tell her not to mention this to anyone and start an unnecessary rumor." Rudra tells them.

"Thanks, man." Omkara tells him smiling.

"Thank you, Rudra." Gauri also feeling relieved.

Rudra smiles at Gauri and tells her, "Anything for you, Bhabhi."

Gauri gasps in shock hearing that. Rudra chuckles and walks to Omkara and hugs him.

"So happy for you, man." Rudra tells him happily. "You guys are so perfect for each other."

Omkara smiles happily as he looked at Gauri. Gauri smiles and feeling relieved and her guilt easing that now, Omkara could share about their relation with his brother and best friend.

"Now, give me the details of this Abhimanyu. I'll give it to Bhavya." Rudra says and turning to Gauri, he says. "Bhavya is my girlfriend, she is a journalist. She will expose that Abhimanyu and his father who think they can decide on other people's life."

"But Rudra..." Omkara starts.

"Your names won't come out." Rudra promises them.

Things were going smoothly for the next couple of days. When an exciting news reached Omkara and Gauri.

"I'm so happy that Bhavya's sting operation worked and they exposed that Abhimanyu." Gauri tells Omkara happily.

"His father is also punished for bringing his own law. Punishing people for what he thinks is a crime." Omkara says happily. "People have legal rights to be with each other as long as both parties are consenting and he criminalized it and his son misused it to his advantage."

"They deserved it." Gauri tells Omkara as she hugged him.

"They did." Omkara agrees as he hugged her back.

One day, Omkara was getting into the lift when he was pushed into the lift. Shocked he turns around and finds Gauri closing the door.

"Gauri..." Omkara calls out her name, smiling in confusion.

Gauri walks to him and keeps her hand on either side of him. "You're at my mercy."

Omkara chuckles hearing that.

"I'm serious."

"Oh no... please, I will do anything. just don't hurt me." Omkara says though he was shaking with laughter.

Gauri gives up fed up. "You're so bad at role playing."

Omkara laughs hearing that and he sings sensuously, "I know you're the bad girl, I can be your bad boy."

Gauri turns pink hearing that. she leans up and takes his lips in hers. "I told Ma that I've to work late today."

"And what work do you have?" Omkara asks her as he kissed her.

"Be your bad girl."

Gauri looks around Omkara's one bed room flat. It was a small and neat flat.

After seeing around the flat, they walk into his bedroom. Omkara hugs her from behind. "Stay here tonight."

"not today. another day. we'll plan and I'll come." Gauri promises him as she turned to him and hugged him.

Noticing the mangal sutra on the dressing table, Gauri walks to it and takes it in surprise. "You took it?"

"I couldn't leave it behind." Omkara tells her as he walked to her.

"That is why I couldn't find it when I looked for it." Gauri whispers surprised.

"You looked for it?" Omkara asks surprised, smiling happily.

Gauri nods. "I thought someone might have stolen it."

"I kinda did." Omkara jokes.

Gauri chuckles and she takes Omkara's hand and she keeps it on his hand. "Now, I'll take it back from you when we tell everyone that I'm your wife."

Omkara smiles and hugs her happily.

"Is Omkara free?" Rudra asks Gauri as he walked to her with a man.

"He is not on a call." Gauri tells him. "Don't know if he is busy with any work. You want me to check?" Gauri asks him, though Rudra never took permission to enter Omkara's room.

"It's okay, I'll go in." Rudra tells her. "Since you are here, it would mean that he is busy." Rudra cheekily tells her.

Gauri's eyes widen in shock and she glares at Rudra though she couldn't control her blush.

Rudra chuckles seeing that. "You wait here." Rudra tells the man and goes in.

A minute later, Rudra opens the door and says. "Come in."

The man walks in.

"Psst... Bhabhi..." Rudra whispers.

"I have told you not to call me that in office." Gauri whispers to him as she glared at him.

"Come inside." Rudra tells her.

