So I started a new game/anime series recently called Danganronpa. It's inspired me to get more into mystery and I highly recommend this anime/game series if you like murder mysteries! I absolutely love it! 

So back to the main idea at hand. 

Danganronpa inspired me to write a fanfic. However, you see, it won't be the same as any Danganronpa game.

In Danganronpa, you start in a school called Hope's Peak Academy, created for gifted students known as "Ultimates". These are the people who specialize in something. However, this isn't any ordinary academy. Once you step foot into the building, you're already caught up in what's known as the never-ending "killing game", hosted by the lovely stuffed bear robot animatronic, Monokuma. 

The Ultimates are trapped in the school until the last person remains, meaning the last person survives the killing game, then they can graduate Hope's Peak Academy. The rules are simple: Kill or be killed. And if the killer, the "blackened", can get away with the murder without getting caught in a class trial, they can graduate and everyone else dies. However, if the others figure out who the killer is in the class trial, then only the killer gets executed. It's like a game of Mafia, only this really means death. 

It's such an interesting, moving plot, and it only gets better with the amazing characters. The Ultimate talents range from the Ultimate Swimmer to the Ultimate Detective, the Ultimate Gangster to the Ultimate Lucky Student (just a student drawn from a jar at random). 

So. For my Danganronpa Killing Game idea, here's the cover that I already whipped up.

This new anime collab story is called Danganronpa X - Anime's End with some hand-picked anime by moi... It'll be a little hard since some of these characters I literally know next-to-nothing about... So also help me out a little bit if you're familiar with any of these.

I honestly believe that even if you don't watch anime but are still interested in murder mystery, you'll like this, because you don't need any knowledge of the animes going into this!
