So I have a friend who has been my close guy friend for about 6-maybe 7 years- holy sweet Jeezuns! Whenever we would talk to each other at school, people always thought we were dating, though we weren't. I STILL have this issue now where if I say "My friend from old school, he-", that pronoun literally causes the other party to go "Ooh. Is he like a boyfriend or something?". It's gotten to the point where I start out every story with "Before this goes on, I'm (age) and I have been single for (age) years. I've had nobody yet! No! Body! Okay, anyways-"

Anyways, since that little rant is over, on to what this chapter was about. //So, a few days ago, my guy cousin and I were talking about how whenever we hang out with our friends of the opposite gender, "the paragraph above" happens.

Me: I'm tellin you, The, it's seems like it's just him! It doesn't happen with anyone else!

Him: I know! You know Carly down by the diner, been my friend since kindergarten? Well now that we're in high school, not one day goes by where 12th graders go "Aww!! Look at the little couple!!"!

Me: I know! It gets so annoying!!

Him: ....Y'know, I've never actually seen a picture of your friend. Kay has, on the other hand, but I haven't.

Me: Oh okay. Here. *shows him a picture of my friend*

Him: *looks at my phone, then back at me, phone, me*

Me: What?

Him: Hehe, y'know how ironic this conversation is gonna be in a few sec-

Me: Dude...!

Him: You two would look so cute together!! Do you NOT see it?!

Me: Well obviously not!!

Him: What has he done that's influenced you?!

Me: Well, he was the one who got me into "The Amazing World of Gumball" and Pokémon and YouTube and anime-

Him: *snaps* Cute, nerdy couple right there!

Me: .....

Brain: 'I'm sO cOnfUsEd!! WhAt?!?'

Me: I'm going to bed.... *goes into bedroom and shuts door*

Him: *aloud* OTP~

Me: *opens it back up* Don't you dare ship it!!