Gauri follows them inside.

"This is Dandi." Rudra informs Gauri. "He'll be replacing you."

Gauri immediately looks at Omkara and he gently smiles at her. she felt a sense of loss at the thought of not working closely with Omkara, and she knew even he felt it.

"He is ready to join tomorrow. Gauri, if you can hand over everything and then maybe work with him for a day or two and after that you can officially start off with the marketing department." Rudra tells her.

"Okay." Gauri replies and she looks at Omkara.

"All the best." Omkara tells her smiling at her.

"Thank you."

"Why don't you make the announcement?" Rudra asks Omkara.

"Hey everyone..." Omkara calls out.

Everyone curiously stands up and gathers around.

"This is Dandi. He has joined us and he'll be assisting me from now on." Omkara informs them.

"New assistant?" Ridhima asks a little pissed while others said hi to Dandi and welcomed him.

"Yes." Omkara replies.

"So, Gauri is joining marketing?" Ajay asks.

"Yes." Omkara replies.

Gauri looks at Ajay and tries to smile politely as she had to work with him from now on.

"But we don't need a new member in the team." Ajay argues.

Omkara looks at Ajay and informs him. "She is not joining the team, Ajay. She is going to be heading the team. Gauri is the Director of Marketing."

"WHAT?" Gauri turns to Omkara in shock.

"Congratulations, Gauri." Omkara tells her with a smile and walks off.

Gauri watches him walk off in shock. She turns to look at Rudra and he grins at her and walk off. she looks at her co-workers and sees them all staring at her.

Gauri turns around and runs to Omkara's room.

"How can you do that?" Gauri asks him in shock.

"Why can't I do that? it's my company." Omkara replies cheekily.

Realizing she says in shock. "This is what Rudra and you were talking about that day. you wanted to create Marketing Director post for me."

"You were listening?" Omkara asks her shocked. "You little sneaky, you." Omkara teases her. "You always snoop on me?"

"That day you two were arguing and I couldn't help it." Gauri hesitantly says.

"It's okay. You can snoop on me." Omkara cheekily tells her.

"Stop distracting me. This is not right, Omkara. you can't just make me the Marketing director."

"Why can't I?" Omkara asks her.

"You can't favor me like that." Gauri tells him angrily.

"I'm not favoring you, Gauri." Omkara tells her.

"Then? I've next to no experience and you just made me a director?"

"I'm asking you to share the responsibility of this business with me." Omkara tells her. "My responsibilities and pressure is increasing and I want you to help me take this company forward."

"What?" Gauri stops in confusion.

"I'm asking you to make your dream and my dream into our dream."

Gauri starts melting hearing that. "Stop it! you're saying all these emotionally manipulating things to brain wash me."

"Is it working?" Omkara asks her sheepishly.

"YES!" Gauri says pissed.

Omkara cheekily grins and pulls her towards him. "Don't fight me on this, Gauri. even when you didn't accept me, I wanted this for you."

"Why?"

"Gauri, this is my business and when a family member joins office they don't start from low."

"But no one knows about us." Gauri reminds him.

"But I know, Gauri. my heart knows."

"Stop with the cheesy dialogues." Gauri tells him helplessly.

"Is it still working?" Omkara asks her cheekily.

"Yes!" Gauri tells him giving up.

"Do it for me, Gauri." Omkara requests her.

"Okay." Gauri gives in.

"Thank you." Omkara says excitedly as he hugged her.

Gauri smiles seeing his excitement.

"You need to see Rudra to discuss your new contract." Omkara tells her.

"Why? The family members also get those?" Gauri asks him as she took his lips in hers.

"Richa is going to wonder why a new contract wasn't drawn up for you." Omkara tells her. "Rudra said so."

"Hmmm." Gauri kisses him. "All that later, now..." Gauri leans in and looks at his laptop screen. "You have 18 mins before your next call. Can you make it good?" Gauri asks him with a sexy smile.

