The wind blew harsh whilst we stared each other down. The Demon King smirked. Meliodas cracked his knuckles to prepare himself. Elizabeth stood beside us, every intention to fight.

I took in a deep breath and stretched out my arms. There was no way I could allow myself to loose. Everyone has sacrificed so much for me. The least I could do is free everyone from their chains....even if I'm not in that final picture..

Meliodas ran forward, attempting a punch. As a result, the Demon King jumped into the air, his black hair flowing behind him.

"You fool. You say that there is not even room for one Demon King? So what now? Do you intend to wipe out your father and little brother as well as yourself?!" The Demon King roared.

"No. It's enough if only I dissapear from this world. I'm going to save Zeldris no matter what! You're the one that's going to die here!" Meliodas yelled, determination increasing at every sentence.

"Enough!" The Demon King grew angry, sending a dark beam of light at the lake. Water crashed up, creating a mist around the lake.

In a split second, I felt a cold hand wrap around my neck. Tch- he was smart in leaving me with no room to move. His would is still bleeding after all.

"You're a fool for bringing them along when you knew they could be used against you," the Demon King smirked, thinking he had the upper hand. "With your precious lover and sharp tongued friend in my grasp, you won't dare lay a finger on me,"

Meliodas said nothing and stayed quiet. "Easy now; one step at a time-" he was cut off my Elizabeth's soft laughs. I smiled, knowing full well what Elizabeth was capable off.

"I didn't come here to be used as a shackle on him. I came to defeat you," she looked back at him with a straight face. "Ark!" He was covered in a shining light, forcing him to let go of us.

"Foolishness. Do you honestly think this petty attack of yours will defeat me?" He laughed. Elizabeth lifted him up into the air, high above the ground before bashing him into the lake several times, over and over.

"I'd take her seriously if I were you. Those who didn't came to regret it," Meliodas spoke darkly. I nodded in agreement. "Where I come from, Elizabeth had another title; Bloody Ellie," I smirked.

Elizabeth's hair flowed behind her as she left behind all kindness and mercy. "Burst!" The Ark burst, just as it said and the Demon King had received some scratches.

"Your concern for your little brother keeps holding you back and while you toil in that predicament, my powers are slowly recovering from the grace of this lake," Daroness began to surrond the Demon King, crawling up his arms and legs until it consumed him.

"There is one conclusion. Victory is already mine,"

I sighed, placing my hands on my hips. "And who decided that? Last time I checked, you were nothing more than a dead beet dead that only thinks about his own power," I scoffed.

"You foolish goddess. I am God. I am untouchable!" He growled back at me. Meliodas took slow steps forward with his sacred treasure alongside him.

"I forgot what it was....but you tried to tell me something once before. It wasn't just once. It was multiple times. And back then, all I could think about was obeying Father's orders. I didn't have any spare time to listen to you, but then, one day, you stopped trying to tell me anything,"

Meliodas stopped when he stood in front of the Demon King, yelling as he threw a punch in vain. "Fight Zeldris!" He cried out. The Demon laughed.

"Zeldris' consciousness is busy enjoying his silly fantasy. It shall dissapear soon enough-!" The Demon King punched Meliodas repeatedly, throwing him down into the aqua abyss.

"You're wrong! Zeldris is still in there! He promised he would stay by my side and I'll stay by his!" I cried out, running with my twin daggers in hand, slashing his shield multiple times to break it.

Hopefully, I can give Meliodas a chance to strike him from behind-

"PRISON GATE SABER!"

Lightning thrashed all around us. The Demon King jumped back, raising his sword to the skies. Lightning gathered at his sword like it was a lightning rode. Before my mind could even register what had happened, the Demon King ran towards me and stabbed only my left shoulder with the sword, thanks to by quick thinking.

He had previously aimed for my chest before I turned my body at an angle.

A chill went down my spin as my mind went stiff. My whole body felt as if it was paralyzed. Everything went blank in my mind.

.....The sword caused me to be hit my Lightning.....

It all made sense now. I smirked, before engulfing my body in a shadow cloak, encasing all the lightning in it. I condensed it into a smaller shape. It worked like a slinky- when condensed and it finally lets go, it flings forward because of the weight, creating a beam or as I say- a pulse wave.

"Midnight Pulse!"

"Enchant Ark!"

"Thousand God Slayer!"

Our powers all combined into Mel's sword. It resulted in a blinding light. The Demon King carried his sword and used magic of his own, but Meliodas broke through.

"COMBO MOVE!"

"GOD SLAYER!"

That attacl had done the most damage on the Demon King, sending him flying into the air and crashing back down on the water. The Demon King panted, trying to catch his energy, but something felt off.

"Zel! Fight!"

"Zeldris! You better keep your promise to me, you hear!?"

It seemed to be working for a split second until lightning struck the Demon King. Huge waves of water came crashing towards us.

"Please Zel! You have fight back!"

Meliodas was pushed back by the wave, Elizabeth helping him stand. A huge gust of wind replaced the previous lightning around the Demon King.

When it dispersed, my eye twitched. "Huh?! Why did you have to grow a beard!" I exclaimed in playful anger. "Zeldris doesn't suit the beard lookkkk!!" I whined.

.....And that day- I made a mental note to never let Zeldris grow a beard.....

"I feel truly revived! You have my thanks, Zeldris. Thanks to you, I have restored my powers. In fact, I have the body and power I had as a young man!" The Demon King monologued to himself, having the opposite opinion of his actions.

"Zeldris!" Meliodas called out, worried for his brother. I'll definitely have to tell Zel about this....I'm sure he'd like to hear that Meliodas is doing whatever he can to help you out...

"Give up. The little brother you should have saved is forever gone!" The Demon King shouted. "You're wrong. Zeldris isn't gone!" Meliodad retaliated. "I'll save him. No matter what!"

Meliodas allowed his demon markings to take control. "Save him? How do you plan on that? By yourself? Or will you call in reinforcements, the Seven Deadly Sins?" The Demon King asked.

"STAY OUT OF MY DARN BUISNESS!" Meliodas cried out. The water created furious waves.

"I'm in their debt- more than I could ever hope to repay!" He kicked the Demon King, sending him back a couple inches.

"So you do intend to defeat me all my yourself," the Demon King stated the facts.

Meliodas ran forward with the most determination I've ever seen on his face.

"I made my brother a promise!"

"I promised to save her! I promised to save Y/N!"

"Meliodas- we need to go back and reasses the situation-" Elizabeth offered, but Meliodas declined in a heartbeat. "NO! I WON'T ABANDON MY BROTHER A THIRD TIME!"

"If I don't do it, who else will save him!" Their battle commenced, but things were becoming dire for Meliodas. The Demon Kings previous injuries had all healed.

My eyes watered. My nails dug into my skin.....and I bit my lip. Did I really deserve friends like these? Ones that fight their hardest in the more dire of situations?

My thoughts were immediately stopped when a large entity fell into the lake, causing rain to fall.

"Looks like my calculations were right on point!"

....Gowther....

"How mean of you- leaving right after the party just started-!"

....Diane....

"She's right you know. We are destined comrades,"

....King....

"Did you really think we wouldn't notice?"

....Merlin....

........

My lips curled up into a smile, my hands shaking as they covered my mouth.

"The Seven Deadly Sins. Seven Rules. The Seventh Rule. 'From time to time, let's fight together',"

....Ban....

They all came.....they really came...

Don't worry Zel....I'm coming. So wait for me!
