Andekhi Anjaani : Epilogue (Posted on 01- May - 2022)

This is a supernatural story. Omkara is a werewolf in this. I am using some creative liberties and letting my werewolves have the power of compulsion/mind control and some other things as well.

The title of the story is inspired from Teen Wolf.

Please Note: Since I wanted to go with a cool/hot Dad, I'm going with the hottest Dad from ITV history, Ronit Roy

And a warning, the supernatural elements of this story is not romanticized as my previous supernatural stories. Some might find it dark.

Gauri keeps out her dress for the next day and double checks if she has everything ready. Satisfied she sighs.

"Are you excited for your first day of work?" Richa asks her.

Gauri turns to her and nods in confusion.

"You are still not happy?" Richa asks her exasperated.

Gauri sighs sadly as she looked away.

"You've been desperate to get a job and now you got it, you're still not happy?" Richa asks her shocked.

Sadly, Gauri walks to the window and says, "I just don't know."

"Gauri, I think you should consult a doctor." Richa tells her in concern.

Gauri looks into the darkness of the night.

"For no apparent reason you are sad. You are depressed. You should see a doctor. They will be able to help you." Richa tells her gently.

"I feel I don't belong here. I feel this is not my place." Gauri tells her melancholically.

"Gauri, you're an orphan and have lived all your life in an orphanage. So, you will have this longing to belong. It is true but you need to get help. It has come to a point where nothing is making you happy." Richa tells her worriedly. "I'm really worried for you."

"Doctor is not what I need." Gauri stubbornly says.

"Then what?" Richa asks her fed up.

As if in answer they hear a wolf howl in distance.

Instantly Gauri feels a sense of relief and longing fill her.

"This place is getting infected with wolves." Richa says in worry. "Every night I'm hearing them."

"It is one wolf." Gauri tells her.

"How do you know?" Richa asks her baffled.

"It sounds the same."

"They all sound the same." Richa tells her incredulously. "Anyway, I'm going to bed. Good night." Richa tells her and leaves the room.

Gauri looks out the window and hears the wolf howl again. it was the strangest thing, the howl made her feel as if she belonged and a sense of longing at the same time. sighing, she walks to the bed to sleep.

After finishing off formalities with the HR, Gauri was waiting to meet her boss.

"Come, Gauri. Boss is here." The HR tells her as he led her to the Boss' room.

Gauri nervously and worriedly follows her, as it was the first time she was meeting her boss and her very first job.

"May we come in?" the HR asks as he opened the door a little.

"Yes, come in." Gauri hears a manly reply.

"Come, Gauri." HR tells her as he opened the door for Gauri.

Gauri walks in and her breath gets caught seeing the handsome man standing by the window. His gaze piercing into hers.

"This is your personal assistant - Gauri."

Omkara nods then he turns his gaze to the HR, "Ajay, right?"

"Yes, Boss." Ajay replies.

"Did you fill Gauri in about all her duties?"

"Yes, Boss."

Omkara nods. "You can leave."

Ajay nods and leaves the room. Omkara turns his gaze back to Gauri and sees Gauri staring at him.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" Omkara asks her softly.

Gauri immediately averts her gaze. "Sorry." Gauri whispers as her heart slammed against her chest. She had no idea why she was feeling all these emotional reactions in seeing him.

"You can go. I'll call you if I need anything." Omkara tells her in a dismissing tone.

"Yes, Boss." Gauri replies.

"You don't..." Omkara starts and stops himself.

"Yes?" Gauri asks him.

"Nothing... you can go."

Gauri nods and leaves the room.

Gauri was taking her lunch break as she met the other staff.

"Gauri, right?"

Hearing the question, Gauri turns to the voice and sees a girl. Gauri nods. "Yes."

"I'm Ishana. I'm in accounts."

"Hi, Ishana." Gauri replies with a smile.

"Ajay told me you had joined." Ishana tells her as she sat next to her.

They were talking as they had their lunch when another girl comes to them.

"Did you see the kid?"

"Who?" Ishana asks confused. "Gauri, this is Ridhima. She is also in accounts. Ridhima, she is Gauri, Boss' PA."

"Oh you're the new PA?" Ridhima asks her with a smile.

"Yes. Nice to meet you." Gauri tells her with a smile.

"Same." Ridhima tells her as she sat down with a smile.

Gauri smiles. After a long time, she was starting to feel happy. Maybe, this job was the change that she had needed.

"What kid were you talking about?" Ishana asks her curiously.

"Oh yeah... a kid... actually baby girl... she is here with Boss' Dad. Ajay was saying that she is Boss' daughter. about 5 years. I didn't even know he was married." Ridhima informs her.

"No way." Ishana says in shock. "He is just 25... if that is his daughter then he would have got his wife pregnant at the age of 20. 21 is legal age for marriage for men."

"19." Gauri corrects her.

"What?" Ishana asks her confused.

"9 months gestation period. So, he would have been 19." Gauri explains as she stood up finishing her food.

"That's right." Ridhima agrees. "Maybe she is his niece." Ridhima guesses with a shrug.

Gauri had just about reached her desk when her phone starts ringing and she quickly answers it.

"Yes, Boss?"

"Gauri, come to my cabin." Omkara tells her on the phone.

"Yes, Boss." Gauri replies and hanging up the phone, she quickly hurries to his room.

"May I come in, Boss?"

"Yes."

Gauri walks in and sees an elderly man and a small girl with Omkara.

"That is Papa. Veer Singh Oberoi." Omkara tells Gauri.

Gauri turns her attention to the elderly man and smiles at him. "Hello, Sir."

"How are you, beta?" Veer asks her with a loving smile.

Gauri smiles at him in reply.

"And this is Ashina." Omkara tells her in a soft voice.

Gauri turns to the girl and smiles at her.

"Hello, Ashina." Gauri tells her with a smile.

"Hello." Ashina replies happily smiling.

"Gauri..."

Gauri turns to Omkara.

"If you're done with your lunch, can you take Ashina to get ice cream?" Omkara asks her.

Gauri turns to the small girl and sees her expectantly looking at Gauri. Gauri smiles. "Sure, Boss."

Ashina smiles even more and she runs to Gauri and hugs her tightly. Gauri stops in shock. Her heart skipped a beat and she didn't know why.

"Ashina!" Veer calls her name in shock. Then turning to Gauri, he tells her gently. "Sorry, she is missing her mother."

"That's okay, sir." Gauri tells him with a smile as she lovingly caressed her hair. "Let's go?"

"Yes!" Ashina replies excitedly as she raised her arms up for Gauri to lift her up.

"You are a big girl, Ashina... walk." Veer tells her.

Ashina turns to look at Omkara and gives him her most irresistible puppy face.

Omkara shakes his head with a tender smile and turns to Gauri. "If you don't mind..."

"Sure." Gauri smiles at Ashina and picks her up.

Ashina quickly wraps her hand around Gauri's shoulder and waves at Omkara and Veer bye.

"Ashina is a beautiful name. do you know what it means?" Gauri asks her conversationally as she started heading out.

"She wolf!" Ashina declares excitedly.

"Wow... that's what it means?" Gauri asks her surprised.

"Yes."

"And are you a wolf?" Gauri asks her teasingly.

In reply, Ashina tries to howl making Gauri chuckle and Omkara roll his eyes.

Once Gauri and Ashina left the room, Veer turns to Omkara and asks him. "Why are you doing this, Om?"

"Gauri was not happy. She was looking for a job for last couple of months. She was starting to look depressed." Omkara replies.

"Why does she need a job?" Veer asks him confused.

Omkara shrugs in reply.

"Which flavor do you want?" Gauri lovingly asks Ashina as she shows her the ice cream options.

"Strawberry." Ashina tells her smiling excitedly, her eyes twinkling.

"Even I like strawberry." Gauri tells her excitedly.

Ashina smiles and lean towards her and kisses her cheek. Gauri smiles feeling the kiss. Her loneliness and depression disappearing as if it never existed. Gauri's eyes fill up and she lovingly kisses Ashina's cheek.

Omkara who was watching it with tear filled eyes, sighs sadly.

"I don't know what you are trying to do, Om." Veer tells him softly.

Omkara sadly watches Gauri and tells his father. "It's been months since I saw her smile like that."

"This is wrong, Om."

"Let Ashina and Gauri be with each other for some time now." Omkara tells his father in finality and walks off.

More than two decades ago, Veer had come to Bareilly with his son after the death of his wife and younger son in an accident. Seeing Omkara getting withdrawn and becoming a recluse due to grief, the only solution that had come to him was to get him a friend. Ever since he could remember his family had led a recluse life due to them being werewolves. And since Omkara was a small boy of 4 years, he couldn't take the risk of Omkara interacting with the outside world and exposing their secrets. So, he went with the only option he could think of.

"There are a lot of formalities to adopt a child. You can't just take home a baby today. lot of verifications and paper works are required." The orphanage matron informs him.

"I told you about my son's condition. We'll take care of all the formalities but let me take him home for now."

"it is not possible. There will be major problems if an inspection comes."

"how much do you need to bypass all that?" Veer asks her.

She stops in greed hearing that as her mind starts quickly thinking of an easy solution. "There is an option."

"What is it?" Veer asks her.

"We got a 3 years old baby today. We haven't started the paperwork yet. So there is no record of the baby here actually."

"Excellent." Veer says happily.

"But it is not a boy. It is a girl."

"Girl?" Veer stops in shock.

"Yes, someone left her at the entrance. If you're ready to take her then you can."

Veer thinks for a bit and finally agrees.

An hour later, Veer walks to his son's room and sees him lying on his bed sadly.

"Om..." Veer lovingly calls him as he walked to Om holding Gauri's hand.

Omkara turns to look at his father and stops seeing the girl with him.

"This is Gauri and Gauri, this is Om." Veer tells them.

Omkara curiously looks at the girl and then looks at his father in confusion.

"Gauri is going to be with us from now on. She is also my daughter." Veer tells him. "From now on, you both are going to be friends and take care of each other."

Gauri turns to Omkara and Omkara also looks at her. seeing him look at her, Gauri smiles at Omkara and seeing that, Omkara smiles at her.

"You seem so happy." Richa says, smiling happily.

"I'm happy." Gauri tells her, smiling.

"Is it the work?" Richa asks her.

"I think so." Gauri replies.

