Hiccup and Astrid as kids

Hiccup and Astrid are just playing at the park with Hiccup's black cat named Toothless. Hiccup and Astrid is just giggling and lying on the grass.

"Hey Astrid?" Hiccup said.

"Ya?" Astrid replied.

"We'll be always buddies right?" Hiccup asked.

"Of course. We're best friends." Astrid said

"Ya and our friendship will never be broken." Hiccup said.

"Astrid! Time to go now!" Astrid's mother called out her daughter.

"Okay mom!" Astrid yelled back. "Looks like I have to go now." She said looking at Hiccup.

"Ya. I guess I'll see you next time." Hiccup said.

"Yup." Astrid said popping the 'p'.

They both stand up. After dusting of some dirt on the ground, Astrid hugged Hiccup. Hiccup hugged back.

"Bye." Astrid said and left.

After when Astrid left with her mother, Hiccup went back to her mother.

"So... Did you tell Astrid that you liked her?" Valka asked a.k.a. mother of Hiccup.

"I... Was about to... But... They were already leaving." Hiccup said.

"Oh... Well.. I have something to tell you... But I don't know if your gonna hate this or be sad." Valka said.

Hiccup gives a confuse face to his mother. "Why? What gonna happen? What is it?" Hiccup said. He has a lot of questions. He is a bit of a curious type.

Valka took a deep breath. "Well, weeks later... We will be leaving." Valka said.

"Why?" Hiccup said with a sad face thinking that he is gonna miss Astrid so much.

"Well your father wanted you to experience about his mayor stuff. He would also make you do one of your mystery stuff or being a detective you lil smart detective." Valka said and pulled Hiccup into her arms and rubs his head.

Hiccup giggled.

"I'm sorry son." Valka said apologizing knowing that he will miss Astrid.

"Ya. Its okay mom." Hiccup said. Then they both hugged.

"Now. Let's go home now and be prepared for our flight in about for weeks." Valka said.

"Okay." Hiccup said.

Hiccup caried Toothless and also helped his mom packing up their stuff and went home.

Sorry for the short chapter. I was actually planning to make it long but it wasn't. Hope that the next chapter will be long. But I just have a feeling that it is going to be short again.
