"Huma!"

With that one chant, a shining water barrier formed around the silver haired girl as it blocked off these yellow spear-like projectiles aimed towards her.

'Lia be careful, this guy is no joke...and is actually pretty dangerous.'

Puck would say as he telepathically warned Emilia about the current situation she was in fighting Subaru.

And Puck was indeed right. If this boy was able to take on a whole squad of Knights by himself, then  that alone should tell them that he's dangerous.

She couldn't really reply at the moment as she was forced to dodge a kick quickly charging towards her, grazing her cheek in the process as she just barely dodged Subaru's kicked that was aimed towards her head.

'He's fast. . .!'

Subaru skidded across the floor for a bit before charging forward again, throwing his fist forward.

"!!!"

The silver haired girl moved her head to the side as she blocked an incoming roundhouse kick with her arm. She could barely do anything but dodge and block as Subaru was currently on the offensive.

She was only able to react in time due to her body's natural talents such as its high nimbleness, sharp senses, and above-average physical strength.

But she would not let that stop her.

Thinking quickly, she would jump into the air as an attempt to dodge a kick aimed towards her legs, Subaru was trying to trip her.

'Alright, now!'

She would place her hands in front of her before chanting.

"El Huma!"

From that chant alone, multitudes of ice spears formed and began to shoot from her hands as they descended down upon Subaru.

*WHOOSH!*

*WHOOSH!*

*WHOOSH!*

*WHOOSH!*

*WHOOSH!*

"Tch. . .!"

He quickly moved out of the way at high speeds before curling into a black and red ball and maneuvering his around the environment.

After the relentless rain of ice spears have subsided, the silver haired girl couldn't see where he opponent was due to the dust cloud that formed in the street of the capital.

One of those attacks had to have hit him, right?

'Did...Did I get him-?!'

*FWASH!*

"You're a pain in the ass, you know that?"

"?!?!?"

Quickly turning around, the silver haired girl was met with a kick to the head that sent her downward towards the ground before Subaru quickly reappeared behind her with his fist reeled back.

"It's. . ."

He quickly punched her in her side with such a force you could hear an audible "crack" in the air.

"OVER!"

Red lightning quickly flashed around his fist before he sent her flying.

The silver haired woman was sent flying at great speeds as she crashed into a nearby apple stand, the owner long gone as the fight practically forced everyone else to get the hell out of there.

*CRASH!!!!!*

"AUGHHHH.....!!!! HKKKKKK.....!!!!"

The silver haired girl would scream and wince in pain.

'It hurts....! It hurts....!'

The pain of a cracked rib felt excruciating for the girl as she struggled to get up, and as Subaru walked forward ominously with red lightning occasionally crackling around him; she began to feel fear.

This person ruthlessly took out a squad of knights and most likely killed some of them. The damaged property around him was obviously his doing, and to top it all of; he was extremely powerful and ridiculously fast.

As he got closer and closer with each step he took, he stood before her menacingly without saying any words.

Slowly, he rose his fist into the air as it crackled with red lighting, fully aiming to finish her off right then and there. And he would have done that if he didn't sense an incoming attack making its way towards him.

He quickly teleported out the way and reappeared on a nearby building.

"Who-?!"

A woman with pink hair dressed in a maid outfit appeared on the scene, analyzing the area and immediately noticing the silver haired girl laying on the ground; she immediately ran to her.

"Emilia-sama!"

"R-Ram..."

The woman now known as Emilia would speak before coughing up some blood, further alarming the maid.

As Ram looked around, she noticed Subaru standing above the both of them and put the pieces together.

"You're the one behind this, aren't you?"

She asked as she glared at him.

". . ."

"Answer me!"

". . .Yes."

A few seconds of silence took place before she slowly got up.

"I see...as a maid representing Lord Roswaal L. Mathers, I cannot allow you to harm Emilia-sama any further than you already have, scum."

She then took out her wand as wind began to form around her.

"Fura!"

Without saying much else, Ram sent out wind slashes with super high speed towards Subaru as he jumped high into the air before curling into a ball and charged down towards the pink maid.

Her eyes widened in shock as she noticed just how fast he was descending upon her and quickly acted as she jumped back while grabbing Emilia.

As Subaru actually made contact with the ground, his attack caused even more damage to to environment around him a huge dust cloud formed.

And as Ram laid Emilia back down; she began to think for a bit.

'This man...where exactly did he come from? How is he so fast? Is it because of his strange footwear? Whatever the case, he also has the ability to teleport; so I need to look out for that.'

She looked forward, seeing the Ultimate Life Form charge towards her at high speeds.

'The best I can do is to try and limit his movement as much as I possibly can...!'

"El Fura!"

Unleashing another blade of wind traveling at maximum velocity towards Subaru. He quickly sidestepped towards the left before suddenly covering himself in an orange energy field and began to accelerate beyond the sound barrier, catching Ram off guard as he charged right towards her, sending her skidding across the ground as he began to skate on a nearby wall.

Ram simply looked on in shock before sending out more wind blades in hopes of hitting Subaru, but it was all for nothing as he curled back into a ball and spin dashed across the wall before charging towards the maid again.

Quickly uncurling himself before landing a solid punch on the left side of Ram's face, before following it up with a punch to the right side. He then gave her a punch to the gut and finishing it off with a roundhouse kick that simply accelerated with the help of the rockets in his air shoes.

*CLUD!*

"Aughhh!!!"

Ram was sent tumbling across the floor as she skidded to a stop and struggled to get up, vomiting blood as she did so.