Richa chuckles. "If I had the money that you have then I would never work."

Gauri laughs it off dismissively.

"Aren't you even a little bit curious to find out who is giving you so much money every month?" Richa asks her curiously.

Gauri shakes her head in a no. "Whoever it is, was my sponsor when I was in my orphanage. All throughout my life that person has taken care of me and in return all they wanted was to be anonymous. I am not going to take that away from them."

Richa hesitantly tells her. "You know... it could be one of your parents."

"maybe... maybe not." Gauri says with a shrug. "It doesn't matter."

"You're so strange, Gauri." Richa tells her, shaking her head.

Gauri chuckles.

"Anyway I'm lucky that I got such a nice place to stay for such low rent." Richa tells her cheekily.

Gauri chuckles. Richa had replied to the ad she had placed for a paying guest and they had hit it off since the moment they had met.

"Good night." Richa wishes her as she leaves the room.

"Good night." Gauri wishes her back as she walks to the window.

She was happy today. her thoughts went to Ashina. Gauri couldn't control her smile remembering how Ashina had got close to her in seconds. They had spent a long time having ice cream and talking. It didn't feel like she was meeting Ashina for the first time, it felt like they had known each other forever.

Gauri sighs as she smiled, her thoughts then drifting to her new boss. There was something about him that made her nervous and some strange feelings in her. the way he had looked at her and the way she couldn't take her eyes off him, this strange connection she had to this stranger and his family was unexplainable. And she didn't ponder on things that she didn't understand. So, Gauri brushes it off.

She hears a wolf howl in the distance. Gauri couldn't help the smile and whispered softly, "Good night, wolfie."

Then chuckling she walks to her bed as she whispers. "She wolf."

"last full moon before I turn 20." Omkara tells Gauri as he checks the calendar.

Veer curiously looks up from his newspaper and sees Gauri and Omkara. Gauri lying on the floor reading a book and Omkara busy engrossed in the calendar.

"How do you feel about it?" Gauri asks Omkara as she turned to look at him.

"After that I would know whether I am a werewolf or not." Omkara tells her as he looks at her with nervous excitement.

"Do you want to be one?" Gauri asks him, the first full moon after he turns 20, if he was one, he would turn for the first time, and all his life Omkara had been curious whether he was one or not, as there was no other way for them to know whether he had inherited his father's werewolf genes.

"It would be nice to be fast and strong like Papa. He can hear anything and smell from miles away." Omkara says reverently. "And I'll be able to compel people." Omkara excitedly says.

Veer shakes his head in exasperation.

Gauri smiles seeing his excitement. Then asks him worriedly, "Will you be disappointed if you are not?"

Omkara looks at her and says with a shrug. "there are chances that I am human. Bua is human."

"I'm human." Gauri reminds him.

"Do you want to be a werewolf?" Omkara asks her curiously.

Gauri thinks for a second. "If you're human then no."

"And if I am a werewolf?" Omkara asks her.

Gauri thinks for a bit. "I don't know." Then she says in a dismissing tone. "If I feel like being one, then you can bite me."

"Okay." Omkara agrees with a grin.

"What are you talking?" Veer asks in exasperated shock.

Gauri and Omkara cheekily grins at him.

Veer shakes his head with a loud sigh.

"with the way you two are talking I am scared to leave you both here and go."

Omkara and Gauri chuckle hearing that.

"You both better listen to Khanna and do everything he says." Veer tells them, Khanna was Veer's most trusted man and the caretaker and cook of the family.

"When will you come back, Papa?" Gauri asks him curiously.

"Soon. 4 days maximum."

"But Papa will you be able to manage the full moon?" Omkara asks him worriedly.

"I'll be fine, Om. don't worry." Veer tells him with a smile.

Since, they led a recluse life, their main source of incomes were ancestral properties, share market and financing businesses around the country. How much ever he tried to stay away from the public, there were times when he has to make these business trips.

"And I want to finish off this before you turn 20. If you turn, then I want to be here with you then." Veer tells him lovingly smiling.

Omkara smiles at him hearing that.

Gauri was briefing Omkara about his work for the day.

"What is his name from legal?" Omkara asks as he brainstormed.

"Dandi." Gauri replies.

"Yeah, have him attend the meeting on my behalf." Omkara tells her.

"Okay, Boss." Gauri replies as she made a note.

"Regarding the meeting about the budget, have that finance guy... what is his name?" Omkara asks confused.

"Atish. Boss, don't you know anyone's name?" Gauri asks in shocked surprise.

Omkara turns slightly pink hearing that. "I'm not good with names." Omkara tells her, he wasn't used to knowing so many people, he was just getting the hang of it.

"I'm surprised you know my name." Gauri tells him smiling.

"How can I ever forget your name?" Omkara asks her without thinking.

"What?" Gauri asks surprised. "what do you mean?" she asks him confused.

Omkara quickly looks away hearing that question, wanting to kick himself. Then he says a little nervously. "you have a very common name."

"Yeah, that is true." Gauri replies smiling. She liked talking to him. it didn't feel like she was talking to her Boss. There was some comfort level with him, that she couldn't understand. And she didn't ponder on things that she didn't understand.

Omkara smiles seeing her smile.

"That's it, Boss." Gauri tells him.

"Okay, you can go." Omkara tells her smiling.

Gauri turns to go then she stops and asks him curiously. "Will Ashina be coming today?"

"She has school." Omkara replies.

"Oh okay." Gauri replies then she stops and asks curiously. "Boss... your wife..."

Omkara's heart skips a beat and he informs her softly. "I'm not married."

"Oh." Gauri awkwardly looks at him. "Sorry, Boss... I thought, Ashina is your daughter... I'm sorry." Gauri says feeling embarrassed.

Omkara frowns in anger and outrage as he stood up. His loyalty to both Gauri and Ashina getting offended at the insult to Gauri. "Ashina is my daughter. don't you dare ever think otherwise."

Seeing his anger, Gauri quickly nods in yes. "I'm sorry, boss." Gauri says and quickly leaves the room.

Omkara tries to calm himself as he looked at his hands. His claws had come out and he had pierced his palms with them. he sighs in desperation and depression. When was he ever going to learn control?

"My head is splitting, Gauri." Omkara moans in pain as he cried gripping his head.

Gauri hugs him as tears spilled from her eyes. "What is happening to him?" Gauri asks Khanna worriedly.

Khanna helplessly looks at her and then Omkara.

"Pain killers are not working." Gauri tells Khanna as she cried.

"It's a full moon. Maybe..." Khanna stops nervously.

"But he is going to be 20 only next month." Gauri reminds him as she pressed his head gently to ease the pain.

"I tried calling Veer sir, but he isn't answering his phone. He might be preparing for the full moon." Khanna tells her as he walked to the window and looked at the sky. His heart skips a beat seeing the moon come out.

Omkara screams loudly as he arched on the bed.

"Om?" Gauri calls him in fear as she held him.

"Get away from him, Gauri." Khanna tells her scared seeing that.

Omkara screams in pain as he lifted his hand.

"Om..." Gauri whispers in shock seeing claws.

They hear a loud cracking sound and Omkara screams in pain. He quickly grabs Gauri's hand, clawing her. Gauri screams in pain.

"Gauri!" Khanna runs to her and grabs her hand in fear.

Gauri holds Omkara's hand hearing him scream as fangs came out. Then they hear another loud crack, his bones cracking and reforming to that of a wolf's.

"I won't leave him." Gauri struggles to free herself.

Omkara growls at her.

Khanna grabs her and hurries out of the room.

"He needs me." Gauri screams as she struggled against Khanna.

"He will kill both of us." Khanna tells her as he pulled the door close and locked it.

"He won't hurt me." Gauri vehemently argues.

Khanna grabs her hand and shows her hand where he had clawed her.

"He was in pain." Gauri tells him as she held her hand that was killing her.

"He is a werewolf and he has no control over himself now." Khanna tells her.

Gauri helplessly cries as she looked at the closed door hearing Omkara screaming in pain.

They listened to a long time as Omkara screamed in pain. Then it went silent for a second and they hear him howl.

Gauri stops hearing that. her heart slamming against her chest realizing that Om had finished his transformation.

Then they hear Omkara howling and then banging against the door.

Gauri starts to walk to the door, when Khanna pulls her back in fear. "He can smell your blood."

"What?" Gauri asks him confused.

"it is the blood. He can smell it. Come with me." Khanna tells her as he grabbed her hand and hurried of to get first aid.

After dressing her wound, they come back to hear Omkara howling and banging on the door trying to get out. Gauri sits outside the door and Khanna sits with her.

"We shouldn't be sitting here." Khanna worriedly tells her.

"He won't hurt us." Gauri tells him.

Khanna shakes his head. "Till he learns to control himself, he can hurt us." then turning to look at her, he tells her, "And he can hurt you also."

Gauri looks away and asks him hurt. "Will it hurt him always?"

"With time, it will stop hurting him. that is what Veer Sir told me."

"You sure?" Gauri asks him worriedly.

"Have you ever heard Veer Sir cry in pain? Only when we hear the howl from the forest, we remember that it is full moon, right?

Gauri nods.

"He is going to take some time to learn to control and adjust to it. that is why Veer sir got the basement ready for him for his transformation."

"He won't go with Papa to the forest?" Gauri asks him confused.

"Till he has control over his aggression and blood lust, it is not safe for him or anyone around him to let him out in the open." Khanna tells her.

Gauri sighs and informs Khanna. "He doesn't know that."

"He has no choice, Gauri."

After a long time, everything quiets down and it was just silence around them.

"It's over." Khanna tells her as he stood up. "You go sleep, Gauri."

"What if he needs me?" Gauri asks him as she started to unlock the door.

"Let him sleep now. see him in the morning." Khanna tells her. "Let him rest."

Gauri nods, giving in. Khanna walks off and Gauri watches Omkara's room for a few seconds. She was about to walk off, when she hears a faint "Gauri..."

Gauri quickly unlocks the door and opens it. she stops in shock seeing Omkara lying on the floor naked.

"Gauri..." Omkara whispers softly.

She hurries to him and sees him sweating profusely and tired. "Om..." she gently calls him as she tried to help him up.

Omkara holds her as he struggled to get up. "I feel drained."