"Can I? I'm becoming an expert lately." Omkara smugly says.

"Really? I didn't realize it." Gauri teases him.

"Let me show you then."

Gauri sees the marketing team huddling together. She decides to talk to them as she didn't want any ill feelings the team members might have towards her.

"Hi..." Gauri tells them smiling.

"Look who is here. Our boss." Ajay says venomously.

"Ajay, I'm not your boss... we all can work together as a team." Gauri tells him.

"But you didn't want to work "as a team", that is why you became a director, right?" Ajay asks her.

"It was Omkara's decision." Gauri tells him.

"Omkara? sir gone?" Ridhima mocks her.

"Obviously." Ajay says as he glared at Gauri.

"Guys, stop it. if Omkara took a decision then he might have thought it through." Ishana, one of the team member says.

"Yeah, we've known him for some time now. he is not a fool to throw away his company like that. and we've worked with Gauri, we all know she works hard and is good. So, if Omkara made her the Director then it might be the right decision." Tanya, the other member says.

Gauri smiles at them gratefully.

"Oh I am sure, she worked hard. I can't work hard like that. you see, I am not a slut." Ridhima says in disgust.

"How dare you, Ridhima?" Gauri furiously asks her.

"Don't act so offended. You were sleeping with Omkara. we know about the honeymoon suite and condoms." Ajay tells her in disgust. "We know exactly how you landed this promotion and what is your real area of expertise."

Gauri gulps in shock hearing that, her eyes filling up.

"he has been saying that, Gauri. we know that is not true." Tanya gently tells her.

"Richa told us. she got the hotel bills." Ridhima tells her.

"And just yesterday, I saw her leave with Omkara. If you think that is not what caused this promotion, then you are too innocent." Ajay tells them.

"Just shut up, Ajay." Ishana tells her.

Gauri turns around and runs to Omkara's room.

Omkara looks up and sees Gauri standing at the door crying.

"Gauri?" Omkara stands up in shock. Then realizing that he was on a call, he says. "I'm sorry, I've to go. Can we continue this another time?"

Then quickly hanging up, he hurries to Gauri.

"Gauri, what happened?" Omkara asks her as he held her.

Gauri hugs him and bursts into tears. "Richa told everyone. they are saying that I was sleeping with you for promotion."

"What?" Omkara asks furiously.

"What if one of them tell Ma? I don't want her to find out like this, Om." Gauri tells him worriedly as she cried and told him what happened.

"She won't find out like this." Omkara tells her furiously, his heart burning with anger at her slander.

"We'll tell Ma today itself, Omkara." Gauri tells him worriedly.

"You calm down. We'll sort it out." Omkara tells her as he tried to calm her down.

After some time Gauri comes down.

"Come with me." Omkara tells her as he held her hand and walked out of the room.

"RUDRA!" Omkara calls out furiously.

"What are you doing?" Gauri asks him shocked seeing everyone looking at them.

Everyone was staring at Omkara for seeing him furious for the first time.

"What happened?" Rudra asks as he stepped out of his room.

Omkara turns to look at his staff and says furiously. "GAURI IS THE MARKETING DIRECTOR BECAUSE SHE IS DESERVING OF THAT POST AND I KNOW SHE IS CAPABLE AND CAN TAKE OUR COMPANY TO HEIGHTS."

"Did they say anything to her?" Rudra asks Omkara angrily.

Omkara turns to Rudra and tells him. "Richa, Ajay and Ridhima, I want them out of here this instant."

"What are you saying?" Gauri asks him shocked.

"Three of you, in my room, now." Rudra tells them angrily.

"THIS IS MY COMPANY AND I TAKE DECISIONS HERE. I DON'T HAVE TO EXPLAIN MYSELF TO ANYONE AND I AM NOT GOING TO. BUT KNOW THIS, IF YOU HURT MY WIFE THEN I WILL NOT LOOK THE OTHER WAY. IF ANYONE HURTS GAURI, THEN YOU'LL HAVE TO FACE HER HUSBAND." Omkara warns them all.

