Plot:

A prophecy was created when the son of a holy man started muttering frantically in his sleep. He mentioned a demonic human who's to take over the lands, and this man will be of black hair, blue eyes, and have a burn wound on his face.
And our MC fits that description for all but the burn wound.
He lives in a town of children like him with his parents who don't have blue eyes and black hair, though his father has blue eyes and mother has black hair.
Unlike all others, he doesn't live in fear and lives for his family, helping them out. He trains in his free time since he dreams of being a knight, though he knows it's impossible until the prophecy is fulfilled.
The prophecy is fulfilled when he comes inside to his mother heating oil on the stove after he finishes with chopping wood. Due to his mother's clumsiness, the oil is poured on his face, and he becomes the chosen under the prophecy's rules.
He runs away as people come to kill him. After spending weeks alone in the woods, he grows so lonely and insane that he begs for anyone, and the god of (death, underworld, etc.) hears and grants his wish, offering demonic powers and two friends (both of which also traded humanity for demonic powers), but he must takeover the kingdom under the god's name.
Would this have happened without the prophecy?