Gauri helps him as she held him and stops in shock seeing that he had developed muscles. He had got more filled out and fit. Omkara hugs her, bringing her back to her senses. Gauri helps him to the bed.

Gauri puts the blanket over him to cover him up.

"Don't leave me." Omkara tells her as he held her hand.

Gauri gets on the bed with him and hugs him. Omkara rolls over and hugs her. Omkara promptly passed out while Gauri spent the night awake, very much aware of his nakedness next to her and her body's desire for him.

Early morning, Gauri had gone to her room to take her shower. After that she had come to check on him and finds his bed empty. She was about to leave when the bathroom door opens and Omkara steps out smiling excitedly, dripping wet with a towel around his waist.

Gauri gulps seeing him like that. her heart beats raising.

"I heard someone walking by." Omkara excitedly tells her. "Then heard someone come into the room. I could smell you, and I just knew it was you."

Gauri walks to him and gently caresses his chest. Omkara stops in shock feeling her touch. He stops breathing in shock realizing how his body was reacting to her touch.

"Gauri?" Omkara nervously whispers.

Gauri leans towards him and kisses his chest, and gently sucks in the water droplet.

Omkara keeps his hand on her waist and holds her gently, his heart raising against his chest.

Gauri nervously looks up at his face and Omkara who was watching her, leans down. Gauri leans up and their lips meet.

Growling hungrily, they start kissing each other passionately. They run their hands over each other, desperately wanting to feel each other. Feeling his hardness against her, Gauri unknots his towel and Omkara quickly starts removing her clothes, wanting to feel her skin against his.

Blissful and happy, they snuggle in bed as they tried to catch their breath.

"I thought we would be doing all this only after marriage." Omkara tells Gauri.

Gauri looks at him and tells him hotly. "Marriage can wait, I couldn't."

Omkara grins hearing her and he takes her earlobes in mouth and sucks on it. "Then why did you make me wait for so long?"

Gauri moans in pleasure. "You never came naked in front of me before."

Omkara chuckles. Gauri hugs him tight.

"I did this?" Omkara softly asks her as he ran his finger over her bandage.

"You were in pain and was trying to hold my hand." Gauri tells him.

Omkara takes her hand and kisses her wound.

Gauri smiles and asks him, "Are you happy about being a werewolf."

"Not as happy as I am about this."

Gauri blushes as she smiled happily.

"Khanna is coming." Omkara quickly tells her.

Gauri gasps in worry as she started to get up.

"No, wait." Omkara tells her as he jumped out of the bed and dressed up in seconds. He turns to Gauri and sees her looking at him in shock. Omkara gloats as he ran to the door and stepped out to intercept with Khanna.

Few minutes later, he comes back in.

"Spoke to Dad. I told him that I'm fine and there is no need for him to come back early."

"True." Gauri agrees. "Did Khanna ask about me?"

"Told him you are sleeping. He has some work." Omkara tells her as he locked the bedroom door. "You ready for round 2?"

Two days later, Veer came back. he was listening to Omkara, Gauri and Khanna fill in on their experience when he notices Gauri's hand.

"How did this happen?" Veer asks her in concern, his heart skipping a beat in worry.

Gauri shrugs in reply.

"Gauri?" Veer calls her to get an answer.

"I did." Omkara confesses.

Veer gasps in shock as he stood up, completely pale.

"It is healing, Papa." Gauri tells him.

"Oh my God." Veer whispers worriedly.

"What happened, Papa?" Omkara asks him confused.

Veer shakes his head worriedly. "Gauri is not safe." Veer whispers worriedly.

"What do you mean Gauri is not safe?" Omkara asks frowning in concern as he stood up.

"Gauri and Khanna, both of them are not safe." Veer whispers.

"From me?" Omkara asks angrily. "You think I would hurt them? that I would hurt Gauri?" Omkara asks furiously.

"Till you learn control they are not safe, Om." Veer gently explains to him.

"No." Omkara angrily says.

"Om would never hurt us, Papa." Gauri quickly tells him.

Seeing Omkara getting angrier and his breathing escalating rapidly, Veer looks at his hands and sees that his claws were out already. "Gauri... Khanna... step back."

Khanna quickly leaves the room.

"Gauri!" Omkara calls her furiously, his fangs coming out as he extended his hand for her.

Gauri was about to take it and go to him, when Veer quickly pulls her back and shields her behind him. seeing that Omkara growls at him angrily.

"Look at you, Om. not just full moon, till you learn to control yourself, every time you get angry, you are going to turn." Veer tells him in a calming tone.

"Don't say that I would hurt Gauri, then I won't get angry." Omkara furiously tells him.

Seeing that he was starting to turn, Gauri frees her hand from Veer's and runs to Omkara and hugs him. "Don't scream at Papa, Om. I know you won't hurt me."

Omkara quickly hugs her as he tried to calm himself.

Veer stops in shock seeing the scene in front of him, realizing that they were not just best friends, that they were in love.

Next day, Veer had tried again.

"I've told Khanna to go home for a few days." Veer informs him.

"Because you think I'll hurt him?" Omkara asks him angrily.

"Only on full moon he has to..." Gauri starts to tell Veer.

"You saw how he started turning when he got angry." Veer reminds her.

Gauri remains silent hearing the question.

"I will not hurt anyone." Omkara argues.

"You don't want to hurt anyone, Om. but when you turn till your mind learns to control your wolf nature, you can hurt others." Veer gently reasons with him. "It is not your fault. It is our curse and we have to accept it and learn to control it."

"I'll learn." Omkara promises.

"I know you'll." Veer tells him lovingly smiling at him.

Omkara smiles gently hearing that.

"But till you learn, it is safer for Gauri to stay away for some time."

"NO!" Omkara furiously screams.

"I won't go anywhere." Gauri stubbornly says.

"Gauri... I spoke to Roop, you go and stay with her for a few months." Veer tells her.

"Months?" Omkara growls in anger.

"Gauri... see, he has no control." Veer helplessly tells her seeing Omkara's anger.

"Because you are trying to send me away. I won't go to Bua's." Gauri stubbornly says angrily.

"Gauri will not go anywhere." Omkara says angrily.

"If you love her, then do this for her safety, Om." Veer earnestly begs him.

Hearing that Omkara stops and with tear filled eyes he steps back.

"I won't go!" Gauri angrily says. "Even if you send me to Bua's house, I'll come back."

Fed up and with no other choice, Veer holds her nape and pulls her forward, his eyes piercing hers. "You are going to go to Roop's house. You are going to go to your room and pack your things. then I am going to drop you to Roop's house. you will stay there and be happy with them. You will forget Om, me and this house. you are going to believe that Roop is your aunt and you've been living with her since your parents' death. Anything that you don't understand or make sense to you, you will not ponder on it." Veer finishes and sighing regretfully, he lets go off Gauri and steps back.

Gauri closes her eyes and after a breath she opens them. "I've to go to Bua's house."

"Gauri?" Omkara softly calls her.

"Yeah?" Gauri turns to him curiously.

Seeing her looking at him as one stares at a strange, Omkara's heart breaks. "Don't you remember me?" Omkara asks her, his world crashing around him.

Gauri shakes her head in negative. "I've to pack my stuff." Gauri hurriedly says then turning around she runs to her room to pack.

"You compelled her?" Omkara asks Veer horrified.

"You both made me do this." Veer tells him, his eyes filling with angry tears.

"How could you? You made her forget me." Omkara tells him, his eyes filling with tears.

"You are not the only one who loves her, Om. she is my daughter and I'll do anything to keep her safe." Veer tells him.

"I am going to make her remember me." Omkara says angrily as he started to go after Gauri.

"Only the one who compelled can break the compulsion." Veer reminds him.

Hearing that, Omkara screams out loud in fury.

A month later, Veer sighs in pain hearing Omkara howling. Ever since Gauri had left, he had been wolfing out and losing control that he was forced to lock up Omkara in the basement for hours.

"I need Gauri, Papa." Omkara cries to him as Veer came to check on him.

"You are spiraling out of control, Om." Veer worriedly tells him. "How can Gauri be safe here?"

"Then we will turn her to a werewolf." Omkara tells him desperately.

Veer looks at him horrified. "Not everyone survives a werewolf bite. Sometime the bite can kill you, Om."

"I need Gauri, Papa." Omkara tells him as he broke down.

"Once you learn to control your shift, we'll bring her home. No one will separate you then."

"I need Gauri with me. without her, I won't be able to control myself."

Veer helplessly sighs as he wondered whether that was true? Was Gauri the anchor that kept Om connected to his human side?

Hearing his mobile ring, Veer takes it out and sees that it is Roop.

"Hello, Roop?" Veer answers the call.

Hearing that, Omkara eagerly looks at Veer as he listened to the conversation.

"Gauri has been throwing up for the last few days, so I took her to the doctor and the doctor said she is pregnant." Roop worriedly informs him from the other side.

Omkara was in his cabin as he listened to Gauri go about her day. he was happy that she was making friends and starting to look happy like her old self. He could hear her talking to everyone, then working on the laptop and sometimes answering the calls. He wanted to see her but he didn't want to make Gauri suspicious by showing undue attention to her.

He was listening to Gauri when he feels the familiar scent. He sits up in guilt and surprise. He starts to head to the door when he hears Ashina excitedly ask "Guess who?"

Omkara stops as he hesitated near the door.

"Ishana?" he hears Gauri asks excitedly.

"No." Ashina replies.

Omkara opens the door and steps out to see, Ashina covering Gauri's eyes and standing behind her chair.

"Ridhima?" Gauri asks smiling happily.

"No." Ashina replies, starting to sound disappointed.

Hearing the disappointment, Gauri asks, "Is it She wolf?"

"yes!" Ashina excitedly replies as she moved her hands from Gauri's eyes. "How did you know?"

Gauri turns to her and happily pulls her close to her. "I knew it was Ashina baby."

"But you didn't guess right." Ashina reminds her.

"That is because I wanted to play with you." Gauri tells her.

Ashina smiles hearing that. "Even I like playing with you."

Gauri smiles as she lovingly kissed her cheek.

Ashina kisses her back then noticing Omkara, she smiles at him.

"Dadu knows that you came here from school?" Omkara asks her.

Ashina shakes her head in no.

"Then how did Khanna drop you here? did you lie to him that I asked you to come here?" Omkara asks her.

"No."

"Then?"

