The morning had come and Xie Lian was observing Wei Wuxian's sleeping face. He just came back from a witch hunt, in which the said witch was not the person he was looking for, and it made him angry because he lost precious time with Xianxian. He wondered how old Xianxian would be when he woke up today. Would he be in his twenty three years old? Or less? He remembered that time, long ago, when they were still young and stupid, and doing many stupid things. Who knew that they would end up like this?
He was so deep in thought about the past and did not see the grabbing hands come and tackle him onto the bed.

"So, you're back." Wei Wuxian straddled him and held him in a chokehold. "Don't you think it's time for us to have the talk ?"

"You… still remember?" Xie Lian was surprised. If he grew up again, was he supposed to remember? "How old are you?" Better make sure.

"Still eighteen. Why? Do you expect me to grow overnight?"

"Well, you are supposed to grow overnight, remember? Why didn't you grow?" Xie Lian moved Wei Wuxian's choke easily. "You're heavy, please move, or I'm going to be killed by your fiance."

"Hmm…" But he moved off Xie Lian. "Why do you think I'm stuck at my age now?"

"I don't know, a glitch? That body had not been used for millennia, you know."

"Or you just won't admit that you did something wrong, and blame it on poor maintenance." Wei Wuxian woke up and looked at the mirror. "Ooh, I still look good, don't I?" He twirled in front of the mirror. "It's been too long."

"By the way, there's someone here to see you."

Yuwen Xing was very nervous. She picked today to meet with Wei Wuxian because she knew that she should be in her late teens, and she wanted to know more about her. She genuinely liked the girl, who was going to be her daughter-in-law soon. If her son did not screw up. Speaking of the said son, where was he? Shouldn't he be here and be overprotective as usual? But the thought was cut from her since she heard footsteps from the stairs, and she looked up to see Xie Lian walking down with a gorgeous young woman beside him.
 
If Momo was like a fragile sea nymph, this young woman was like a demon goddess. Her looks were so out-of-this-world, with the long hair as dark as the night, the tall, athletic body, milky white transparent skin, and her most prominent feature, the eyes. They were like two galaxies swirling inside, sucking everyone who dared to look closer. They were so hypnotizing, even Yuwen Xing could not look away from her. No wonder her son fell hard and deep for this woman.
 
"Auntie Xing, this is Xianxian, she's eighteen. Xianxian, this is Auntie Xing, your fiance 's mother."

Wei Wuxian was taken by surprise when Xie Lian introduced them. So, he was telling the truth when he said that Hanguang Jun was his fiance, since his mother seemed on good terms with them. It was just… strange. Although the man himself had almost no flaws as far as he could see.

"Hello, Auntie Xing, how do you do?" Wei Wuxian gave the older woman a smile.

"Xianxian, I told you to call me Mother already." She suddenly stood up and hugged Wei Wuxian in her warm embrace. The older woman was as tall as Wei Wuxian, and she also had a strong, fit build and outdoorsy look, with her casual jeans and white shirt. Her short, light-colored hair was cut short and she was beautiful with her Yuwen's golden eyes. She looked like a ferocious lion.
Wei Wuxian was a little bit confused, but Xie Lian gestured to him that it's okay, so he relaxed for a bit.

"Uhm, mother." It was awkward, but Yuwen Xing seemed to like it.

"Good girl, now, shall we go out and have fun?"

Wei Wuxian was a daredevil once upon a time, well, he still is, but this woman, this… Hanguang Jun's mother, was on a different level altogether. 
 
They started their outings with a car ride to a secret destination. The car was a red corvette stingray convertible, and they rode it with the top off. The bodyguards were following them in a black range rover. But before they went to their final destination, Yuwen Xing stopped the car in a high-end boutique that only catered to the upper class, and did not accept a walk-in customer. She entered the boutique and the manager himself came out to greet her.
 
"Madam Yuwen, it's nice to see you. And this is…" he was confused because Madam Yuwen never brought anyone with her before, and as far as he knew, she only had two sons.

"This is my daughter-in-law, Miss Wei." Yuwen Xing introduced Wei Wuxian to the flustered manager. Daughter-in-law? He did not hear any news that any of Madam Yuwen's sons got married. Was it recently? The young woman was so beautiful and regal, and she was befitting of becoming any of the Young Masters' wife.
"Miss Wei, it is an honor." The manager observed the casual clothing she wore. It was just simple oversized high waist faded jeans, which emphasized her slim waist, and a loose white shirt with its front tucked into the waistband. She also wore a rust-gold woven leather belt, rust-gold flat shoes and a rust-gold woven leather wallet-on-chain. The color of her eyes was so mesmerizing, and she had the air about her that made him gulp in nervousness. And her hair was so long and luscious and glowing. Everything about her screamed that she was not an ordinary young woman. If only he knew.
 
"Xianxian, go, pick anything that you want, we're going on a three days trip, girls only. I'll make sure to tell Wangji not to post a missing person's report on you." Yuwen Xing grinned.

"Three days?" Wei Wuxian was surprised. "Where are we going to go?" 

"Oh, I don't know, where do you want to go? She was happy to indulge the girl. Her boys were not fun at all.

"Are you being serious right now?" Wei Wuxian was so excited at the prospect of going three days alone, well, with his so-called mother-in-law, but judging from what he saw so far, it surely wouldn't be that bad.
 
"Why would I lie to you?" Yuwen Xing was ecstatic to go on a trip with her newly acquired daughter, in-law or not, she would always be dear to her heart.
 
"In that case, I know exactly what we should do these three days. Hope you are prepared for that."