She was reaching her limit.

'This man is too fast...! I could barely see him...but I have him where I want him.'

Ram may have been a little weaker due to her condition but she wasn't stupid. She was quite smart.

As Subaru began to walk towards her, she smirked. This was noticed by Subaru as he asked.

"What's so funny?"

"Oh nothing...just that you fell for it."

Fell for it? What was she talking about? Was this woman going mad?

"What are you-!!"

She suddenly vanished.

"?!?!?!"

Looking around in alarm, everything was suddenly gone.

"What...What is this? Show yourself!!!"

He continued to look around before noticing an odd smell in the air and noticing a blue flower.

He stood there for a second before two pairs of vines suddenly sprouted out from the ground and made their way towards Subaru, fully intent on ensnaring him.

"!!!!!"

Due to it catching him off guard, it managed to grab his arms before another vine wrapped itself around his neck.

"Hrk!!!!!"

'This...I see what's going on here....this is some kind of illusion! That woman trapped me in an illusion of some kind, damn her!'

While Subaru's conscious was trapped in the illusion Ram had created, his actual body was encased in a block of ice by Emilia.

Ram's plan was to limit his movements, he was too fast for her so she had to play her cards right and lure him in. Once she successfully got him under her illusion, it would render his body in the real world to be unconscious. And taking that chance, she would tell Emilia to encase him in a block of ice.

Now with that entire issue solved, all that was left  was to wait for the knights to appear and take him in for questioning.

Though she was thinking to herself too much to notice that a knight already appeared and began to take Subaru in for questioning.

The only questions she had was what exactly was Subaru? How did he appear in the Capital? Was he a Witch Cultist? How was he so powerful?

And it seems she wasn't going to get any of those answers anytime soon.

"The hell do you mean we should put him under house arrest? He destroyed the guard's station and nearly destroyed the commercial area in the Capital!" A random nobleman would exclaim in outrage at the suggestion.

"Yeah, I agree! If it weren't for that half-devil and her maid, who knows what would have happened to the rest of us! That boy is an abomination!" Another one would say.

"Silence! Silence!"

The room would suddenly go quiet as a voice boomed over them. It was belonging to one of the wisemen as he began to speak.

"Now listen, we don't understand where this boy has come from. All we know is that he mysteriously appeared from the sky in some strange metia of sorts before we decided to place him underground underneath the knights' headquarters."

"Well that's even more reason to-!!"

"Now Bordeaux, we don't know how he woke up nor do we know how he got here. But Roswaal does have a point, he is far too powerful to be left unchecked, and locking up or even executing him would be proven useless. I propose we let him be under Roswaal's watch in his estate, and see what happens."

". . .Fine."

Currently this meeting was being held in the throne room of the Capital. Noblemen and knights alike stood in the room as Emilia and Ram were currently being treated for their injuries. So Roswaal was the only one there once he got the news.

That's when he stated his proposition.

Of course, Subaru was still unconscious while still being covered in ice. But even then, no one felt safe around him.

"Now that we have this me~eting out of the way, I suggest we hurry this along. We don't want our little friend waking up and causing a sce~ne in here do we?" The man known as Roswaal L. Mathers would suggest as he wore what you would expect a nobleman to wear.

Except he wore clown makeup.

From the Clown's suggestion. The meeting regarding what to do with Subaru ended as the unconscious boy was decided to be under Roswaal's watch.

After everything has ended, Emilia and Ram could finally leave the Capital and go back to the mansion, although Ram didn't really like the fact that they had to bring Subaru along, but it was Roswaal's order so she complied.

When they made it back to the mansion, they were greeted by a woman with blue hair that also wore a maid dress, she looked very identical to Ram aside from the few obvious differences.

"Welcome back Nee-sama, Emilia-sama." The maid would bow as she welcomed the two girls.

"Hello Rem, would you mind helping me us carry this...man to his room?" Ram would ask as she got of the dragon carriage and went towards the unconscious boy stuck in ice.

"Um, of course. Though who is this-?!"

Rem would stop as she caught a whiff of his scent. He smelled like...

'A witch cultist....but....'

But he also smelled different? It was to the point that it was stronger than the smell of the witch. It turns out he just had a very strange scent.

As Rem put those thoughts behind her, she proceeded to help Ram move Subaru up to his room after breaking him free from his ice prison.

From there on, Ram would explain everything that happened. From how Subaru caused lots of property damage in the Capital to injuring both her and Emilia.

"He what?!" Rem was furious.

"It's fine Rem, I'm quite alright. But Roswaal has decided that he should be kept under-watch in his estate. Meaning, he's on house arrest." Ram would finish explaining as both her and Rem made it to the room Subaru was going to be placed.

Once they removed his shoes, and placed him on the bed; they both left the room and proceeded to report to another resident in the mansion about their new...guest.

It was without a doubt that Subaru didn't make a first good impression in this new world and would have a lot of work to do.

Subaru's new life in this world was about to begin and take a new turn, no matter if he knew it or not.

The Ultimate Life Form's story was about to begin.

Authors Note: Oh man, I had fun writing this chapter. I hope this was to your liking as well. Cause I kinda feel like I rushed a few things here and there. I just hope I get better the more I write out the story. But on another note, who saw the Dark Beginnings Prologue animation? That gave me plenty of ideas. And who is excited for SS Gens to drop? It's right around the corner! And another thing, I don't know if I'll add any love interest in this story if I'm being honest here, what do you guys think?