"I told him to drop me here and I'll come home with you." Ashina explains.

"Hmmm." Hearing his mobile ring, he checks his phone and sees that it was his father.

"Dadu?" Ashina asks him.

"Yes."

"I want to stay here." Ashina tells him pouting sadly.

Omkara smiles and says, "Okay."

Ashina smiles happily hearing that. Omkara grins as he walked back to the cabin as he answered his father's call.

Ashina turns to Gauri and happily hugs her. Gauri picks her up and makes her sit on her lap.

"How was school?" Gauri asks her happily.

"Good."

"Who is your best friend?"

"Papa."

Gauri smiles hearing that. "And in school?" Gauri asks her.

Gauri and Ashina were talking about Ashina's school.

"Uffo, Mama! Pia Ma'am is my PT teacher. Mia Ma'am is English teacher. I like Pia Ma'am." Ashina tells her hitting her head. "You are just like Papa, always calling Pia Ma'am, Mia Ma'am."

Gauri stops in shock hearing her.

Seeing Gauri staring at her in shock, Ashina gasps covering her mouth realizing that she called Gauri, Mama. "Sorry." Ashina worriedly says.

"It's okay, baby." Gauri quickly tells her.

Ashina looks down worriedly.

Gauri cups her face and tells her, "It's okay, baby. it happens."

Ashina nods as she continued to look down. "I'm going to Papa." Ashina softly tells her and slides off Gauri's lap and runs off to Omkara's cabin.

Ashina opens the door and looks at Omkara. Omkara lovingly calls her to him with a head gesture. Ashina runs to him. Omkara lifts her up and makes her sit on his lap.

"Sorry. I accidentally called Mama, Mama." Ashina tells Omkara.

"She is your mama and you can call her Mama." Omkara gently tells her.

"But you'll have to make her forget that later." Ashina tells him sadly.

"I'm sorry, Ashu." Omkara tells her regretfully.

"It's okay, Papa. We are keeping Mama safe." Ashina hugs him as she rested her head on his chest.

Omkara kisses her on top of her head. "Don't be sad, Ashu."

"Is it really okay?" Ashina worriedly asks him.

"Didn't Mama say that it is okay?" Omkara asks her, smiling.

Ashina smiles in relief.

Omkara smiles at her lovingly. "Go and be with your Mama."

Ashina smiles happily and hugging him tight, she kisses his cheek. then she jumps off his lap and runs out of the room to Gauri.

Omkara runs out of his house hearing the approaching car. The car comes to a stop and Gauri runs out of the car.

"Om..." Gauri calls out to him as she ran to him.

Omkara quickly envelopes her in a hug.

"I didn't want to go away." Gauri tells him as she hugged him tight.

"I know."

"Why did you let Papa sent me away?" Gauri asks him angrily feeling hurt.

"He made you forget me." Omkara reminds her as tear spilled from his eyes.

"I don't know how I forgot you." Gauri tells him sadly as she looked at him.

Omkara wipes her tears and hugs her tight.

"Are you angry with Papa?" Gauri asks Omkara that night in bed.

"What he did was wrong. He shouldn't have done that. but whatever he did, he did thinking to keep you safe." Omkara replies. "Are you angry with him?"

"Yes." Gauri replies.

"Don't be." Omkara gently tells her. "You're back, right?"

"Hmmm. You sure that nobody can hear what we speak inside the room outside?" Gauri ask curiously.

"Yeah. That is how Papa made this place."

"Hmmm."

"But I'm sure Papa knows that you're here." Omkara tells her grinning.

"I don't care. I'm not leaving your side." Gauri tells him stubbornly.

Omkara chuckles then he keeps his hand on her stomach. Gauri smiles and keeps her hand over his.

"Do you want a boy or a girl?" Gauri asks him.

"Does it matter? It's our baby, right?" Omkara asks her smiling.

Gauri smiles hearing that.

"By the time we get married, our baby would be with us." Omkara tells her.

"Does it matter?" Gauri asks him back smiling.

Omkara smiles hearing that.

"I'm going to be fine." Omkara reassures Gauri.

Gauri nods in concern.

Omkara walks into the basement and Veer locks the door from outside.

"You should go in with him." Gauri tells Veer in worry.

"He said he wants to do this alone. He wants to learn control." Veer tells her. "And he is learning. After you came back, he hasn't lost control."

Gauri nods.

"You go to your room, Gauri." Veer tells her.

"I want to be here." Gauri tells him.

"You shouldn't be taking any stress at this time. it's for your baby, Gauri. go to your room." Veer gently tells her. "Om is going to be fine. You know that."

Gauri nods giving in.

Veer smiles and lovingly keeps his hand on her cheek. "I've to go."

Gauri nods and Veer starts to walk off.

"I forgive you, Papa." Gauri tells him.

Veer stops and turns to look at her then guiltily he says, "I was wrong, Gauri. you're his anchor. You keep him connected to his humanity."

Gauri gently smiles hearing that then she worriedly asks him. "Are you angry with us?"

Realizing she was asking about the pregnancy he says, "I trusted you both. but at the end of the day, marriage is a formality to show the world that you are together and nothing else."

Gauri nods feeling relieved.

"You both are going to be together always, so marriage, truly doesn't matter." Veer tells her.

"I love you, Papa." Gauri tells him smiling.

Veer smiles then feeling his body starting to turn, he tells her, "It's time. I've to go."

Gauri nods and worriedly looks at the basement door and hears Omkara screaming in pain.

"Oh... she is so beautiful." Gauri gushes holding her new born baby.

"Oh my God, I love her so much." Omkara says unable to believe how much he loved his little girl as he kept his hand under Gauri's holding their daughter.

Gauri and Omkara look at each other with happy tears, smiling so happily.

"Now, my turn." Veer tells them excitedly.

Gauri hands the baby to him. Veer picks her up and he also smiles through his tears.

"What is her name?" Veer asks them.

Omkara looks at Gauri then smiling he turns to his father and tells him. "Ashina."

Side hugging, Omkara, resting her head on his chest, Gauri informs Veer grinning "She is our she wolf."

"You two are putting too much pressure on her to be a werewolf." Veer teases them.

"Whether she will be a werewolf or not, she'll be our little wolf." Gauri tells him smiling.

"Are you sleepy, Ashu?" Gauri asks her daughter as she cradled her in her arms.

Exasperated Omkara tells her, "How many times, Gauri? short of Ashina is Ashi not Ashu!"

"What kind of a name is it even? Ashi? This is my Ashu." Gauri replies.

"Ashi is a name!" Omkara tells her.

"Not as cute as Ashu."

"Isn't Ashina so lucky to get such parents who are busy arguing when she is needing her nap?" Veer asks dryly.

Gauri and Omkara stop and look at Ashina embarrassed and sees her looking so sleepy.

"Why are you so worried?" Gauri asks Omkara as she breastfed Ashina.

"It's super moon tomorrow." Omkara tells her nervously.

"But you're handling it much better than the first time." Gauri tells him.

"It's my first super moon, Gauri. Papa asked me to stay away from you both tomorrow." Omkara tells her.

"Why?" Gauri asks shocked.

"Because it is not just night, throughout the day, we would feel the effects of the super moon."

"So, full day you'll be locked in the basement?" Gauri asks hurt at the thought.

Omkara sits next to her and cups her face. "It's best, Gauri. Papa is also planning to stay away tomorrow. Moon has never been this close to earth before. If he is scared of handling it, then I'm also scared, Gauri. and it is not just us. it is about Ashi too."

Gauri nods and keeps her head on his chest.

"what is happening to her?" Gauri asks as she cried hugging a crying Ashina to her chest.

Omkara and Veer worriedly watched Ashina screaming on top of her voice.

"Did you tried feeding her?" Veer asks Gauri.

Gauri nods crying as she shifted Ashina in her arms to make her comfortable.

"She was biting Gauri. almost drawing out blood." Omkara worriedly tells Veer. "Still Gauri tried feeding her."

"Don't Gauri." Veer worriedly tells her.

"I'll try holding her." Omkara tells Gauri as he extended his arms to Gauri.

Gauri was about to hand Ashina to him, when she notices his claws and pulls back in horror. "Om, claws!"

Omkara looks at his hand and quickly takes it back as he fisted them. "It's the super moon." Omkara tells her restlessly.

"You should go, Om." Veer tells him.

"How can I go leaving her like this?" Omkara asks worriedly.

"You've to, Om." Veer tells him noticing Omkara's body hair growing.

"How are you handling this?" Omkara asks his father helplessly as willed his body to listen to him.

"I'm not." Veer worriedly tells him as he tried to control his shift.

Omkara helplessly looks at Veer and then hearing Ashina screaming out in pain, he turns to look at her.

"It's the moon, isn't it?" Gauri asks worriedly.

"Papa... can you call Bua and find out if she is having any problems?" Omkara asks Veer nervously.

Veer takes his phone and called his sister. As they spoke, Omkara listened in on them.

Seeing Omkara close his eyes and sigh, Gauri worriedly asks him. "What is Bua saying?"

Omkara looks at her and guiltily looks at his daughter crying. "She is not feeling anything but Rudra is having slight discomfort and body pain."

"It means..." Gauri stops in realization.

"Ashina and Rudra are werewolves." Omkara finishes for her.

"because the moon is this close they are also feeling it's effect." Veer deduces. "Om never felt it during the previous super moon. Even I never had any problem before I turned the first time."

Feeling his body starting to turn, Veer turns to Omkara. "I can't stay anymore, Om. you also go now!"

"Gauri?" Omkara turns to her worriedly.

"I'll manage." Gauri tells him. "Now I know that she is not sick. I'll manage." Gauri tells him as she hugged her daughter, unable to see her in pain.

Omkara and Veer quickly leaves the room.

Gauri puts Ashina's head on her shoulder as she tried to put her to sleep.

Omkara was about to close the basement door when he felt his leg twist and he falls down screaming in pain as his bones broke.

Hearing Omkara howl, Gauri stops in confusion. Normally, she couldn't hear him from the basement, but now she could hear him clearly. Curiously, putting Ashina in her crib, Gauri goes to check.

Gauri walks down the stairs and was about to turn to head towards the basement when she hears a growl. Gauri stops in shock and turns around and sees a large wolf staring at her.