Then holding Gauri's hand, he walks to his room.

"Why did you tell them that?" Gauri asks him shocked.

"I'll not have anyone think you a slut." Omkara tells her.

"Why? Is it just because I'm your wife?" Gauri asks him softly.

"It is because you mean the world to me, Gauri. I love you and if anyone hurts you..."

"I love you, Omkara." Gauri cuts him off as she hugged him.

"Are you sure?" Omkara asks her nervously, his heart slamming against his chest in joy.

"I wanted you to be sure. I always thought the world of you, Omkara. I don't know whether I accepted you as my husband because I love you or I love you because you are my husband. But I do." Gauri tells him, her eyes filling with tears.

"I love you, Gauri. I don't know whether I love you because you're my only family, or you're my family because I only love you." Omkara tells her with tears in his eyes.

"It doesn't matter. I just wanted us to be sure." Gauri tells him.

"I'm." Omkara promises her.

"Then come, let's go tell my Ma." Gauri tells him excitedly.

"Will she accept me?" Omkara asks her worriedly. "I've no family. I'm an orphan."

"She'll have to accept you because I'm your family." Gauri tells him confidently as she cupped his face.

5 years later

Omkara crawls into bed and hugs Gauri around her swollen belly.

"Om?" Gauri sleepily calls him as she woke up. "You are back?"

"Yes." Omkara replies as he kissed her cheek.

"I was waiting for you to come. I didn't hear your bell."

"I called Ma on her phone and she opened the door for me."

"Why didn't you call me?" Gauri asks frowning.

"Because you guys need sleep."

"Had dinner?"

"Yeah, she gave me dinner."

"You might be tired." Gauri tells him lovingly. "I told you to take someone to assist you."

Omkara was a very successful business man now and their company had expanded considerably. Though there has been more structural changes and stronger HR policies implemented in the company, Omkara's personal relation with each staff member remained the same. And Omkara remained the same.

"I didn't want any feudal lord to threaten me and force me to marry my assistant. I will refuse and he will kill me, then you will hunt my dead body and kill me for dying on you." Omkara says.

Gauri chuckles hearing that. "Stop being silly."

"Anyway, Dandi is back after his vacation and now till your delivery I am not going anywhere. So, it is not a problem."

Gauri smiles hearing that.

"By the way, Ma was saying that you are so close to delivery that you should start your maternity leave."

"She did?"

"I think she got fed up from telling you. I don't know why she told me though."

"Why do you say that?"

"Maybe because my designation is higher than yours, she thinks that I hold some kind of power over you at office."

Gauri scowls hearing that.

"You'll do what you want to do."

"You make me sound so bad as if I don't listen to you." Gauri complains.

"Only when I use emotionally manipulative brain washing techniques." Omkara replies.

"Wait till they get out of me then I'll show you!" Gauri says unable to turn as easily as she could have when she was not heavily pregnant.

"I think it will be a boy and a girl." Omkara tells her excitedly as he caressed her stomach.

"Whatever they are... I'll be your number one family." Gauri possessively says.

"Don't be so selfish, Gauri. you need to share me with my family." Omkara cheekily tells her to irritate her.

"I'm already fed up with your bonding with Ma. You two act as if, there is no other mother and son in the world."

Omkara smiles hearing that. Ma and he had hit it off at the get go and poor Gauri had been kept side lines ever since. "I love you, Gauri." Omkara tells her as he kissed her cheek.

"I know that. you start acting it and showing everyone around us that." Gauri orders him.

"Okay Madam." Omkara agrees with a smile.

"Hmmm... now, let me sleep." Gauri tells him and closes her eyes and promptly goes to sleep.

I know the epilogue wasn't good... I didn't get any other idea.
