I just found a guy I used to talk to from my old school on Instagram, and I was debating on whether or not I should follow him, so I texted one of my friends that is still friends with him like:
Me: "Would it be weird if I followed him?"
Her: "D-pends"
Me: "Well I haven't talked to him since the pool party."
Her: "Well, as long as your name is in the username, he'll be fine. I mean, you're not some random person he doesn't know."
Me: "Kay thanks"

I followed him, then I got a text from my friend.
Her: "So check this out."
Her: *screenshot of the guy and her's convo*
  Him: Um, so, I just got a follow from this 
  person. *screenshot of my account*
  Her: Dude, that's Ruthie.
  Him: Ooooh
  Him: I knew that
  Her: Riiiight
Me: "Seems legit"

Then I got a DM from him that was just "OHMEHGODRUTHIE!!" a split second later! XD