"Om?" Gauri whispers in shock, seeing him for the first time as a wolf. He was magnificent. So huge and beautiful. "You scared me." Gauri softly tells him, sighing in relief.

Omkara growls at her ferociously.

The moment he growled at her like that, she realized that it was not her Om who was looking at his Gauri. it was a wolf looking at his prey.

Gauri's heart breaks and her eyes fill up. "Om?" Gauri softly calls out to him.

Omkara starts to advance towards her when he stops and stared up.

At once, Gauri realized that his gaze was to Ashina's voice and smell. Fearing for her daughter's life she starts to run to the room when Omkara growls so loudly and jumps in front of her blocking her way.

Seeing him staring at her, Gauri scared for her life, without taking her eyes off his, she nervously starts edging to the stairs.

Omkara furiously growls as he blocked her path yet again. his gaze again going to Ashina's direction.

Gauri understood that he was blocking her path. Ashina was in no danger. Omkara was protecting his cub and territory from her. Gauri nervously moves back and sees he slightly moving back and she realized he was getting ready to pounce on her. screaming for her life, Gauri runs.

Omkara lands on the place that she had been standing. He growling starts running behind her. Gauri runs as fast as she could. but she feels his claws on her back and she was pushed to the ground. Gauri turns back and sees him menacingly advancing towards her.

"Om, it's me, Om." Gauri tells him as she cried crawling back.

With a loud growl, he jumps on her. he was about to bite her, when Gauri pushes him under his jaws, pushing his face away from hers. He fights back, his legs holding her down and again about to bite her when he was pushed away and another wolf jumped over them.

Gauri scrambles away from Omkara as she watched another wolf standing between Gauri and Omkara.

"Papa?" Gauri calls him as she cried.

The wolf turns to look at her, then he turns to face Omkara. omkara was about to jump at her again when Veer jumped on him and pushed him away. Gauri watched in horror Veer and Omkara fight.

Gauri runs out of the way, as she realized Veer was fighting and leading Omkara to the basement. As they headed there, Gauri followed them and the moment both the wolves entered the basement, Gauri locks the door and falls down crying remembering how Om had tried to kill her.

Hearing a knock at the door, Gauri runs to the door and opens it. she finds Veer at the door. she looks behind to look for Omkara and sees the hallway empty.

"Is Ashina okay?" Veer asks her.

Gauri nods in yes. "She stopped crying once the moon set. She is sleeping now."

"Are you okay, beta?" Veer asks her softly, his eyes filling with tears.

Hearing him, Gauri bursts into tears and hugs Veer as she cried.

"He wasn't in control. Otherwise he can never even think of hurting you." Veer tells her as he hugged her.

"I know." Gauri whispers as she cried out loudly.

"You should do first aid." Veer tells her smelling the blood.

"Would he have killed me?" Gauri asks him softly.

Veer gulps, even though he knew the answer, he couldn't answer her.

Understanding his silence, Gauri cries as she hugged Veer tight.

"Where is he?" Gauri asks Veer.

"Basement."

"He remembers?" Gauri asks him worriedly.

"Yes."

"Is he okay?"

Veer looks at her and tells her, "He is never going to be okay about this."

"I want to see him." Gauri tells him.

"After you do your first aid." Veer tells her.

Gauri tries to open the basement door and feeling it not budging, she realizes that it was locked from inside.

"Om... it's me." Gauri tells him as she knocked on the door.

When there was no answer and the door didn't open, she knocks again. "I know you can hear me, Om. open the door, please."

When he didn't reply or open, Gauri sits down and she caress the door. "I forgive you, Om." Gauri tells him as she cried. "I know you didn't mean to hurt me. I know that, Om."

She hears Omkara roar in anguish. Hearing his pain, she cries as she started banging on the door. "Please open the door, Om. I want to see you."

"Gauri..." Veer calls her.

Gauri looks up and sees him looking at her sympathetically. "He wants to be alone now. give him some time."

"No... no! Om needs me." Gauri tells him.

"Gauri..."

"I need him, Papa." Gauri tells him breaking down. "I want him to tell me that he still loves me. I've to tell him that I still love him. I'm not going anywhere. I'll not leave Om alone."

They hear, Omkara screaming in anguish and then they hear loud thrashing sound as he screamed in pain and fury.

"Om... Om..." Veer and Gauri starts banging on the door.

Then they hear him screaming in pain.

"he is turning." Veer whispers in shock. "Om open the door." Veer starts to bang on the door.

Out of pure panic and fear, Gauri quickly locks the door from outside.

Veer turns to look at her. Gauri guiltily looks at him.

"You should go to your room, Gauri." Veer gently tells her.

Gauri shakes her head in a no. "I can't leave him." Gauri helplessly whispers to him.

Hearing the door unlock, Gauri stands up as she watched the door open.

Seeing Omkara, Gauri sighs in relief. "Om."

Guilt stricken Omkara stood there with lowered gaze. Seeing that, Gauri hugs him. Omkara breaks into sobs. He slides down and falls to his knees. Gauri kneels in front of him.

"It's okay, Om." Gauri tells him as she cried with him.

"Papa was right. you are not safe here." Omkara tells her as he cried.

Gauri stops in shock hearing that, then cupping his face, she tells him. "No, Om. I wasn't careful. I shouldn't have come down. It was the supermoon. You should have gone down earlier."

"You're not safe here, Gauri."

"It happened once, Om. once you learn to control..."

Omkara cuts her off. "I just have to be successful once and you'll be dead, Gauri."

"It won't happen again. we'll be careful." Gauri tells him.

"It won't happen again, Gauri." Omkara tells her with finality.

Gauri felt a chill pass through her hearing the finality in his voice.

Omkara looks up and sees Veer walking to them with Ashina in his arms. "I'm sorry, Papa. I should have listened to you." Omkara tells him guiltily.

"I was wrong, Om. She is your anchor, Om. she keeps you connected to your humanity."

Omkara scoffs in disgust as he looked away.

"Don't you believe it, Om?" Gauri asks him hurt.

Omkara turns to her and tells her. "Yesterday, I could smell you and Ashina. I don't know whether it is the super moon, I got her werewolf scent. And I knew, she was my baby that I had to protect. And you..." Omkara stops as fresh tears fell from his eyes. "And you... I just wanted to tear you into pieces."

Gauri closes her eyes in pain hearing that.

"You shouldn't stay here anymore." Omkara tells her.

Gauri looks at him in shock. "I will not go anywhere. Ashina and I'll not leave you."

"Ashina is a werewolf, Gauri. she needs Papa and me, more than you." Omkara tells her painfully.

Gauri looks at him in shock and outrage then furiously she says, "That is my daughter!"

"You don't separate a mother and her child, Om." Veer tells Omkara in shock.

"I'll do anything to keep Gauri safe." Omkara tells Veer.

"I will not go. Don't you dare send me again to Bua. I will die but I will not leave you."

"I'll not send you there, Gauri. not to another place where there is a werewolf." Omkara tells her.

"She is not going anywhere, Om." Veer tells Omkara sternly.

"Gauri has to go, Papa."

"I won't go!" Gauri tells him.

Omkara moves closer to her, and quickly holds her by her neck.

"Turn me then, Om." Gauri tells him quickly realizing that he was going to compel her.

"I am a monster, Gauri. it kills me that because of me, our daughter is going to be a monster one day. I'll not push you into that hell. I'll protect you from myself and this curse." Omkara vows to her as tears fell from his eyes.

Gauri stares at him in shock. Being a werewolf was something he had dreamt of almost all his life. and for him, now, it was a curse.

Omkara pulls her closer.

"Please don't, Om." Gauri begs him as she cried.

"You are going to forget me, forget our love, forget our Ashina, forget Papa. You'll forget everything connected to me. you'll forget everything that connects us. you are going to go live in the house that Papa bought last week. You'll stay there. you'll live your life. you'll have everything that you need. A bank account to take care of all your needs. You'll not try to find out who is giving you the money. you will accept his need to be anonymous. You'll do everything that you want. You'll do everything that gives you happiness. you'll do everything that gives you peace. Anything that you don't understand or make sense to you, you will not ponder on it."

Omkara stops and sees tears falling from her eyes. he leans down and kisses Gauri's forehead as he tried control his tears. "You are going to kiss Ashina goodbye and leave."

Gauri closes her eyes and then opening them, she walks to Ashina and kisses her.

"Stop her, Om. break the compulsion." Veer furiously tells him. "She is my daughter and Ashina's mother."

"You are not the only one who loves her, Papa. I love her and I'll do anything to keep her safe." Omkara tells him.

"This is not keeping her safe. This is cruelty." Veer tells him angrily.

"But she will be alive." Omkara replies.

"She slept?" Veer asks seeing Omkara carrying in a sleeping Ashina.

"She was with Gauri, so missed her afternoon nap." Omkara tells him.

"What are you getting by all this, Om?" Veer asks him fed up. "Can't you see how much she needs Gauri?"

"She knows why Gauri has to stay away from us."

"Till when?" Veer asks him.

"Till I learn to control this curse."

"It's been years and haven't you realized that for you to be in control, you need Gauri with you?" Veer asks him angrily.

"I am not going to experiment with Gauri's life."

Veer sighs furiously and asks him. "Ashina can't call her mother, Mama. Do you realize the stress that you're putting her on?"

Omkara looks away feeling guilty remembering the earlier incident.

"Either you stay away from Gauri or bring her home. Stop playing this game and making her a fool." Veer tells him angrily.

"Gauri was so depressed and miserable. She was looking for a job. There was no other way I could help her." Omkara tells him.

"Then you shouldn't have told Ashina about it. now, all she can think about is come to your office and spent time with Gauri."

"I've never hid anything from her and I can never hide anything from her."

"What about all that you're hiding from my daughter?" Veer asks him angrily.

"I'll bring Gauri home one day, Papa." Omkara tells him and starts to walk off.

Noticing Rudra watching them, he asks Omkara. "When?"

"I told you..." Omkara replies.

"And are we going to wait till Rudra learns control then?" Veer asks him.

Omkara turns to look at Rudra and sees him watching them awkwardly.

"We'll move to Gauri's place." Omkara replies.

"Om..." Veer starts and Omkara stops him.

"You don't have to always argue, Papa. I'll not take a chance with Gauri's safety." Omkara tells him in finality.

Hearing his mobile ring, Omkara checks it and seeing it is his father, he answers the call. "Hello?"

