Life with a cat will never, under all circumstances, be easy.

Heck, life with two dogs PLUS a cat, is definitely not a piece of triple fudge chocolate cake.

So technically, I've got it hard.

Yet in some cases, these things can actually be really rewarding...

And on other days, you just wanna run away from your pets screaming "I NEED COMFORT. MY LIFE HAS BEEN RUINED. RUINED, I TELL YOU!!!"

Today, I'm focusing on some scenarios you may encounter if you have a cat.

I'll also be channeling my inner feline and I'll be considering what my cat's thoughts were in these situations that have actually happened.

And the best part? They all star my mischeviously adorable Persian-Siamese cat—Mitten.

Here goes nothing...

*when Christmas time is near*

Me: Phew. We finally set the holiday tree up! Thank god!

Mitten: Ooh, look! The humans have bought me hundreds and hundreds of new toys! And they're all different colors! Yay! Though, why are they on a tree? Oh well, I best go get them...

Me: I should go get a glass of water first.

*six seconds later*

Me: MITTEN?! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!

Mitten: Aww, come on, human! I'm just climbing this huge tree to get all these nice shiny toys!

Me: Oh no. This is bad. Really bad.

*when you've just finished baking*

Me: Done! Ick, I gotta go rinse my hands, now.

Mitten: Aww, one of the humans left out a nice big bowl! Maybe I'll go play in it. Oh, what's this? It's sticky... Ah, Nevermind!

Me: Mitten, why are you in the bowl?

Mitten: Oh, this is comfortable. Sticky, but comfortable!

Me: You're covered in cake batter!

Mitten: It's yummy, and all I have to do is lick it off myself! Yay!

Me: Oh, come on. Let's give you a bath...

Mitten: Bath...? OH NO. THE WORDS OF DOOM HAVE BEEN UTTERED. THE WORDS OF DOOM HAVE BEEN UTTERED!

*when it's bath time... AKA your worst nightmare*

Me: All right. Let's get this over with.

Mitten: NO. I WILL DESTROY YOU, HUMAN! DESTROY YOU!!!

*a little later*

Me: Come on, Mitten! We just need to rinse you off...

Mitten: I HATE YOU.

Me: Just need to wash off a little more soap...

Mitten: WHY CAN'T YOU JUST LET ME BE?!

Me: And then dry you off!

Mitten: HUMAN, I WILL BE YOUR GREATEST NIGHTMARE.
