Yet somehow navigating
I find solace in the silent word
Far away from the unwinding

Peace has washed over me
Crashing waves of unease have settled
A calm that has allowed me to be free
From an ungrateful manipulated betrayal

Into an overwhelming forgiveness

After you find yourself surrounded by bridges
That are burned to ash, with no hope
Of reaching the warm embraces
That once helped you to cope