"Papa..." Ashina says from the other end. "When will you come?"

"I'll come soon. Mama is still here. So, once she finishes work and leave, I'll come home."

"I'll come there?" Ashina asks excitedly.

Omkara listens to what Gauri was doing realizing that she was finishing up work, he tells Ashina. "Mama is done with work, Ashu... she is about to leave."

"Okay." Ashina says with a disappointed sigh.

"You can come tomorrow." Omkara tells her.

"Okay." Ashina says perking up.

"Hi Gauri." Omkara frowns hearing Ajay's voice. "Baby, I gotta go."

"Okay. See you soon, Papa. Muah."

"Hi Ajay." Omkara hears Gauri's reply.

He could hear her smile in her voice and he started breathing fast as he felt anger, jealousy and possessiveness rise in him.

"I was wondering if you wanted to go for coffee."

"Oh... I was just leaving." Gauri disappointedly says.

Omkara's claws come out and he fists his hand getting angry at Gauri's disappointment.

"Not today, tomorrow." Ajay quickly clarifies.

"Yeah sure." Gauri replies smiling.

Omkara furiously stands up overturning his chair.

"Cool... it's a date then."

"What?" Gauri whispers confused. "Ajay... I..." Gauri starts and at the same time, Omkara furiously roars.

Meanwhile, at their house.

"You are so slow, Dadu. I'll play." Ashina snatches his phone from him and starts playing.

"I'm slow?" Veer asks sarcastically. "You are still not a werewolf and you're saying I'm slow?"

"I'm a werewolf. When I turn I'll be so fast that you won't be able to catch up with me." Ashina tells him.

"Just like your Papa and Mama, you're so full of yourself and arrogant." Veer tells her.

"Really?" Ashina asks happily, her eyes wide. Then hugging him, she tells him. "Thank you, Dadu."

Veer chuckles as he hugged her. "Okay, you show me how to play."

"Okay." Ashina replies and starts to play.

Veer was watching her play when he hears Omkara's roar. His heart skips a beat realizing Omkara was furious about something. He starts to get up when Rudra comes running. "Did you hear O roar?"

"What?" Ashina asks worriedly. "What happened to Papa?"

Hearing the roar, Gauri and Ajay stops in confusion. They look at each other.

"Did you hear that?" Gauri asks Ajay.

"Sounded like a wild animal." Ajay replies confused.

A second later, Omkara furiously comes out of his room. his claws and fangs out. His facial hair overgrown.

"Oh my God." Gauri whispers in shock seeing him.

"Why is he looking like that?" Ajay asks in shock.

Omkara menacingly growls.

"Gauri, get back." Ajay tells her as he tried to pull her behind him.

Furiously, roaring, Omkara jumps forward and pulling Gauri's hand, he pulls her close to him.

"Leave me!" Gauri screams in panic.

And that was it for Omkara, overcome with jealousy and possessiveness, he stares into her eyes and screams. "REMEMBER! REMEMBER ME! REMEMBER EVERYTHING!"

Gauri blinks her eyes once and it was like a curtain lifted from her mind. "Om!" Gauri calls out to him as she started crying. "Om!" Gauri cups his face as she kissed his cheek, then she started kissing him all over his face.

"Gauri..." Omkara whispers feeling relief rush over him. her love and kisses calming him down.

Omkara closes his eyes in bliss as his claws, fangs and hair retrieved.

"Om... I love you." Gauri tells him as she cried loudly. "Where were you all this while? Don't you love me anymore?"

"I do... more than anyone else." Omkara replies as he kissed her and hugged her tight.

"Don't ever go away from me again." Gauri tells him as she hugged him tight.

"Mama?" Ashina softly calls her.

Gauri turns around in shock and sees Veer standing with Ashina in his arms. "Ashu! My baby!" Gauri calls out to her as she ran to her. Gauri picks her up and kisses her all over her face. "Oh my God... I can't believe it is you. you've grown so much." Gauri says through her tears and then she stops in realization and turns to Omkara in anger.

"You made me forget." Gauri accuses him.

"You remember, Mama?" Ashina asks her in shock and surprise.

Gauri turns to look at her daughter, she nods in yes and overcome with love, she kisses her. "I'm sorry, I forgot you, my baby." Gauri tells her amidst tears and kisses.

"It is okay, Mama. It was to keep you safe." Ashina consoles her as she hugged Gauri.

Gauri turns around and angrily asks Omkara. "How could you do this to me?"

"It was to keep you safe." Omkara guiltily explains to her.

"It was my choice to make. NOT YOURS!"

"Don't scream at Papa, Mama." Ashina worriedly tells her.

Unable to show her anger in front of their daughter, Gauri turns to Veer and asks him. "How could you stand by and let him do this to me?"

"If I had the power to break the compulsion, I would have, beta." Veer sadly tells her.

"You had the power to tell me the truth." Gauri reminds him.

"You wouldn't have believed me." Veer says shaking his head.

"I would have." Gauri argues stubbornly.

"You wouldn't. It is not an easy thing to believe, Gauri." Veer gently points out to her.

Gauri shakes her head in pain.

"He always fought with me for you, Gauri. it was my decision alone. No one else had any part in it." Omkara tells her.

"You both betrayed me. you kept my daughter away from me."

"It had to be done, Gauri." Omkara tells her helplessly.

"I don't care."

"It was for the best." Omkara tells her.

Hearing him say that, Ashina asks him worriedly as she held Gauri tight. "Are you going to make Mama forget again, Papa?"

"No, he is not." Gauri angrily replies.

"Don't be angry, Mama. Papa was keeping you safe." Ashina tells her sadly.

"He is going to continue keeping me safe by staying away from me." Gauri declares as she glared at Omkara.

Veer immediately moves to her. "Gauri, I can understand, beta. but let's just go home and sort this out."

"No! I'm not coming anywhere." Gauri tells him. then she warns Omkara. "Don't come near me again, Om."

Gauri turns around and walks out with Ashina.

Ashina worriedly looks at Omkara. Omkara puts on a fake smile and gestures that he'll handle it. Ashina smiles seeing that and waves bye to him as she hugged Gauri with her other hand.

After Gauri left, Rudra walks in and asks them. "what am I supposed to do with him?"

Glaring furiously, Omkara looks at a terrified Ajay who was held by his collar by Rudra.

"Who is this?" Richa asks surprised seeing Ashina with Gauri.

"This is my daughter, Ashina. Ashu... this is Mama's friend."

"I know. Richa Aunty." Ashina tells her smiling.

"How?" Richa asks surprised.

Realizing Omkara might have told her about Richa, Gauri tells Richa. "I'll explain everything later."

"Okay." Richa nods though still shocked out of her wits finding out that Gauri has a daughter.

"I'll talk to you tomorrow." Gauri tells her, not in the mind frame to come up with a possible story or lie to explain to her friend.

Richa nods then noticing Ashina smiling at her, Richa smiles at her. "It is nice to meet you, cutie pie."

"You know everything, Ashu?" Gauri asks her.

"Yes, Papa tells me everything." Ashina replies with a smile.

Gauri smiles, her eyes filling up and she lovingly cups her face. "I can't believe that you're my Ashu."

Ashina smiling happily, hugs her. "I love you, Mama."

"I love you, my she wolf." Gauri tells her softly chuckling and crying at the same time as she hugged her back.

Gauri and Ashina were talking to each other, when Ashina excitedly tells her. "Mama, give me your phone. I want to message Papa."

Gauri takes her mobile and passes it to her.

"I've saved his number as Boss." Gauri tells her.

"How do I spell Boss?" Ashina asks her.

"B O S S. What do you want to message him?" Gauri asks her curiously.

"Surprise." Ashina excitedly tells her. "Mama, cover your ears."

Seeing her excitement, Gauri smiling covers her ears as she curiously watched Ashina. Ashina moves a little away from her, then taking the mobile close to her lips, she whispers into it and sends Omkara a voice note.

Gauri removes her hand and tells Ashina with a smile. "You go to school now. Papa and I have never been to school. We were homeschooled."

"Because Dadu was scared that you both might tell everyone about werewolves." Ashina excitedly says.

"Yes. Papa told you that?" Gauri asks smiling.

"Yes. Papa knows I won't tell anyone. Even if I accidentally tell anyone, Papa can make them forget." Ashina tells her.

Then they hear Gauri's phone beeping with messages, one after the other.

"It is Papa. Unlock Mama." Ashina excitedly tells her as she showed her the phone.

Gauri unlocks it and sees that Omkara had send lots of photos.

"What photos are these?" Gauri asks her.

"See." Ashina tells her smiling excitedly.

Gauri opens the photos and gasps in shock seeing her with Ashina. "When.." Gauri starts and she instantly remembers. "It was my birthday." Gauri says, her eyes filling up.

"It is Papa's gift for you for your birthday. Full day, you'll remember me and we will be together." Ashina tells her.

Gauri remembering, says shocked. "And your birthdays too."

"That is yours and Papa's birthday gift to me." Ashina tells her smiling.

Gauri rakes her brains but she couldn't remember Omkara in any of those. "Papa never came?" Gauri asks her.

Ashina shakes her head. "Only to make you remember me and then to take me home after making you forget."

"What about his birthdays?" Gauri asks her softly.

"He doesn't celebrate his birthdays." Ashina sadly tells her.

"We used to meet only on birthdays?" Gauri asks then remembering she says, "We met otherwise too."

"Whenever I miss you really badly and whenever Papa feels you're very sad then."

Gauri sighs as she looked away. she knew Om did try to give Ashu and her their time together but she was still angry that he took away a huge chunk of her life. sadly, she gets off the bed and walks to the window.

As she stood by the window, she hears Omkara howling.

"That is Papa, right?" Ashina asks excitedly as she ran out of the bed to the window. "Mama, pick me up." Ashina tells her as she couldn't see out the window.

Gauri picks her up.

Ashina waves. "Good night, Papa. I love you. Muah." Ashina says giving flying kiss to him.

Omkara howls in reply.

"Can you see him?"

"No." Ashina replies disappointed.

Gauri closes the window and walks back to bed.

"When I turn then I'll be able to see." Ashina excitedly tells her.

"Are you excited about turning?" Gauri asks her smiling, seeing her excitement.

Ashina looks down sadly.

"What happened, baby?" Gauri asks her in concern.

Ashina shakes her head.

"What is it, Ashu? Are you scared of turning?" Gauri asks her worriedly.

Ashina nods in yes. "Don't tell Papa. He will feel sad."

"I won't tell him." Gauri tells her as she sat down and made Ashina sit on her lap. "Tell me what are you scared of. Is it the pain?"

"Dadu said the pain will go away after a while."

"Then...?"

"But Papa still has pain. I've heard him scream when he turns."

"Even now?" Gauri asks shocked.

"He has no control. What if I also have no control, Mama?" Ashina worriedly asks her.

"You'll learn, Baby."

"What if I also hurt you, Mama?" Ashina asks her sadly, her eyes filling up.

"You won't hurt me, baby. and we will handle it better. I'll stay away and Papa and Dadu are there, right?"

Ashina nods.

"Yesterday when you asked for coffee, I thought it was a friendly invite, I didn't realize it was a date... I'm sorry, I can't do that."

Ajay smiles in relief. "Oh that's okay. no problem."

Gauri was a little taken back seeing his relief.

"Okay then bye." Ajay tells her smiling and walks off.

Gauri watches him walk off wondering whether Om not just took away his memory of Omkara wolfing out in front of him and their reunion, maybe something else too. Confused, Gauri follows him and sees him talking to Ishana.

"Called off the date? But why?" Ishana asks him shocked.

"Thank God... I was wondering how to tell her that I didn't want to go on the date with her. luckily she herself called it off." Ajay tells her smiling in relief.

"But what happened so suddenly? Till yesterday you were planning your wedding with her."

"Yeah, I was." Ajay says shuddering. "Today, I saw the way she opens the door. Oh my God... it was such a turn off."

"what?" Ishana asks shocked.

Gauri furiously takes in a breath hearing that.

"Yeah... I never thought anyone could open the door in such a yucky way." Ajay says and walks off.

Gauri furiously turns around and walks to Omkara's cabin.

She opens the door and walks in and sees Omkara leaning back on his chair, smugly smirking at her with one eye brow raised.

"You compelled him to get turned off by me?" Gauri asks him in shocked exasperation.

Omkara shrugs with a smirk.

"You are such a..." Gauri stops furiously.

Omkara gets up and walks to her and says very smugly. "I feel sorry for you, Gauri. I just told him that the first thing that he sees you do; he should have instant disinterest in you. but for opening the door... tsk tsk... that is cruel."

"You dog!"

"Wolf, baby." Omkara reminds her as he held her hand and pulled her close to him.

Gauri stiffens feeling him so close to her. "Why did you do that?" Gauri asks him as she looked at his eyes. "You think to hurt you I would go on a date with him?"

"No."

"Even when I didn't remember you, I never thought of anyone like that."

"I know."

"Then why did you do this?"

"I just don't like anyone looking at you like that."

"After all that you did... your nerve." Gauri says angrily.

"I'm scared, Gauri." Omkara confesses to her gently.

Gauri stops without saying anything.

"I can still hurt you but I feel so relieved that you remember me."

"You shouldn't have done this." Gauri angrily tells him.

"What would you have done if you were in my place? And I was in your place." Omkara asks her back.

"I was not in your place and you were not in my place." Gauri replies to him. "I was in my place and you did whatever you did." Gauri accuses him.

"I tried killing you, Gauri." Omkara reminds her as his eyes filled up.

"I forgave you for that, Om. but this... I can't." Shaking her head in no, Gauri replies to him.

"I know you want to forgive me. I know you want to be near me. tht is why you came to office today." Omkara gently tells her.

"I won't be coming again." Gauri tells him.

Omkara frowns hearing that. "Can you stay without seeing me?" asks her hurt.

"I did, all these years." Gauri reminds him.

"Because you didn't remember me."

Gauri looks away angrily.

"Where is Ashu?" Omkara asks her when she remained silent.

"I dropped her to school."

Omkara nods.

"We're coming home." Gauri tells him.

"I still haven't learned to control, Gauri." Omkara worriedly tells her.

"I'm not coming for you. I'm coming for Ashina. Only because she needs you and Papa." Gauri tells him sternly.

Omkara nods his heart beating fast.

"She is scared, Om." Gauri gently tells him.

"Scared?" Omkara asks frowning in concern.

Gauri tells him about their conversation.

Guiltily Omkara moves back hearing that. "I try to keep her away when I am turning but the times when I lose control, she would have heard me. and she knows about my lack of control."

"The only way she will get over her fear is when you learn control."

"I've been trying, Gauri." Omkara helplessly tells her.

"You've to try harder."

Omkara helplessly sighs. "It kills me, Gauri. that I gave her my werewolf genes."

"She is a werewolf, Om. You're a werewolf. And Papa is a werewolf. My whole family are werewolves and I love all three of you. Werewolves are werewolves, not monsters."

Omkara hugs her hearing her. Gauri gently hugs him.

"This used to be my room." Gauri tells Ashina as she entered Ashina's bedroom. Feeling nostalgic, Gauri looks around the room and it was filled with her photos, some solo, some with Omkara and some with Ashina. Seeing claw marks on the walls and floor, she runs her finger over them.

"I know, Mama. That is why Papa gave me this room."

Gauri turns to her know-it-all daughter and says with a smile. "You know everything."

"Yes." Ashina replies smiling proudly.

Gauri chuckles hearing that.

"Gauri..." Omkara calls her from behind.

Gauri turns to him. "What?" Gauri asks him sternly.

Omkara turns to his daughter and calls her gently. "Ashu... come here."

Ashina walks to him. Omkara leans down and whispers something to her eyes. After listening to him, Ashina nods and leaves the room.

"Where is she going?" Gauri asks confused.

"To Papa. I want to talk to you."

"I don't want to talk to you." Gauri tells him angrily and starts to walk out.

"It's important, Gauri." Omkara tells her.

Gauri stops and turns to him.

Omkara walks to her and takes her hand in his.

"What happened?" Gauri asks worriedly seeing him serious and sad.

"It's Bua, Gauri." Omkara tells her.

"What happened to her?" Gauri asks worriedly.

"She met with an accident." Omkara gently tells her.

"Oh my God, is she okay?"

"Two months back, Gauri."

Gauri's heart skips a beat realizing what he was saying. Her eyes fill up and she hugs Omkara. "She was so nice to me when I stayed with her."

"I know, love." Omkara hugs her.

"she was so sweet, Om. I couldn't see her for the last time." Gauri tells Omkara hurt.

Omkara hugs her tight and asks her. "Did you talk to Rudra?"

"No... I didn't see him since I came." Gauri replies as she thought of Roop.

"There is something else, Gauri."

"What?" Gauri asks as she looked at him.

"A month before that Rudy had turned."

"Oh."

"And this news, he lost control completely. He shifted in front of some people."

"Oh my God." Gauri whispers in shock.

"Papa and I compelled all of them." Omkara quickly tells her.

"Phupha knows about you all now?" Gauri asks him.

"Yeah, he does. He thinks Rudra and we are animals." Omkara tells her, his eyes filling up.

"What?" Gauri shouts in fury.

"And when you had gone to stay there, Papa had compelled him so that he wouldn't get suspicious and asks questions about your memory. He is furious about that too." Omkara tells her.

"But how can he think Rudy is an animal?" Gauri asks shocked. "How can any parent think that?"

Omkara helplessly shrugs. "Papa wanted to compel him, but Rudy stopped him. he doesn't want Phupha to be compelled to love him or accept him as he is."

"Is Rudra okay?" Gauri asks worriedly.

"He is not but he is strong. He is trying to overcome this all."

"And Papa?" Gauri asks softly.

"He is better now."

Hearing Gauri walk in, Veer looks up at her. seeing her sad, he sighs. "Om told you."

Gauri nods. "You heard?"

"No... Ashina told me."

"Are you okay, Papa?" Gauri asks him as she sat next to him.

Veer nods.

Gauri hugs him and Veer hugs her back.

"A sister who has been with you since your childhood. Who has been your support and strength when she goes..." Veer sadly sighs. "I'm fine, Gauri. I've accepted it. My concern is Rudra now. he has gone through so much."

"He is going to be fine, Papa." Gauri tells him smiling. "He is very strong."

Veer smiles and tells her, "God help you when he recovers fully. Don't know what all he is teaching your daughter now itself."

Gauri laughs softly hearing that. she leans up and kisses his cheek. "I missed you, Papa."

"I missed you too." Veer tells her, his eyes filling with happy tears.

"Why didn't you ever come to see me?" Gauri asks him as she didn't have any memories of meeting him like she did with Ashina.

Veer sadly says, "I couldn't make a fool out of you like that."

Gauri sighs sadly and hugs him.

"I forgive you, Papa."

"Thank you. I'm sorry, Gauri, I couldn't do anything for you."

Gauri shakes her head and hugs him. "How is Om doing?" Gauri asks him.

"Not good."

Gauri sighs hearing that.

"It is you who is his anchor. He'll be better now. you're here. He is going to handle it better."

Gauri nods.

"You guys patched up?" Rudra asks.

Gauri and Veer turns to see Rudra with Ashina and Khanna.

"Rudra..." Gauri calls his name in concern as she stood up.

"Oh." Rudra sadly sighs. "O told you about Mom."

Gauri walks to him and hugs him.

"I'm fine." Rudra tells her as he hugged her.

"Mama... was Rudy chachu your best friend when you were staying at his house?" Ashina curiously asks.

Gauri turns to her daughter as she thought of her one month stay with his family. Then smiling she says. "Yeah. We were kinda like best friends then."

"Oh really?" Ashina asks shocked.

Gauri chuckles. "Yeah, I didn't remember Om then."

Grinning mischievously, Rudra tells her. "O gets so jealous every time I mention that time. He goes red."

Gauri chuckles. "Serves him right."

Ashina's face falls and sadly pouting she looks down.

"She is a Papa's girl." Rudra tells Gauri.

"Oh baby" Gauri cutely kisses her.

"I've told you, Ashina. Your Papa and Mama will be fighting like cats and dogs one second and next they will be the bestest friends in the world. Just ignore them." Veer tells her.

"Gauri..." Omkara walks to her.

"What is it?" Gauri asks him angrily.

"Since you've decided to stay here from now on, I want you to keep this with you at all times." Omkara tells her as he handed her a pouch.

Curiously Gauri takes it and opens it. her heart skips a beat in fear seeing the dagger. "Silver dagger?"

"Yes. You should keep it with you always, Gauri." Omkara tells her.

Gauri furiously looks at him. "You want me to carry a weapon that can kill my daughter, my love and my father?"

"Unless you stab us in the heart, it won't kill us. just burn us."

"NO!"

"And it won't hurt Ashu."

"How can you be sure?" Gauri asks him in outrage.

"You forgot? We tested on me to find out whether I was a werewolf and it didn't burn me that time. Khanna also carries a silver dagger. It is for your safety."

"I don't want this kind of safety." Gauri stubbornly tells him and walks off.

"Weapon to kill daughter, love and father. Not brother? I feel slighted, Bhabhi." Rudra says faking a sad pout.

Gauri turns to him frowning and asks. "Were you eavesdropping?"

Rudra cheekily grins.

"What the hell, Rudy?"

"Oh come on, Bhabhi. I just got super hearing. I want to enjoy that power." Rudra tells her. "Wouldn't you use it?"

Knowing she would have, Gauri changes the topic. "why are you calling me, Bhabhi? You used to call me Gauri di, right?" Gauri asks confused.

"Yeah, that time I thought you were Mamu's daughter."

"I am his daughter." Gauri replies frowning.

"You know, I meant like O and you were brother sister."

"EWWWWWE," Gauri screams in disgust at the same time they hear an outraged growl.

"Looks like I'm not the only one eavesdropping." Rudra cheekily says.

Gauri glares at Omkara's direction.

"At least I don't follow around people." Rudra cheekily says.

Gauri turns to scowl at him.

"Oh I know you find it romantic." Rudra teases her.

"Of course not!"

"Liar! You used to make me watch twilight."

"He and Edward Cullen are bloody stalkers. There is no two ways about it." Gauri tells him pissed.

"I thought you were an Edward Cullen fan girl." Rudra says surprised.

"That was till she found Damon Salvatore and Klaus Michaelson." Omkara replies.

"Get lost." Gauri tells him.

"That show also?" Rudra asks. "You never liked any good shows?"

"Oh my God! You are just like him!" Gauri says. "Dislike the show because Vampires are the heroes and not werewolves."

Rudra and Omkara grins hearing her. Gauri walks off.

"Did you lock him?" Gauri asks Khanna as he walked into her bedroom and locked t.he door

"Yes. I locked Rudra in the basement too." Khanna informs her.

"They are together?" Gauri asks confused.

"No, Om used to use this bedroom since you are here, he is using his bedroom."

"He used this room?" Gauri asks softly as she gently ran her fingers over the claw marks on the wall.

"Papa wanted the werewolf to get used to your scent." Ashina tells her as she stood by the window. "So he will not attack you."

Gauri nods feeling sad. She was feeling scared for Omkara. "What would you usually do, Ashina at this time?"

"We stay in Dadu's room." Ashina replies. "But when Papa loses control and turns then whichever room I am in, we lock inside that and sit."

"He hasn't lost control." Gauri softly says.

"Since you came back." Khanna tells her.

Gauri sighs feeling her heart break for Om.

"It started." Ashina tells Gauri seeing the full moon.

"Are you scared?" Gauri asks her softly as she sat next to her.

Ashina looks at her sadly and says, "Papa will be in pain. Even Rudy chachu."

"It is just for some time." Gauri tells her.

Ashina hugs Gauri and sits on her lap.

"One day they are going to learn to handle this like Dadu and then they won't have to be locked inside. They can run through the woods freely." Gauri tells her.

They remained silent for a while. Both worried for Omkara. unable to handle her worry, Gauri gets up.

"I'll come now." Gauri tells Khanna.

"Where are you going?" Khanna asks frowning.

"Check on Om."

"No." Khanna tells her sternly.

"He is locked inside." Gauri reminds him.

Knowing there was no use arguing with her, Khanna gives her a pouch. "Om told me to give you this if you insisted on going out of the room. and to not let you out if you didn't take it."

"What about you and Ashu?"

"I've mine."

Gauri takes it. turning to Ashina she tells her, "Ashu, I've to be near Papa. I've to go."

"I want to come."

"No. it is not safe." Gauri tells her and leaves the room.

As she reached his room, she could hear the sound of him turning and screaming. She sits down next to the door and keeps her ears close to the door. as she sat there listening to him cry in pain, she cried silently for the pain he was going through. Gauri closes her eyes and keeps her head on the door.

After some time, she hears him howl. She was terrified remembering what had happened last time, but she just couldn't bring herself to leave him. and in that moment, she understood why Om kept her away. it was because she wouldn't leave his side no matter what.

She could feel and somewhat hear Omkara come near the door. she stops breathing in fear and concern for him. then she heard him lie down.

"Om..." Gauri softly calls him.

She hears a sound from inside.

"I'm here, Om." Gauri tells him.

And she hears him whimper.

They sat like that.

"Gauri..."

Hearing Omkara call her Gauri quickly opens the door and she was engulfed in his embrace.

"I could smell you. I knew you were there but I didn't want to attack you. I knew you were my Gauri." Omkara tells her as he hugged her tight, crying in relief.

Gauri closes her eyes, in relief and joy. "I knew you could do this." Gauri tells him crying in relief.

"You are my anchor, Gauri." Omkara tells her.

By the time, Gauri had come back to check on Ashina, she was dosing off. Omkara had wished her good night before he had gone to his room for the full moon.

"Is Papa okay, Mama?" Ashina asks her as she yawned sleepily.

"Yes. He did good today." Gauri tells her smiling happily.

Ashina smiles hearing that.

As Gauri was putting her to sleep, she tells her. "Ashu, I'm going to sleep with Papa, okay?"

"Why?" Ashina asks sadly pouting.

"Because I've been away from Papa for so long."

"You and Papa are friends now?"

"Yes."

"Then okay." Ashina tells her smiling.

"Thank you, baby." Gauri tells her as she kissed her forehead.

"Papa doesn't let me sleep with him. he is scared that he might turn at night and hurt me." Ashina tells her a little disappointed.

"One day, all three of us sleep together." Gauri promises her.

Ashina smiles hearing that and dreaming of that she goes to sleep.

Gauri opens the door and sees Omkara already on bed.

"Slept?" Gauri asks as she got on the bed after leaving her dagger on the side table.

"Waiting for you." Omkara replies as he stifled a yawn.

"You knew I would come?" Gauri asks him as she lay next to him.

"I know you." Omkara replies as he hugged her and yawned.

"You're tired, go to sleep." Gauri tells him smiling.

"I waited a lifetime for this night." Omkara tells her.

"Tonight I understood why you did what you did." Gauri tells him.

Omkara listens to her silently.

"It still hurts, Om. but I understand and I forgive you."

Omkara kisses her cheek lovingly.

"You wanted to keep me safe but I was feeling dead inside all these years, Om." Gauri tells him as tears rolled from her eyes.

Omkara's heart breaks hearing that.

"You told me to do what gives me peace and happiness. and I was searching for that and I couldn't even remember that my peace and happiness is you."

Tears fall from Omkara's eyes hearing that.

"Why didn't you come in front of me all these years other than to make me remember and forget Ashu?"

"Because I knew if I made you remember me, then I'll not be able to make you forget me again."

"What if I had found a life with someone else, Om? what would you have done?" Gauri asks him.

"Ever since you left, Gauri, I've been thinking. I realized that your whole life was for me. Papa brought you here to make me happy. You had no one else other than us. you had no other option than to love me. And I couldn't help wonder that whether if we had met in a different life, then would you've still loved me. the office, I guess, somewhere in me, I wanted to know whether you could love me without remembering our past. Maybe that is why I came in front of you like that there."

Realizing that he had been insecure, Gauri tells him. "I don't know if I would have loved you in a different life. I know that in this life I only love you and I can only love you. in this life, I belong to you like you belong to me."

Omkara closes his eyes feeling relieved.

"But I like having other friends." Gauri tells him grinning.

Omkara smiles hearing that. "As long as I am your best friend."

"That you are." Gauri tells him smiling.

"What did you tell your other best friend?"

"I told Richa that you cheated me and I left home. Now, I'm going back home."

"I cheated you?" Omkara asks offended.

"Erasing my memory is cheating." Gauri tells him.

"And she didn't ask about why you never mentioned Ashu?"

"I told her it was too painful for me to speak about her. anyway, I told her that she can stay at the house. I'll meet her and keep the friendship."

"Ashu also has lots of friends." Omkara tells her smiling.

"Why did you put her in a school?"

"I didn't want to repeat the mistakes that Papa did with us. Ashu needs to have more people in her life. and Ashu knows what to tell people and what not to tell people. Since the day you left. Before she could understand anything. I used to tell her why I had to send you away to protect you and why we must hide our identity. She grew up knowing it all."

"Papa never told us the bad side of werewolves. So, I wasn't really prepared for it all. But Ashu is."

"She has more clarity of things than we did at the time we had her." Gauri jokes.

"True." Omkara chuckles. "I raised her well, right?" Omkara asks her nervously.

"The best." Gauri replies smiling. "And you call her Ashu."

"Because you preferred that." Omkara reminds her.

"Ashu is cute."

"Ashi is more apt though." Omkara replies.

"Oh my God, after all these years, you're still stuck on that?"

Omkara chuckles.

"One day, we should sleep with Ashu. She wants that." Gauri tells him.

"I know I can do it now but I just want to wait before we start relaxing around me."

Gauri nods.

"Promise me that you'll keep that dagger with you always. Khanna also has dagger. Ashu has a silver pendant on her. it is for all your safety. It is not just me, Gauri. even Rudy is still struggling with it."

"I promise." Gauri tells him. "I will not be careless anymore."

Omkara smiles hearing that. "Thank you. After you came back, I haven't turned other than this full moon. No matter how much angry I have got, I haven't turned. Papa is right, you're the anchor that is keeping me connected to my humanity." Omkara tells her as he kissed her cheek.

"And you keep me connected to myself. I had lost myself without you. You're my anchor, Omkara." Gauri tells him as she took his lips in hers.

I don't know whether you guys liked it or felt that it was an abrupt end. I actually had plans to make Gauri a werewolf in the end but then, when I started writing the last scene, I felt this was a more apt point to end this story.
